RobinS
This marks the end of the third year for me, and quite a few things have happened in my RTG adventure world. The CWA went bankrupt, and many talents scattered across different promotions on the continent. Given my current finances, I didn’t even attempt to offer contracts to their big names and instead settled for signing Lucy Stone-McFly and Jessica Conroy because my women’s division really needed reinforcements. Despite everything, they still won the Company and Event of the Year trophies. It’s quite strange for the former... 21CW is over 5 million in debt, but I haven’t seen any messages warning of their impending bankruptcy. So, we’ll see, though I don’t think they’ll make it through the year. On our side, Wrestleworld was open to negotiation. Out of the 4 events per month, I was only broadcasting one in the Tri-State area. As a result, we gained a lot of popularity in the last few months. I'm really tempted to move to a weekly TV show, but it makes me nervous after reading Bad Collin’s message. Signing everyone to written PPA contracts to prevent them from asking for raises in the coming year might help. Plus, I have a lot of creative ideas I’d like to implement, but I feel like I can't execute them properly without the framework of television. I was also a bit worried that there was an issue with the experience my character was gaining. It seemed to be stuck at 20 for a while... I rolled a 51 just now for the end of the year wish makes my happy. Still unsure what to pick between Mr.Finale and Big Match Specialist. I went for Mr. Finale when I had this choice. In my hours and hours of playing TEW, I think I've booked Epic, Spectacle, or Once in a Lifetime like... twice. Seemed more likely to hit on a yearly season finale than try to get those match aims to work.

And a super OP pop earning mechanism in the game. Before TEW 20, the indie feds have to slowly earn pop from doing a lot of shows in their home territories and let the pop spread throughout the nation. It's a slow process kinda like real life indie. With WW implemented, small feds can earn pop throughout the whole nation at a super high pace so a lot of feds (and their wrestlers) grow super fast compare to previous editions. 2 hours ago, MainOffender said: I went for Mr. Finale when I had this choice. Even the younglings without a lot of experience can hold their own in a Spectacle despite some minor penalties. I had to use them sometimes cuz of San Ring Circus' 3 match style requirement. I just wish that the AI did something with all the money they build up.
Self
Year 3 is over and it was a good one. Financially viable. Running several shows per month. Able to afford full 5-6 match cards, with tag teams and multi-mans and managers galore. For the first time it felt like I was running a real promotion. A little surprised to be in such excellent physical health. Lots of loooong hard hitting matches. Ended up on 22 popularity in Wales. Growth probably slowed down a little by having more shows with Normal ticket prices. WrestleWorld GB isn't too far away, but as I don't see the point of expanding my popularity outward into other areas yet. I'll continue to focus on Wales for 2025, and maybe look at streaming in 2026. Who are you guys picking to train your avatar? The first couple of years I leaned heavily on Neville Jones and Rhys Vali, decent local high flyers, who were the best options available (and half of my roster). Then my guy spent most of 2024 'feuding' with Jonni Leyland, the booker of CWW who happens to be based in Wales for this save. Tag matches. Multi-Man Scrambles. Promos. Of my 30 matches in 2024, 14 of them featured Jonni. I've just started mixing in Jaunty Rhodes, but he doesn't quite have the stamina my product requires. Ovis Lividus needs a sparring partner who can go 20 minutes without leaning on the Slow Build note.
Bad Collin
I have really used anyone to train with, I have just been booking my guy in storyline feuds. I know what you mean about feeling like a proper promotion. My crowd for the show I just booked was 435. I am close to hiring an announcer. Current plan is to race to small on very cheap tickets and two shows a month and then see what money we have for WW and announcers. Hopefully 21CW will implode about then so I can scoop up some new stars for my guy to feud with. Edited August 14 by Bad Collin

Bad Collin
TV show attendances are still brutal - I just tested on a copied save and I got 116 for TV when events are up to 600. Not time for TV yet: Weekly event on WW for comparison: Basically the same but I used more expensive workers Edited August 15 by Bad Collin

RobinS
This was my first month. (4 TV shows, 1 non-broadcasted event in Mexico, and one broadcasted in my main location. There's still one TV show left this month). The "PPV" was the only event that made money. 😛 I gained about one point of popularity across the US/Canada (two in Ontario for some reason). It could have been a bit more if my owner hadn’t had the brilliant idea to change the product mid-month.
Bad Collin
I reached January 2026 and I am one point off small! Money is no issue at the moment but I am still not signed to WrestleWorld. I think I will take the plunge once I hit small: Squires is doing well, the RTG roll was 13. "The Man of 1004 holds!. Which doesn't really help:
fourbrothers366
Just started my own. I keep scouting mode on so that is way there are ranges for my ability's but I did the "Spot Monkey" spread and lowered any skill down to 75 if it was above it. I also did a few hires and awaiting to see who is going to pick up the company as owner. I also added 7 "rival" companies around the world: USA has L-ring/Canada has CWWF/Mexico is my company/Japan has KITSUNE/Britain has NWF/Europe has ELPF/Oceania has YEPW/India has MGPW. Please let me know if I over looked anything and I'm looking forward to starting!
mkelley_25
I am ABSOLUTELY going to try this challenge! I am zero-for-life in my L2G attempts in TEW 2020, BUT i have a feeling that THIS time, I'll do it! 😃
moststay
Year 3 is down and honestly, I was feeling burnt out, so I made the executive decision to switch to a new company, downside is the company was insignificant, but I needed a fresh start. Was able to get to tiny before the year ended and even pulled off my first 50-rated match. My rolls for this year were 38. “Avatar 3:16”, and 18. "A Bumpy Ride". The first roll was great it boosted my Star Quality up to 85 but the +10 to basics according to the guide is useless after you get over 40. Self
Half way through 2025. Had a bit of a fright in January. I cut my ticket prices to Very Cheap and my attendances suddenly dropped from 120-ish to 60-ish. It appears that was just coincidence... or I did something else to trigger it. By March, I was back to normal, and the growth continued nicely. Popularity up. Attendances up. Shows are profitable even before I count sponsorship money. I'm beginning to increase Production levels to get ready for WrestleWorld. I think by 2026 I'll be bored of my current format anyway. I put the top belt on my guy. Ovis Lividus has gone from a liability to a solid hand to one of my better performers. Partly because my older veterans are feeling some decline, but mostly he's just turned into a good little high flyer. Excellent chemistry with his manager, and great chemistry with a new tag partner; Rheon Regal, the Poet of the Squared Circle. Rheon is not a good wrestler, but he can talk like nobody's business, and that's something Ovis needs help with. It'll probably be a short reign. I mostly wanted to get the belt off of Neville Jones, who is catching fire in SNP and keeps asking for more money. I can trust my guy to drop the belt to the right person at the right time. 21CW just went bankrupt, so I'll have to see what happens from that. Might add some fresh faces for my roster, if any of them are in my price range. I guess SNP are now the top dogs in the UK, with a weekly show on WrestleWorld. I'd better hurry up and get on their level.

lr10540
Is the early game strategy still the same? Free tickets initially for the first year or so, rapidly upgrading merch, 2 shows a month in your home area? Running a couple tests now before I go all in on a save.

From testing just 1 free show a month is enough for pop, you can go 2 to boost skills more though.
Bad Collin
I hit small with the first show of 2026 and decided to go for it. I'm matching SNP on production and have signed on to WW for my first broadcast shows. Edit: Lost 4.5k in the first month of WW. This is mainly because I matched SNP's Medium production level on Live Event Experience, I think taking the show grade hit on this and adding back the monthly show is probably the best move.
