Hello,

Been a big fan of WMMA since 3. And with the advent of AI art tools I thought it would be time for me to create my own Mod. I don't think this will ever be a full Mod. But I think I would like to at least show off some of the progress being made into the Mod just for fun. This opening post will be highlighting the first six Heavyweights I've made

"The Rotterdam Spire" Hans Hartog. The tallest fighter active currently pushing nearly 7 feet tall. His height alone makes him very marketable, despite his shyer demeanor. Excelling in Jiu-Jitsu and the ground game, his insane reach allows him easily to leverage his opponents to the ground. Though great critique is made about his striking game. Though does that matter if the opponent can't even throw punches if they're on the ground being choked out?

HansHartog.jpg.3a48518c0b4b6d723102c40383051415.jpg

"Tiny" Walter Smith. A great wrestler, and great on the ground. Smith is one of the best American mixed martial artists. Much to the chagrin of promoters due to his less then charismatic presence. Very much coming across as your neighbor's dad if he took up fighting. Though his deceptive demeanor lulls his opponents into a false sense of confidence before ground and pounded into submission

WalterSmith.jpg.72b29a951a9d0df4434cfb4998067c74.jpg

"The Moose" Grant Shaw. A Canadian brawler who is a jack of all trades and master of none. But God damn is he charismatic and relatable. Bunches in punches and known to press his opponent into a corner before dirty boxing like mad.

GrantShaw.jpg.3c605032f18fe1b9ab77715a768bb213.jpg

Nei "Coelho" Ximenez. A Brazilian with exceptional BJJ skills, looking to take his impressive talents beyond the Brazilian scene. One of the best BJJ practitioners, while below average in terms of striking he is still a formidable opponent.

NeiXimenez.jpg.a6d1dcb2577b839dd8b1acf244b54215.jpg

"The Overlord" Keith Taylor. An Australian Kick Boxer with great kicking power, diving into the MMA scene. A top ranked Australian kick boxer who made a few deep tournaments runs in Japan, though is transitioning into the MMA scene in Japan.

KeithTaylor.jpg.dd7f72fd908022d27d463cea8a2509ad.jpg

Hiromu Rikitake. A former gold medalist Judoka for Japan who after his gold medal accomplishments at the 2000 Olympics and has turned to MMA. Primed to be Japan's top star.

Zhenya "Veles" Volkova. Quite possibly the best Heavyweight in the world. a World-class Sambo competitor, with dabbling into judo, wrestling, and boxing. Can be seen as the first real "Mixed Martial Artist." However, one knock against him is a lack of an ability to kick. But, that doesn't mean they don't pack a punch.

ZhenyaVolkova.jpg.44061462855640864bc36968b0f71d63.jpg

"The Whale" Quincy Neilson. A veteran and pioneer of MMA. Once an impressive force which who could just apply pressure with his D2 wrestling skills until he applied a submission, age and the change in the MMA game seems that his time will soon come.

QuincyNeilson.jpg.ca28973f84751967673936d505692d10.jpg

"Nickle" Nathaniel Dunn. A former collegiate wrestler in the same vein as Neilson, however unlike the veteran the New York native has had the time to improve his striking game and not needing to solely rely on his wrestling skills.

NathanielDunn.jpg.15f88522fada96d4a66a087491b809f6.jpg

"Behemoth" Mason Thomson. A veteran of the UK MMA scene was one of the first to begin folding other martial arts into his repertoire in order to continue to stay ahead of his opponents. However, like Neilson time seems to have caught up with the South African.

MasonThomson.jpg.2414dbaa993e86d4233d94919df2f26f.jpg

"The Wisent" Wieslaw Tomczak. A Polish submission wrestler and possibly the best on the European continent with a bulldog like tenacity to keep competing. Deadly for his ability to hook in a nasty Arm Triangle Choke.

WieslawTomczak.jpg.fa9843bb48e79007dc5837e3e77ecca4.jpg

Garrett "Kahuna" Young. A Hawaiin Heavyweight with and an exceptional jack of all trades, and still having not even peaked. Known for his powerful overhand knock-out punch.

GarrettYoung.jpg.63796cf7c4c423686658bd44b079b9ee.jpg

Quint Newsome. An unassuming and underrated figure in the North American MMA scene. Despite his unconventional build, Newsome has one helluva a tank on him. Able to go much deeper into fights then some Heavyweight contemporaries.

QuintNewsome.jpg.e564c4a66b5a2614c665242eb5821973.jpg

Wade "Dub" Xavier. A world-class wrestler who has represented the United States wrestling team for many competitions. A multiple time gold and silver medal holder. Once he gets you on the ground you're done, his ground and pound game are unmatched.

