Would it be an upset?

Well, I don't win two in the same week and TK in this universe seems to love Peak of Perfection so it would be...

I think you've put these the wrong way round as you have tag for the trios and trios for the tag, so I'll switch them. :)

PRE SHOW
The Gunns beat Top Flight in 9:19 when Colten pinned Dante with a 3:10 to Yuma. 51

DYNAMITE
Wednesday, week 4, April 2024
Center Gervais Auto, Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada (4,125 capacity)
Announcers: Excalibur, Taz & Tony Schiavone

We start the show outside a locker room marked Steve Austin. Austin opens the door, beer can in hand. Austin says he is happy... happy because The Elite had an ass kicking at The Big Gamble as Drew Galloway beat Adam Page... now he can look forward to having some more Elite asses being kicked... and Kenny Omega walks up to Austin's locker room door... not long back from injury, Omega seems to have left The Elite and has been at Austin's side... and sure enough Austin invites Omega into his locker room to "discuss Omega's proposal"... Austin then shuts the door on the camera man. 68

SatnamSingh.jpg.81b8df5404d3e8298fcf145686edd0e3.jpgSting.jpg.97a1e690293ef37b8c038c175ab47d14.jpg v TheButcher(2).jpg.64dcf848825c9b59071e20243a41708c.jpgBandido2.jpg.cd7b308caa76c34b0ee29a5a9382beae.jpg
AEW LEAGUE
The Spooky Club ('One In A Billion' Satnam Singh (with Sonjay Dutt) & 'The Icon' Sting) v Team WooItsNathan (The Butcher & Bandido)

The Butcher looked pretty good here but tagging in Bandido turned out to be a mistake, as all that happened for the next couple of minutes was the giant Singh throwing the far smaller Bandido around the ring, until the inevitable happened and The Spooky Club won in 4:45 when Singh submitted Bandido. 30
Singh performed worse than everybody else (20, next worst Sting 39)
Singh and Sting have zero chemistry.

We go to the backstage interview area where Alex Marvez is with the new Women's World champion Jamie Hayter and the woman who lost the belt without being pinned at The Big Gamble, 'Timeless' Toni Storm. Her half of the screen with Luther and Mariah May is in black and white. Marvez says he has a scoop... at Double or Nothing Jamie Hayter will defend her newly won Women's World Championship against the number one ranked contender... 'Timeless' Toni Storm... Storm says he is number one as she didn't get pinned so it's not fair she's not champion... Hayter says while she didn't beat Storm, she did win the title... and she will beat Storm at Double or Nothing. 45
Hayter benefitted from public support.

NylaRose.jpg.4c68e52ecbb622dd43bd7af319e0a9ec.jpg v WillowNightingale9.jpg.d1fc4a1d1e516a32ba5f481d293074a0.jpg
'The Native Beast' Nyla Rose (with Marina Shafir) v Willow Nightingale (with Kris Statlander)
A mediocre match saw Nightingale just about get the better of the former Women's World champion, pinned Rose in 9:01 with a Fisherman's Suplex. 50

We return to the backstage interview area where Renee Paquette is with the new TNT champion, Adam Copeland. Renee congratulates Copeland on winning the TNT Championship at The Big Gamble... Copeland thanks Renee and says it was brutal, he knew it would be... and he knew Cage would go to any length and use as much help as he could, so he came up with a plan... he thanks Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard for their help... going forward... Copeland says he needs this week he has league action but next week The Cope Open will return where every week on one of AEW's shows, he will defend the TNT Championship against anybody willing to step up and have their shot... "Man up" he tells the locker room. 69

AkiraTozawa.jpg.96ba368fbd8cc301b5613c951caf610c.jpg v KyleFletcher17.jpg.88e6aab86ab6b6b0bbb6e72f974f6b54.jpg
Akira Tozawa v Kyle Fletcher (with Don Callis)
The AEW debut of Akira Tozawa, the former WWE Cruiserweight champion. It was a decent match and decent debut, though Tozawa was largely outwrestled by Fletcher. Despite this, Tozawa still managed to win in 10:42 by pinfall with a Deadlift German Suplex. 62
Fletcher outperformed Tozawa 61-51.

