Backstory 2000...... The "war" began long before the WFW ever came into existence. The war began before the WWC was officially known as the WWC and, in fact, the war began before the WWC and the WFW were ever really a thought. You see, the war began, more or less, when main stream pro wrestling began and the man to start the war was none other than... The legend, R.J. Fesz Before pro wrestling was dropped by official state athletic commissioners, it was, for a small time, considered a "real" sport and none were better than R.J. Fesz. He was so good, that the top states involved in wrestling promotion (the ones earning the highest gates of all the territories) made him the world heavyweight champion - the undisputed world heavyweight champion. The SWA World Champion. Fesz travelled across the world defending his belt... It was well over a decade before he actually lost a match. The SWA title became the foundation for the subsequent titles that followed. The SWA Jr. Heavyweight title, SWA World Tag Team Title, the SWA Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title and the SWA Six Man Tag Team title. Each title was created by and had some involvement in some sort of capacity with R.J. Fesz. He officiated the bouts that crowned the SWA Jr. Heavyweight and Jr. Heavyweight tag team champions, he stood in the corner of Maschera Eagle and Maschera Condor when they won the SWA Six Man Tag Team title. He fell to the mat against Rikiozan in a bout featuring other wrestlers that crowned the SWA World Tag Team champion and he finally lost the SWA World Heavyweight title... or did he? Major controversy erupted in 1963 when Thesz had allegedly lost the SWA World Heavyweight title... In actuality, the bout had turned into a shoot. Thesz was promoted by the SWA Committee and was making one of his occassional tours of the territories, when, an ambitious promoter from the North East told his wrestler to shoot on Thesz, take the title and bring it back home. The SWA never recognized the title change but the WWFW did. They couldnt call their title the SWA World Title so they dubbed it simply the World Heavyweight Title... The SWA sued them and they were forced to call it the WWFW World Title (later the WFW World Title). When RJ Fesz finally retired... he left the pieces of the sacred world championship dispursed across the world...... The SWA World Heavyweight Title was being promoted by the NMA The SWA World Tag Team Title was being promoted by OLIVE Japan The SWA World Jr. Heavyweight Title was being promoted by VIEW Japan The SWA World Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Title was being promoted by NOVA The SWA World Six Man Tag Team title was being promoted by Three A When the NMA was turned into the WWC, they remained the holders of the SWA title but in the early 90s.... something shocking happened..something that made the war even more bitter than ever before... Due to contractual disagreements and pure hatred, the legendery SWA World Champion Dick Slender did the unthinkable...he jumped to the WFW The WWC was humiliated...embarassed and shocked. But it was their own fault. The man who caused Slenders firing didn't last long and in arenas everywhere the fans chanted his name despite him not being present at their events and working for the competition. The only thing the WWC could do was try to sue the WFW and while that process went on, the SWA title was hardly ever seen on WFW television. Finally, in one of the biggest matches in pro wrestling history... the SWA World Title was defended on WFW TV in what many called the most important wrestling match in history. At WFW WrestleFest 1992 the greatest SWA Champion since R.J. Fesz took on the man who made the WFW the biggest company in the world, Ax Duggan. vs Dick Slender vs Axe Duggan SWA World Title Affair WFW WrestleFest '92 In front of a sell out crowd, Axe Duggan smashed Slenders face in with his Guillotine Drop of Doom and pinned Slender for the title. History was made. Duggan defended the title several times but it was becoming more and more apparent that Duggan wanted less and less to do with pro wrestling and rumours began to surface of his pending retirement. Finally, Dink KaKracon made yet another monumental match when he decided he was going to have an SWA/WFW World Title unification match. The bout was to be between Giant Yozuna, the reigning WFW World Heavyweight Champion and Axe Duggan. Everybody believed this would be Duggans last match in wrestling as he had signed a deal months earlier to be apart of a new action television show and was looking to dive into acting full time. Incredibly, moments before the SWA/WFW World title unification match, Dink KaKracon was called by his attorneys and was advised to put an immediate hault on the bout due to pending legalities in the WFW/WWC lawsuit over the SWA title. KaKracons solution was to have the match end controversially and to keep the title vacant. Duggan lost the bout when a ringside photographers camera exploded near Duggans face and he was knocked out. Yozuna held both titles in his arms when KaKracon appeared and stated that as a result of the