Kimberly
Challenge Answered The Road to Perth has reached it's final stop as Raw comes on the air just 5 days away from Elimination Chamber and with an epic main event! For weeks, Intercontinental Champion Big E and his partners in The New Day have been on a collision course with The Judgment Day. Two weeks ago, The Judgment Day left the entire group laying beaten in the ring which prompted the IC Champ to issue a challenge for the main event of Raw: Big E would put his championship on the line against any member of TJD. That challenge has been answered by the Archer of Infamy, Damian Priest. Will The Judgment Day begin to return to running Raw? Or will Big E and The New Day dispatch of their rivals once and for all? We'll find out in the main event of Monday Night Raw! Don't miss Raw LIVE this Monday on USA!
Kimberly
A video recapping last week is shown, highlighting Stephanie McMahon’s suspension of Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Rhea Ripley. The video when shifts to Cena making the save on Gunther, just before Cody Rhodes could and the eventual glance between them. FEBRUARY WEEK 3 HONDA CENTER ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA As the show begins, we’re backstage where Carmella, Chelsea Green and Emma are putting a beating on Kairi Sane. The mean girl trio finally backs off, satisfied with their handiwork. ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFIER TRISH STRATUS VS SHAYNA BASZLER We go straight to the ring as Joseph and Graves welcome us to the show. This qualifier goes back and forth but it's Baszler who is enjoying the advantage on the veteran. Stratus keeps fighting, and when Shayna makes a mistake, Trish takes advantage. She stuns Shayna with a back elbow and quickly turns it into a Stratusfaction springboard bulldog. RESULT: TRISH STRATUS WINS BY PINFALL AND QUALIFIES FOR THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER We cut to Stephanie McMahon in her office with Gunther. She says that she’s given him a few weeks now to announce his WrestleMania decision. He needs to understand that it’s not just about him. The uncertainty is stopping her from making the best possible plans for Raw. He laughs and says he doesn’t give a damn about her plans. He won the Royal Rumble, and he will decide when to announce his plans. Not her, and not her husband. Stephanie’s expression changes from diplomatic to cold and she tells him that if he doesn’t make his announcement this Saturday at Elimination chamber, she’ll make it for him next week on Raw. A staredown ends the segment. COMMERCIAL BREAK SAMI ZAYN W/KEVIN OWENS VS REX STEINER W/DREW MCINTYRE Steiner is impressive in the beginning of the match throwing Zayn around. Sami and KO regroup on the outside and the match gets more even with several close falls on both sides. About half way through the match Maria Kanellis comes down to ringside and stands next to McIntyre, talking and flirting with him. Steiner hits a Steinerline and while Sami struggles to get up, Rex moves to the corner, setting up for a spear when he spots Maria. He begins to argue, telling her to leave. He’s so focused on her he doesn’t see Sami get up and next thing he knows, Sami connects with a Helluva Kick. Steiner collapses and Zayn gets the win. RESULT: SAMI ZAYN WINS BY PINFALL Backstage, Bronson Reed is pacing like a monster as the Miz watches. Reed says Seth Rollins is a dead man and he doesn’t even know it. He says Rollins made the biggest mistake of his life last week. Now he will pay the price at Elimination Chamber when the WWE’s resident Kaiju smashes him flat. The Tsunami is coming Seth. COMMERCIAL BREAK Backstage Drew McIntyre and Rex Steiner are in the midst of an argument as we return from break. Steiner blames Maria for the loss, while McIntyre defends her. Steiner says that this Saturday she better stay away from ringside and storms out. Drew consoles her, telling her it wasn’t her fault and they share a hug, but we see her face and she smiles. GIOVANNI VINCI VS MATT RIDDLE Riddle is laser focused and as soon as the bell rings he closes in on Vinci, using a combination of strikes and takedowns, UFC-style. With Vinci flat on his back following a high kick to the temple, Riddle mounts him and commences throwing elbows down into his head until the referee quickly stops the match with Vinci unable to continue. RESULT: MATT RIDDLE WINS BY STOPPAGE Riddle gets his arm raised but we see Randy Orton jump the barrier and begin sliding into the ring when Riddle swirls around and sees him. Orton’s eyes go wide, and he slowly slides back out to the floor. Riddle wants him to come in and fight but Orton backs off, telling Riddle not yet. COMMERCIAL BREAK Vic Joseph and Corey Graves announce the headliner for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024. They say the Wiseman will be inducted by the one and only Texas Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin the night before WrestleMania Saturday. Backstage, Byron Saxton catches up to an angry Matt Riddle. Riddle says that Orton thought he’d sneak attack him but Riddle knows him better than anyone in recent memory. And if Randy wants to fight him, then do it like a man. At WrestleMania, Riddle says he wants Orton in a No Disqualification match. And if Orton wants to accept, Riddle says he’s not hard to find. We see Nikki Cross headed to the ring. She’s in Elimination Chamber qualifying action…next! COMMERCIAL BREAK ELIMINATION CHAMBER QUALIFIER CANDICE LARAE VS NIKKI CROSS Nikki is a whirlwind of energy and quickly overwhelms Candice, who has to spend her energy defending herself instead of going on offense. Nikki batters her, taking a few high risk chances including dropping an elbow off the second rope. With a manic smile, Nikki picks up Candice and delivers a double arm DDT for the win. RESULT: NIKKI CROSS WINS BY PINFALL AND QUALIFIES FOR THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER. Backstage World Heavyweight Champion John Cena knocks on Cody Rhodes locker room door and when Cody opens it there is a moment of tension but Cena calms it by saying he only wanted to come by and ask Cody to consider him and this title if Gunther chooses Roman, saying it’d be an honor to defend it against him. Cody nods and says he will consider it and the two shake hands as Cody closes the door. COMMERCIAL BREAK Vic Joseph and Corey Graves run down the Raw-centered action at this Saturday's Elimination Chamber. DAMIAN PRIEST VS BIG E © Both men are powerful and Priest has an early advantage due to his reach and length, striking and kicking Big E from a distance, which works fine until Big E catches one of those kicks and then pulls Priest in for an exploder suplex. Big E is feeling it now, using his ‘inside game’ to give Priest a taste of his own medicine. Balor and Mysterio come down to ringside and Finn gets on the apron to distract the referee as Dominik slips into the ring but as soon as he does…. Kofi and Woods come running down, Woods yanks Finn off the apron, and Kofi slides in, tackling Dom before he can do anything to Big E. The referee looks ready to call for the end of the match but the fighting moves to the outside of the ring leaving Big E and Priest in the ring alone. Priest stuns E with a forearm to the side of the head, and goes for South of Heaven but the champion slips out and when Priest turns around, he’s scooped up and driven down with the Big Ending. RESULT: BIG E RETAINS THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL The New Day celebrate together in the ring as the show ends. Joseph and Graves encourage everyone to tune into FOX on Saturday at a special start time of 5 am eastern for Elimination Chamber. Good Night from Anaheim! Pipers Pit
FEBRUARY WEEK 3 MARGARET COURT ARENA MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA Logan Paul opens the show already in the ring. He says this Elimination Chamber match tomorrow is completely unfair. Adam Pearce has shoved this on him because of the jealousy of the people in the back. They’re angry that he is the biggest star in the company and he did it without any background in wrestling. They can’t beat him one on one, they’ll never beat him in a fair fight….. “Blah blah blah”. Sheamus comes down to the ring and disputes Paul’s remarks, saying he’s just a little pup whining because he knows what’s coming tomorrow and that’s when Sheamus will kick Paul’s head clean off his shoulders. “You’re both delusional!” AJ Styles comes down and says if anyone is walking out of the Chamber as the new champion it’s him because he didn’t come all the way to his island filled with the descendents of criminals to lose. “AJ, you may be phenomenal but you’re not Almighty!” Bobby Lashley joins everyone in the ring. By now, Paul is looking not only frustrated but really annoyed. Lashley says that everyone knows he’s the rightful champion but in the Chamber, the Brand can’t save Paul and when he gets him in the Hurtlock, he may not let him go. “All I see in the ring is a bunch of talking.” Santos Escobar comes down and says there is only one Emperor of Lucha Libre and that’s him. He will use every inch of that chamber to be the last man standing.” Finally, Pete Dunne comes down but doesn’t say anything until “Why are we talking, let’s fight!” A brawl breaks out and when it does, Paul ditches to the outside. His five opponents don’t seem to notice as he heads up the aisle, eyes wide, and heads to the back. CARMELO HAYES VS RIDGE HOLLAND Holland tries to muscle Hayes around but that doesn’t last long. Hayes takes over with his pure athleticism and shows off a variety of offense before hitting the HIMplex for the win. RESULT: CARMELO HAYES WINS BY PINFALL Carmelo gets his arm raised but suddenly MVP is in the ring and grabs the arm from the referee. Hayes looks over in confusion, but MVP is in full promotion mode and Hayes nods a little at getting the attention. Logan Paul is leaving the building when he’s stopped by Adam Pearce. Paul says tomorrow is unfair and he may not even show up. Pearce reminds him that if he doesn’t, he’ll be in violation of his contract and no matter how much money he has, WWE has more. Pearce tells him he’ll see him in the Chamber or he’ll see him in court. Pearce closes the door leaving a frustrated Paul outside. Carmelo Hayes is in his locker room when Ilja Dragunov comes in. He says they’ve known each other awhile now and he wants to warn Hayes about MVP. He’s a snake and he’s not to be trusted. Hayes thanks him for his concern but he’s able to make his own business decisions. They shake hands and Dragunov leaves. ASHLEY VOX VS ASUKA W/ JAKE ROBERTS Asuka dominates her local opponent in quick fashion. After beating her down, she hits a devastating DDT and instantly transitions into the Asuka Lock for the win. RESULT: ASUKA WINS BY SUBMISSION Asuka isn’t done, She drags her opponent out of the ring by her hair and rams her into the steps, before sitting her next to them. Asuka backs up and then hits a running hip attack, crushing her opponent’s head into the steel. Officials run down as Roberts leads Asuka away with a devilish grin. Cole tells us after the break we’ll hear from the WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, just one day away from her title defense against Bayley. Charlotte Flair comes down in grandeur, and once she’s in the ring she says that she is so happy to be in Melbourne and she cannot wait to be in Perth tomorrow because tomorrow is something that has been a long time in coming. She says before she says more, she wants her opponent Bayley to come down here. Bayley does, though she looks a little weary. Charlotte says that tomorrow