We are back in the backstage interview area and Lexy Nair has her AEW League report and she is with The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society. Eddie Kingston said last week went great with two wins... Bryan Danielson said he is delighted to beat Sami Zayn and be standing here as the new AEW World champion... and Jon Moxley says he and Danielson will not only beat Will Ospreay and Matt Cardona on Collision... they are going to hurt them. 63

SamoaJoe.jpg.8f7b923a9813f42ffff78a9aabff9703.jpgSwerveStrickland(1).jpg.773a83545f3e5e98108b0849c5d81087.jpg v AdamCopeland.jpg.63e5442b610963202c8ef223adafc540.jpgKonosukeTakeshita.jpg.d190ff4a0736179cb51be3d8ac80eafc.jpg
AEW LEAGUE
Team Swerve (Samoa Joe & Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana)) v Black Lotus ('Rated R Superstar' Adam Copeland (TNT champion) & Konosuke Takeshita (with Don Callis))

A very good match between two even teams, though you can tell that Copeland was suffering a little after the brutal I Quit match this past Sunday night. This was probably a factor in the outcome as Team Swerve took the points in 12:32 when Strickland pinned Takeshita with a Swerve Stomp. 71

The backstage interview area is a busy place tonight as we see Alex Marvez standing with new World champion Bryan Danielson and Will Ospreay. Marvez says he has another scoop... and announces that at Double or Nothing, the number one ranked contender Will Opsreay will challenge the new World champion Bryan Danielson... Ospreay has a big grin appear across his face... he says he has dreamed for the time for him to be World champion... and "I know I will beat you bruv"... Danielson retorts by saying he is the best technical wrestler active today and he is the new World champion because he is the best of where the best wrestle. 61

Latin American Xchange (with Konnan) v 'CEO' Mercedes Moné, Hikaru Shida & Riho
The new women of LAX take on a trio of former Women's World champions (Moné of course elsewhere) and of course Rosa is a former champion herself. It was a really good match, perhaps surprising some how good it was. It was the trio of former champions who were triumphant in 7:39 when Moné submitted Diamanté with a Bank Statement. 65
Diamanté seemed off her game.

Backstage we go again and now we have Renee Paquette with Sami Zayn. Paquette says off the back of Sami's win over Chris Jericho at The Big Game, what next..? Zayn says he is excited to be in the AEW League, he's never known anything like it in wrestling and a lot of people want to come to AEW to be a part of it... he's going to work hard and kick ass so his team Timeless Ensemble can pick up more points and win the league. 67

AEW LEAGUE
TV Network ('Aerial Assassin' Will Ospreay, Johnny TV & Matt Cardona) v The Golden Lion Club (Claudio Castagnoli (World Trios champion) & Lucha Brothers (World Tag Team champions, with Alex Abrahantes))

A very good contest where Fénix was again outstanding and Cardona struggled with his more illustrious contempories. Against the run of the match we saw an upset win, especially as it is TV Network's first trios win in five attempts. It came in 10:49 when Ospreay won for TV Network, pinned Castagnoli with a Storm Breaker. 72
Fénix outperformed everybody else (86, next best Castagnoli 75)
Cardona performed worse than everybody else (52, next worst Ospreay 65)

We are at the production table where Tony Khan is with Samoa Joe and Mercedes Moné. Khan says as already announced, the number one ranked contenders have championship matches at Double or Nothing and also on the next AEW pay per view will be two Casino Battle Royals, one for the men and one for the women, where the winner will get World Championship matches... but things will be slightly different... this time there will be 22 wrestlers in each match... there will be the usual aces, clubs, diamonds and spades... wrestlers ranked 3 through to 7 will be aces and will be the fourth suit to enter the match... and the wrestlers ranked 2, who are Samoa Joe and Mercedes Moné, will enter last as the Joker alongside a new Wild Card, who will be a surprise wrestler from outside of AEW. The crowd love this, as Joe and Moné like having an advantage that their ranking has earned. 69

AEW LEAGUE
Timeless Ensemble ('Best Bout Machine' Kenny Omega) v The Peak of Perfection (MJF)

A superb match, a great way to end a very good show. Both men gave their all, both men came close to winning. Time ticked by, MJF locked the Salt of the Earth on Omega, who escaped by reaching the ropes with around 19 minutes on the clock. Omega managed to recover enough to mount a comeback and with adrenaline rushing and the crowd on their feet, he lifted up MJF for the One Winged Angel...

DING DING DING

A twenty minute time limit draw so one point for each team. Omega drops MJF to the mat in anguish as some of the crowd boo the non conclusion and others give the two a standing ovation for a cracking match. 77 - match of the night
Omega 87, MJF 77
Omega and MJF have great chemistry.

