4C Presents...Poison Web Monday, Week 2, December 2005 Held in front of 300 people (sellout) in the Windsor Aena Hall in Ontario We're welcomed to the show by Terry Smith, The Natural and Flemmy Lemming on commentary. vs. - Match #1- The Machines vs. Stones & Lemming This match was the debut match of these two teams. The Machines consist of "The Machine" Warren Technique and "The Mean Machine" Mean Jean Cattley who is making his also 4C debut tonight. Rolling Johnny Stones and Flemmy Lemming work great as a team. Unfortunately it just wasn't enough on this given night to put the Machines away. Cattley hit a Mood Swing on Lemming and picked up the victory for his team. Winners: The Machines in 9:44 Rating- (C-) The announcers put over the fact that The Machines made an impressive debut tonight already moving up the tag rankings and are bound to be contenders in no time. Next up Air Attack Weasel who was formerly the Hardcore Champion is now the 4C Regional Champion. The announcers explain that it was 4C's decision to drop the hardcore division and put the focus back on competitive wrestling. Next up was Champagne Lover making his way down to the ring. Lover, as the announcers explained, is a phenomenon down in his home country of Mexico and tonight he gets to showcase his talents in 4C as he gets a shot at the Regional championship. vs. - Match #2- 4C Regional Championship- Champagne Lover vs. Air Attack Weasel (c) Lover made an impressive debut tonight while Weasel showed that he could hang with the Mexican Phenomenon. Too bad for Weasel that Lover is just a better wrestler. Lover got the Champagne Breakfast locked in on Weasel who had no choice but to tap out. Winner and new 4C Regional Champion: Champagne Lover in 11:54 Rating- (C-) Next up are Plague who is making his 4C debut and "leaping Lumberjack" Cal Sanders vs. - Match #3- Plague vs. Cal Sanders Plague was on fire in this match. Sanders had a hard time catching Plague with anything. Plague got a little too c*cky however and Sanders was able to gain the upper hand in this match. It wasn't to last long though as Plague caught Sanders with a rolling wheel kick and then hit The New Jersey Turnpike. It was enough to put Sanders away as Plague picked up the win. Winner: Plague in 8:52 Rating- (C) vs. - Match #4- 4C Tag Team Championships- Mighty Fine vs. Thug Life (c) This match was a complete squash. Mighty Fine destroyed the Thugs and made short work of them Devine hit Canadian Gangsta with the 3D (Devine Dream Drop) and won the match and titles. Winners: Mighty Fine in 2:39 Rating- (D) 4C newcomer Hell Monkey challenged Nathan Black to a match earlier this week. The announcers put over that Black is #5 on the 4C Championship rankings. A win for Monkey here could catapult him into the 4C Championship picture. vs. - Match #5- Nathan Black vs. Hell Monkey Black is a good wrestler but was just outclassed tonight in his match with Hell Monkey. Monkey is a world renowned superstar and it showed in this performance. Monkey put Black away with a HellFire Kick in the end to pick up this win. Winner: Hell Monkey Rating- (C) It's now time for the #1 Contenders match for the 4C Championship. Two of the best workers in 4C go head to head to determine who will meet the winner of Joey Poison and Alan Parent. Steve Flash, A veteran whose talent has never been truly appreciated vs. The Natural, a relatively young worker with unlimited potential and skill and an ego to match. vs. - Match #6- 4C #1 Contendership Match- Steve Flash vs. The Natural Possibly the best match 4C has ever seen as these two put everthing on the line here. The announcer even had a hard time keeping up with the action in this one. Plenty of near falls and close calls got the crowd going. Flash got The Natural in position to hit the Flash Bang. Flash goes for it, but The Natural slips out. He hits a piledriver