kettley
EDIT - Apologies for been a dumb, uninformed and ignorant Brit and posting in the wrong forum but... Do away fans ever go to American Football matches or are stadiums designated for home supporters only? Just curious as I'm writing an essay with the NFL on in the background. Scott Vibert
People go to away matches, but in some towns outwordly rooting for the visiting team can sometimes provoke altercation.
moring
I went to my first pro game last year and was outwardly rooting for the visiting team. As a matter of fact so was the guy sitting next to me, there was so much security there if anyone even farted wrong they would have been bounced from the place, but I guess different stadiums/teams have different security levels. D. Boons Ghost
Pittsburgh and Cleveland fans have long had a tradition of visiting each other's stadiums. I know that when the Steelers come to town, there are a ton of people from Pittsburgh that drive down to catch the game live.
