It's a jam-packed hour of wrestling with Bradley Blaze defending the Mid Atlantic Championship against number one contender Cheetah Boy. They then hop right into the action. Singles Match One Fall Keith Vegas versus Dreadnought In a bout that didn't have much heat and terrible wrestling, Dreadnought defeated Keith Vegas in 1:51 by pinfall with a Dread Bomb. [16] DeMarcus & Gray were backstage for a pretape where they talked about being dissatisfied with how they retained the championships at the Rip Chord Invitational. They didn't like the way The Wolf Pack went about things so they're going to put the titles back on the line at Wrestling Classic at the end of the month so they can prove that they're the best tag team in Mid Atlantic Wrestling. [30] v The Heartbreak Express was backstage hyping up the upcoming match at Flashpoint against The Scheme when once again their manager, Lisa Bowen, expressed trepidation about the match. She doesn't think they should be fighting other guys from The Bootcamp, that it could be dangerous but they play it off, they're not worried. [39] Singles Match One Fall Miller Fforde versus Ade Nelson In a decent match, Miller Fforde defeated Ade Nelson in 7:01 by pinfall with a Fforde Flip Face Crusher. [42] Miller Fforde took the microphone after beating Josh Jacob's lackey. He wants Josh Jacobs so he can show the world The Friday Night Delight is doesn't belong in MAW and should find a home elsewhere. [41] Tag Team Match One Fall Jaylon Martins & Joey Fili versus The Past Masters In a bout that didn't have much heat and terrible wrestling, The Past Masters defeated Jaylon Martins and Joey Fili in 10:29 when The Historian pinned Jaylon Martins with a Flashback. [26] Blaze hypes his upcoming title defense. He's proud to be the Mid Atlantic Champion and he isn't going to let Cheetah Boy take that from him. [30] Singles Match One Fall Joey Fili versus Marco Gonzalez In an abysmal match, Joey Fili defeated Marco Gonzalez in 7:47 by pinfall with a Spinning Back Fist. [18] Cheetah Boy says that he wants Bradley Blaze so bad and he knows that he lost clean, but he knows he can beat Blaze and at Flashpoint, he's going to put his Mid Atlantic Wrestling career on the line against Bradley Blaze for a chance at the Mid Atlantic Championship. [34] Non Title Match Tag Team Match One Fall DeMarcus & Gray versus Curtis Shaw & Guillotine In a decent match, DeMarcus & Gray defeated Curtis Shaw and Guillotine in 9:50 when Nate DeMarcus pinned Curtis Shaw with a Rocket Launcher. [35] Nate and Tyrone are celebrating their win when the Wolf Pack comes out onto the entry way. There is a little tension-building staredown, but no physicality. The two men went over the gravity of tonight, with Akima Brave and Mr. Lucha III wrestling in the main event to crown a brand-new COTT World Heavyweight Champion while on this same show Cheetah Boy puts his MAW career on the line against Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Bradley Blaze. There are four big matches on tonight's Opening Match Singles Match Thirty Minute Time Limit Miller Fforde versus Josh Jacobs The show starts with Miller Fforde and Josh Jacobs going one on one. Ade Nelson was not present (in fact, he has finished up with Mid Atlantic Wrestling, at leat on a full time basis). Josh Jacobs looked good in the match, but the structure of the match was to put over how talented Miller Fforde is. Fforde hit several high flying spots to showcase his range and ultimately he won with his Flace Face Crusher that is his trademarked move. In a decent match, Miller Fforde defeated Josh Jacobs in 15:53 by pinfall with a Fforde Flip Face Crusher. (44) Tag Team MatchThirty Minute Time LimitThe Heartbreak Express w/ Lisa Bowen versus The Scheme We come out of the match for the tag team match that has been built for the last month or so with The Heartbreak Express looking to get even with The Scheme. The Heartbreak Express came out hot and really controlled the early parts of the match. The Scheme sold and tried to get away and all of the classic heel work. Lisa Bowen looked conflicted the entire time. The Scheme was able to seize control and really put the boots to Ralph who was on full sell mode. Ralph bumped all over for them and all of The Scheme's heel work before Ralph made the hot tag and Johnny came in like a house of fire. Johnny delivered a wicked dropkick to Jonah Pilgrim when Pilgrim was perched on the top rope and Pilgrim took a wipe-out bump to the floor. Referee Ryan Fair went ringside to check on Jonah and Johnny looked like he was setting The Architect up to finish him off. Lisa rolled in the ring behind Johnny and low blowed him! She's his manager darn it! The