The four riders of the apocolypse There is only so much a man can take. Only so many times you can clean toilets or flip burgers for minimum wage before you snap. With no qualifications there is never a good time for this to happen, but happen it inevitably will and did on this a hot a sweaty august afternoon thats exactly what i did, i told my boss what i thought of him and stormed out. Believe it or not that was the easy part! Telling my wife what i had done, now that was going to be a challenge, but tell her i did and after a very long heart to heart she calmed down until i told her what i was doing next. Dawn: "What do you mean your gonna be a wrestler?" Lee-James: "i mean im gonna be a pro wrestler, you know tights, suplexe's, chairshots all that business" Dawn: "im not Deaf Lee, but you can't wrestle and we have no money, how are we gonna survive? No ones gonna employ you, get real." Lee-James: "someone already has!" Dawn: "what?" Lee-James: "yep, turns out there is a shortage of hungry fighters in England at the moment and i did a bit of sparring with a few people and i have a couple of pay-per-win deals lined up already!" Dawn: "Just one problem, how the hell are you gonna win anything. You would struggle fighting a 12 year old girl by yourself" Lee-James: "well thats the thing you see love, im not going to exactly be by myself!" Dawn: "how do you mean?" Lee-James "Terry, Matt and Mick are all signed up to!" and in that instant the 4 riders of the apocalypse were born... Lee-James Bovey (Panix Storm) Mick Solecki (Mickey "Flash" Reynolds) Matt Rook (Jaffa) Terry Bovey(Gringo)
this is kind of a unique diary as i am controlling one character, Panix and trying to get him to the top but i am also going to try to take my team of friends with me. Panix is a RTL realistic character, whereas the other 3 stable mates were generated with poor stats and put into KSW before the start of the game. Will this band of no-hope, yard tards make it to the WWE? Or will they struggle to get a win between them? This diary will be completely kayfabe and all the "diary talk" will be wrapped in quotes. Enjoy!
The damn creative team here at KSW, who do they think they are? sure i maybe a little bit more popular but why does that mean i cant have one of my friends as a tag partner? Oh well i guess i cant complain too much as they have given me a title shot on my debut! Get in! Thats right tonight i go one on one with Nick Mace for the great british title and whats more there is two and a half grand on the line! I'm pretty sad to see Jaffa and Gringo on the card but Mickey makes his debut tonight against Big Bad Donaghan so a win there might help him claw his way up the card a bit! If i can put a few wins together hopefully i can get a creative control clause put in and then i will be teaming with my amigos! KSW Unholy Mickey "flash" Reynolds Vs. A tough debut for my good friend Mick facing the intimidating looking donoghan. I watched from the back in the locker room and he didnt look at all out of place in the ring. Im actually pretty frightened that i won't live up to his standards! He managed to pick up the win as well! Landing several high offence moves to pick up the victory! 1-0 to the riders! Winner Mick Solecki Panix Vs. Nick Mace for the great british title Vs. The crowd boo'ed lowdly as Nick cage made his way to the ring, c0cky and confident that he was going to pick up the win against me. He stood in the ring and got on the mic and spent a minute telling the crowd he was upset he had to waste his energy on a lowlife country bumpkin. He was cut off buy the opening chords of third eye blind's "semi charmed kinda life" and i hit the ring all fired up, i was met with a right hand to the head that was so powerful it almost sent me back up the ramp i had just come down. Any notions of me having a fairytale debut seemed daft as Cage went to work on me after an offensless 5 minutes i looked like i was done, no momentum and no energy and surely no way back. Perhaps i would have been better suited to a regular day job after all, then out of the corner of my eye , i spotted her, my darling wife crying at ring side and that b*****d taunting her! Something snapped inside me and i unleashed on Cage all of a sudden this was a two horse race again as i threw every move in my arsenal at him, which to be fair is only really punches, but hell it works for John Cena right? I honestly thought i had him beat, but unfortunatly he got a second wind. I was dazed and confused and i saw him stooped ready to hit a big move in the split second before he charged me i had a moment of clarity, i swerved to the side as he approached me at pace and caught him with a DDT. I knew the only way to beat this guy was to use my wait to my advantage and out of no-where i managed to drop my backside on him, which left him stunned and helpless to counter the pin! Winner and new british champion in 10 minutes Panix Storm (rating D)
I cant believe Panix took the title on his debut! What a great result! And Mick won his match-up as well which is awesome! I had signed panix up with a couple of other feds, but im tempted to cancel those contracts and make myself a star at KSW first. What do you guys think? Incidentally i began the task of building my clique! I managed to nail a stronge friendship with Jaffa already!