controversial finish, Yozuna was not to be awarded the belt. Right around this time, Dick Slender had negotiated a contract to return to the WWC. Having established a good relationship with KaKracon, Slender approached KaKracon and asked for the title back and KaKracon agreed. Dick Slender defeated Giant Yozuna for the vacant SWA world title and then returned to the WWC but the damage had been done. The war was hotter than ever. The problem was that during the few years that Slender was gone, the WWC was working hard on creating the credibility of their WWC title. The company was at odds...thinking they'd done all their hard work for nothing - just to have the SWA title back. Sure, they could've kept the belts seperate or just not even acknowledge the SWA title but the SWA title was a household name... Little kids would jump around their beds "Wrestling" their little brother for the right to be the "SWA champion" when wrestling is referenced on radio or TV people would always say, "yeah, someday you'll be SWA champion," or "who do you think you are, the SWA champion?" the WWC knew what they had to do and so they scheduled a unification match of their own. the WWC champion vs the SWA champion. vs SWA World Champion Dick Slender vs WWC World Champion Saber Wrestle Cade '93 In one of the proudest moments in WWC history and the prolific career of Dick Slender, the "Young Noble of Doubt" unified the SWA and WWC titles in shocking fashion when he rolled up Saber to win the match. The SWA title was back home. But the war was about to turn up yet another notch. In mid 1994...amidst major speculation and rumor... Axe Duggan, the most famous wrestler in history returned to the sport, having not succeeded in the acting business. What was even more shocking was when he returned, he returned to the WWC! The biggest name in wrestling just made the WWC a contender. The WWC was really picking up steam. They had been since they hired an ambitious new company vice president, Sheriff Businoff. Businoff was prepared to launch the WWC into the international spotlight and was making huge waves towards it. He cut costs, signed top stars and raised the production values. Businoff was instrumental in bringing in Axe Duggan and immediately set up an SWA title rematch between Duggan and Slender. vs Axe Duggan vs Dick Slender II SWA World Title Affair WWC Beach Blast Bash '94 The rematch wasn't as popular as the original...but it wasnt far off. Axe Duggans first match since his return and his WWC debut saw him pin Slender and win the title to make history yet again. This was a major moment in the "War" and marked a turning point for WWC as they were now seen on even playing field with the WFW. Over the next year the WWC signed major WFW talent....talent that were a bit on the older side but still had huge name value. Stars like Macho Sable, Earth Shake, Big Police Man, Singalong Sam and others all jumped ship to the WWC. In mid 1995....one of the biggest shots in the war was launched when WWC debuted their monday night television program, WWC PYRO. WWC PYRO went head to head with WFW WAR and the Monday night war would be the battlefield between the two companies. On the first edition of WWC PYRO, Axe Duggan defended the SWA Title successfully against Big Police Man and then watched in shock as Rex Louis came out of nowhere to challenge him. Rex Louis had been one of the WWCs stars in the late 80s and was one of the men who carried the WWC World title in the SWA Titles abscense. He had an amazing look and was called by some as the next "Axe Duggan." He, alongside The Spike and others were the top stars of the WWC while Dick Slender was gone. Rex Louis shockingly left the WWC for the WFW where he was billed as one of their big names. Playing the role of an American patriot (after a fledging role as a narcissistic greek god) The "All American" Rex Louis was a major WFW contender and had come to the WWC just a day after being at a WFW event. It was huge. The war was too close for comfort in mid 1995 but by the end of the year the WFW was in firm control. WWC fans were irate. They didnt like former WFW talent coming in and running house on their childhood heroes. They began booing Axe Duggan despite him being the biggest face draw the industry had known at the time. WWC was getting real stale and fans were tuning in to WFW where they're storylines were cutting edge. The talent was younger and were much better in the ring. The WFW was being lead by stars like Shure Miles, Blood Love, Razorblade Rodriguez, Sett Dicas and others. When 1996 came the WWC was desperate for answers. The answer was to lure more WFW talent but this time, it was gonna be different. The WWC signed WFW stars Razorblade Rodriguez and Doomsday. Doomsday was the WFW world champion when they signed him and Rodriguez one of their top stars. When they debuted in the WWC it was an instant shift in power to the WWC. Rodriguez debuted when he ran into a match from the crowd...claiming to be declaring "war" on the WWC. He was treated like an outsider with no allegiance to the WWC...he was being portrayed as an invader..perhaps from the WFW. A week later