newbiezness
HIGHLIGHTS GENERATION EPISODE #138: Main Event GWA PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP DAVIS WAYNE NEWTON vs FELIPE CABALLERO w/ MELODY Sean McFly makes his debut in GEW and receives a standing ovation from the fans. The Canadian Blondes interrupt to say that, in their homeland Canada, Sean McFly is a big name only because he married Victoria Stone and not because of his in-ring ability. Then Kip Keenan lets out his patriotic spirit to say "why don't we finish this at GEW Planet Wrestling in a Canada vs USA match?". In the Opener, Nelson Callum accepts Chris Flynn's challenge and says that there will be a "Flynn vs Callum part V" at GEW Planet Wrestling, but this time it will be a Last Man Standing match. GENERATION EPISODE #139: In the Main Event, Perfect Score is back to warm up for the last match of Frederique and Handsome Stranger at GEW Planet Wrestling against Bryan Vessey's collaborationists. (DRAW) PERFECT SCORE (JAMES PRUDENCE & FREDERIQUE & HANDSOME STRANGER) vs BRYAN VESSEY & RAPID ATTACK After the match Perfect Score say they will look for reinforcements to secure the win and Bryan Vessey better do the same. Bussho Makiguchi explains how much it means for him to fight against a japanese legend like Koshiro Ino at GEW Planet Wrestling and say that Ino shouldn't put his career on the line because he is still a great wrestler. Koshiro Ino takes the stage to thank Makiguchi and say he is a man of his word and it will be a Career match for him, adding that he sees in Makiguchi "the passion and respect for wrestling I had when I started". In the Opener, Sensational Mark (Steven Parker & Kirk Jameson) say they are the true stars of the upcoming season finale event GEW Planet Wrestling. The Samoan Pit Bulls (Akima Brave & Toma) interrupt them to respond that this time the GEW Global Tag Team titles will change hands. DinoKea
GEW PLANET WRESTLING III Main Event: GEW Global Championship Ernest Youngman def. Roger Cage (c) It's been a nice change of pace seeing Youngman not be Champion and even be sidelined for Callum, but it is always going to happen. Pre-Main Event: GWA Pacific Championship Davis Wayne Newton (c) def. Jormungand Just a hunch #8: GEW Global Tag Team Championships The Samoan Pit Bulls def. King & Bishop (c), El Serpiente & Border Patrol II and The Wild Cats I secretly kind of love when random teams get alliance belt and it isn't just a one company title. In saying that, El Serpiente shouldn't have got the belt if they weren't ready to stay. #3: Koshiro Ino's Career Match Bussho Makiguchi def. Toby0618
GEW PLANET WRESTLING III Main Event: GEW GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP ROGER CAGE ©️ vs ERNEST YOUNGMAN Youngman isn't quite ready yet, Callum didn't win in his first opportunity so I don't think Ernest will either. Pre-Main Event: GWA PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP DAVIS WAYNE NEWTON ©️ vs JORMUNGAND DWN is far more over, and when he loses it should be a far bigger deal. #8: GEW GLOBAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SENSATIONAL MARK (STEVEN PARKER & KIRK JAMESON) ©️ vs THE SAMOAN PIT BULLS (AKIMA BRAVE & TOMA) Sensational Mark's reign is just getting started, no way they drop the belts here. #7: CHRIS FLYNN vs NELSON CALLUM Callum to get revenge after losing the last planet wrestling match these two have had. #6: CRAVING KANGAROOS (JESSE TASMAN & BRODIE LACHLAN & SURFER DUDE LUCAS & ROB EDWARDS) vs THE OLYMPUS DARK SIDE (ZEUS MAXMILLION & ALDOUS BLACKFRIAR & LOGAN WOLFSBAINE & SETH WHITEHEAD) Olympus dark side has more potential, I love Australians being represented like this but ODS are the more over Group. #5: MARSHALL DILLON vs STERLING WHITLOCK w/ ELIZABETH CARTIER When in doubt go for the babyface, but this one could go either way. #4: GWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP KING & BISHOP (SKY KING & REGGIE BISHOP) ©️ vs EL SERPIENTE & BORDER PATROL II vs LONG BEACH CREW (ACES HIGH & CALI SLICK) vs THE WILD CATS (TIGRE SALVAJE JR & EL JAGUAR) LBC are the most over act here, and will do good work representing the alliance. #3: KOSHIRO INO'S CAREER MATCH KOSHIRO INO vs BUSSHO MAKIGUCHI Makaguchi gets his first big win, and Ino goes out on his back, rising someone else's stock in the process. #2: BRYAN VESSEY & RAPID ATTACK (AMAZING FIRE FLY & RAPIDO) & THE TEXAS EXPRESS (COOPER CHRISTIE & TURK TRENNEMAN) vs PERFECT SCORE (JAMES PRUDENCE & FREDERIQUE & HANDSOME STRANGER) & EL HIJO DEL NEUTRON & VIKTOR BESKOV Perfect Score leave GEW on a loss, and the younger guys get a win over some recognisable names, works for the future. Opener: THE CANADIAN BLONDES vs SEAN MCFLY & KIP KEENAN McFly and Keenan are too over not to start out with a win, unless something crazy happens.