"Regia" Igancio Iglesias: A Cuban-American Jiu-Jutsu who is a solid stalwart of the North American Heavyweight scene. However his high-profile fight days are past him, and his deteriorating chin won't see him as more than a gatekeeper to the main event.

IgnacioIglesias.jpg.a8d7a0e8387bda8b05b2b904ecc60883.jpg

Nick Nava: A former offensive lineman for the Dallas Outlaws who originally took up kickboxing as an off-season hobby before fully diving into MMA once his contract expired from the AFA.

NickNava.jpg.1acc80563f44cfe6934798cf4e4e13e1.jpg

"NOP" Noah Payne: A journeyman in the MMA scene. While not a top ten ranked talent, he can be handy for filling out a card and giving up and coming fighters a challenge. Plus his friendly outlook makes him an easy root for draw.

NoahPayne.jpg.2a84df0d691e0fe12ed551c25fa87f03.jpg

"The Latin Terror" Quill Yubeta: A glorified independent circuit fighter who will no doubt be a top five guy in smaller promotions but won't even get a look in for bigger promotions. A decent wrestler and intimidating look and not much else.

QuillYubeta.jpg.45ea15bf1766cc3bc7b1d9730cb570df.jpg

"The Green Bay Giant" Zach Ingles: A solid wrestler with some decent ground and pound. A great gatekeeper for any promotion looking to test younger fighters on a hot streak.

ZachIngles.jpg.3960e13a558bbc25212b5def4207872b.jpg

"The Badger" Isaac Yarborough: An English Heavyweight who began his career in the underground Bareknuckle scene but made a decent transition over to MMA. Loves to stand and bang and can take opponents down to apply pressure. But if he's taken down, he's a bit out of luck.

IsaacYarborough.jpg.67815bd88975640748054353c50fe474.jpg

"Big Rig" Gunner Danielsen: With well over one hundred fights under his belt, Danielsen is a great hand to have. While not a great striker, his wrestling game is top notch. Still has half a decade to give to the sport.

GunnerDanielsen.jpg.d43f60dc4a24645afdde66d07df9e5a7.jpg

"The Bronco" Xavier Gerwig: A great look, young, great wrestler. Gerwig is prime belt contender and possibly holder material if he can just improve on his striking a bit.

EK "EKO" Oswald: A good wrestler, with some decent ground and pound skills. Not too impressive in the stand up game.

EK_Oswald.jpg.8b3a7a792d1866c31e52ec6589a78700.jpg

"Bloodhound" Kevin Young: A veteran journeyman whose racked up most of his wins through his striking power alone, though easily susceptible to end up on his back, and on the losing end.

Kevin_Young.jpg.faa87c8f40dead4bc999beeab82d3f33.jpg

Shinji Rokugawa: Another Japanese heavyweight in the same vein as Hiromu. His judo skills have transferred greatly, and he's begun to develop decent striking skills to round himself out.

Shinji_Rokugawa.jpg.b0c2a8b70f2a1fa333299df81722371f.jpg

Ken "KY" Yancy: A fast-paced former kickboxer with great kicking and boxing skills with a surprisingly decent ground defense.

Ken_Yancy.jpg.efe56b62fb4a1abda158dbf725661a03.jpg

"The Compton Beast" Barry Cornel: One of the most surprising athletes of the heavyweight scene. Despite his unorthodox build has the ability to stand and bang with the best of them along with some decent wrestling.

Barry_Cornel.jpg.1c0afefc6583a2214a34f27d5ebf6a25.jpg

"The Sun-Tanned Superman" Gustavo Olivera: Above average striking ability combined with a solid chin, definitely a stereotype of the mid 90s MMA of those who could get by on decent striking.

Gustavo_Olivera.jpg.6d4b4a35617fef1af473b28b57ab0570.jpg

"The Celtic Crusher" George Connally: A great all-rounder who seems primed to at least be in any larger company's top ten once he reaches his prime and even a possible title holder if things go right for him.

George_Conally.jpg.8ba2fa2db7963cc59bc47cbff7f9982c.jpg

"Big Dick" Richard Lynn: Great bravado on the microphone and good charisma to be a draw, but at best is above average. Give him a few cans to build him up before being crushed in title fights.

Richard_Lynn.jpg.c0863d519d04e62e7d1cf602c15f9f78.jpg

Berislav "The Anaconda" Lazarenko: A Ukranian jujitsu competitor who represented the Ukranian national teams on many occasions bringing him the gold in many national and international competitions. Just don't ask him to try and strike.