he returned, antagonizing the WWC personnel and debuting Doomsday as his partner in crime. The huge man Doomsday said that they wanted to challenge the WWC. Over a period of several months in 1996, the "Outlaws" as they were dubbed...invaded WWC shows, beat up WWC wrestlers, attacked camera men...vandalized WWC property and subsequently made WWC the hottest topic in wrestling. At Beach Blast Bash '96 the unthinkable happened and the FWO group was formed. WWC granted the Outlaws their wish and they were given a six man tag team match. The Outlaws had all along said they were apart of a three man group and that their 'leader' would be coming soon. Beach Blast Bash was the biggest Pay Per View in history (financially) at the time. In a shocking turn of events, wrestling god and perennial super hero Axe Duggan came in in the final minutes of the match to apparently help his WWC allies only to turn on them and reveal himself as the mastermind of the FWO. The original FWO, Axe Duggan, Raven Gash and Spott Koss With the launch of this new faction, the WWC became the leaders in pro wrestling. From 1996 until 1997, the WWC was the hottest company in the world and the WFW were in horrible shape. At some points, it was speculated that the WFW may even go out of business altogether. Thats how bad it was. It appeared even moreso to be true when in late 1997, one of the only major stars left in WFW, Blood Love, agreed to a contract with the WWC. In one of the most important moments in wrestling, Blood Love... with only several weeks left on his WFW contract, was scheduled to face challenger Shure Miles for the WFW title at WFW Survival Saga. vs Shure Miles vs WFW World Champion Blood Love Survival Saga '97 The match was bad.. real bad. WFW president Dink KaKracon wanted and NEEDED his title off of Blood Love before he left for the WWC... Blood Love didn't want to lose the belt in his native Canada... At the end of the match, Shure Miles beat Blood Love when Dink KaKracon forced the referee to ring the bell prematurely. He had no choice. He screwed Blood Love and Blood Love screwed himself. This became a huge matter of controversy in and out of the wrestling world. Shure Miles was champ and Blood Love was irate. Backstage after the match, Blood Love KOed Dink KaKracon during an argument. Blood Love was gone, but KaKracon had his belt home. Things were looking bad for the WFW and in the WWC things couldn't be any better. The biggest mach in wrestling history up to that time was about to take place and it was going to be bigger than ever. The WWCs biggest star (arguably) over the past 10 years had to have been The Spike. The Spike was a face painted fan favorite who never went heel and was constantly battling for popularity with Dick Slender. Unlike any other top WWC star, The Spike had never jumped ship or previously worked for the WFW. The Spike was once an electric, bleach blond haired fan favorite but since the FWO began running shop on the WWC, The Spike had become silent. Not speaking in months and slowly stalked the FWO. Hiding in the rafters with his black bat, he was the hero WWC desperately wanted. On the other hand, the FWO had become even stronger. Recruiting names like Court Winning, Muscles Biff Maxwell, Vigil and many others. Coming into Wrestle Cade '97, The Spike vs Axe Duggan was the culmination of the biggest war in history... it was the greatest WWC hero against what was one the greatest WFW hero and wrestling hero ever. The ultimate dream match. vs The Spike vs SWA World Champion Axe Duggan Wrestle Cade '97 The match from a wrestling standpoint was awful. (most of Duggans bouts are.) But carried all the intensity of the biggest fight in wrestling history. Each punch, each kick, each hold and each move drew thunderous ovation from the crowd. At the 20 minute mark, The Spike locked on his signature death hold and forced Duggan to submit. It seemed that the FWO was dead. It should have been. Meanwhile in the WFW...things were looking bad. The WWC just cashed in on their biggest PPV in history..the biggest in wrestling history for that matter. They lost a big star and... They were about to lose another. With Blood Love gone the WFW had only two major name stars left. The Underground and Shure Miles. The two locked up in a world title match and during the bout Miles was injured severely, herniating discs in his back. This was bad. But...an unlikely hero was catching major fire..and had been. With A* momentum... Steam Odin was becoming a major commodity. Cussing, drinking beer and breaking the rules.. The fans loved him and his popularity was beginning to rival all of the WFWs stars... In a major move... The WFW scheduled a world title match for WFW WrestleFest '98...they had one last shot... If they went all out here... they could regain their footing..if they dropped the ball..that was it..it was over. The WFW signed boxing star Iron Bison, one of the most famous boxers of the past 20 years to officiate this special title match. They went into full force promoting for the title match between Shure Miles and Steam Odin. This was getting big..the WWC didnt seem to care much and