newbiezness
@Toby0618 with your comments about Flynn and Callum you gave me the opportunity to clarify this. Just to put the ‘Flynn vs Callum’ thing all together without any spoilers... because I realized how much has happened in this long storyline so far, as this is probably the longest one in GEW history: [Part 1] Summercard I: Chris Flynn def. Nelson Callum to win GEW Global title [Part 2] Planet Wrestling I: Chris Flynn def. Nelson Callum to retain GEW Global title [Part 3] Trust The Process II: Nelson Callum def. Chris Flynn to win GEW Global title [Part 4] Electric Cage II: Nelson Callum def. Chris Flynn in a Cage match to retain GEW Global title So they are 2-2 overall. You are correct that in their only Planet Wrestling match Flynn won. Flynn said in his promo he hasn’t forgotten about last loss because in their last Electric Cage match he lost the title and also that was their only match with a stipulation (Cage match). This time there is a stipulation too, Last Man Standing match, sorry I forgot to put the match type in the card, but Callum said it in his promo when he accepted Flynn’s challenge. I’d say that Callum wants to beat Flynn in a Planet Wrestling match as much as Flynn wants revenge for losing the title. newbiezness
PLANET WRESTLING III Here comes the big one, Season 3 finale event! Main Event: GEW GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP ROGER CAGE ©️ vs ERNEST YOUNGMAN GEW Global champion Roger Cage won the title at GEW Planet Wrestling II after defeating Nelson Callum, so Cage is so close to celebrate one year as a champion. But that it's not the only accomplishment he can reach tonight because Callum (during his 2nd reing) and Cage are tied with 11 defences, if Cage wins he will break the record for most successful defences of the GEW Global Title. Ernest Youngman won the Six Way Destination match to get this title match and main event tonight, is a former GWA Pacific champion and has already won the Global Empire Battle this year. This is the first time these two greats collide and they do it at the biggest stage. ROGER CAGE def. ERNEST YOUNGMAN Pre-Main Event: GWA PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP DAVIS WAYNE NEWTON ©️ vs JORMUNGAND 2-time GWA Pacific champion Davis Wayne Newton defeated Gram Gorman and Mimic in a Triple Threat match at ACPW's Sacrifice and Bradford Peverell in a Cage match at FCW Generation Fire #57 to complete 11 defences, still far away from his own record of 23 defences for this title. This experience means he already knows every company of the Global Wrestling Alliance and can adapt to different styles and opponents perfectly. Newton is in good form and obviously the favorite to retain, but Jormungand looked pretty strong in their two previous meetings at GEW Destination and GEW Halloween Nightmare and has been one of Newton's best challengers during his second reign. DAVIS WAYNE NEWTON def. JORMUNGAND #8: GEW GLOBAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP SENSATIONAL MARK (STEVEN PARKER & KIRK JAMESON) ©️ vs THE SAMOAN PIT BULLS (AKIMA BRAVE & TOMA) Sensational Mark have looked unstoppable since they formed this tag team and defeated Long Beach Crew at GEW Summercard to win the title. In fact, they are unbeaten in Tag Team matches. The Samoan Pit Bulls have been arguably their toughest opponents after a formidable Cage match at GEW Electric Cage and a second match at GEW Destination, the samoans were close to the win, but ultimately came short. During their last segments before the event, The Samoan Pit Bulls dismissed Sensational Mark's claims to be the "best tag team in the world" or "the true stars of Planet Wrestling" among others and said this time the titles will change hands. SENSATIONAL MARK def. THE SAMOAN PIT BULLS #7: Last Man Standing match CHRIS FLYNN vs NELSON CALLUM Could this be the most important rivalry in GEW history so far? If not, is one of the greatest for sure. This is 'Flynn vs Callum part V' and the first time the GEW Global title isn't involved. Chris Flynn asked Callum for the match saying he still had not a match for Planet Wrestling and it was the match that every GEW fan wanted to see, Callum accepted with one condition, it will be a Last Man Standing match. This was the Main Event of GEW Planet Wrestling I, when Flynn defeated Callum to win the title. The last time these two met Callum defeated Flynn in a Cage match to win the title. They are 2-2 in their previous matches and this could be the Main Event any given day anywhere. NELSON CALLUM def. CHRIS FLYNN #6: CRAVING KANGAROOS (JESSE TASMAN & BRODIE LACHLAN & SURFER