Pacific Coast Wrestling: bringing royalty back to the US

Recommended Posts

PCW.jpg

Founded in the Pacific Northwest, Pacific Coast Wrestling is a place that is showcasing an American Puro product that features stiff strikes and painful submissions very similar to traditional Japanese wrestling. PCW also adopt a touring schedule unlike most US wrestling companies that operate year-round. Owned by Alexander Robinson, PCW had been heavly inluence by PGHW in it style but allso having a friendly relationship with they, meaning excursion options for its "Young Lions" and a trading agreement. Still remain to be seen if a company like that could survive in american soil, but PCW counts with eneough backing to be an important player in the indie scene.

PD: hey there everyone! It´s my first take on a diary, but im having a few good runs with companies in the Lavelleuk databe, that i decide to give it a try. As i´m kind of a noob in this, i expect to have difficulties. But i also want to get more confortable and creative with this. I hope you´ll enjoy it 🙂

        THE OWNER

               Alexander Robinson King Bison.jpg

Alexander Robinson is best known for his fantastic run with PGHW where he and partner Lee Bennett held their tag titles a record five times, the joint highest in the company's history. After fifteen years of great work in the East, Robinson and Bennett returned home to Canada, joining NOTBPW. After three solid years on the roster Lee Bennett decided it was time to retire, and with NOTBPW not interested in pushing Robinson solo he was released. A month later he showed up on the FCW roster and later in the year he returned to Japan with INSPIRES. Neither run was very memorable, he was too unknown in Puerto Rico and too broken down for the INSPIRES style, so in 2019 he called an end to his in-ring career too. He has been helping out on colour commentary or as a road agent on small shows post-retirement. Not been fullfil enough, he used his ties in PGHW to try to recreate the same style in the US, with the help of fellow PGHW alummni like his tag partner Lee Bennett o Lee Wright.

PCW TITLES

BBPW American Puro Heavyweight

BBPW Heavyweight.jpg

The BBPW American Puro Heavyweight championship is fought for in very hard-hitting bouts. Treated with utterly respect, it´s the main focus of the big shows of PCW.

Current champion: Bradley Blaze

BBPW American Puro Tag Team

The BBPW American Puro Tag Team championship looks to emulate the Japanese tag team scene, which is notoriously very strong.