they’re going to steal the show, but before that there’s something she needs to get off her chest. She tells Bayley there is a reason why Bayley was left behind when the Women’s Revolution began. There’s a reason why Bayley is the forgotten Horsewoman. And that is because at the end of the day, Bayley just isn’t good enough. She wasn’t good enough to be called up, she wasn’t good enough to hang with Charlotte, or Becky, or even Sasha and she damn isn’t good enough to take this title. WOOOOOO. Bayley’s expression is one of legitimate hurt, almost embarrassment, as Charlotte walks past her and leaves her in the ring. PRETTY DEADLY VS ILJA DRAGUNOV AND KEITH LEE Dragunov and Lee do not have a lot of tag cohesion and it shows early on. Pretty Deadly are fluid in their tags and isolating either opponent. While Wilson and Ilja tangle in the ring. Prince baits Lee into charging him near the time keeper’s area and moves, as Lee crashes through the wall. The official jumps outside to check on him and doesn’t see we have someone new at ringside. The Nigerian Giant Omos has arrived. He steps over the top rope and grabs Dragunov by the throat, delivering a double handed chokeslam. He leaves and Wilson smartly makes the cover and gets the win. RESULT: PRETTY DEADLY WIN BY PINFALL Omos, most certainly under orders from MVP attests Cole, climbs into the ring and grabs Dragunov by the throat, lifting him off the canvas for another big double handed chokeslam when… Lee rolls back into the ring and rips Ilja down, going chest to chest with Lee. Lee shows no fear as MVP runs down to the ring. MVP orders Omos out of the ring and even though the giant doesn’t want to comply he eventually does, after a lengthy staredown with Lee. Karrion Kross is backstage pacing as Scarlett leans against the wall. Kross goes into a length tirade about the arrogance and pride of LA Knight. Tomorrow night, he promises, that arrogance and pride will be bled out of him, and then, Kross tells us, LA Knight’s fifteen minutes of fame will be over. Tick Tock. TAMINA VS IYO SKY Taminas brute force grounds Iyo early on but once she has an opening, Sky takes the match over with quick attacks, keeping Tamina on defense. A tornado DDT plants Tamina in position for Iyo’s moonsault which gets the 123. RESULT: IYO SKY WINS BY PINFALL Michael Cole and Wade Barrett run down the happenings at Elimination Chamber in less than twenty-four hours. The Street Profits are on the way to the ring. Their match with Theory and Waller is next! THE STREET PROFITS VS AUSTIN THEORY AND GRAYSON WALLER An even match that sees both sides control equal amounts of time. The change happens when Ford gets the hot tag and begins taking it to both Theory and Waller. Ford whips Waller into Theory, knocking Austin off the apron. When Waller staggers back, Ford hits an electric DDT before kipping up and jumping to the top and hits a sky-high frog splash for the win. RESULT: THE STREET PROFITS WIN BY PINFALL The entire Bloodline comes down to the ring. Heyman begins to speak but Roman opens his hand for the mic and Heyman dutifully hands it over. Roman says tomorrow night Gunther will make the biggest decision of his life. He has two paths. One is winning a title on the grandest stage. The other, is being put down by the GOAT, the Tribal Chief, the Head of the Table. But it doesn’t have to be like that. Gunther became the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time…full respect for that. Don’t let the legacy be tarnished. “Don’t choose the wrong path, because if you do, I promise you, you will regret it.” The Bloodline all put their fingers in the air as Michael Cole hypes tomorrow’s Elimination Chamber, airing very early on the east coast, live on FOX. Pipers Pit
FEBRUARY WEEK 3 OPTUS STADIUM PERTH, AUSTRALIA Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to Perth Australia and to the midway stop on the Road to WrestleMania, welcome to Elimination Chamber! A video hyping how all six women found their way into the #1 Contenders Elimination Chamber match. Nikki and Ronda begin the match with Rousey teeing off on Cross and Cross seeming to like it. When the first pod opens, it’s Kairi and she begins fighting both women. It works for a bit but once Ronda closes in on her, Kairi is at their mercy. The second pod opens and it’s Rhea Ripley. She goes right for Ronda and they fight to the outside of the ring, leaving Nikki and Kairi. The third pod opens and Piper Niven begins to wreck everyone in sight. She even goes outside and while Ronda and Rhea are focused on each other she avalanches both of them into the wall. In the ring, Nikki goes to the top rope for an elbow drop but Kairi gets up and stops her in her tracks, hitting a superplex and scoring a pinfall, eliminating Nikki. The last pod opens and Trish enters the match. She and Kairi form a quick partnership and head to the outside, double teaming Piper. When Rhea and Ronda join in, everyone targets the biggest threat. They all get Niven back in the ring and begin teeing off. Trish hits a Chick Kick which stuns Piper, Ronda moves in peppering her with body blows, Kairi comes off the top with a missile dropkick and as Niven teeters, Rhea grabs her and delivers a Riptide for the pinfall, eliminating Piper. As Trish and Kairi watch the three count, Ronda moves in from behind, judo throwing Trish down and immediately going to town on her. Meanwhile, Rhea has peeled Kairi to the other corner. The heels work over the faces for a few minutes then whip them towards one another, but Kairi and Trish avoid it and attack the opposite heel. Trish and Rhea pair off as Kairi surprises Ronda with a shotgun dropkick into the corner. Trish muscles Rhea up to sitting on the top turnbuckle and goes for a hurricanrana but Rhea hangs on and delivers a powerbomb off the second rope to eliminate Trish. She then sits back and watches Kairi and Ronda, in no hurry to help either one. With Ronda down and stunned following a running knee, Kairi climbs to the top, then turns and climbs on top of the pod. She soars for the Insane Elbow but Ronda rolls and when Kairi crashes and burns, Ronda immediately locks in an arm bar and Kairi quickly taps. Now it’s down to Ronda and Rhea and they begin battering the hell out of each other, but as they open the chamber to allow Kairi to exit…… The Man has arrived in Perth and she’s carrying a steel chair! Becky Lynch, ignoring the objection of the referee enters the chamber and uses said chair on both Rhea and Ronda. She wears it out across both their backs, before standing between them and raising the chair in the air to the crowd’s delight. Neither Rhea or Ronda is moving much and as Becky leaves, the referee looks conflicted but calls for the bell ending the match. RESULT: NO CONTEST Rhea and Ronda are still down as medical staff enter the chamber to check both of them. Stephanie McMahon is right behind them and stands in the middle of the chamber looking furious. The raging fire that is this triad blood feud has risen to even hotter levels. How will Stephanie McMahon respond? Rex Steiner enters his locker room shared with Drew McIntyre and stops dead in his tracks when he sees Maria Kanellis. He says he told Drew to keep her home and didn’t want her here but McIntyre says she’s a good luck charm and he couldn’t be away from her for so long. They give romantic glances and Steiner just walks out. Logan Paul arrives at the building and he doesn’t look pleased. Adam Pearce is there to meet him and says since he knows Logan is a fighting champion, he’ll begin the Chamber match tonight when he defends his United States Championship. Pearce leaves Paul looking like he’s very panicked. Neither man wastes time in trying to get the other to bleed but to no avail. Knight is run head first into the ring post. Kross is hit in the head by the ring steps. The referee is watching both men very closely. Kross begins to take over the match, hitting a Saito suplex through the announce table. He orders the referee to check Knight but he’s not bleeding. Kross is growing agitated, picks up a chair and when Knight is on his feet, throws it at him, but Knight catches it and returns the favor, barely missing Kross who ducks out of the way. The two continue to use anything they can until Kross hits a spinebuster and then extends his hand to Scarlett with a demonic smile. She reaches into her purse and retrieves a pair of brass knuckles, wrapped in barbed wire. Cole and Graves say this is it, a guaranteed blood bath. Kross puts the knucks on but when he turns, Knight is up and hits Blunt Force Trauma! Knight slides the knucks off Kross’s hand and to Scarlett’s dismay, puts them on, rolls Kross over and begins going to town with a series of right hands. It doesn’t take long for Kross to be busted open and the referee calls for the bell. RESULT: LA KNIGHT WINS LA Knight celebrates with his fans by climbing the turnbuckles, as Karrion Kross lays in a gathering pool of his own blood. Byron Saxton catches up with Becky Lynch as she’s getting into her car. He asks her if she’s worried about the reaction of Stephanie McMahon to Becky's actions. Lynch just grins and says the Man fears no one before driving off. The challengers are in full control as the match begins, overpowering the champions and Owens is taking the brunt of it. Zayn keeps trying to get the tag but every time it’s close, Steiner or McIntyre pulls him back to their corner. Zayn finally gets in and holds his own versus Steiner, using some veteran savvy to keep the young powerhouse on his heels. It doesn’t help that every other time Steiner begins to build momentum he’s distracted by Kanellis who is yelling at him or distracting McIntyre from making a tag. Finally Steiner has enough and steps out of the ring onto the apron to tell Kanellis to go to the back. He doesn’t see Owens tag in and run up, knocking Steiner off the apron, but in the process, Steiner wipes out Maria too. McIntyre looks conflicted, but picks up Maria and carries her to the back for medical assistance. With one opponent gone, Owens works over Steiner, as he and Sami begin working like a well oiled machine. Steiner finally breaks free and turns to tag out….but no one is there, when he turns around, he gets a kick to the gut and a stunner for his trouble. Owens hooks the leg and gets the win. RESULT: KEVIN OWENS AND SAMI ZAYN RETAIN THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL The Bloodline are in their Lounge. Everyone is talking quietly in private conversations when Roman stands up and the talking stops. He turns to face them and says tonight, we will find out if he will end the story or if he’ll also be ending a legacy before it begins. Either way, we’re still the Ones. Everyone puts their finger up. A pre-recorded vignette is shown of Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Adam Pearce. They announce that tomorrow at 11 am eastern, a special WWE Showcase will air live on WWE.com and all their social media. Don’t miss this historic look ahead at the “next season” of WWE! Steiner busts into the locker room where McIntyre is attending to Maria’s ankle. Steiner asks him what the hell was that about and Drew says she is hurt and that there will be other title matches. Steiner is ready to explode and grabs Drew’s shoulder, turning him around and says there won’t be for them because he’s done with this little game. McIntyre says that Steiner is overreacting and Steiner says if McIntyre wants to win those titles, get rid of the whore. McIntyre’s eyes virtually turn red as he punches Rex and they begin brawling on the floor before being separated by other wrestlers. Charlotte and Bayley