continued to coast along. Finally.. at WrestleFest '98.... Shure Miles took on Steam Odin. vs Steam Odin vs WFW World Champion Shure Miles WrestleFest '98 The match was a huge success. It wound up being Shure Miles final bout as he was forced to retire due to injury directly afterwards but the WFW found their answer to the WWC. Steam Odin. On this night, Steam Odin launched what has become known as the "Rough Attitude" era in pro wrestling. Drinking, cussing and otherwise not giving a ****, Steam Odin brought the fans back to the WFW. The next night, WWC PYRO and WFW WAR went head to head and WAR won the ratings for the first time in years. WWC was shocked. It was a nightmare... They had no idea it was coming but they stayed confident... They ran a rematch of the Wrestle Cade '97 main event...featuring The Spike vs Axe Duggan II and The Spike won again. They drew big money and retook the lead in ratings but the WFW was right on their tail... They seemed to have an answer though...and their answer was Will Coldback. Coldback was catching major fire. He was muscular and intense and rampaged over opponents. In mid 1998, he was undefeated and fans chanted his name "Coldback" in unison... They had their future star. Axe Duggan had effectively left wrestling. After losing his rematch to The Spike, Duggan disappeared without a trace. The FWO leadership was assumed by Macho Sabel whom shared its leadership with The Outlaws Raven Gash and Spott Koss. The WWC wasn't in total disarray but the WFW was coming back. By the end of 1998, the WFW had assumed control of the ratings and WWC was beginning to lose out. By mid 1999, the WWC had become a shell of its former self...losing much of its audience to the WFW. This can be blamed on two things... The surprising emergence of Steam Odin and the launch of the Attitude Era as well as the WWC's inability to generate new stars and storylines. The FWO was still running and fans were bored of it. They'd gone from cutting edge to over the hill but the WWC was stubborn... Now, in the year 2000..... Hey thanks for the comments.. Please do stay tuned.. You know, I was all set to write up a DAVE diary and then I saw some interest in the fire pro mod I made and I did bust my butt making it... I thought it was a flop (still is or could be) three people DL'ed it... it got mixed reviews...someone thought it was too hard.. another guy really liked it... I figured I'd done all the work for nothing but... I guess there was some slight interest and it would be different than anything else going on here on the diary board... I figured what the hell.... So thanks for the comments and do stay tuned!

The former leader of wrestlings "Knights of the Squared Circle" stable stated that he loves being in Memphis and that he is the real King of Rock 'N' Roll. He wiggles his hips for the ladies and then goes on to talk about how he can't wait until The World War Pay-Per View scheduled for the end of the month. He says that he will not be defending his title at the card, but that he will be at the show to watch the number 1 contenders battle royal. This is followed by Raven Gash shouting aloud, "FWO in the house!!" when finally the microphone is passed to Macho Sabel. Sabel goes on to speak on behalf of the entire FWO and claims that the FWO will once again reign supreme and will win Novembers World War battle royal for the number 1 contendership. However, that was then and over a decade later casual fans have mostly forgotten this ring terrorizer. Hacker D on the other hand has really begun to captivate the fans imagination as of late. His "Spinerooni" and comical interviews have added a breath of fresh air to his stale "tough guy from Harlem" persona. Hacker D misses his signature axe kick and is sprayed in the face by Budoh's dangerous colored myst. The myst blinds Hacker D who then spills out of the ring and loses via countout. He also continues to incite the crowd that is cheering the name "COLDBACK" at him. He then challenges Will Coldback, the indestructible monster who was once unbeaten for over a year. This is not the first challenge Sett has offered Coldback. After discussing Coldback, Dicas continues to hype himself up as the Master of the Universe and Ruler of the World. This could be attributed to his inability to improve with the times as well as the simple fact that he is older. His younger brother, Small Schteiner is far the superior star now and Big Schteiner is reduced to barking at the crowd like a dog for fan support. Sett Dicas wipes the floor with Big Schteiner following a powerbomb victory. The Winner: Sett Dicas Rating: C+ 7) Bill Barrett open mic. Hot off of WFW television where his woman-abusing gimmick as rapidly molding him into a star, Bill Barrett, that's, double B, double R and double T... Came into the ring with his trusty guitar and a microphone nearby. He issued an open challenge to anybody that was up for a fight and also teased the women in the crowd. He promised that he'd kick any "Slapnuts" ass in the dressing room. Rating: C+ 8) vs But Bill Barrett did not expect to see what he saw. As soon as he dropped his mic the unmistakable rhythm