RAMPAGE
Wednesday, week 4, April 2024
Broadcast on Friday, week 4, April 2024
Center Gervais Auto, Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada (4,125 capacity)
Announce team: Don Callis, Excalibur & Paul Wight

Renee Paquette starts the show with the TBS champion Ruby Soho. Renee asks Ruby for her thoughts on tonight’s main event… Ruby says that she beat Kris Statlander this past Sunday night to retain her title and tonight she will beat her again to advance to the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Quarter Finals. 54

Julia Hart (with Brody King & Skye Blue) v Billie Starkz
Not the best of matches to start the show, Hart won despite having less of the match in 7:25 by pinfall. 44

Rosemary is in the boiler room of the Center Gervais Auto. From there she challenges Marina Shafir to a match next week on Rampage. 59

Dark Order v Jake Hager, ‘Cool Hang Ang’ Angelo Parker & ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard
The crowd were quite into this, though the action in the ring wasn’t quite up to how much they were. Dark Order took this trios contest in 8:42 when Uno pinned Menard with a Reverse Piledriver. 48

Kris Statlander is now backstage with Renee Paquette. Renee asks Kris for her reaction to Ruby Soho’s comments earlier… Kris said it was a fluke on Sunday… tonight won’t be as she’ll get her revenge, the win and a rematch for the TBS Championship. 63
Statlander benefitted from public support.

OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN’S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND
Matt Hardy v Matt Cardona

Excalibur said on commentary that it should have been Pac facing Matt Hardy in the First Round. However, due to Pac’s long term entry, he has been replaced by the first man AEW signed in 2024, Matt Cardona.
Cardona should have won the match, however a mistake from him allowed Hardy to take the spoils in 10:21 by pinfall with a Twist of Fate. 45

Backstage we see Naturally Limitless in the locker room. Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee challenge Men of the Year to face them next week. Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky accept. 47

COLLISION
Saturday, week 4, April 2024
Colisee Vidéoton, Trois-Rivéres, Quebec, Canada (4,390 capacity)
Announcers: Nigel McGuinness, Taz & Tony Schiavone

We start Collision in the ring, where Kenny Omega comes out. One of the three EVPs says he has an announcement to make and he asks Steve Austin to come to the ring... Austin does so and he shakes Omega's hand... Omega says there is a big problem and that problem is The Elite... he says he never thought he would say this... but The Elite need to come out of All Elite Wrestling... and he says that Steve Austin knows how to stand up to authority and hates The Elite... so Austin can help Omega and Omega can help Austin... Austin says The Elite are jackasses and they are going to have some extra special, extra big cans of whoop ass opened up on them... and that's the bottom line... cos Steve Austin said so... The Elite are seen watching on a monitor backstage, looking angry. 76

AEW LEAGUE
Timeless Ensemble ('Timeless' Toni Storm (with Luther) & Jordynne Grace) v Team WooItsNathan (Anna Jay & Diamanté)

A short and one sided contest that went with form. Timeless Ensemble got about as comfortable a league win as you are likely to see in 5:55 when Grace pinned Jay with a Fall From Grace. 50

Backstage and with Renee Paquette are Darby Allin and Sting. Sting says they are the number one ranked tag team... Darby says they are having their rematch at Double or Nothing... Sting says this time it will be different, they are getting their titles back. 56

FTW CHAMPIONSHIP
Hook (champion) v Buddy Matthews (with Julia Hart)

An even but not particularly interesting match despite being a mixture of usual wrestling and weapon based action. The trouble was, there was nothing anybody hadn't seen before and it lacked excitement. Hook managed to retain in 12:15 by submission with a Redrum. 51
Hook and Matthews have great chemistry.

Alex Marvez is backstage with Samoa Joe. Marvez asks the former World champion for his thoughts following the Casino Battle Royal announcement on Wednesday night... Joe says that usually he'd be furious if somebody labelled him as The Joker... but one this one and one only occasion he's happy with it... since he will enter the Casino Battle Royal last with the mystery Wild Card and gives him the best chance of winning the title shot and getting his World Championship back. 48

Don Callis Family (with Don Callis) v FTR & Mark Briscoe
A decent match, a significant improvement on what came before. FTR and Briscoe just about had more of the match and with the crowd firmly behind the Sandy Hook native, he used their support to propel him to the win, it coming in 12:30 when Briscoe pinned Hobbs with a Froggy Bow. 65
Briscoe benefitted from public support.