show great chemistry in the ring, to no one’s surprise. The match goes back and forth and Bayley seems fueled by Charlotte’s demeaning promo the night before. As she works the Champion over, Bayley gives it back to her in spades, taunting Charlotte. But the Champion doesn’t stay down for long. Charlotte fights back, chopping the hell out of Bayley and showing why she’s got the belt. Flair begins focusing on the right leg of the challenger, a clear set up for the Figure 8. Bayley gets floored by a boot to the face and Charlotte climbs to the top but Bayley is up and stops Charlotte in her tracks. She climbs up and delivers a Bayley to Belly from the top! 1 2 Charlotte barely kicks out. Bayley can’t believe it. She gets back to feet and kicks Charlotte a few times before picking Flair up and body slamming her near the corner. Bayley climbs to the second rope but Charlotte kicks up at the injured right leg. Bayley slips and slams the back of her head on the top turnbuckle as she falls. Dazed, and on fours, Bayley is in perfect position for Natural Selection and an exhausted Champion gets the 123. RESULT: CHARLOTTE FLAIR RETAINS THE WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL Charlotte doesn’t even get her hand raised before Asuka hits the ring, assaulting the Champion from behind. Charlotte begins to fight back but Bayley joins in and soon they’ve got Flair down. But the crowd gets to their feet. Bianca Belair comes sprinting down the aisle and slides in. She drops Bayley with a clothesline, then pulls Asuka off Charlotte, hoisting her into the KOD but Asuka slips out and rolls to the outside, joining Bayley. Charlotte realizes who’s saved her, and there is a tense standoff, until Flair sticks out her hand. Bianca shakes it and they who share some private words as Asuka and Bayley look like they’re not happy their attack was thwarted. Seth Rollins is in Gorilla when Byron Saxton walks up and asks how he plans to overcome Bronson Reed’s massive size. Rollins says he won’t use the old adage ‘the bigger they are’, but he’s going to make a new saying. After tonight, everyone will say the bigger they are, the harder they get stomped! Reed attempts to attack Rollins from behind as the crowd is singing his song but Rollins anticipated this, and dodges, going on the attack and staggering Reed into the corner, but it doesn’t last long. Reed overcomes this early onslaught and begins punishing Rollins with power moves, focusing on his ribs and back. Rollins escapes to the outside for a breather but Reed follows. Luckily for Rollins, when Reed charges him, he moves, and Reed crashes into the ring post. This opens the door for Rollins to regain the advantage and he hits the big man with everything he can in and out of the ring. After nailing a running knee, Rollins bounds off the ropes but gets caught and spinebustered. Reed goes to the top and jumps off with the Tsunami….but Rollins moves! Rollins backs up and when Reed pushes up to his hands and knees, he nails the curbstomp. 1 2 Kickout! Rollins is surprised, and gets an idea. He goes to the second rope and hits another stomp. 1 2 Kickout!! Everyone seems shocked, even the Miz. But Rollins looks more determined than ever. He climbs to the top rope and hits a super stomp. 1 2 3! RESULT: SETH ROLLINS WINS BY PINFALL Rollins, exhausted, rolls onto his back, with a big smile as he basks in the hard earned victory but that moment is shattered when a moment later we see Finn Balor climbing to the top and flying off with a Coup d’Grace. Rollins rolls onto his back, holding his ribs in tremendous agony. As the referee checks on him, Balor goes up again and stomps on his back. We see a trickle of blood escape Rollins’ mouth as the camera zooms in. Balor is all smiles, telling Rollins he doesn’t ever forget. We’re shown a graphic reminding us that WrestleMania XL is a mere six weeks away! A video is shown how we’ve gotten to the United States Championship being defended inside the Elimination Chamber. As promised Paul starts off the match against Dunne and the champ treats it like one of his brother’s boxing matches, dancing around and avoiding Dunne which does nothing to impress the Bruiserweight. Paul’s luck runs out when Sheamus is the first man out of the pod. The former Brawling Brute friends form a momentary alliance and corner Paul, putting a beating on him in the corner. If Sheamus isn’t chopping him, Dunne is hitting him with an elbow or a forearm. Paul sinks to the corner and Sheamus immediately turns on Dunne, muscling him over to the corner. AJ Styles is the second man out of the pods and rather than attack Paul, he helps Sheamus with Dunne. Paul is just happy to get a breather. Dunne looks to be in trouble, but Sheamus misses a Brogue Kick and nails AJ instead. Dunne takes advantage, hitting a standing enziguri on Sheamus. Dunne turns back to Styles, but Paul jumps back into the action, superkicking Dunne in the back, which sends him careening into the corner. Paul puts Dunne on the top and lets him hang back into a tree of woe. Paul goes to the opposite corner and begins taunting Lashley inside his pod….until Lashley begins kicking him way out of his pod. Styles is up and Sheamus is back in the ring and they begin brawling. Paul backs up away from Lashley as the third pod opens and it’s actually Escobar. Paul’s eyes are still on Lashley who is intent on not waiting for his turn. Paul backs up right into Escobar who hits a snap german suplex which Paul barely kicks out of. Dunne gets himself right side up and goes for Santos, giving Paul a breather again. Lashley finally punches his way out and immediately goes for Paul, picking him up with ease and delivering a fall away slam. The Almighty is on a mission and chases Paul to the outside. The Maverick begins climbing the chamber to get away from him. In the ring, Escobar and Dunne are trading right hands when Dunne stuns him, and quickly hits the Bitter End, eliminating Escobar Sheamus has the upperhand until AJ yanks him forward head first into the chamber. AJ follows up with a Pele kick which knocks Sheamus down to a knee and it’s then that Styles climbs to the top of a pod. He waits for Sheamus to get up and soars with a Phenomenal Forearm! Sheamus is wiped out and Styles is also in a heap. Dunne sees this and pulls Sheamus back into the ring, locking in the Rings of Saturn and Sheamus, who’s barely conscious submits. Outside, Lashley is climbing up after Paul but gets kicked down and falls about eight feet onto the flooring. Paul looks around and gets a crazy grin, letting go and falling off, splashing Lashley. Styles watches this and moves over, helping Paul bring Lashley back into the ring but when Paul makes the cover, Lashley kicks out. Styles immediately puts Lashley in the calf crusher as Dunne grabs Paul by the hair and pulls him into a corner. Lashley powers out of the hold, kicking AJ away from him. He’s hobbled and AJ keeps going back to the leg with kicks, as Lashley advances on him. Dunne unleashes an incredible flurry of strikes, with Logan trying to cover up, dropping to a knee, and then nailing Dunne low. This brings Dunne’s attacks to a quick end. With Dunne bent over, Paul connects with an uppercut, knocking Pete out cold. Paul covers and gets a three count to eliminate Dunne. Lashley finally gets his hands on AJ, but Styles pokes him in the eye and quickly goes to the outside for another Phenomenal Forearm, but when he flies, Lashley launches up and spears him in mid air, quickly pinning Styles for the fourth elimination. Now it’s down to two and Paul knows he’s on his own. He does his best to avoid Lashley but it’s not easy and eventually Lashley gets his hands on Paul and begins beating the hell out of the champion. He military presses him, spine busters him, and is sizing him up for the Hurt Lock when AJ who comes back down the aisle, knocks the referee down and re-enters the chamber. Lahsley doesn’t see him and Styles enters the match and kicks Lashley right between the legs from behind. Lashley turns slowly, bent over and Styles takes advantage, picking him up long enough to deliver a Styles Clash. He leaves with great satisfaction as Logan Paul sees Lashley down and goes to the top, hitting a frog splash and getting the win. RESULT: LOGAN PAUL RETAINS THE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP Paul celebrates like he won the lottery, which Cole says he very may have to survive and keep this title. The crowd boos him but Logan loves rubbing his victory in their faces. Cole and Graves hype Gunther’s WrestleMania decision. Will it be Cena? Will it be Reigns? We’ll find out….next! Gunther comes down to the ring looking stern yet smug. He isn’t in the ring alone for long. John Cena comes down to a huge ovation. He eyes Gunther, making sure not to take his eyes off him. He gets a mic and tells Gunther that tonight he has a choice. He has a chance to make history, to elevate his career to heights never imagined and there’s only one way that happens and that’s if he chooses the World Heavyweight Championship. The Tribal Chief, along with the Wiseman Paul Heyman takes his good old time coming down to the ring. They stand in an opposite corner than Cena and Gunther. Gunther collects a microphone and welcomes both champions to the ring. He knows they’ve been waiting for him to make his decision and if he had it his way he wouldn’t be telling them tonight. But the choice of timing has been stolen from him and so here he is. Either champion would make a fine opponent for the Ring General. Should it be the GOAT…or should it be….. “Ladies and Gentlemen….my name, is Paul Heyman.” Heyman who’d been handed a mic interrupts Gunther before introducing the reigning, defending, undisputed, universal WWE Champion..Roman…..Reeeeeeigns. Roman walks out of the corner and says Gunther is on the Tribal Chief’s time now and this is taking too long. He tells Gunther to go ahead and pick Cena because he doesn’t want to get sacrificed on the Island of Relevancy. Gunther looks annoyed and says he will give his choice right now and he will enjoy it very much. At WrestleMania he will fight for the…… Cody Rhodes comes down to the ring, already with a mic and says this isn’t going down like this. Gunther has played games for weeks but Cody himself was crystal clear months ago that he was cashing in Money in the Bank against Roman Reigns. So he deserves to be out here as well because he’s already in the main event of WrestleMania. Roman looks annoyed and all four men come together in the middle of the ring. They’re all arguing when Gunther suddenly turns on a dime and hits Cena with a devastating lariat. Cody’s attention goes from Roman to the scene in front of him as Gunther mounts Cena and begins laying in right hands. Roman takes advantage, headbutting Cody at close range and locking in the guillotine choke. Cody tries to fight out but soon goes slack with Roman holding him up. Roman drops Cody as Gunther gets off Cena and they switch dancing partners. Gunther picks up a limp Rhodes and delivers a powerbomb. Meanwhile, Roman picks up Cena to a standing position before bouncing off the ropes with a spear. With Cena and Rhodes down, Reigns and Gunther lock eyes before they both smile and shake hands. Cole calls it a damn setup while Graves says it was brilliant. Call it what you will, the main events for WrestleMania are established. The Ring General will set his sights on the Greatest of All Time and the American Nightmare will try to finally finish his story! The Road to Wrestlemania now has a clear destination. Don’t miss the fallout this week on Raw and Smackdown! Good Night From Perth!