on Flash and the fat lady has just sung. Natural picks up the win and gets the right to take on the winner of tonights main event in 2 weeks. Winner: The Natural in 18:31 Rating- (C+) The Natural returns to the announce booth for the main event, 4C Champion Joey Poison puts his title on the line against the constant pain in his @$$ that is Alan Parent. vs. - Main Event- 4C Championship Match- Alan Parent vs. Joey Poison (c) A pretty good match from these two. Parent tried working Poison over to weaken him for The Parental Abuse, but Poison wouldn't have it. Poison eventually hit The Antidote Web to pick up the win over Parent. Winner and still 4C Champion: Joey Poison in 13:51 Rating- (C-) - The show's coming to a close as Poison is in the ring celebrating with his Championship belt. Suddenly The Natural darts from his seat at the announce booth into the ring. Natural nails Poison with a flurry of punches and then lays him out with the Championship belt. Natural holds the title belt and celebrates with it as Poison is out cold. (D) Overall Rating- (C-)

Thug Life never stood a chance. Cattley hit a Mood Swing on Canadian Gangsta and picked up the win for his team. Winners: The Machines in 3:33 Rating- (D) Next up was Plague going against Johnny Stones. Both of these men have alot of potential, so who will come out on top tonight? vs. Match #2- Plague vs. Johnny Stones This was a very competeitve match. Both of these men went all out showing they belong here in 4C. Unfortunately for Stones, Plague was able to hit The New Jersey Turnpike. After that it was over for Stones. Winner: Plague in 7:40 Rating- (C) Next up is a Tag Team Championship match between Mighty Fine and current #1 contenders Phenomenal Excess. vs. Match #3- 4C Tag Team Championship Match- Phenomenal Excess vs. Mighty Fine (c) The tag team champions once again put on an impressive showing, but Phenomenal Excess did as well. Devine was able to wear Duberry Excess out and then hit the Devine Dream Drop on him to pick up the win. Winners, and still Tag Team Champions: Mighty Fine in 6:44 Rating- (C-) The Next match would be a fatal 4-way match for the 4C Regional Championship between the champion, Champagne Lover and the top 3 contenders vs. vs. vs. Match #4- 4C Regional Championship Match- Air Attack Weasel vs. Barry Kingman vs. Dog Fyte vs. Champagne Lover (c) A very competitive match between these 4 men. Champagne Lover and Dog Fyte nearly dominated this match however. The end of the match came after Dog Fyte clotheslined AAW down to the floor, Lover took advantage and threw Fyte to the floor. Lover then proceeded to hit the Lover Stunner and lock in the Champagne Breakfast on Kingman. Before Fyte coud get back into the ring Kingman had already tapped. Winner, and still 4C Reagional Champion: Champagne Lover in 7:50 Rating- (C-) Next up Nathan Black made his way down to the ring to await his mystery opponent. Black was shocked as Zeus Maxmillion made his way down to the ring. vs. Match #5- Nathan Black vs. Zeus Maxmillion These two may not have clicked, but that may be because Zeus decided to toy with Black. Zeus had the power advantage and made it clear to Black. Zeus ended up getting a little too c*cky however as Black got a near-fall on a small package. Zeus was all business now as he made short work of Black. He hit a Thunderbolt and it was lights out for Black. Winner: Zeus Maxmillion in 8:55 Rating- (C-) Next up was former 4C Champion Alan Parent taking on a man whose been moving up the championship rankings, Hell Monkey. vs. Match #6- Alan Parent vs. Hell Monkey Parent put up a good fight, but Hell Monkey put up a better one. Monkey hit a Hellfire Kick on Parent and it was all over. Winner: Hell Monkey in 9:08 Rating- (C) Out next were 2 guys making their in-ring debut in 4C, Samoan Machine and Frankie Perez. These 2 stiff strong style workers are