Tuesday 16th October 2006 APW up next and Sean Pulver who has an in-different record this year with 2 wins and 2 losses to his name. Im hoping i can add another digit in that L column! APW Happenstance Panix Storm Vs. Sean Pulver Vs. I could instantly see why Sean had been inconistent. He has so much potential there, but in the early going i found a lot of his stuff a little bit weak. I got the feeling that only a mistake on my part was going to cost me this bout, unfortunatly i can get clumsy, as i proved when atempting an elbow drop on the felled Pulver, in a moment out of the Ric Flair play book i missed with the elbow and Pulver took over! As i stumbled to my feet he tried to hit the facecrusher, but i managed to block it, a second time he tried but i was waitning for it and i caught him with a DDT, now was my chance, i picked him up and gave him a stern kick to the gut in preperation for the Panic attack. But he had it scouted and countered with a stern right hand. He threw me to the ropes i caught him with an uppercut and again tried the Panic Attack, but Pulver was having none of it! I was able to take control again with a suplex but i was beggining to wonder how to put this guy away! I decided to go back to basics and tried hitting the Butt drop on him, but he moved! After a few punches were exchanged he whipped me into the ropes and tried to follow up with a clothesline, but i countered him with a spear for a close two count. He stumbled to his feet and i was waiting for him, third time a charm the Panic attack connected! There was no way he was kicking out! Winner in 11:30 Panix Storm Rating: C
This was a really tough battle, i was dominating but i couldn't put him away! I have lost matches like this before! But a win was a fair result.