Sunday 14th June 2006 Having decided to stick things out with 3 feds (purely a money based decision) I was handed the rough end of the stick with a match up against the promising Darren Burridge. I had heard this kid was tough and was going to be difficult to beat, but no-one had expected me to overcome Nick Mace and i did that. I think thos bout could shape my decision on wether my future lays with KSW or in as many feds as i can get work. 'cos if i cant beat the guys in these higher tier feds the £160 im getting paid is not worth the dent to my popluarity! People expecting Burridge to walk over me may have been dis-appointed as the match got off to an even start with neither of us being able to take control after several minutes of back-and-forth wrestling, Burridge finally took it up a notch and began to dominate proceedings as was to be expected. At one point during the match it looked very bleak for me burridge had me knocked senseless after some fine chain wrestling. Fortunatly i was able to fight back and hit my Butt drop which had won me the british title just last week, but that wasn't enought to put away Burridge who continued to counter everything i threw at him. However lady luck was on my side once again as i followed up a stiff forearm with a devastating face crusher and Burridge was done! Winner in 19:40 Panix Rating: C+
Can't really complain about 2 wins from 2 can i? I need to start improving my stats though, i got lucky against Burridge and he took me to the limit, hopefully a few more title matches in KSW will provide me the cash i need to start making Panix really competitve.
Monday 15th June 2006 Apparantly 1PW think enough of me to include me on there "in to the fire" card. They have told me it will be a nice easy fight against a lower midcarder so that should be fine, what do they mean im fighting Colt Cabana? Are they crazy? He's gonna murder me! This kid is far tougher than me, i have only had 2 fights for Pete's sake! I can see my unbeaten run ending here! 1PW In to the fire Panix Vs. The match kicked off and i actually felt prett confident coming off the back of a couple of wins, i dropped him to the ground with an early Suplex and took advantage of his grounded state by pounding on him, i then picked him up ready to continue the assult - big mistake, Cobana was fired up and started unloading on me with big right hands, i tried to shrug them off but Colt was just too powerful for me. After taking quite a beating i managed to avoid a legdrop and fortunatly i was still feeling ok. I decided my best chance of winning this thing may well be to keep him grounded, unfortuantly that seemd to be flawed as well as he dodged my atmpted "swing move" by slipping out of it, but i have been on fire of late and landed a DDT, Colt was reeling and i was sure i had the beating of him he clambered top his feet again, BAM another DDT followed up by dropping my considerably large backside on the c0cky youngster and amazingly i got the pinfall. The fans hated it, but i had just squashed Colt Cabana! Winner in 3:30 Panix Rating: F
What a cracking result! Panix is 3 for 0 now! I decided to spend a good portion of my hard earned cash on a skill upgrade a 5% boost on my power and a 5% boost on my basic which are pretty low at the moment. My power jumped from D to C-
Thursday 4th Jluy 2006 As suprised as i was to recieve a debut title shot at KSW, i am slightly less suprised to be defending at against one of the top draws at KSW Ulf Herman. He is a bit long in the tooth at the tender age of 40, but he is still pretty useful by all acounts and keeping hold of my title is going to be tough! But i reckon if i can beat Ulf and keep hold of it i am going to be KSW champ for a long, long time, another bonus is defending my title means that the pot for this match is $2587 even if i lose i get $500! there is also good news for my 'stable mates' who are all in action on tonights card. Mickey Flash teams with Rob Long to take on the experienced Wyld Chaos, can Mick make it 2 out of 2? Jaffa debuts against Nick Mace, who i have a pinfall victory over, so perhaps i can give him a bit of advice on how best to approach the bout. Gringo ties up with Cupid Valentino who may well be the only wrestler on the roster that competes with Gringo's self obssesed streak! KSW One step away Gringo Vs. Cupid Valentino Vs. Gringo "the minority hater" kicked off his wrestling career with a match-up against Cupid Valentino, it is well documented that since he joined the company gringo has had a lot of problems with Valentino. This led to a fairly one-sisded bout which Gringo eventually won using his Finisher the Gringo drop. I was so proud of my little brother, he really went to town on Valentino and hopefully that will boost his position on the card a little bit. Winner: Gringo Nick Mace Vs. Jaffa Vs. Jaffa has always fancied himself as more of a tag team specialist and that was evident today as he struggled to come to terms with the talented Mace. Mace had almost beaten me last month and Jaffa really didn't stand a chance against him despite