fighting for the #5spot in the Regional Championship rankings. vs. Match #7- Frankie Perez vs. Samoan Machine These two have a great chemistry together and it definately showed. Perez and Machine went all out hitting every move they could to try to put the other away. It was eventually Samoan Machine who was able to put Perez away as Perez passed out in The Unbreakable Sleeper. Winner: Samoan Machine in 16:41 Rating- (C) Next up is a match between 2 of the top talents in 4C, Steve Flash and Thomas Morgan. Whoever wins this match is in line for a title shot sometime in the near future. vs. Match #8- Steve Flash vs. Thomas Morgan Both of these men were very equally matched and it showed as no one could take a clear advantage in this match. The end of the match came after a top rope superplex took both men down. They draped their arms over their opponent at the same time and the ref made the count for both. Neither kicked out and the ref declared the match a draw. Winner: Draw in 18:48 Rating- (C+) Next up was the main event of the evening. The 4C Championship would be on the line when champion Joey Poison takes on challenger The Natural. vs. Main Event- 4C Championship Match- The Natural vs. Joey Poison (c) Possibly the biggest match in 4C's history took place right here. The man who pretty much built 4C, Joey Poison taking on one of the best wrestlers in Canada, The Natural. This match started off with both men going back and forth exchanging strikes and holds. Poison was able to come out on top and worked The Natural over trying to weaken him as much as he could. The Natural took the advantage away from Poisn however as he caught him with a thumb to the eye that went undetected by the ref. Natural began working on Poisons legs rying to soften them up for the figure four. When The Natural did get the figure four locked on Poison was somehow able to make it to the ropes. Natural picked Poison up and whipped him into the corner. The Natural charged in as Poison dropped down and rolled out of the way, leaving The Natural to charge into the corner post. Posion limped over to The Natural rolled him up in the Antidote Web. Natural was able to grab the ropes before the 3 and turn the cradle to his advantage. Poison kicked out before 3 however. Posion cought his second wind and knocked the Natural down continuously before bringing him down with a suplex. Poison went to the corner and climbed the ropes. Poison struggled to get to the top with his leg in the condition it was in. Natural took advantage of this and leaped onto the second rope knocking Poison down. Natural picked him up and set him up for a top rope piledriver. Natural hit it and Poison was out cold. The ref made the count and 3 seconds later there was a new 4C Champion. Winner, and new 4C Champion: The Natural in 19:43 Rating- (C+) Overall- (C)
OOC note: This was the last show for 4C due to the 1-month diary limitations. I'll once again be taking requests for what Cornellverse promotion I should do next. PM me or reply to this thread to vote.
The month is over and there was only a loss of around $18,000. $19,000 if you believe in rounding up. There was a change in the rankings this week. The first being the most obvious, The Natural is the new 4C Champion and Joey Poison is the #1 contender. Hell Monkey moved up the rankings with a win over Alan Parent and the Flash/Morgan match provided no movement for either man. Dog Fytes performance in the 4-way moved him into #1 spot for the regional Championship while Perez moved up a slot a Samoan Machine debuted after an impressive showing. In the tag ranks Mighty Fine have put away every team that has come after them so far, but so have The Machine who capture the #1 contenders slot.
OOC: Nobody voted so I decided that the next two diaries will be from the other 2 Canadian companies, CGC and NOTBPW. This one being from CGC.