of that grim drumbeat began to kick up on the arenas Public Address system. The unforgettable theme of "New Humanity" Will Coldback. The fans went absolutely bananas. The crowd cheered, "Coldback, Coldback" in constant unison as the monster Will Coldback stormed the ring. Coldback got in the ring and Barrett smashed his guitar over Coldbacks head. Coldback looked back at Barrett, growled and screamed in his face. With a smashed guitar still resting over his shoulders and neck, Coldback sent Barrett down with a lariat. One lariat, another and yet another. Barrett slid out of the ring and ran to the dressing room as Coldback did his trademark taunt of jumping in the air with his arms shooting out to the side, screaming all the while. Coldback takes the win via countout. Winner: Will Coldback Rating: B- 9) The New Jersey Trouble The New Jersey Trouble, D. Glass Edge and Smasher G.G. Gigas came to the ring for a tag team match but first they decided to talk a little trash on the microphone. D. Glass Edge has taken a stunning backseat. Not too long ago he was wrestling Will Coldback for the world title at WWC Halloween in Hell '98... AND subject to a really good singles push that the fans were into. Smasher G.G. Gigas had major monster heel star written all over him but never quite reached as far as some thought he was capable. After a brief and (weak) feud with Will Coldback that saw Coldback squash him twice, Gigas has found steady work in a team with D.G.E. The Jersey Trouble say their pattent, "Bada Bing, Bada Boom BADA BANG!" and are ready for action. Rating: C+ 10) WWC WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH vs WWC WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH The New Jersey Trouble - D. Glass Edge and Smasher G.G. Gigas vs The Outlaws - Spott Koss and Raven Gash The Outlaws have been so good in WWC that they have held the tag team titles on many seperate occassions. They have been so good, in fact, that they already have many fans calling them one of or if not the, greatest tag team of all time. Theres no doubt that they have cemented a legacy for themselves in this industry. The match was good, but the champions were just right on their game tonight. While the referee was tied up with Spott Koss and Smasher G.G. Gigas on the outside, Raven Gash wallops D.G.E with a chair in the ring for the win. The Winners: The Outlaws Rating: B- 11) Pre Match Interview with Small Schteiner The fans pour in the boos for Small Schteiner as he comes to the ring. The man with one of the best physiques in the business gets on the microphone and berates the crowd. Chants of "Steroids" are audible but he ignores them. He flexes for the crowd and reminds them that he is the "big bad booty daddy." Rating: B+ 12) WWC NORTH AMERICAN TITLE MATCH vs Small Schteiner vs WWC North American Champion Blood Love The match was decent, but only because Blood Love made it decent. They played the traditional david vs. goliath style match as Schteiner has a huge size advantage over Blood Love. In the end, Bloods speed and technical expertise gave him an edge over Schteiner who became so frustrated that he punched the referee and was disqualified. The Winner: Blood Love Rating: B- 13) THE MAIN EVENT vs Macho Sabel vs The Spike A dream match for long time fans. Macho Sabel and The Spike lock up for a match that will greatly improve both mens opportunity for a world title shot soon. The crowd was fully against Macho Sabel, the reigning FWO leader and were cheering in unison for The Spike, their long time hero. The Spike, the lone dark warrior of the WWC has been on a mission of silence and justice for the past several years as he has stalked the FWO. Both men gave their all in this match... A scoop slam from Sabel... he climbs the top rope and swings his finger in the air.. Leaps off and BOOM! THE FLYING ELBOW DROP! 1..2.. no!! The fans erupt as The Spike kicks out of Sabels trademark finisher. Several more minutes into the match and Sabel is down. Now the Spike locks on his famous death lock maneuver! The referee rings the bell... the time limit has expired!! Winner: Draw Rating: B+ ********************************* FINAL CARD RATING: B *********************************

TOTAL FIRE PRO WRESTLING - CLASSIC EDITION Classic moments in Total Fire Pro Wrestling History 1989 WFW Superstars 1989 - Pay Per View Atlantic City - Sold Out WFW Superstars The Pay Per View was a major moment in the history of Pro Wrestling and for the WFW. The card was the biggest drawing Pro Wrestling pay per view (up until that time...those numbers now would be laughable) and proved to many doubters that pro wrestling was indeed a multi million dollar, perhaps billion dollar industry. Axe Duggan as at the peak of his popularity after his legendery confrontation with Giant Rousimoff. This was to be the final encounter for the feud that had lasted several years... the feud between Gorgeous Daddy/Giant Rousimoff vs. Macho Sabel/Axe Duggan. The card was also important in that it also established the idea that with enough stars... you dont need to have a super-loaded card.... Superstars 1989 featured only 3 matches and