Lexy Nair is with The Spooky Club... Malakai Black has the mic and says he's doing the talking this time round... he's used to The House always wins... and he's sick of The Club always losing... so next time somebody loses in the club, they're going to have to visit The House... Sting squares up to the Dutch star, and tells Black that we're a team... we win together... we lose together... we fight together... and if you don't like it, you can go through the door and back to your House. 54

ThunderRosa4.jpg.97bffe9144407313c2dd74c89f72100e.jpg v JamieHayter.jpg.9460b97fdf4c2b634487df3f0a6bb104.jpg
AEW LEAGUE
The Peak of Perfection (Thunder Rosa) v Black Lotus (Jamie Hayter (Women's World champion))

The newly crowned Women's World champion had her first match since winning the championship back and she faced a tough match against a former champion in Thunder Rosa. Sure enough, this match was keenly contested with Rosa as expected not only being tough to put away, but also having chances to win herself. The champ got the win though in 11:54 by pinfall with a Falcon Arrow. Decent match. 61
Hayter benefitted from public support.

Still on a league theme we are backstage with Lexy Nair. She has the men of Timeless Ensemble with her and she announces them as the number one ranked trio in AEW and therefore will receive a World Trios Championship match at Double or Nothing... Darby Allin says he already has a World Tag Team Championship match with Sting, so Kenny Omega, Orange Cassidy and Sami Zayn will be the three to challenge for the titles at the next pay per view... Omega and Zayn bump fists while Cassidy does his sloth style thumbs up like only he does. 73

MercedesMon(5).jpg.b20d47a6be6c4f2d23fa326ee581a223.jpg v RubySoho3.jpg.0c619cfbdc321395526f9b96c8b221ae.jpg
AEW LEAGUE
Team Swerve ('CEO' Mercedes Moné) v The Golden Lion Club (Ruby Soho (TBS champion))

Soho may have won the TBS Championship fairly recently but here she was outwrestled by her opponent. She hung in for as long as she could, but Moné was simply too good with the win arriving in 13:22 by submission with a Bank Statement. 63
Moné far out performed Soho 68-48

Renee Paquette is backstage with Drew Galloway. Renee talks about Double or Nothing and Galloway's win over Adam Page... Drew says it couldn't have gone any better, he's beaten a former AEW World champion... now he's looking forward and he has his eyes on the big prize, hinting about entering the Casino Battle Royal but not actually saying it. 62

WillOspreay.jpg.fd8e19c41db65824ae3ffe25394bae76.jpgMattCardona(1).jpg.6d4e7d998a9bf50106c16b3f691824f4.jpg v JonMoxley16.jpg.70d583f2a2e146e4be33ef7318f4feaf.jpgBryanDanielson14.jpg.16232d7d92c1486564a9dee90a36b7b2.jpg
AEW LEAGUE
TV Network ('Aerial Assassin' Will Ospreay & Matt Cardona) v The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society (Jon Moxley & 'American Dragon' Bryan Danielson (World champion))

The opponents in the Double or Nothing World Championship match on opposing teams in an AEW League match, an enticing prospect. The match didn't disappoint as some of the action was great. The winners were also expected as the Blackpool Combat Club pairing won for their league team in 11:26 when Danielson pinned Cardona with a Busaiko Knee. 71
Moxley and Danielson have great chemistry.

Chris Jericho is in a locker room fit for a star with all manner of creature comforts in it. However he doesn't look happy... in fact he looks pissed off... and he says he is saying he is pissed off that he lost his open challenge at Double or Nothing to Sami Zayn... and he's going to channel his anger towards Double or Nothing where he is targeting the Casino Battle Royal. 47

MJF14.jpg.c091f2dea64d4c44a6ef442106cd43ac.jpg v SwerveStrickland(1).jpg.c92734df5159cf0ebda7874a92d4224a.jpg
MJF v Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana)
An outstanding match between two top level competitors that can not only wrestle, but thoroughly entertain while they do so. The two went back and forth with pinfalls and submissions and MJF added some light entertainment on occasion as well, which Swerve played up to really well. When the chips were down though, MJF prevailed in 17:01 by submission with Salt Of The Earth as both men emerged from the match with a lot of credit. 82 - match of the night