I was packing up all of the stuff in my office. It wasn't because I was getting a promotion and moved up, it was because I was fired. The old "creative has nothing for you." line was dropped on me just a few hours ago. It wasn't even that they couldn't find something for, it was that they didn't want to. You see, I hate the people on the booking team. They stuck me with the craptacular gimmick of JD Steele, Manager Extraordinaire. I was paired up with the worst wrestlers they could find. I'd tried pitching my ideas to the bookers all the time, and was met with "Don't tell us how to do our job and we won't tell you how to do yours." all the time. Too bad none of them realize that that's exactly what their job is. It's also pretty obvious they were trying to get rid of me since I'd been managing the wastes of space and money that are the Kelowna Playaz. Creative has nothing for me my ass. But enough complaining, onto packing. The sooner I can get out of here the better. It was then that my cell phone rang. I didn't recognize the number, but answered hoping It might be someone offering me a job. News travels quick ya know. Me: "Hello?" ???: "Is this JD Steele?" Me: "Who's askin'?" ???: "I have an offer for you." Me: "umm, not to sound rude or anything, but just who the hell is this?" ???: "Oh, my apologies. I must've forgotten to introduce myself. I'm George DeColt." Me: "THE George DeColt?!?" George: "Yes, the owner of CGC. And I have an offer for you I'm sure you can't refuse." Me: "Of course I'll take the job. When do I start? Who am I going to be managing? One of the DeColts? Elite maybe?maybe even..." George: "I'm not offering you a job as a manager." Me: "Huh?" George: "I want you to be my new head booker." Me: "................. are you sure you're George DeColt?" George: "Yes, I'm sure. I just heard that you were fired so I decided to make you an offer before anyone else could." Me: "But you want me as your head booker." George: "Yes. And?" Me: "I'm a manager." George: "So?" Me: "I don't know the first thing about booking." George: "You can always learn as you go." Me: "There's something you're not telling me and I know it." George: "No, this is a simple job offer." Me: "For a job I have no experience in for the 2nd biggest promotion in Canada?" George: "Yes. Is there a problem with that?" Me: "You want me to use my connections to get guys from NOTBPW to work for you, don't you." George: "I'm sure that would be a nice little bonus." Me: "You're not exactly earning my trust here George." George: "Fine, I'll level with you. Don't you want to topple the monopoly the Stones have on Canadian wrestling and get revenge on them at the same time." Me: " When you put it like that how can I refuse? When do I start?" George: "Be at my office tomorrow between noon and 3 to fill out the necessary forms and we'll go from there." Me: "Thank you Mr. DeColt, I'll make sure you wont regret this decision." George: "I'm counting on it." And with that I went back to packing up my belongings. I also told a few of my friends in the back about the job offer. They were happy for me, I was happy they were working PPA for NOTBPW.

The papers are all signed and I'm now officially the new head booker of CGC. While I can't say the prospect of being the head booker thrills me, I can say that the idea of sticking it to the Stones does. I was looking over the companys finances and realized just how much money there was in the bank. After realizing that I decided to put in a few calls to friends of mine from NOTBPW as well as some guys from 4C and the rest of the independants. As of Friday the roster looked like this: Main Eventers John Maverick Eddie Chandler Dean McWade Dan DaLay Steve DeColt Jack DeColt Ricky DeColt Alex DeColt Upper Midcarders Harry Wilson Jon Jetson Ed Monton Fate Ryan Powell Whippy the Clown Lee Rivera Bobby Thomas Tim Westybrook Dirty Frank Chance Dallas McWade The Natural Jungle Jack Midcarders Joey Poison Shane Nelson Puerto Rican Power Nate Johnson Thomas Morgan Steve Flash JD Morgan Human Arsenal Derek Frost Lower Midcarders Fumihiro Ota Dog Fyte Christion Price Stunning Stuart Delicious Danny Darryl Devine Valentine Openers Jacob Jett The Gremlin Hell Monkey Champagne Lover Frankie Perez Jobbe... Will Steve finally get a rematch or will he have to step out of the title picture? CGC Title Bout Wrestling Sunday, Week 1, December 2005 Held in front of 1,000 people (sellout) in the Victoria Royal Athletic Park in Britsh Columbia Dark Matches vs. -Match #1- Steve Flash vs. Dog Fyte- After deciding that I should use the dark match