Kimberly
Good morning and welcome to the first annual preview of the next season of WWE. As we near the fortieth episode of WrestleMania, many are wondering what’s next? No matter who gets their hand raised that weekend in Philadelphia, there are changes on the horizon which will engage and entertain the WWE Universe. So sit back, relax, and I hope by the end of this you’ll be as excited as we are. With Elimination Chamber behind us, there is one more stop on the Road to WrestleMania. The return of a beloved piece of WWE history, Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live on FOX, the third weekend of March but it won’t be alone. In October we’ll see the return of the annual Clash of the Champions show, also live on FOX. One of the hallmarks of the Crockett and WCW era, the Clash has seen some of the biggest moments in the history of our industry and now it returns. These two shows will embrace our past as we move into our future. It’s time to shake things up again and the week after Wrestlemania will forever be changed. Beginning the night after WrestleMania, we’ll see the return of the WWE Draft, as you’ve never seen it before. Analysis, interviews, and a true sports-based presentation will see Raw and Smackdown draft members of the main roster on Monday Night Raw and then on Smackdown, we’ll hold the supplemental draft where Superstars from NXT will be drafted to one of the two main Brands. Following the Draft ,Raw and Smackdown will hold a few brand-centric Premium Live Events. Raw will run Bad Blood in June, Payback in September, and then in 2025 Raw will claim sole ownership of the Elimination Chamber, a match and concept that began on Raw. Meanwhile Smackdown will run Backlash in May, Unforgiven in July, and the return of the Grandaddy of them all...Starrcade in December. The Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Summerslam, and Survivor Series, along with Saturday Night’s Main Event and Clash of the Champions remain co-branded events. And speaking of Premium Live Events, we have huge news for the next edition of Summerslam, coming to you in August from Cleveland Ohio. Beginning this year Summerslam, like Wrestlemania will be a two-night event. More action, more memories. The biggest party of the summer just got bigger! We hope you have enjoyed this preview for the next season of WWE. Aren’t you forgetting something? Oh yea…..
Kimberly
A recap of the Elimination Chamber is shown. First we see how Becky Lynch caused a no-contest by laying out both Rhea Ripley and Ronda Rousey. Then we’re shown the end of the show in which Gunther chose John Cena for WrestleMania, and then Roman Reigns attacking Cody Rhodes, with he and Gunther shaking hands to end the show. FEBRUARY WEEK 4 SAP CENTER SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA The show begins in Stephanie McMahon’s office. She looks pissed. The camera pans and we see Becky Lynch, who is wearing a wide smirk. Stephanie asks the rhetorical question, just who in the hell do you think you are?! Lynch replies that she’s the Man, the Women’s World Champion, and she’s the only one around here who seems to know that there is unfinished business. Becky says Stephanie wants to blame her for what happened at Elimination Chamber, well look in the mirror sister. This isn’t the Man’s fault, this is the boss’s fault. It should have been the Man and the Baddest Woman on the Planet at WrestleMania 35, but no…Stephanie didn’t hold her ground and the moment was ruined. Well, one way or the other, that unfinished business will be taken care of and if Stephanie isn’t capable of seeing that, maybe Becky will go talk to her hubby and get it done. Lynch gives a wink and walks out, leaving Stephanie seething. We go to the Judgment Day’s locker room. Damian Priest looks very frustrated over his loss to Big E last week. Rhea Ripley looks absolutely furious about Elimination Chamber as Dom tries to comfort her. Finn Balor strolls in and asks why everyone is so glum. Seth Rollins is on the shelf, right where he belongs and yes, the last week could have gone better but they’re the Judgment Day, they run Monday Night Raw, and tonight we’ll regroup. They all begrudgingly come together with Balor’s enthusiasm slowly winning them over. We go to the announcers who hype tonight’s show, from what we’ve already seen to our main event. A WrestleMania rematch from over a decade ago as John Cena will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the Miz! RICOCHET VS RANDY ORTON Ricochet knows his best chance is to keep it high energy but he never gets the chance as Orton attacks him before the bell rings. Orton grinds him down with a meticulous and maniacal efficiency. The Viper picks his spots, finally ending it with a RKO in a dominant performance. RESULT: RANDY ORTON WINS BY PINFALL After the match, Orton grabs a mic. He says that he heard the challenge from Matt Riddle for Wrestlemania, but he’ll get his answer on a big stage worthy of the Viper. Orton says he’ll see Riddle at Saturday Night’s Main Event. COMMERCIAL BREAK A vignette is shown focusing on Intercontinental Champion Big E. There is special focus on his college career and the injury which almost cost him his career. Always fueled by the Power of Positivity, the WWE Universe knows that Big E Rocks! PIPER NIVEN VS LIV MORGAN Like Ricochet, Liv knows she can’t be a stationary target and she takes the initiative, beginning the match with a flurry, hitting Niven with everything she has….until Niven launches her across the ring. When Liv charges back into the fight she’s blasted with an unexpected cross body block. Piper has the match advantage and he doesn’t give it back, overpowering Morgan for several minutes before she hits the big Avalanche in the corner for the three count. RESULT: PIPER NIVEN WINS BY PINFALL Gunther is backstage by himself. He turns to the camera and says he knew all along he would choose to take Cena’s championship. And why not? For too long, this part timer, this Hollywood star has polluted Gunther’s ring. He doesn’t deserve the honor of facing Gunther at WrestleMania, but that’s okay, because the Ring General will do Cena the favor of relieving him of the burden of the World Heavyweight Championship. Then he can go back to making movies. He then makes a personal appeal. “John, look at me. You know you cannot beat me. Maybe a decade ago. But today? There is no way. You know it, and I know it. What’s more, these people know it. So enjoy the next six weeks, because in Philadelphia, I will send you packing for good!” Backstage, Kairi Sane is minding her own business when Carmella, Chelsea Green, and Emma approach. There looks like there will be another attack but Stephanie McMahon enters the scene, still steaming from earlier. Stephanie says she’s tired of all the BS around here, especially with the Women’s Division. So at Saturday Night’s Main Event it’s going to be Kairi versus Carmella, in a Loser Leaves Raw match. That’s right, whoever loses is fired. And since it appears Chelsea and Emma always want to get involved, if Carmella loses…..they’re fired too! Chelsea looks like she’s going to faint and the three antagonists leave the scene as Kairi thanks Stephanie for the opportunity. COMMERCIAL BREAK LUDWIG KAISER AND GIOVANNI VINCI VS DIY Standard tag with some good action. The crowd is into it and goes crazy when Gargano gets a hot tag. Johnny Wrestling looks fantastic in this, taking it to both opponents. Vinci falls victim to a tornado DDT and when Ciampa tags back in, he hits a running knee to the jaw, followed by Fairy Tale Ending. RESULT: DIY WINS BY PINFALL Byron Saxton is backstage with Drew McIntyre and Maria Kanellis. Saxton asks him about Rex Steiner, but McIntyre says he doesn’t want to talk about someone who would disrespect a beautiful and intelligent woman like Maria. He wants to talk about next week because next week Drew will be in a number one contender match for the Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event. So Rex is in the rear view, because with this woman next to him, he will be wearing gold in 3 weeks. COMMERCIAL BREAK The announcers give us an update on Seth Rollins following the attack by Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber. Vic Joseph says Rollins suffered multiple fractured ribs and there is no word on when he’ll be medically cleared. DOMINIK MYSTERIO W/ RHEA RIPLEY VS CARLITO Dom tries showing off for Mami and it costs him as Carlito is all business. The veteran wears Dom out from one side of the ring to the other, causing him to regroup with Ripley and when Carlito tries to get him, she gets in the way. This is the moment Mysterio needs and when he's back in the ring he’s able to ambush Carlito. Ripley even gets in a few shots behind the ref’s back. Carlito eventually falls victim to the frog splash. RESULT: DOMINIK MYSTERIO After the match, with his arm around Mami, Dominik challenges his father Rey to show up at Saturday Night’s Main Event because it’s time they settle this, once and for all. COMMERCIAL BREAK The announcers hype WrestleMania XL, just six weeks away. THE MIZ VS JOHN CENA © These two know each other extremely well and it shows in their performance. Miz tries everything in his bag of dirty tricks but he can’t keep Cena down for a three count. Miz grows frustrated, nearly getting disqualified while choking the champion. Slowly, Cena begins to build momentum with his traditional offensive set. Clotheslines, shoulder blocks, Five Knuckle Shuffle. Miz is in trouble and it doesn’t get any better when he’s put down with an Attitude Adjustment. RESULT: JOHN CENA RETAINS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL Cena gathers a mic and says he heard what Gunther said, so he wants him out here now because he has something to say too. Gunther walks out but stays in the aisle. Cena says that Gunther has a very high opinion of himself and you know, he deserves to. He is, without a doubt, the greatest Intercontinental Champion every that doesn’t mean he should think WrestleMania will be a cake walk because as long as Cena has breath in his body, he will fight, he will scrap, he will claw and he damn sure, will not give up. But there’s one thing Gunther was wrong about. Cena doesn’t believe Gunther is unbeatable. These people don’t believe Gunther is unbeatable and in Philadelphia, the world is going to remember why you should never count Cena out. The show ends with Cena celebrating with his fans as Gunther watches him, emotionless. Good Night from San Jose!