Architect immediately locked in his Blueprint and when Ryan got back in the ring he saw Johnny tapping out. In a decent match, The Scheme defeated The Heartbreak Express in 18:59 when The Architect submitted Johnny Needham with a Blueprint. During the match we also had Lisa Bowen turn on Needham. The Architect carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. (38) Career vs Mid Atlantic Championship Singles Match Sixty Minute Time Limit Cheetah Boy versus Bradley Blaze (c) Cheetah Boy put his career on the line against Bradley Blaze's MAW Championship in the semi-final contest. The crowd was really into this as Cheetah kept trying to find ways to beat the beloved Bradley Blaze, who kept fighting back and fighting out of danger. Cheetah tried every trick he knew, every dirty move he knew, but Blaze was ready for him and put him down with a Dallas Drop to both successfully defend the MAW strap but also end Cheetah Boy's MAW career. In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Bradley Blaze defeated Cheetah Boy in 23:52 by pinfall with a Dallas Drop. Bradley Blaze makes defence number four of the Mid Atlantic Championship title. (45) Main EventCOTT World Heavyweight ChampionshipSingles MatchSixty Minute Time LimitAkima Brave versus Mr. Lucha III The main event pit Akima Brave, making up for the appearance he missed, against Mr. Lucha III. Akima Brave works full time for COTT promotion ISLE while Mr. Lucha III is one of the top stars of OLLIE. The two men really put on a very good, classic World Title match that had a lot of back and forth action. Akima was clearly the more popular wrestler here as he has spent more time working in America (and been on national tv) while Mr. Lucha III has mostly been in Mexico his whole career. Mr. Lucha III did really impress the crowd with his skills, but ultimately Akima Brave's Suicide Headbutt (top rope diving headbutt) to get the win and secure his place as the COTT World Heavyweight Champion. In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Akima Brave defeated Mr. Lucha III in 34:45 by pinfall with a Suicide Headbutt. They're really fired up and they vow to get even on Lisa for turning on them, for costing them a match that would have surely gained them a championship opportunity. They trusted Lisa even when people told them not to. They believed that she had their backs and she stabbed them in those very same back. To make sure they have someone watching out for Lisa, they've brought in a new manager, Allison Addison! 19 Tag Team Match One Fall Ace Youngblood & Kid Fantastic versus The Past Masters In a decent match, The Past Masters defeated Ace Youngblood and Kid Fantastic in 6:27 when The Historian pinned Kid Fantastic with a Flashback. 34 Miller Fforde cuts a fired up promo after his defeat of Josh Jacobs. He feels like he has proven that he is the soul of MAW. He loves MAW, it is his home and he will not stop until the entire wrestling world understands the value of MAW. 37 MAW Chesapeake Championship Singles Match One Fall Harvey Robbinfield versus Jaylon Martins (c) In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Jaylon Martins defeated Harvey Robbinfield in 9:50 by pinfall with a Flying Forearm. Jaylon Martins makes defence number two of the MAW Chesapeake Bay title. 23 Lisa Bowen is backstage and flanked by The Architect, Deuce Deadline, Copperhead, Trix Triumph, and The Wolf Pack. She says that these six men are the faces of MAW. They're the real leaders of this company. The real soul. They're the Bootcamp. She's tired of pretending otherwise. She's tired of seeing other people shine above these six and she's making it her sole focus to make sure all six of these men taste championship gold in MAW in the year 2020. 42 In a terrible match, Dreadnought defeated Jack Allen in 1:34 by pinfall with a Dread Bomb. 15 Bradley Blaze comes out to the ring with the Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. He's incredibly proud of his win at Flashpoint, ridding MAW of Cheetah Boy and allowing himself to recofus on being the best wrestler in the United States -- which is his goal -- to be the best. Every match he gets better and better and he doesn't forsee anyone being able to unseat him. He's interrupted by Antonio Del Veccio and Annihuls. ADV does all the talking (Annihulus is clearly there to be his muscle). ADV says that Blaze has been impressive but he hasn't faced the caliber of wrestler that ADV is, that Annihulius is -- or that this man is.. Nelson Callum comes out. Opening MatchMAW Chesapeake Bay Championship Singles Match Curtis Shaw vs. Jaylon Martins (c) In a poor match, Jaylon Martins defeated Curtis Shaw in 7:53 by pinfall with a Flying Forearm.