a late, spirited rally Jaffa lost his competitve debut. Winner Nick Mace Rob Long and Mickey "flash Reynolds Vs. Wyld Chaos Vs. A chance for Mickey flash to build on his opening victory was capaqtilised on by young Mickey "flash". He showed great cohesion and teamwork in his partnership with Long. And eventually the pair picked up the victory. Winner: Mickey "flash" Reynolds and Rob Long Panix Vs. Ulf Herman for Great British title Vs. I was all fired up going in to the match, maybe it was the prospect of earning 2 grand! But i hit the ring and unloaded on Ulf pushing him over my head with the back body drop, i folled that up with a choke before catapulting him into the corner were i worked him over and wore him down considerably. Ulf soon countered my offense and we exchanged blows for a while but Ulf's experience was beggening to shine through as he started dominating the match a couple of high impact moves left me tired and stunned. I saw him poised ready to hit the three point stance, but as he charged at me i lifted him up by thew waist and dropped him throat first onto the ring rope. As Ulf landed i managed to plant him with a running Butt drop and to my suprise the match was over! Winner in 4:20 Panix Rating: F
Well i must admit i am delighted with that card! 4 matches 3 wins, not too shabby for the 4 riders! Mick has managed to make significant progress up the card as well, he is now a lower mid-carder! I seem to be doing great at the moment and the money from title matches really comes in handy! I can afford another skill boost (big one on basics i think) now and still live a satisfactory lifestyle!
Saturday 20th July 2006 I'm an idiot! expecting to get booked by both 1PW and FWA i spent most of this months budget, meaning i have to win to cover my lifestyle cost's for this month. Which wouldn't be so bad apart from the fact i am taking on the tough homocide! Physically he is far superior to me. But perhaps tactically i have the edge. Still making it 5 out of 5 is going to be tough! My silver lining is that Darren Burridge holds a victory over him and although he took me to the limit i still managed a win over Burridge. Homocide Vs. Panix Vs. After a few early moves on Homocide he began to take the match too me, evey punch felt like it was delivered by a giant and every move seemed to take the wind from my sails, things were not going to plan. I needed to mount some offense and soon. After a few more hurrendously painful moves i seized my oppurtunity, Homocide ascended the turnbuckle and i fell into the ropes sending him cruth first on to the turnbuckle he was reeling and i tried to plant the DDT, but he blocked it, so i tried again and this time was relieved to hear the sound of head bouncing off of canvas. Unfortunatly it was not going to be enough to keep Homocide down as he managed to hit me with a backbreaker and ascend to the top turnbuckle. The last thing i remember is seeing him fly towards me. It was so close, but my un-beaten run has ended! Winner in 8:30 Homocide Rating:F
This sucks! That loss took my popularity down by 0.4%! Damn, thats gonna take 2 or 3 wins to regain! And im going to have to drop my lifestyle for this month. Never mind, hopefully a nice win in KSW will get me back on track!
A suprise schedule change meant that 1PW was first up this month and a suprise teaming with the man who ended my winning streak homicide. To be fair after last weeks peformance i'd rather be with him than against him! Also on our side is Colt Cabana of all people against Steve Corino, James Keenan and my nemesis Ulf Herman. There is a nice kitty involved here and a win would help me get back on track! 1PW Thunder Kiss 65 Panix, Cult Cobana and Homicide Vs. Homicide after a few back and forth exchanges with both guys showing off there technical skills with a boatload of reversals and counters, Homicide took control hitting a neckbreaker on Corino and trying to follow up with the camel clutch unfortunatly Steve had the presence of mind to slip out and made the tag to Herman. Herman went straight to work on the tiring Homicide following up a DDT with a punch flurry, but Homicide managed to counter a 3 point stance and began to show what he can do unloading on Ulf with big right hands and knocking him to the canvas with a well placed dropkick, this gave him the chance to make the tag to me! I was fired up due to last weeks defeat an unleashed on poor Ulf. i followed up a Big splash with an elbow drop and the picked up the tiring Herman. Hew was limp in my hands as i placed his head under my arm ready for the DDT but he still managed to block it. Fat lot of good it did him as my 2nd DDT atempt layed him out. One Butt drop later and my losing streak was over as quickly as it started! Winner in 7:20 Panix, Homicide and Colt Cabana
I looked on fire in this match! Big Ulf Herman just doesn't look like he can compete with me and i think i will be dominating KSW for a long time. 1PW is proving a little tougher, but as long as i keep improving my stats i think i can cement a midcard position there before long.