Pipers Pit
A recap video from Elimination Chamber is shown focusing on how Bianca Belair made the save when Charlotte Flair was attacked by Bayley and Asuka. We then see Gunther choosing John Cena, by attacking him, and then Roman Reigns beating down Cody Rhodes as the main events of WrestleMania are set. FEBRUARY WEEK 4 ALASKA AIRLINES ARENA SEATTLE, WA Michael Cole and Wade Barrett welcome us to Smackdown. They begin to talk about Elimination Chamber when suddenly….. The Bloodline comes down to the ring and the mood is celebratory. Soon-to-be Hall of Famer Paul Heyman introduces himself and talks up the most dominant faction in the history of pro wrestling. He then promotes Roman Reigns’ history-making journey and hands off the mic to the champ. Roman takes it and is about to tell the audience to acknowledge him but the crowd pops when new music is heard. The American Nightmare is here! Cody comes down to the ring, dressed to the nines. He says that now that we know who is facing who at WrestleMania he wanted to come here, to look Roman Reigns in the eyes and deliver a message. “You will not know a moment’s peace until I take that title from you in Philadelphia.” Roman obviously doesn’t like the sound of this but he motions for the Usos and Solo to stand down. Cody further says that Roman has gotten comfortable being the hunted for so long that he thinks nobody can ever become a successful hunter. No one is untouchable, no one stays at the top of the mountain forever, and make no mistake, Cody will finish the story which was interrupted last year in Los Angeles. So wherever Roman goes, whatever he does, when he hears a noise and looks over his shoulder, Cody will be standing right there. Cody drops the mic and leaves the ring to his own music as Roman watches him go up the aisle, and the jovial mood is gone. Following the commercial break, we’re shown a replay of Cody Rhodes telling Roman Reigns he’ll be on his trail all the way to WrestleMania. CHRIS BEY AND CHARLIE DEMPSEY VS AOP W/WILLIAM REGAL The AOP shows dominance in this quick and brutal match. After bludgeoning their opponents for several minutes, they end it with the Final Chapter. RESULT: AOP WINS BY PINFALL Cole and Barrett show a video from Elimination Chamber of the First Blood match between LA Knight and Karrion Kross and they highlight where LA Knight tweaked something in his left knee. They are unsure when he will be medically cleared to compete. Backstage, the Brawling Brutes are walking along when they run smack into the AOP. The four men come nose to nose, neither side wanting to move aside, until William Regal guides his men to the side. No one takes their eyes off the others and as they pass like two ships in the night, the tension is palpable. BIANCA BELAIR VS CORA JADE Cora puts up a fight and even gets a couple of pinfall attempts. Bianca feeds off the crowd and once she stops Cora with a powerful forearm, she shows off her strength and power for the rest of the match, eventually hitting the KOD for the win. RESULT: BIANCA BELAIR WINS BY PINFALL Bianca is celebrating her win when Asuka and Bayley hit the ring, looking for revenge for Bianca’s interference at Elimination Chamber. They don’t get to double team her for long. Charlotte Flair comes running down to the ring and once it evens up, it doesn’t take long for Flair and Belair to get the upper hand and send Asuka and Bayley packing. After a moment of tension, Charlotte and Bianca shake hands and the Queen gets a mic. She says that it appears there needs to be a proper ass kicking given out so how about at Saturday Night’s Main Event, it’s Asuka and Bayley against her and Bianca. The heels accept and we have a huge tag match to look forward to. The OC is walking backstage but they stop short. The camera pans over and we see why. Lashley says that AJ will answer for what he did in Perth. Luke Gallows steps up and says if Lashley has a problem, they can settle it in the ring. Lashley gives a little grin and says he’ll see him out there. LUKE GALLOWS W/AJ STYLES AND KARL ANDERSON VS BOBBY LASHLEY Gallows tries to match Lashley’s power and he is no slouch, but Lashley is fueled by a desire for revenge and he hammers the OC’s muscle from one corner to the other as AJ and Anderson watch from the outside. After delivering a big spinebuster, Lashley delivers a Dominator and when he pins Gallows, he’s keeping constant eye contact with Styles. RESULT: BOBBY LASHLEY WINS BY PINFALL Lashley gets up and takes a few steps towards the ropes, causing AJ to step back. Styles doesn’t look like he’s inclined to get close to Lashley tonight. Kayla Braxton is backstage with Rey Mysterio. She talks about his match tonight versus Solo Sikoa but she has to ask if he’ll accept the challenge of his son to show up at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rey considers and says he had hoped he had put the problems with Dominik in the past but after the Royal Rumble and now this…..yes, he’ll be there. ZELINA VEGA VS TAMINA W/NAOMI Tamina bullies Zelina around and Naomi helps her by distracting the referee to allow Tamina to continue a choke. Zelina makes a comeback based on her speed advantage and she has Tamina on her heels. Naomi gets on the apron to distract Zelina and it works for a moment. Tamina charges her from behind but Zelina moves, and Tamina collides with Naomi. Tamina staggers back and Zelina rolls her up for a three count. RESULT: ZELINA VEGA WINS BY PINFALL Cole and Barrett announce the second inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024. In Gorilla, Paul Heyman is whispering orders and advice to Solo Sikoa. The main event is next! REY MYSTERIO VS SOLO SIKOA Rey frustrates Solo early on with hit and run tactics, and the younger Bloodline enforcer makes several unforced errors. Rey goes for a springboard back elbow but Solo catches him in mid air and viciously rams him into the corner. From there, Solo shows no mercy on the Hall of Famer. The referee tries to get Solo to back off but Sikoa throws him across the ring and goes back to the attack. The referee weakly calls for the bell. RESULT: REY MYSTERIO WINS BY DISQUALIFICATION Solo isn’t stopping and signals that he’s going for the Samoan Spike but the crowd begins to stir. Keith Lee, Sikoa’s recent adversary, runs down and the two begin brawling around ringside. Slowly they work their way up the aisle to the tron screen. Solo jumps on Lee’s back and is going to go for the spike. Lee puts it in reverse before Solo can strike and the two of them go through the screen on the bottom right. The crowd and announcers pop for this as referees and medical staff flood into the hole to check on them. Michael Cole tells us they’re up against the end of the show. Tune in next week and watch WWE social media for updates to this incredible ending!