time to train some of the younger workers I decided to put a guy with a very bright future in Dog Fyte in the ring with who else but Steve Flash. Flash won the match with a Flash Bang. Winner: Steve Flash in 7:11 Rating (C+) vs. -Match #2- Derek Frost vs. Ed Monton- I can see a future main eventer in Frost. All he needs to do is improve his in-ring work a bit more. Either way Monton beat Frost by pinfall Winner: Ed Monton in 6:03 Rating (C+) Jenny Playmateis in the ring with a copy of CGC's monthly magazine. She tells the fans that they're available now and that they can pick them up at the concession stands. (A*) Main Show - The show opens up with Steve DeColt coming down to the ring. He grabs a microphone and addresses the challenge laid down to him from Elite last week. Steve Decolt: "Last week I was given a choice. I was told that I could take on Dan DaLay this week in the main event to earn my title shot. The catch being that if I lose tonight or at Chamber of Horrors I'll never receive another title shot as long as any member of Elite holds that belt. My second choice was that I could take the safe route and try to work my way back up the rankings, just like I've been doing since March. Maverick, I accept your challenge. I know that you're going to attempt to cheat me out of this match tonight, but this time I'm prepared. I don't care if you supposedly have some new member, they can get beat down too. You know I'm the better wrestler Maverick and I'll prove it at Chamber of Horrors. Kiss that belt goodbye because it's coming home to the DeColt family." vs. -Match #1- Human Arsenal vs. Hell Monkey- These two may not have clicked, but that didn't matter. Monkey absolutely dominated this match. Arsenal couldn't get in any offense and Monkey finished him off with a Hellfire Kick to make an impressive debut. Winner: Hell Monkey in 3:33 Rating (C-) - Next up are Elite. All three members are shown in their locker room and DaLay has something to say to Steve DeColt. DaLay: "Tonight marks the last night of Steve DeColts career. Tonight I'll beat DeColt to within an inch of his life and when I pin him it'll be the last time he'll ever receive a title because, let's face it, Elite will always be on top. All of the DeColts were born with a silver spoon in their mouths. None of them know what it's like to have to fight your way to the top. My good friend and CGC World Champion John Maverick does know what it's like to fight his way to the top. In February he broke the monopoly the DeColts had over the title for 4 long years. He beat you for the title Steve. You may be recognized as the best the DeColts have to offer, but that's precisely why the DeColts will never be able to take down Elite." DaLay gives the mic to Eddie Chandler now. Chandler: "Since my partner here already basically said that the DeColts suck let me move onto something important, the newest member of Elite. This guy is going to be a huge asset to our ever growing ranks. He's a dangerous man and not someone to be taken lightly. Trust me when I say this, his presence will be felt by the DeColt family by the time this night is over. Be afraid, be very afraid." (C+) - The camera now cuts to CGC Tag Team champions 'The Specialists' (Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson). The team is sitting backstage at a monitor ready to scout the two teams making their way down to the ring, Mighty Fine and The McWades. The winner of the match will receive a shot at the titles at Chamber of Horrors. The McWades isolated Jett in their corner and wore him down with constant tags and double teaming. Jett was able to get away from the McWades corner of the ring when Jett ducked a big boot and dove for a tag. Devine made the tag and came in the ring like a house of fire knocking down both McWades repeatedly. Devine hit a Devine Intervention on Dean McWade sending him out of the ring. Unfortunately for Devine Dallas was the legal and hit him with a clubbing blow from behind. Dallas stomped Devine while he was down but was hit with a missile dopkick by Jett from behind. Devine capitalized and hit the Devine Dream Drop. He made the cover and the ref made the 3-count. Winners: Mighty Fine in 6:16 Rating (C+) - Devine and Jett are celebrating their win when the champions Bobby Thomas and Nate Johnson run down to the ring. They lay Mighty Fine out with the title belts and start pounding them with punches and stomps. The champs don't stop until security comes down to the ring to break it up. The champs are beaten and bloody and are helpe to the back. (E) - The cameras cut