DUDE LUCAS & ROB EDWARDS) vs THE OLYMPUS DARK SIDE (ZEUS MAXMILLION & ALDOUS BLACKFRIAR & LOGAN WOLFSBAINE & SETH WHITEHEAD) Craving Kangaroos odds to defeat The Olympus Dark Side weren't looking promising after a couple of matches, but finally Rob Edwards decided to come back with his old friends and they won a 4vs3 match when Gorgon left GEW. This year has been a roller coaster for The Olympus Dark Side, the faction that Zeus Maxmillion created when he joined GEW and where he has been able to let his malicious mind express like never before. Perhaps the conclusion is that they weren't able to capture the biggest prize (the GEW Global title) but that feud wasn't a pleasant journey for the champion Roger Cage. Of course Gorgon's exit was a big loss for the heel faction but Seth Whitehead is a very strong replacement and they are very difficult to beat together as a group in this kind of matches. THE OLYMPUS DARK SIDE def. CRAVING KANGAROOS #5: MARSHALL DILLON vs STERLING WHITLOCK w/ ELIZABETH CARTIER One of the most intense rivalries of the year, but undoubtedly the most intense for Dillon since he joined GEW and for Whitlock since he betrayed his friends of Head Quarters. It all started at GEW Telling The Story with a draw. After Whitlock won at GEW Reckoning, Dillon counter-attacked with two straight wins at GEW San Diego Luchahood and in a Generation episode and then another draw in their last match at GEW Halloween Nightmare. Elizabeth Cartier was confident that his client is going to get this done at the season finale event, "we'll see" replied Dillon. MARSHALL DILLON def. STERLING WHITLOCK #4: GWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP KING & BISHOP (SKY KING & REGGIE BISHOP) ©️ vs EL SERPIENTE & BORDER PATROL II vs LONG BEACH CREW (ACES HIGH & CALI SLICK) vs THE WILD CATS (TIGRE SALVAJE JR & EL JAGUAR) This story is a total chaos. The Texas Express were the GWA Tag Team champions before El Serpiente & Border Patrol II defeated them, to leave the titles vacant a few days later because El Serpiente signed for EILL, but not before he was loaned to GEW for one title match. Then ACPW booked a match for the vacant titles where King & Bishop became the new champions. So here we are now, ready for a Four Way Tag Team match and the participants are: the GWA Tag Team champions and 2-time ACPW Tag Team champions King & Bishop, the former champions El Serpiente & Border Patrol II, the 2-time GEW Global Tag Team champions Long Beach Crew and the former and first GWA Tag Team champions The Wild Cats. THE WILD CATS def. KING & BISHOP, EL SERPIENTE & BORDER PATROL II and LONG BEACH CREW #3: Koshiro Ino's Career match KOSHIRO INO vs BUSSHO MAKIGUCHI 45-year-old Koshiro "The Cobra" Ino was the first GWA Pacific champion and is one of the most beloved wrestlers in GEW, Ino has topped the merchandise best sellers list for a very long time. Ino put his career on the line for a first time at GEW Summercard to get one last title match and win the GWA Pacific title for a second time. Koshiro Ino made an open challenge to put his career on the line for a second time at GEW Planet Wrestling and Bussho Makiguchi won a Four Way match to qualify. Makiguchi feels so honored to be in this match with a fellow japanese legend like Ino that he asked him to reconsider his decision to put his career on the line, but Ino said he is "a man of his word" and that Makiguchi reminds him of his early days in wrestling. Makiguchi, a former 2-time TEW.com Tag Team Of The Year award winner, came to GEW to start a career as a singles competitor and turned many heads after defeating Sterling Whitlock in a Cage match at GEW Electric Cage. BUSSHO MAKIGUCHI def. KOSHIRO INO #2: BRYAN VESSEY & RAPID ATTACK (AMAZING FIRE FLY & RAPIDO) & THE TEXAS EXPRESS (COOPER CHRISTIE & TURK TRENNEMAN) vs PERFECT SCORE (JAMES PRUDENCE & FREDERIQUE & HANDSOME STRANGER) & EL HIJO DEL NEUTRON & VIKTOR BESKOV Frederique and Handsome Stranger announced their last match before leaving the company and James Prudence quickly joined them to form the historic Perfect Score faction for one last time. El Hijo Del Neutron and Viktor Beskov are their picks to reinforce the group. Their opponents are their old Season 1 rivals 'Bryan Vessey's collaborationists' and GEW's CEO picked The Texas Express. This old story has many chapters and the final one is tonight. PERFECT SCORE & EL HIJO DEL NEUTRON & VIKTOR BESKOV def. BRYAN VESSEY & RAPID ATTACK & THE TEXAS EXPRESS Opener: THE CANADIAN BLONDES (FLASH SAVAGE & OZZIE GOLDSTEIN) vs SEAN MCFLY & KIP KEENAN Sean McFly's hyped debut was a big success until The Canadian Blondes appeared to steal the show. The canadian duo mocked McFly saying he was famous in Canada only because he married Victoria Stone and not because of his in-ring ability. Kip Keenan suggested a "Canada vs USA" match. SEAN MCFLY & KIP KEENAN def. THE CANADIAN BLONDES The Wild Cats become 2-time GWA Tag Team champions. newbiezness