Kimberly
Becky Lynch arrives at the building, pulling her case behind her. She looks to the camera with a smile and announces the Man has come back to San…. Ronda Rousey runs into the scene, blasting Becky from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. Becky falls hard, and Ronda is on top of her quickly, punching down into the back of her head and it’s clear Lynch is out cold. Officials rush in and force Rousey away as Ronda smirks and calls out to Becky to keep her name out of her mouth. The camera zooms in on Becky as the officials try and talk to her. March Week 1 Frost Bank Center San Antonio, TX Backstage the show opens with the World Tag Team Champions in a silent staredown with the Judgment Day. Balor says if Owens and Zayn are unaware, the Judgment Day run Monday Night Raw, and since they are the champions, Balor will allow them to choose which two members of the Judgment Day will become the new World Tag Team Champions tonight. “Why stop at two?” Matt Riddle enters the scene and stands next to the champs. He suggests they make it three on three tonight. The Judgment Day weren’t expecting this but Priest nods and says tonight it’ll be fun to drop all three of them. As Judgment Day leaves the scene, Owens and Zayn shake hands with Riddle. WES LEE VS BRONSON REED W/THE MIZ Lee and Reed are already in the ring as the bell rings and the announcers welcome us to an already hostile Monday evening. Reed is a monster in this, swatting Lee out of the air like a monster swatting an airplane. The Miz is all smiles on the outside as Reed dominates, finally squashing Lee with the Tsunami. RESULT: BRONSON REED WINS BY PINFALL The Miz waits for Lee to begin to get up and nails him with the Skull Crushing Finale, then orders Reed to hit another Tsunami. He raises his monster’s arm as we go to commercial. COMMERCIAL BREAK Stephanie McMahon is in her office with the Viking Raiders, New Day and DIY. She says beginning next week we’ll see a round robin tournament with the three teams all facing each other over the coming weeks. If one team can go 2-0, they’ll face the World Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania. All six men eye one another with confidence.. LIV MORGAN VS RHEA RIPLEY Liv always tries her hardest but Rhea didn’t lie in her earlier social media. She’s in a foul mood and pummels Liv throughout the match showing off both her power and sinister nature. Liv keeps trying to get to her feet to fight but Rhea just keeps knocking her back down until she ends it with the Riptide. RESULT: RHEA RIPLEY WINS BY PINFALL The announcers inform us of the next inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024 The World’s Most Dangerous Man…Ken Shamrock! COMMERCIAL BREAK We go to a pre-recorded interview conducted by Corey Graves. He asks Gunther about choosing John Cena for his WrestleMania opponent. Gunther says it was an easy decision. He is in the best shape of his life. He’s in the best place mentally as a warrior in his life. Cena was a great champion, he was the face of the WWE for over a decade. But that time is over. Gunther is the future. The Ring General will walk into Philadelphia and he will break the legend of John Cena once and for all. He will show the world that this part-time over-the-hill legend does not belong in the squared circle any longer. He’s older, he’s weaker. Gunther will break his body and will break his spirit. This isn’t personal, but this is about legacy. No one will impede the legacy of the Ring General. COMMERCIAL BREAK DREW MCINTYRE W/MARIA KANELLIS VS SHINSUKE NAKAMURA A great match which goes back and forth between McIntyre’s power and Nakamura’s strong style striking. Both men have long period of offense but can’t put the other down for three. The end comes when Nakamura is setting up for the Kinshasa but Maria makes a swipe for his leg out of sight of both the referee and McIntyre. Nakamura turns, pointing at her to stay out of the way and when he turns around, he catches a Claymore in the face. RESULT: DREW MCINTYRE WINS BY PINFALL Maria enters the ring and gives McIntyre a big hug and kiss on the cheek. From the camera angle we see that at the beginning of the aisle, Rex Steiner stands with his arms folded looking very unhappy. COMMERCIAL BREAK Backstage Byron Saxton is standing by with Cody Rhdoes. He asks Cody about showing up at Smackdown and Cody said he means what he said. Roman is now the hunted. Every move he makes, every town he goes to, every vacation he takes, Cody will be there. And in Philly, he WILL finish his story. EMMA VS KAIRI SANE A good match between evenly matched opponents. Emma works a strategy to ground Kairi, but eventually you can’t keep a good pirate down. Kairi begins building momentum, dropping Emma with a series of quick kicks, followed by a headscissor driving Emma’s head into the mat. Kairi goes to the top and flies with the Insane Elbow for the win. RESULT: KAIRI SANE WINS BY PINFALL Kairi doesn’t even get to celebrate her win before Carmella comes into the ring and blindsides her. Kairi doesn’t have time to react before Carmella hits the Mella Buster, leaving Kairi down in the middle of the ring as we go to break. COMMERCIAL BREAK We’re introduced to the official theme song of WrestleMania. THE JUDGMENT DAY VS KEVIN OWENS, SAMI ZAYN AND MATT RIDDLE A very physical match that sees everyone in the ring at some point by the time the match is half over. Judgment Day is lagging a little bit and it’s then that Mami comes down to the ring to cheer her men on and give them some direction. It works for a short period as they isolate Zayn and put a beating on him. Rhea is especially happy when Dom is in and doing well. Her eyes are on her man and she’s not paying attention. Ronda Rousey runs down and grabs Rhea, throwing her face first into the post. Rhea slumps down in front of ring steps and Ronda follows up with a running knee to the face. Ronda is so full of herself, she doesn’t pay attention to the crowd popping. Becky Lynch storms down the aisle and goes right for Rousey. She gets in a few hits before the two begin brawling around the ring. Dom has hopped out of the ring to check on Rhea and Sami makes the hot tag to Riddle. Riddle is a machine, showing how good he can be against both Balor and Priest. KO gets the tag and brings Dom back into the ring. Meanwhile, Sami hits a running leap over the top rope, taking out Balor and Priest. KO hits the stunner on Dom and makes the cover for the win. RESULT: KEVIN OWENS, SAMI ZAYN AND MATT RIDDLE WIN BY PINFALL As the referee is counting, Randy Orton jumps the barrier behind the time keeper, grabs a chair, and smacks Riddle across the back. Riddle falls off the apron and Randy keeps attacking him with the chair. As the show ends, Becky and Ronda are being pulled apart, medical staff are checking on Rhea, Orton is wearing out a chair on Riddle until Kevin Owens runs him off. It is chaos here at ringside we’re still five weeks from WrestleMania! What the hell will happen next week? Good Night from San Antonio!

Pipers Pit
A video of last week is shown, highlighted by Asuka ands Bayley attacking Bianca. Charlotte Flair makes the save and a tag team challenge for Saturday Night’s Main Event is made. We then see the end of the show where Keith Lee and Solo Sikoa brawl up the aisle before they both crash through the tron screen. March Week 1 Desert Diamond Arena Glendale, AZ A black SUV pulls up in the parking garage and the WWE Tag Team Champions get out, quickly met by the Wiseman. He says that he knows they have the wellbeing of their brother on their mind but they need to concentrate because they’re defending those titles tonight against the Rough Riders. Jimmy says Solo will bounce back in no time. Jey says tonight they’ll defend these titles for him and for the Tribal Chief. Heyman follows them into the building with a grin. The Brand, fresh off their vacation come down to the ring, impossibly full of themselves. McAfee says that we’re not far from the biggest WrestleMania of all time and this year the Brand will put their stamp on it! But first, is the return of Saturday Night’s Main Event and the greatest United States Champion of all time is feeling pretty good, had some sun, had some fun, and now it’s time to get back to work. So if there is anyone back there who thinks they can stand in front of the champ, he has an open spot on our dance card in two weeks. Their smirks stop when they see who’s headed to the ring. The Bruiserweight marches down and gets into the ring. He says he will gladly accept the open challenge and in two weeks he’s not only going to win that United States Championship, he’s going to break every bone in Paul’s body. The Brand almost look like they’re going to attack, but McAfee ushers them out of the ring, saying that the champ doesn’t fight for free. Dunne is left in the ring looking hungry. NAOMI VS ZELINA VEGA Naomi wants to get revenge for Zelina’s victory over Tamina and in the early going she’s on pace to do it but she gets a little too cocky and Zelina connects with a knee right under the jaw. Naomi is stunned and Zelina follows up with a bulldog before hitting a lionsault off the second rope for the win. RESULT: ZELINA VEGA WINS BY PINFALL Backstage Adam Pearce is about to walk into his office when he’s stopped by MVP who asks if he has a minute to discuss business. Pearce welcomes him in and the door closes behind them. In their locker room, the OC is psyching up Karl Anderson. Following Lashley’s victory last week over Gallows, Anderson signed up to redeem their reputation. The match is next! BOBBY LASHLEY VS KARL ANDERSON W/LUKE GALLOWS Anderson, who Barrett refers to as the Buddy Jack Roberts of the OC starts quick, trying to chop Lashley down with kicks and punches, dropping Lashley to a knee. But when Anderson bounds off the ropes, Lashley explodes upwards with a spear. Gallows gets on the apron, but Lashley blasts him with a running forearm. Turning back to Anderson, Lashley flattens him with several power moves before locking in the Hurt Lock and getting a very quick submission. RESULT: BOBBY LASHLEY WINS BY SUBMISSION Lashley gets his arm raised but he doesn’t see AJ Styles on the apron, or at least we don’t think he does. When AJ flies off with a Phenomenal Forearm, Lashley catches him in mid air. Before he can deliver a spinebuster, the Good Brothers are on him and soon it’s a three on one beatdown. Lashley is Almighty but he’s getting hit from all sides and in a few moments, it’s the OC standing over him, hitting the group Too Sweet over his body. Carmelo Hayes is in his locker room when MVP walks in. Hayes says he doesn’t want to talk to MVP after what he did, sending Omos to attack Ilja Dragunov. MVP says he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, Omos did that on his own, he even went out there to stop him. BUt what he does want to talk about is next week because he got Carmelo a match next week on Smackdown and the winner of that match will be in line for a future United States Championship match, a title that’s near and dear to MVP’s heart. Hayes considers and then tells MVP to tell him more. REY MYSTERIO AND SANTOS ESCOBAR VS THE BRAWLING BRUTES High flying and fast lucha action against pure brutality. Sheamus and Holland keep Rey bottlenecked in their corner and beat the hell out of him but when he makes the tag to Santos, the match turns. Escobar is non-stop action, sending Sheamus off the apron with a flying forearm. Rey tags back in, and Holland gets put into perfect position for the 619 that ends the match. RESULT: REY MYSTERIO AND SANTOS ESCOBAR WIN BY PINFALL The Brawling Brutes, disappointed with their loss, gather themselves and leave the ring but half way up the aisle they’re attacked by the AOP. William Regal watches on with a cagey grin as Akam and Rezar make quick work of the Brutes, sending them into the barriers, before nailing the Last Chapter in the aisle. Sheamus and Ridge are down and hurt as the AOP loom over them. Paul Heyman is backstage on his phone. By his side of the conversation it’s clear he’s talking to Roman