Saturday 20th August 2006 There comes a time in the life of any young wrestler when they have to choose between two shows. Apparantly that time is now! I have been offered a match against the Zebra kid by FWA but KSW have asked me to defend my title against Ulf Herman again. This is a suprisingly easy decision for me, firstly from a finiancial standpoint i know that facing Herman is going to pay well and secondly i have had his number twice. So the lower profile KSW get my services! Mickey "Flash" is also working for KSW tonight. He has a tough clash against the huge King Khan who sits fairly high up the card, this is a big oppurtunity for Mick and i think he knows it judging by how nervous he looked in the changing rooms. KSW Hell or high water Mickey "Flash" Reynolds Vs. If you look up ass kicking in the dictionary you may well see a picture of me beating on poor old Ulf. From the bell i tore into him and quickly wore him down till he was running on empty. Fair play he had me scoted and twice escaped my butt drop, but i countered his three point stance with a face crusher and the referees count out was a mere formality! Winner in 5:20 Panix Storm Rating:F
It was a shame that Mick lost but seeing the card position difference between the two its perhaps un-suprising. Panix however continues to impress, perhaps i should request a feud against Ulf, i know i can beat him and the money is good when my title is on the line.
Tuesday 2nd September 2006 Wrestling is a cut-throat business and no-one knows that better than Matt "Jaffa" Rook right now as KSW have released him from his contract, apparantly his recent match up against Nick Mace was a kind of trial bout and his poor peformance has seen him dumped by KSW. Im extremely upset about this turn of events! I wanted to tear up my contract on the spot but Steve Logan sat me down and explained a few things and i have decided to atleast see out my contract, the fact that im earning on average 2 grand a week and Mick and Gringo are still here is going to make any decisions about my future difficult to make!
...
Saturday 6th September 2006 another day, another match up against Colt Cabana. working KSW seems to be doing me good, i have won all my matches there thus far. However, FWA seems like a bit of a waste of space to me, im not getting used on there card and the moment i do im probably going to lose anyway. If i want to make it to the top i should really be looking to crack the american market. Wrestling is really strong there at the moment. So i gave my notice in with FWA and have signed a contract with APW, it is just a bog standard PPA deal, but it will give me a chance to show my wares in the states and i may even get to tie up against cheerleader Melissa!

Hopefully once im finished with him i will push him below me on the card! Incidentally, is anyone paying atention to this diary? Haven't had any real feedback as yet and its always nice to know if people are reading or not!
Thursday 25th September 2006 I was worried that trying to crack the US market was going to really hit my pocket what with air fares and the like, but when APW are offering me 80% of 2000 for the win it just may end up making me a bit of money! Im pretty stoked about my first match in APW against Puma, its going to be a toughie but i think i can take him. APW Hands of death Panix Storm Vs. Puma Vs. Going in to this match i knew i was in for a rough ride. Puma is probably the most popular worker on APW's roster due to his work with TNA and tonight i saw why as he tore into me from the get go. He was just so quick, he grounded me and hit me with a springboard move, im pretty sure it was an elbow but its really tough to tell when you face off someone who move's round the ring like this guy. I just couldn't seem to break up his offense and for the first 5 minutes i felt sure he was gooing to anihilate me. Fortunatly i had an ace up my sleeve after managing a couple of moves on Puma i picked him up off the deck, i placed his head ander my arm and twisted my body so we were back to back with his head resting on my shoulder. Then BANG i dropped to the floor and the 'Panic Attack' claimed its very first victim! Winner in 7:40 Panix Storm Rating: F
I really thought i would struggle to take out Puma, but luckily i had his number and once i hit a few big moves on him i knew he was mine for the taking. Despite the win i still remain at the bottom rung of the APW ladder! Oh well its early days yet!