lasted 1 1/2 hours. But they were all matches the fans desperately wanted to see. Handcuffs and 2x4's vs "Crazy Black Saw" Doug Gin vs "Guardian Enforcer" Big Police Man This match had been built up for well over the year with both men fighting eachother on a constant basis. Each man had a handful of wins over the other...HOWEVER, Doug Gin had NEVER *pinned* or forced a *submission* on The Big Police Man...no, his wins came from DQ's and countouts...meanwhile, in their previous encounters, when Big Police Man got off his power shots... he took the wins. This feud started during a contest between Big Police Man and Axe Duggan. Duggan had his WFW title on the line against The Big Police Man and looked to be in full control until the referee was inadvertantly knocked out and The Big Police Man began beating on Duggan with his nightstick. Using weapons blatantly and cheating his way through the match with the ref knocked out..it seemed certain that The Big Police Man was going to make history that night. However, Doug Gin came from the backstage area, much to the fans approval and beat down The Big Police Man with his 2x4 to rescue Duggan. Since that encounter, Police Man and Doug Gin have been having it out. In this classic encounter the rules were simple... no dq's, no countouts, no interference... there MUST be a winner! It was the 2x4 vs the Nightstick. It seemed all over at one point when Doug Gin slammed Big Police Man down with a vicious running bulldog. But the power of the Police Man was too much, a headbutt and a Police-Man slam later... and Big Police Man took it. Winner: Big Police Man WFW National Championship Match vs One of the hottest heels in wrestling at this time was the year long reigning WFW National Champion, Singalong Sam. He looked like the King, danced like a fool and pissed off people everywhere. The thing that pissed people off the most was that for over one year..no matter what... no matter how close they came... NOBODY could finish the job and beat him for that National title. This was gonna be different... There was a newcomer...a huge, monsterous face painted new comer who seemed immune to pain. With a rock solid physique unlike anything anyone had seen, the Astro Bluster couldn't lose... wouldn't lose! BUT... Astro Bluster was not suppossed to be the man Singalong Sam fought on this night... it was supposed to be none other than Blood Dragon! Blood Dragon was one of the finest workers in the world at that point and had classic contests against Dick Slender in the NMA/WWC. He was the choice to face Singalong Sam on this occassion but he never showed. Infact, he never turned up in the WFW until years later... Poor business management and the WFW needed an adrenaline shot... so at the last minute, Dink KaKracon had Astro Bluster face Singalong Sam and the fans were far happier with that decision than had it been Blood Dragon. Astro Bluster annihilated Singalong Sam and won the National title. His popularity had been proven... The national championship was just the beginning for Astro Bluster who seemed destined to one day take the reigns and be the figurehead of the WFW. It wouldnt be too much longer until he faced Axe Duggan in that historical match and then...suddenly...fade into obscurity without a trace.... Winner and NEW WFW National Champion: Astro Bluster The Main Event _____________ THE MEGA DOLLAR CHALLENGE! WFW SUPERSTARS '89! w/ vs GORGEOUS DADDY and GIANT ROUSIMOFF (w/ The Bodyguard Vigil) vs MACHO SABEL and AXE DUGGAN Before the match, the entire arena watched on the big screen as Gorgeous Daddy and Giant Rousimoff were interviewed.... Gorgeous Daddy: I'll Put You To Sleep With My Million Dollar Dream!!! Giant Rousimoff: NOBODY MESSES WITH MEGA BUCKS! The fans booed horribly at the interview...and they believed that their heroes would pull it out... The ovation was massive as the miniature rings rolled down the aisleway, bringing out Macho Sabel and Axe Duggan. Standing in the ring already was the Giant and Gorgeous Daddy. There was sheer pandemonium in the audience. The bout began with Gorgeous Daddy and Macho Sabel...the two men circled eachother and as they circled the ring, Macho had found himself in the opposite corner and the massive Giant pulled him in and Gorgeous Daddy and Giant Rousimoff immediately double teamed Macho Sabel. The crowd hated it. Axe Duggan complained and Gorgeous Daddy tagged out instantly. The Mega Bucks took the early advantage.. Demolishing Macho Sabel and coming close with several near falls. They thwarted every comeback that Sabel tried to put together and eventually Gorgeous Daddy slapped on his trademark Million Dollar Dream submission. Trying to choke the consciousness out of Macho Sabel, Gorgeous Daddy watched Sabels arm hit the mat once...twice... and then Sabel rushed backwards, squashing Gorgeous Daddy into the turnbuckles. The fans stomped their feet, Ax Duggan reached out and... TAG! Duggan came in like a bull in a china closet. Smashing away at Gorgeous Daddy... Vigil ran into the ring and was taken out... Then...Duggan turned and slammed face first into the chest of the Human Mountain Range - Giant