backstage to a hallway where Alex DeColt is out cold. Seemingly the victim of a sneek attack he's taken out of the arena in an ambulance. (B-) - Tim Westybrook comes down to the ring and grabs a mic. Westybrook: "In a few moments I have a match to determine the #1 contender for Eddie Chandlers Canadian championship. No offense to my opponent tonight, Ryan Powell, but you're not even in the Ironman's league. I'm going to be the one who dethrones Chandler at Chamber of Horrors and if anyone from Elite has anything to say about that they can come up to me and tell me to my face. I'l take out any of them including whoever mystery man is. I'm an unstoppable force and I'll prove it tonight." (C) vs. -Match #3- #1 Contenders Match- Ryan Powell vs. Tim Westybrook- The Ironman and the Shooting Star locked up to begin the match. Westybrook overpowered Powell and Powell went flying down into the corner. Powell tryed it again and got shoved down again. Powell got up and challenged Westybrook to a test of strength. Westybrook laughed a bit before accepting the challenge. Westybrook showed his strength and outpowered Powell here too. Powell outsmarted Westybrook however by driving his knee westybrooks gut. Powell went on the offensive with an arm wringer and then an arm bar takedown trying to weaken Westybooks right arm. Powell continued to work on the right arm of Westybrook before going to the top rope. Powell goes for a shooting star press, but Westybrook moves at the last second and both men are down. Powell and Westybrook make it to their feet at the same time. The two exchange punches with Westybrook still selling the right arm after every punch. Westybrook gains control and shoots Powell off the ropes and Westybrook hits a spinebuster on Powell. Westybrook picks up Powell with his left arm, gets him on his shoulders and hits an Ironforge Drop on Powell. Westybrook makes the pin and the ref counts to 3. Winner: Tim Westybrook in 5:34 Rating (B-) - Backstage we see Eddie Chandler 'talking' to Hotstuff Marie, Jack DeColts girlfriend. Actually it's more like hitting on her. Chandler: "C'mon Hotstuff, someone like you shouldn't be with a loser like that. You should be with a real man, you should be with me." Marie: "Will you get away from me you creep?" Marie tries to walk away but Chandler wedges his hand against the wall to keep her from walking away. Chandler: "No, and I take that creep comment personally. You don't know what a real man is. It's about time I show you." Marie: "I don't want to go out with you, I don't want anything to do with you." Chandler: "Who said you had a choice?" Chandler attempts to put his hands on her before Jack DeColt steps in and grabs Chandler by the wrist. Jack: "Keep your hands off of my girl before I break them off." Chandler: "Whoa whoa whoa, you got it all wrong Jack, I was just talking to her." Jack: "Then why were your hands all over her? You wanna answer that one for me?" Chandler: "That little whore over there tried to seduce me. You should really be keeping an eye on her." Jack: "If you ever call her a whore again I swear to god I will kill you!" Chandler: "Fine, have it your way. Ignore the truth, see if I care." Chandler walks away as Jack and Marie begin to leave too. Chandler takes the opportunity to break a 2x4 over Jacks' back. (A*) - Next up we see Steve DeColt make his way down to the ring. He picks up a mic and begins to cut a promo on Elite. Steve: "I've been sitting backstage trying to prepare for my match almost all night and yet it seems Elite have been up to their usual bull****. First my brother Alex is attacked from behind from by someone I can only assume is from Elite. Then Eddie Chandler begins hitting on an innocent woman and follows it up by breaking a 2x4 over his back. I'm surprised none of you have gotten to Ricky yet. Unfortunately you three stooges are forgetting something. Unlike Elite, the DeColts don't need anyone cheating for them to win a match. Bring everything you have DaLay, because I'm not going down without a fight." (B-) vs. -Match #4- Steve DeColt vs. Dan DaLay- An intense staredown is how this match began. DeColt knew what was on the line in this one and went straight on the offensive. DeColt began working on the head and neck area of DaLay. DeColt was in complete control of the match, until Eddie Chandler made an appearance at ringside. The ref was distracted, as was DeColt. DaLay took advantage of the distraction and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles from his tights. DeColt turned around and got clocked with the knuckles. DaLay put the knuckles away and made a pin on DeColt. Chandler dropped down from the apron and pointed out the pin to the ref. The ref made the count.. 