Hell of a diary Hey you've got a nice little diary going on here. I just purchased Wrespi 2 today and am currently waiting for it to finish d/l. I read your diary and I like how it's going. Your rising up the card quick in KSW. You've had some tough matches but you've pulled through. Keep it up man. I'm going to keep readin this to see how you do. I'm going to start a diary too once the game is fully d/l. Hopefullly it's worth the 35 bucks I'm sure it will be TEW was definitely worth it. I'm going to do a Cornellverse diary first though because I know the rosters there better. Down the line I'll do a real world diary. Very good diary though I'll be reading and giving feedback. You should definitely try and sign to as many promotions as you can just so you can get some experience and more money. Good luck man...And don't go to WWE go to TNA it's better...IMHO.. have fun man

cheers for the feedback TdubTNA, hopefully it will be a bit more frequent for the next week or so, seeing as im not working on the real world data atm. By the way the game is worth every penny you pay for it! Your making a wise choice my friend!

no the 4 player is not an option, i set up the other 3 characters in the editor and put them in KSW. I have no influence on them whatsoever but if the chance arrises im going to make a tag team with them to help drag them up the card.
Friday 12th October 2006 Damn 1PW! Last time i tangled with Homicide i ended up on the business end of an ass kicking and now i have to tangle with him again? Im sure the booking team here has it in for me! 1PW Rest In Peace Panix Vs. Homicide Vs. I started out pretty cautious, after what happened in our previous bout thats unsuprising really! I hit him with a few punches and knocked him to the canvas, the idea being if i ground him he wouldn't be able to do any of the highflyinf offense which appers to be a bit of a chink in my armour. And it appeared to be working. Sure he was getting the odd punch in but i was keeping him firmly on the deck. I DDT'd him smashing his skull into the canvas and then picked up his limp body and hit the Panic attack. It was all over, wait he kicked out! How did he manage that? Doesn't matter, he wouldn't kick out a second time as i fell to the ground backside first i knew i'd put homicide out. The match was mine! Winner in 4:00 Panix Rating: E
Been a while since i plyed my diary game so it was nice to get a win! Shame there wasn't a big pot for the match, never mind eh? Should improve my UK overness!
Monday 15th October 2006 I can always really on KSW to pit me against my Nemesis Ulf Herman. Seriosly, you would think he would get tired of the beatings i constantly give him! Apparantly not! As for my amigo's Gringo is taking on tag team specialist Gremlin and Mickey is taking on Mizzery for the second time. KSW End Of Days Gringo Vs. Gremlin Vs. Gringo looked in great shape for his bout against Gremlin, unfortunatly he wasn't in good enough shape to overcome a numbers game, predictably Wolf got involved and distracted the referee long enough for Gremlin to make a steel chair count! Winner: Gremlin Mickey "flash" Reynlods Vs. Carl Mizzery Vs. Revenge was clearly on Mizzerys mind in this bout but he was to be denied by the on-fire Mickey "flash" who looks bang on form at the moment and is slowly creeping his way up the card currently lying in a respectable mid-card position. Winner: Mickey "flash" Reynlods Panix Vs. Ulf Herman Vs. Trying to gain the upperhand i stood in the ring taunting Ulf about the fact he hasn't beaten me yet, this may have proved a mistake as Ulf ignored my taunting and went straight for the kill unloading on me with everything in his considerable tank. Only a minute had gone but it felt like an hour, Ulf was putting me through the wringer and i knew it. I needed badly for him to mess up and inevitably he did. I was down and groggy on the deck after just taking some stiff punches and a headbutt, i saw him preparing for the legdrop and quickly nipped out the way leaving him and empty canvas to land on. I knew it was now or never as he was clearly in much better shape then me. So i grabbed his legs and catapulted him to the corner. I followed him there and started unloading on him with punch after punch. The crowd could sense the slight momentum shift and were really behind me as i picked him up, they knew what was coming as i grabbed his neck and prepared for the panic attack, unfortunatly he had it scouted and was able to counter me with a big back body drop. There was no way he was taking my strap from though and as he picked me up to try and attack me i managed to hit a knee smash. Doubled over in pain i knew i had him were i wanted him a 'panic attack' and a 3 count later and my arm was being raised. Ulf Herman just annot beat me! Winner in 6:10 Panix Rating: F
Another good win for Mickey "flash" and Panix, im a tad concerened about young Gringo's form - i dont wanna end up with just two riders!