Rousimoff. The tension was high.. Their fight, Axe Duggan vs Giant Rousimoff... two years earlier set the record for the biggest gate in history.. a record that stands today. The fans never saw a legitimate rematch of the two... some say Duggan was scared... that he got lucky the first time and he knew it.. others say Rousimoff didnt want to risk it... either way...there they stood in a classic moment, Duggan looking up at the Giant, the Giant with a ****y grin looking down. A few words were exchanged..the crowd was roaring with cheers...they chanted "DUGGAN-DUGGAN-DUGGAN!" Macho Sabel was seated at the corner, exhausted... Gorgeous Daddy on the opposite side..equally hurt...all eyes on the center of the ring... Giant Rousimoff with a knife edge! Duggan sneers! Fires a punch to the chest, nothing happens. Another knife edge, another punch! a knife edge! a punch! A shove! another shove! Duggan hits the ropes and BAM is dropped by Giant Rousimoffs forearm shot. Rousimoff seizing the opportunity...lifts him up by his balding hair and a HEADBUTT! Finally, Bark Kestler breaking up the action but no! He's thrown aside by the Giant! Vigil brings a steel chair into the ring... He hands it to Gorgeous Daddy.. Macho Sabel is too hurt to help his partner.. the crowd is irate! Gorgeous Daddy holding up the chair, the Giant has Duggan.. he runs in and DUGGAN MOVES! He slams the chair on Giant Rousimoffs head.. the Giant is staggered! Gorgeous Daddy is stunned... Duggan drops him like a ton of bricks.. Macho Sabel is up...he rushes over and clotheslines Vigil over the top rope! They join arms and rush the staggered Giant...double clothesline and over the top! Rousimoff is out! Macho to the top! Flying Elbow Drop on Gorgeous Daddy! Duggan hits the ropes.. Guillotine Drop!! Macho wakes up the referee... ONE..TWO..THREE!!! The Winners: MACHO SABEL and AXE DUGGAN! The crowd was thunderous as their heroes celebrated in the ring. It was a glorious occassion and a historic one at that. Together the two heroes embraced...little did they know the events that would unfold years later.... As of 2000.............. Big Police Man is a marquee name on the independent circuit... Plenty of big league exposure after having runs in the WFW and WWC. He left the WFW in the mid 90s and was one of many WFW veterans to join the WWC. He floundered around the lower midcard and was apart of the FWO at its most saturated point.. In 2000 he is an indy worker and is sure to attract local interest to small events... There are even rumours that he may return to the WFW but not in his classic blue police guard attire..maybe in a swat team outfit.... Doug Gin grew more and more out of shape and never really gained any sort of success... As did Big Police Man and so many others, Doug Gin jumped to the WWC in the mid 90s and was apart of the lower midcard group there.. Fans love him because of his patriotic attitude..but he is out of shape and very sloppy... He now works the indies much like Big Police Man... fun fact: before Steam Odin became a huge star, he once lost to Doug Gin in under a minute. Singalong Sam never quite gained the same level of fame he had at this point but due to his long reign as WFW National champion fans consider him the best National champion ever.. He, as did the two men previously written, jumped to the WWC in the mid 90s as well but in a contractual dispute as let go after only several months work. He now is very active on the international indy circuit and is an unmistakable face to fans. Astro Bluster this was the beginning for Astro Bluster and maybe the beginning of the end. In under 2 years he went from National champion to World champion challenger. It was Astro Bluster whom ended Axe Duggans historic multi-year champion reign. He beat Duggan in one of the most legendery encounters in WFW history. The biggest face vs face match to date. After winning the title... Astro Bluster vanished without a trace...never to be seen or heard from again... Some say he died... Some would love to see him come back for some big matches... maybe Bluster vs Duggan II? Bluster vs Odin? Bluster vs Coldback? Giant Rousimoff was undefeated for over 10 years until he lost what many feel is the biggest match in wrestling history to Axe Duggan. Rousimoff didnt have much time left as an active wrestler following Superstars '89 and retired shortly after... His popularity was once as great as Axe Duggans but for various reasons...probably because of his inability to speak very well, he never quite earned that same level of success.. Needless to say he is one of the most important wrestlers in history and should be on everybodies top 5 greatest of all time. Before he retired, he returned to the fans good graces and beat the crap out of Gorgeous Daddy and Beauty Lewes Gorgeous Daddy suffered much the same fate as Singalong Sam... slowly over the years his popularity suffered for various reasons until in 1993 he retired due to injury. His last match saw him lose to Razorblade Rodriguez (later known as Spott Koss) in the WFW. He turned into an active manager and turned out to be the financial sponsor of the FWOs takeover of