New Weapons/Items & Finishes

Recommended Posts

Since I haven't seen any mentions of it in the Dev Journal, and it's a fairly minor/cosmetic change:

Add new weapons to the list:

- Gusset Plates (High injury risk)

- Staple Gun (Low injury risk)

- Cinderblocks (High injury risk)

- Liquids (Average injury risk - this would cover lemon juice, rubbing alcohol, hot sauce; none of which would really have a high injury risk by itself, but since the ring can become slippery, I'd bump this up to 'average' risk)

- Carpet Strips (High injury risk)

- Alpha Weapons (Very High injury risk - a catch all high risk version of 'Weapons' for unusual/high risk items like razor blades, saw boards, power tools and so on)

Combine all barbed wire items (cage, boards) to just 'Barbed Wire'.

Reduce the injury risk for 'Light Tubes' from 'Very High' to 'High'. They are so common nowadays, it's basically the default.

Change the 'Table Break' finish to 'Item Break'', so a table doesn't need to be present for a 'break X items' match. This would be very useful for the various World Series of X deathmatches (WS of Glass with panes of glass or light tube contraptions). Add 'World Series' under Match Rules as a finish type to indicate the match can only be won by breaking 4 items and there won't be any falls. Ideally, also add 'Unlucky 13' for staple gun matches where the outcome is some variation of numbers that add up to 13. Admittedly, this is only useful for one match type, but it's awkward to have staple gun matches under Most Falls rules because the falls happen much slower than dollar bills would be stapled.

Add 'Gauntlet' under Match Rules. It kind of works to have gauntlets with Timed Entrances & Total Elimination, but I'd prefer a proper gauntlet where it's always just 2 people in the ring at a time, and the new elimination order for Battle Royals can be applied.