POST PLANET WRESTLING III PRESS CONFERENCE GEW's CEO Bryan Vessey: "Thank you everyone for coming, I'm not going to talk too much and we'll have time to talk about next season too. I just want to thank the 12364 fans that filled Matthew Knight Arena tonight breaking our record of attendance and also a new record viewership with over half a million fans watching at home. I think this has been one of our best events. I don't want to waste more time to present the first wrestlers to sit here, our 1 year long and still reigning GEW Global champion Roger Cage and our 2-time GWA Pacific champion Davis Wayne Newton!". - Roger, how does it feel to be the longest GEW Global champion and the first one to win in two Planet Wrestling Main Events? Roger Cage: It feels really good. When I came to GEW my only goal was to win this championship and I did it. I want to thank the fans for their support and also let me say I have the biggest respect for Koshiro Ino and what he's done here and in other promotions previously, he's had one of the best careers in America for a japanese wrestler. - Will you break your first GWA Pacific reign record of 23 defences? Davis Wayne Newton: The truth is, right now, I don't see anyone who can defeat me. I've been in Mexico, in Canada, in Japan, FCW... I am the best everywhere. They put me in Triple Threats, Cage matches, I don't care what they do, I always find a way to win. - GWA Tag Team champions for the second time, you weren't the favorites tonight, were you? Tigre Salvaje Jr: We know they don't realize how good we are. We were the first GWA Tag Team champions, but some of you just see two masked mexicans, you are the problem here! Not us! We are one of the best tag teams in GEW! El Jaguar: When I was injured for 1 year, I counted the days to be ready to fight again, to be back in the ring with my brother Tigre and finally we have won a championship again. We are going to shut the mouths of all those fans who underrate us. - Koshiro, congratulations on your amazing wrestling career. What a classy way to say goodbye, this felt like a Pass-The-Torch moment. Koshiro Ino: Thank you very much. I really appreciate the love that the fans have always given me in GEW and all the Global Wrestling Alliance companies. As I said I see in Bussho Makiguchi the kind of wrestler I was myself when I started in this industry. He's done big things in Japan already, but he is going to do big things in America too, as I did. I can see that. And we'll see what is next for me. Bussho Makiguchi: Arigato gozaimasu! I feel overwhelmed when I hear these kind of words to come out of his mouth. This is a great responsibility and is a great challenge for me to try to follow in his footsteps. Tonight it wasn't an easy victory because they don't call him "The Cobra" for no reason, he can bite you if you lose the concentration for a second, so I was very focus tonight. This is an unforgettable night for me. Edited March 25, 2023 by newbiezness

christmas_ape
Planet Wrestling III lived up to hype, GEW going from strength to strength. I'm interesting in you posting the shows with main event first. Are you picturing people starting from the bottom of the post and reading up to the top? Or starting with the main event? I can see the logic of it being like your reading down the card, how it's displayed in game but also obviously reading it in the order it would be shown also makes sense. Not that it's too important! My pick for the tournament is going to have to be Mutant. Although One Man Army (if he isn't in decline by now) could be a contender. I think this year GEW has taken steps forward to be one of the top companies, it will show in the rankings at the end of the year and we are very close to that point. About the order. If i have to be honest, the way I understand this diary is the interesting part is the long-term development, sometimes I focus more on details, but with this approach there's so much content to post. If I have to invert the game order for every show I lose too much time (probably this applies on me, not everyone) and if I only do it in some events for example I think it will be confusing. Maybe it loses a little bit of emotion. About the tournament. One big storyline is going to start with this tournament.