the WWC in 1996. Fans consider him one of the greatest heels in history. Macho Sabel continued to have a very prolific career in the WFW winning alot of high profile matches and holding the world title. Due to the advice of Dink KaKracon in the early 90s he retired and took a role as a color commentator.. Itching to get back into the ring, he was one of the biggest names to jump ship to WWC with Axe Duggan and became a major star there... As of 2000 he has taken the reigns as the leader of the FWO since Duggan vanished. Axe Duggan continued to be the most recognizable name in pro wrestling history and was unrivalled in that category until the emergence of Rack Lepia and Steam Odin. Still undoubtedly the most important man in the history of the business. He had some more major, MAJOR matches and was the WFW's top man coming into 1993 when he was last seen in a WFW match. The big SWA/WFW Title unification contest with Giant Yozuna.. Duggan lost the match controversially and then left the WFW to pursue a full time acting career. When the acting career failed, Duggan returned to wrestling but to everybodies surprise it was the WWC! He became their top man and later turned on the fans and formed the FWO. His turn and affiliation with the FWO brought the WWC to #1 status and nearly put the WFW out of business. In 1997 he was apart of the "Match of the Century" featuring him and The Spike at WrestleCade '97... He lost the match and his SWA title to The Spike.... in their 1998 rematch, The Spike bested Duggan again and he quietly left the wrestling business. Some say he is retired...never to be seen again and some say Duggan will never retire. Some want to see him come to the WFW for some huge dream matches with Rack Lepia and Steam Odin.. others want him back in the WWC to take back the reigns as the FWO leader...or to come back and destroy the FWO... and hell, wouldn't it be something if he showed up at Pat Havens philly based XWA? Hes also got huge marketability in Japan... who knows??? One thing is for sure... WFW Superstars '89 was a hell of a show!

Hey there. Well actually man... heres the deal with all of that.... Hacksaw Jim Duggan, The Big Bossman, Honky Tonk Man and Virgil arent in any of the fire pro games unless you create them. Otherwise the other people are... Hogan was in the very first FPro game... I think Macho and The Warrior were also. Andre was...thats for sure.... Million Dollar Man appeared in the GBA versions as Gorgeous Daddy and I know his entire look is available as a base setting for a created wrestler in the recent Fire Pro Returns... I took these graphics from WWF Superstars the arcade game. The TFPW mod is kinda encompassing all wrestling arcade games.. thats why I have saturday night slammasters in there, tecmo world wrestling, pro wrestling nes etc. etc. and characters from Tekken and Street Fighter too (Wolf Hawkfield and Zangief to name some.) Anyway... Well Fire Pro being a Japanese game... in Japan trademark laws are different... You cant use somebodies NAME... but you can use their likeness for example....remember back in the day on the N64 they had WWF No Mercy and WCW Revenge... well... over here it would be illegal if WCW Revenge put like... The Godfather in their game... just renamed him "pimp daddy" but had him look the same...thats trademark infringement... in Japan, they can have somebody looking JUST LIKE the Godfather in their game but just call him something else and your in the clear. Thats why these guys have weird names... (i.e. Axe Duggan = Hulk Hogan, Gorgeous Daddy = Ted DiBiase etc. etc.) As far as the FWO goes... well... in Fire Pro Wrestling G for Sega Saturn (or dreamcast..im not sure) they have the NWO Sting... if you recall WCW was the biggest company around back then and particularly in Japan because of their working agreement with NJPW. NJPW had an NWO out there.. The whole deal that triggered Sting turning into the Crow was that the NWO had a "fake sting" dress up like the real one and everybody was like "sting went bad" but it was a fake and Sting got pissed at everybody for not believing him and then went all darkside.. Well... NWO Sting stuck aruond but he was too confusing to casual fans who weren't sure what was going on.. they sent him to Japan and he became a pretty decent star out there in the Japanese version of the NWO... NWO Japan (ArisTrist/Team 2000/Team Black etc.) anyway.. In Fire Pro G I saw the first sign of an NWO faction in the Fire Pro world when they had NWO Sting in there but known as "FWO Sting" and his nickname translated to "Suspicious Scorpion..." (cus he was a phony and evil blablabla) so... I knew that I could take the FWO and make that the nWo of TFPW... TFPW combines several different time frames... early 90s, late 90s and early 2000's and throws them together along with some created elements I added in there (like ultimate warrior disappearing after his win over hogan and other stuff) but yeah.... I dont know what it stands for but I would go on to say Fire Wrestling Organization, Fire World Order, Fear World Organization...I dunno really but I just thought I'd explain a little bit of that...