Reigns. “I know…I know, yes my Tribal Chief, whatever you say. I’ll make all the arran…..” From out of the scene, someone takes the phone right out of Heyman’s hands. When he sees who, he pales, his mouth hanging open. “Hey Roman, long time no see. Yea, it’s me. I just wanted to say hello and to let you know that whenever you come back, I’ll be waiting.” Cody tosses the phone back to Heyman who nearly drops it. He watches Cody walk away until he’s snapped back into reality and begins apologizing to Roman. LACEY EVANS VS IYO SKY Lacey grinds Iyo down in the early going with a mixture of wear down holds and stiff strikes, but Iyo keeps kicking out. Lacey makes a crucial mistake by missing a charge into the corner which opens the door for Iyo to make a comeback. She flattens Lacey with a pinpoint missile dropkick from the top before soaring off the top again with a moonsault for the win. RESULT: IYO SKY WINS BY PINFALL We go to a pre-taped segment from the Snake Pit. Asuka is tracing her finger along the back of a large python as Bayley does her best not to show too much fear. Bayley says that Charlotte and Bianca walked right into their trap. It’s going to be hard for them to fight for the WWE Women’s Championship when neither of them are in any shape for a match. Asuak smiles, showing off blackened teeth. She says nobody is ready for the Empress of Darkness and hands Bayley a snake who accepts it with extreme caution. THE ROUGH RIDERS VS THE USOS © W/PAUL HEYMAN The Usos hold the early advantage with smooth tags but Storm is a ring vet and he turns the tables on them with some brawling. Grimes gets in and for a few minutes the champs look to be in trouble with a few close calls. The Usos regroup and take control back doing what they do best. They draw Grimes into the ring and while the referee gets him out they double team Storm to the point he’s flat on his back, Jey tags in, and Jimmy takes out Grimes on the apron. Jey goes to the top and hits a splash for the win. RESULT: THE USOS RETAIN THE WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL We cut to the backstage and the Brand is all over Pete Dunne. Dunne is putting up a fight and for a moment is holding his own…until Logan Paul runs in and bashes him in the back of the head with the US Championship. Dunne drops like a rock and Theory and Waller begin stomping him as McAfee directs traffic. As the show ends, Cole and Barrett question if Dunne realizes what he’s gotten himself into. Kimberly
We’re shown a replay of the end of last week where there was nothing but chaos around the ring. We then cut to a live shot outside the arena as a long black SUV pulls up. The back doors open….. The Tribal Chief and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns along with his Wiseman Paul Heyman are here on RAW! They walk into the building as the credits begin. March Week 2 Toyota Center Houston, TX We open backstage in Gorilla where Stephanie McMahon is standing between Rhea Ripley and Ronda Rousey with a hand on each of their chests, keeping them apart. Rhea demands to be made the number one contender for WrestleMania. Rousey scoffs at that, saying she’s the one who deserves the spot and taunts Rhea about sending her into the post last week. Rhea takes a step forward but Stephanie shouts for her to stop. Stephanie says that next week at Saturday Night’s Main Event she will announce who is facing Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. Until then, if either of them attacks the other, her choice will be much easier. Just as they both take a breath…. Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch strolls past them, her title in the air, on her way to the ring as her music plays. She gives the trio a smirk as she vanishes through the curtain. Ripley and Rousey both take a half step but McMahon stops them again. “Don’t!” NATALYA VS BECKY LYNCH © A great back and forth match in which Natalya pushes Lynch to her limits, but no matter what is thrown at her, Becky battles back. She begins wearing down Natalya’s arm and as soon as the opportunity presents itself, she locks in the DisArmHer and Natalya has nowhere to go and submits. RESULT: BECKY LYNCH RETAINS THE WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BY SUBMISSION Following the match Becky is in a good mood. She says back there, Rhea Ripley wants to face her. Ronda Rousey wants to face her. Well whether it’s Mami or Whiney Ronda, one thing is for sure. The Man is headed into WrestleMania as the Women’s World Champion and she’s walking out the same! COMMERCIAL BREAK Backstage, Gunther and Roman Reigns meet up and shake hands. They both show one another the duplicate envelopes they received inviting them to a special announcement tonight. Neither have any idea what its about but they suspect they know who sent the letters. A spotlight vignette focused on Zoey Stark is shown. We see her working out and dominating an opponent in a ring at the Performance Center. In the voice over she says she’s tired of being overlooked and passed over. She’s done waiting for an opportunity. Now, she’ll take what she wants. JD MCDONAGH VS REX STEINER No sooner than the bell rings, Steiner spears McDonagh nearly out of his shoes. Steiner looks to be all business as he hits several various suplexes and power moves, ragdolling McDonagh before he hits a Steinerline lariat for the win. RESULT: REX STEINER WINS BY PINFALL COMMERCIAL BREAK Backstage Carmella, Chelsea Green and Emma are hanging out with Starbucks cups and knock-off designer purses. Carmella says next Saturday they’ll send Kairi back where she belongs and then it’s just a matter of time before one of them takes out Becky Lynch. Then they’ll all be Women’s World Champion! The Miz approaches Dominik Mysterio backstage and says he has the perfect venue for his showdown with his deadbeat dad on Saturday Night’s Main Event…..the most must-see talk show in the WWE….MizTV. Dom grins and they shake hands. COMMERCIAL BREAK We see the graphic for RNN and then we see Randy Orton wearing a suit and tie, sitting behind a desk. “Breaking news tonight here on Monday Night Raw.” A picture of Matt Riddle is shown. “Matt Riddle ... .is a bitch.” Orton taps the papers in his hand against the desk to straighten them. “More on this developing story, right here, on R..N…N.” ALPHA ACADEMY VS THE MIZ AND BRONSON REED Gable and Otis have it going early on until the Miz gets Reed involved and the Aussie Kaiju shows off his strength by flinging Gable halfway across the ring and then blasting Otis off the apron. From there Miz and Reed control the rest of the match and it ends with a titanic Tsunami on Otis. RESULT: THE MIZ AND BRONSON REED WIN BY PINFALL COMMERCIAL BREAK Backstage Big E comes face to face with Drew McIntyre and Maria Kanellis. There’s a few moments of silence before McIntyre offers a hand and Big E shakes it. Drew says he has more respect for Big E than just about anyone in the locker room, but at Saturday Night’s Main Event, he’s gotta do whatever it takes to win that title. Big E nods and says he’d expect nothing less. They part ways but behind McIntyre’s back, Maria is staring daggers at Big E. CARMELLA VS CANDICE LARAE Carmella shows off why she’s dangerous in the ring using a mix of cheap shots and viciousness. She handles Candice throughout the match and ends it by locking in the code of silence. RESULT: CARMELLA WINS BY SUBMISSION COMMERCIAL BREAK Vic Joseph and Corey Graves hype Wrestlemania and the two big men’s world title matches. ROUND ROBIN MATCH #1 THE NEW DAY VS THE VIKING RAIDERS W/VALHALLA The New Day are one of the best teams ever and it shows as they avoid the pitfalls of being the smaller team and keep Erik and Ivar on the defense with quick tags and legal double teams but that only lasts so long. When Ivar nearly takes off Woods’ head with a clothesline, the Raiders pummel him in the corner until he can’t even stand. Just as he’s about to make the hot tag, Erik rips Kofi off the apron and rams him into the ring post. With no one to help, Woods is beaten down again until they deliver the Viking Experience. RESULT: THE VIKING RAIDERS WIN BY PINFALL We see Cody Rhodes and John Cena walking side by side backstage. They’re grinning like the cat that ate the canary. They’ll be in the ring….next! COMMERCIAL BREAK World Heavyweight Champion John Cena comes out first. Cody Rhodes is fast behind him. Cody gets a mic and says he and John sent out two special invitations to their WrestleMania opponents inviting them to be here on RAW for something special. He asks them to come on down to the ring. Gunther is the first and he enters the ring with Cena and Rhodes without fear, though he does look discerning about what they have planned. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and his Wiseman walk down to the ring. Roman is much more suspicious of what’s going on but he tries not to show it. Cody thanks them for showing up. He says everyone knows when these two matches happen in Philadelphia they will be two of the biggest matches of all time, at the biggest WrestleMania of all time. But at the Elimination Chamber, they took a short cut. They blindsided he and John and it was pretty clear it was a setup. Gunther and Roman feign ignorance of any set up. Cena says that there is one last stop on the Road to WrestleMania and that is next Saturday night in Nashville, Tennessee. He and Cody have done some talking and they’re wondering if Gunther and Roman wouldn’t mind showing up at Saturday Night’s Main Event for a little tag team match. Well, that’s a lie, it might be the biggest tag team match in WWE history! Gunther says he has nothing to prove to Cena or these people. Roman agrees, saying his contract clearly doesn’t stipulate he needs to be anywhere. Cody says he thought Roman was the Tribal Chief but he must have confused it with another word that starts with the letter ‘C’. Roman is hot and Heyman tries to calm him down. Cena says that means it’s down to Lurch, but if the Ring General is too of a ….C….of course he means clown…PG boys and girls…..he guesses he and Cody misjudged them and the ass kicking will have to wait for Philly. Roman is still furious and says he’ll be there. Gunther examines the situation and nods, but promises that if this happens, Cena won’t make it to WrestleMania, and will only have himself to blame! All four men stand face to face, shoulder to shoulder with their apparent teammate, and Graves says this is indeed the biggest tag match ever. The show ends with all four men talking trash to each other but we can’t hear what they’re saying. Good Night from Houston! Pipers Pit