newbiezness
WORLD SITUATION SUMMARY SWF is a Large company and the #1 in the world and in USA. SWF has one 'A' TV show (Supreme TV) and one 'B' (Uprising). Rich Money, Joss Thompson, Edward Cornell and Tommy Cornell (after a long time unemployed because of his sex scandal) are the most popular wrestlers that SWF signed during this year, but from the financial point of view the new contract of Remo Richardson worth an astonishing amount of $726380 per month was arguably the most important operation. SWF solidified its position as the number one company in the world but internationalization is still a pending task in many areas and thats where the new SWF Network project can help, with a Very Big coverage in USA and a Medium coverage in the rest of the world. It seems like they are copying the strategy that Shane Sneer developed during his comeback to USPW with the USPW Network. Joey Morgan is currently the SWF World Heavyweight champion. TCW is a Big company and the #2 in the world and in USA. TCW has one 'A' TV shows (Total Wrestling) after Saturday Night Showcase went off air and one 'B' show (Wednesday Presentation). Wolf Hawkins won the Wrestler Of The Year award. The company's biggest signing during 2022 was D.C. Rayne. Rick Law is the TCW World Heavyweight champion. USPW is a Small company, the #3 in the world and the #2 in British Isles and Europe. USPW has one 'A' TV shows (American Wrestling) and one 'B' (Into Pieces). This hasn't been a bad year for USPW as you may think, their debt has stabilized at around -&5M, they are back in the top three world fan base ranking and although CEO Shane Sneer retired, the new CEO The Force is taking a similar approach. The main factor for this first signs of recovery is the USPW Network that Sneer launched before retiring, a very risky project where the company spent most of its remaining funds that ultimately is paying off, but don't forget USPW had to sell the USPW Performance Center to avoid bankruptcy during the process and their top wrestlers keep jumping off the boat. USPW Jacob Jett is the USPW World champion. 21CW is a Medium size company and the #1 in the British Isles and Europe. 21CW has two 'A' shows in Best Of British Wrestling and International Club. Apollo Prince is their most popular wrestler in the British Isles, he moved up to the 2nd place in 2022. Phillip Cooper is the 21st Century World champion. BHOTWG is a Big size company and the #1 in Japan. This was a fantastic financial year for them, passing from their previous $9M in 2021 to $21M at the end of this year, the company is enjoying the sinking of USPW that left the japanese market on their hands. Kinnojo Horri is the BHOTWG World champion. EILL is a Big size company and the #1 in Mexico. EILL won the Company Of The Year for the third year in a row. EILL has one 'A' TV show (Television) and a new 'B' TV show (Guerreros Del Ring). In financial terms EILL is now almost tied to TCW in the second place worldwide, this means their chances of signing top international wrestlers like they did in the past with Nicky Champions or Casey Valentine are now even higher. El Héroe Mexicano is the current holder of the Campeonato del Mundo EILL. GEW has risen to Medium size and is the #7 company in the world and #3 in USA (first time in the top 3 in USA). The company won the Most Improved Company award for the second year in a row. Financially the company almost tripled its funds in 2022, from $1.2M to $3.5M. Big names like Sean McFly, Steven Parker or Turk Trenneman joined GEW during last year, plus the comeback of Akima Brave from USPW and the company kept adding exciting young talent to FCW. GEW has one 'A' TV show (Generation). Roger Cage is the GEW Global champion. OLLIE is a Medium size company and the #3 in Mexico and the British Isles. It is the first time the company appears in the top ten and financially they moved up from $4M to $10M too. The role of the company in the COTT alliance is starting to be as dominant as GEW's role in GWA. OLLIE has one 'A' TV show (Guerra Extrema). Mr Lucha III is the holder of the Campeonato Universal OLLIE. PGHW is a Medium size company. Chojiro Kitoaji is the current holder of the PGHW Glory Crown. WLW is a Medium size company. Masa Kurata is the World Level Universal champion. GWA · The Global Wrestling Alliance. During last year GEW, EX2010, CILL and ACPW rose to Medium size, while FCW remains at Small size, although there are some differences about booking decisions inside the alliance, it is stronger than ever. ACPW has one 'A' TV Show (Classic Wrestling Showcase), CILL has one 'A' TV show (Superestrellas) and FCW has one 'A' TV show (Generation Fire). Davis Wayne Newton is the GWA Pacific champion. COTT · During 2022 MAW debuted its 'A' TV Show (Prime Cut) and IPW debuted its 'A' TV show (As Good As It Gets), while NYCW maintains Head To Head and CZCW maintains Coast To Coast. OLLIE and CZCW are Medium size, MAW and NYCW are Small size and QPW is Insignificant. Miller Fforde is the COTT World Heavyweight champion.