We begin the show live in the back as Joaquin Wilde is being loaded into an ambulance. The other members of the LWO are both worried and angry. Santos tells Rey he needs to make Dominik pay for this. March Week 2 American Airlines Center Dallas, TX The World Tag Team Champions come down to the ring. Jimmy says tonight they will find out who their opponents at WrestleMania will be. But the fact is, since Day One, it don’t matter who it is. AOP? “Don’t matter,” according to Jey. Rough Riders? “Don’t matter” Good Brothers? “Don’t matter” Pretty Deadly? “Don’t matter” And then…the Street Profits. “Especially don’t matter” Jimmy says whoever wins enjoy it, cause in Philly, these titles aren’t going anywhere because they are….the Ones! They put their fingers in the air as we go to break. MICHIN AND IYO SKY VS NAOMI AND TAMINA Iyo controls the early going until Naomi gets in a cheap shot behind the ref’s back. From there the Bloodline girls hold the momentum. Michin tags in and does well until Tamina stops her with a superkick, flooring her, which leads to a Superfly Splash as Naomi grabs Iyo and rams her into the announcer’s table. RESULT: NAOMI AND TAMINA WIN BY PINFALL Adam Pearce is in his office with Keith Lee when Paul Heyman walks in. Pearce questions where Solo is, but Heyman says on behalf of the Tribal Chief and the Bloodline, he thought it would be less….destructive if Solo didn’t come with him. Pearce can’t really argue that. He says that what’s happened between Lee and Solo is literally tearing Smackdown apart so it needs to be settled. That’s why at WrestleMania they will go one on one. Heyman takes this in, then offers a hand to Lee who shakes it. Heyman tells Lee that he has Heyman’s condolences before walking out. Kayla Braxton is standing by with Pete Dunne, whose forehead is bandaged following last week’s attack by the Brand. She asks him how he is, and Dunne says he’s breathing and that’s enough. Dunne says nothing the Brand did last week did anything but show how afraid they are and to be honest they have reason to be. He rips off the bandage and smacks himself in the wound, which opens up a little. He says if he was them he’d be afraid of what he’s going to do to Logan Paul too. CARMELO HAYES VS ILJA DRAGUNOV A great matchup which goes back and forth as these two give their all. It’s clear there is a respect between them. In the middle of the match, they collide with mutual running forearms. Dragunov falls near the ropes and that’s when MVP arrives on the scene. With the referee checking on Hayes, MVP jabs his cane into the throat of Dragunov behind everyone’s back. Hayes gets up, and goes to the top. Dragunov is in perfect position and he hits Nothing But Net and goes for the pin. RESULT: CARMELO HAYES WINS BY PINFALL The bell rings and Hayes is joined in the ring by MVP who gathers a mic and proclaims him the number one contender for the United States Championship, but they’re not alone for long. LA Knight comes down to the ring and he says he doesn’t care what either of them think, he isn’t going to sit back there and watch someone take what belongs to him. He tells Hayes if he wants to call his shot, he’s gotta put the Mega Star down for a 1-2-3 but that will never happen. Hayes and Knight go nose to nose, both nodding and talking some trash we can’t hear but neither is backing down. The AOP is warming up for the gauntlet match tonight as Regal looks on with approval. A moment later, a familiar face pops up behind Regal. Truth asks Regal if Demolition is ready to fight tonight and win those 24/7 Universal Television Tag Team Titles. Regal is dismayed at his presence and tells him they’re busy. Truth apologizes to “Mr. Belvedere” and leaves them alone with Regal shaking his head. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett introduce us to the next member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024. The First Lady of the WWE, Miss Elizabeth. BAYLEY VS GIGI DOLIN Bayley controls the match with Gigi getting in only random offense. Bayley continually badmouths both Charlotte and Bianca during the match, asking aloud if they’re paying attention. She ends it with a Roseplant. RESULT: BAYLEY WINS BY PINFALL Bobby Lashley is alone with a camera. He says he put down Luke Gallows. Then he put down Karl Anderson. But the OC did what they always do. They used their numbers, but they didn’t get the job done. Lashley says the Almighty wants the Phenomenal One at WrestleMania one on one and we’ll see who is the best of the Generation. AUSTIN MORRIS VS KARRION KROSS W/SCARLETT Kross is quick and brutal. He holds nothing back, punishing his local opponent for several minutes, before Kross puts him face down on the mat and throws a dozen forearms into the back of his head and then locks in the KrossJacket. The referee checks and calls for the bell. RESULT: KARRION KROSS WINS BY STOPPAGE Scarlett reaches into her purse and pulls out a tarot card and hands it to Kross through the ropes. We can see it’s the Death card. He plants it on the chest of his still fallen opponent without so much as a smile. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett run down the Smackdown card for WrestleMania as it exists right now. Next, the announcers tell us Adam Pearce has made it official! Next week, LA Knight versus Carmelo Hayes to face Logan Paul for the United States Championship at WrestleMania. TAG TEAM GAUNTLET MATCH FOR #1 CONTENDERS THE STREET PROFITS VS THE ROUGH RIDERS These two teams begin the gauntlet and it goes back and forth, with both sides getting in equal offense. The Street Profits begin building some momentum and when Dawkins spinebusters Storm, Ford tags in and hits the frog splash for the win. The Good Brothers are our next and hold the early advantage. The Profits show some wear and tear from their first match and it’s not looking good as Ford is put in place for the Magic Killer, but Dawkins spears Anderson from the side. This causes Ford to drop and roll forward and he pulls Gallows with him into a rollup for a three count. Pretty Deadly is next and they waste no time in jumping the Profits before they even know who’s coming down. Prince and Wilson hit Spilt Milk on Ford but at the very last second, Dawkins breaks it up. Dawkins gets the tag and overpowers both opponents, letting Ford recover. Prince goes for a crossbody block but Dawkins catches him and spins him around in a powerslam. Ford soars again with another frog splash and get score a win but the Profits look exhausted. And it doesn’t get any easier. AOP stalks down the aisle like lions going to a buffet. When they get in, they beat the living hell out of the Profits. However when they go for the Last Chapter, the referee is caught in between the dual powerbombs. The Brawling Brutes jump the barrier and hit the ring, brawling with Akam and Rezar. In short order, Ridge takes Akam to the outside and Sheamus hits Rezar with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus puts Dawkins on top and rouses the referee who counts to three to Regal’s fury. RESULT: THE STREET PROFITS WIN THE GAUNTLET AND BECOME NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS. The Street Profits celebrate their hard fought victory until the Usos come down to the ring. The teams go face to face in the middle of the ring and a show-ending staredown begins with the Usos raising their titles in the air. Kimberly
We’re shown a highlight of last week when Cody Rhodes and John Cena challenged Gunther and Roman Reigns to a huge tag team match at Saturday Night’s Main Event this Saturday. March Week 3 PNC Arena Raleigh, NC The Judgment Day comes down to the ring. Rhea is the first to talk, giving a not-so-subtle warning to Stephanie McMahon that she had better be the person chosen to challenge Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. Next, Dominik gets the mic and after a few extended moments of booing from the crowd, talks about how this Saturday he will be face to face with his deadbeat dad and he’s going to put an end to the Mysterio civil war. Finally, Finn takes the mic and says he and Damian are tired of waiting. They want Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and they want them, tonight and if they don’t get what they want, there will be hell to pay. ZOEY STARK AND PIPER NIVEN VS KATANA CHANCE AND KAYDEN CARTER Chance and Carter are a solid team but that does not do them a lot of good this week against Niven’s power and Stark’s aggression. For their part, Niven and Stark show some good tag skills as well, and when Chance is avalanched in the corner by NIven, it’s an easy pinfall. RESULT: ZOEY STARK AND PIPER NIVEN WIN BY PINFALL Byron Saxton catches up to Intercontinental Champion Big E. The Champ, using a preacher tone, says this Saturday is his greatest challenge yet but he knows, with the power of positivity behind him, he can meet and overcome and keep rising up the mountain. Saxton wishes him good luck as they part ways. COMMERCIAL BREAK A vignette spotlighting Rex Steiner is shown. Clips of him playing football, then some of the most devastating moves in the ring. In the voice over Steiner says he is the future of the WWE and anyone who thinks differently will learn the hard way. MATT RIDDLE VS DREW GULAK Gulak is a very skilled technical worker but Riddle shows a level of aggression that Gulak can’t keep up with. Gulak tries to cover and protect himself from the strikes until he makes a mistake and allows Riddle to lock in a choke and drop to the mat. Gulak quickly submits. RESULT: MATT RIDDLE WINS BY SUBMISSION Stephanie McMahon steps out of her office, followed by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. She thanks them for stepping up tonight, and Owens says it’s no problem, he’s always happy to hit someone in the face. As Owens walks off, Zayn gives a small nod and says that’s no lie. COMMERCIAL BREAK DIY VS THE NEW DAY A great tag match between two sets of specialists. The advantage goes back and forth with several close falls, each broken up at the last second. The New Day is fighting for their lives, having already lost to the Viking Raiders. Woods takes a risk and goes to the top, but when he tries a missile dropkick, Gargano sidesteps and immediately puts him in the Gargano Escape. Kofi tries to intercede, but Ciampa moves him into the far corner and holds him there until Woods submits. RESULT: DIY WINS BY SUBMISSION Vic Joseph and Corey Graves introduce us to the latest inductees to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024….the awesome Demolition. COMMERCIAL BREAK A vignette of Cody Rhodes working out at his home gym is shown. Cody says this Saturday is the appetizer but WrestleMania is the entree. He’s waited a year for this, and he learned many lessons. He won’t lose again! Byron Saxton is backstage with Kairi Sane. He says this might be her last night on RAW if Saturday doesn’t go her way. Kairi says she didn’t come back to be thrown aside and she didn’t come back to lose to someone like Carmella. This Saturday she will send all three of them out to sea! COMMERCIAL BREAK LIV MORGAN VS NIKKI CROSS Nikki starts fast, overwhelming Liv with a frantic offense but Liv weathers the storm and waits for an opportunity. That chance comes when Nikki tries an elbow drop off the second rope but Liv moves. Morgan goes on the offense, using her speed and tenacity, finally hitting ObLIVion for the win. RESULT: LIV MORGAN WINS BY PINFALL We see a camera following the Viking Raiders backstage when they suddenly burst into the locker room of DIY and attack. Gargano is thrown head first into a metal locker before they swarm Ciampa. With DIY down, Vic Joseph questions if they’ll be healthy enough in next week’s winner take all match for the Number One Tag Contender’s spot at WrestleMania. John Cena is seen walking out of Stephanie McMahon’s office. Far behind him at the end of the wallway we see the Ring General, looming in the background. COMMERCIAL BREAK Vic Joseph and Corey Graves hype Saturday Night’s Main Event. Saturday Night’s Main event is live THIS SATURDAY and only on FOX. FINN BALOR AND DAMIAN PRIEST VS KEVIN OWENS AND SAMI ZAYN © A big clash and the Judgment Day corner Sami and go to town on him. KO keeps trying to get in the ring but when the referee moves him out, it allows Balor and Priest to take cheap shots. Owens finally gets in and begins to take over, running around and hitting anyone he can. He brawls with Priest for several minutes but Balor makes a blind tag and chop blocks Owens. Balor continues working the leg and with more double teams Priest is tangled with Sami on the outside and has the referee’s attention as Balot goes to the top but the crowd pops. Seth Rollins has run down the aisle and he shoves Balor off the top, causing him to crash into the mat. Priest sees this and gives chase to Rollins. This allows Owens to tag in Zayn. Balor pulls himself up in his corner but Priest isn’t there. When he turns around he catches a Heluva Kick int he face. Zayn makes the cover. 1-2-3! RESULT: KEVIN OWENS AND SAMI ZAYN RETAIN THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP BY PINFALL We go to the backstage where John Cena is seated, unconscious, and bleeding. Gunther stands behind him, holding Cena’s head up. Gunther has a satisfied smile as he looks at the camera. “This is your champion.” He lets Cena go and he slumps to the concrete floor. “This was…your champion.” As the camera pans down to Cena, the announcers can be heard speaking to themselves in hushed tones, “how in the hell will Cena be able to fight on Saturday?” The show fades to black.