1...2... kickout. DaLay looked frustrated and began to deliver punch after punch to the head of DeColt until he began to bleed. DaLay picked him up and set him up for the DaLay Down (an inverted piledriver), but DeColt reversed it and got DaLay onto his shoulders. DeColt charged into the corner and left DaLay in a tree of woe position. DeColt hoisted him up by the neck and hit a neckbreaker from the corner. DeColt waited for DaLay to get to his knees. DeColt ran to the ropes behind DaLay and caught him with a DeColt Stampede (running bulldog). DeColt made the pin and the ref counted to 3. Winner: Steve DeColt in 8:18 Rating (B+) - As DeColt is celebrating his win DaLay gets back to his feet and tries to jump DeColt, but DeColt saw it coming. He hit another DeColt Stampede on DaLay taking him down. What happened next shocked both the fans and Steve DeColt as the newest member of Elite made his way out to the ring from the crowd. The man known as Dark Angel stood in the ring and stared a shocked DeColt down. Angel took advantage advantage of DeColts surprise giving him a kick to the gut and delivering The Descent into Hell on Steve. He then went up to the top rope and hitting a Falling Angel Moonsault. DaLay recovered by this point and began putting the boots to Steve. DaLay grabbed a mic and formally introduced the Dark Angel. DaLay: "I may not have won the battle, but I think our secret weapon has just proven that he's gonna win us the war. Let me introduce to everyone in this arena and to everyone watching on television to the newest member of Elite, Dark Angel. The man who's single-handedly destroying another wrestling family in a lesser promotion in Canada is our secret weapon. This man cannot be stopped. I dare anyone from the DeColt family to step into this ring with Dark Angel." It's then when Ricky DeColt, who came down to the ring to check on his brother Steve, jumped into the ring. Ricky apparently accepted the challenge DaLay had just laid out. DaLay: "Well, it looks as if the runt of the litter wants a go at you Dark Angel. I say show no mercy." With that Dark Angel gets a cheap shot on Ricky as DaLay gets out of the ring. (B for the attack, B+ for the introduction) vs. -Match #5- Ricky DeColt vs. Dark Angel- Angel absolutely dominated Ricky at the beginning of this match. He kept Ricky down with a seris of painful kicks and suplexes. Angel then goes for a Falling Angel Moonsault and hits it. the ref begins his count, 1...2... ,Angel picked up Rickys shoulder to stop the count. Angel then went up top and hit another Falling Angel Moonsault. This tie he didn't even bother to pin Ricky. He then circled the ring before going up to the top again. He arrogantly took his time getting there too. Dark Angel went for another Falling Angel Moonsault and missed. Ricky moved out of the way. Ricky and Angel both made it back to their feet as Dark Angel went for a kick to the side of Rickys head. Ricky ducked it however and rebounded off the ropes hitting a spinning wheel kick on Dark Angel. Ricky then hit a standing hurricanrana to Angel and got a near fall. Both men made it back to their feet and Angel tried to hit a clothesline, but Ricky ducked, rebounded off the ropes and hit another spinning wheel kick. Ricky ran to the ropes as Dark Angel was making it to is feet. Ricky bounced off the middle rope and hit a tornado DDT on Angel. Ricky picked Dark Angel up and set up for the DeColt 45. Ricky went for the roll, but Angel did too and was able to get Ricky onto his shoulders. Dark Angel powered him down and went up top again. This time he hit the Falling Angel Moonsault. He wasted no time and made the cover. Ricky couldn't kick out and it was all over. I am one of the best wrestlers in Canada today, and the world for that matter. Elite contacted me and asked me if I'd like to join them. After some consideration I decided that this could be my opportunity to make a name for myself in Canada at the expense of the DeColt family. That joke of a wrestler that I just destroyed I didn't even break a sweat on. I just hope that the DeColts will actually be a little bit more of a challenge than the clown." (C+) - The camera cuts backstage now to where Mighty Fine (Darryl Devine and Jacob Jett) are being interviewed. The McWades tried to throw Jett around the ring to start the match as they had last week, but Jett already knew they would. Jett hit a dropkick on the knee of Dean McWade which took the big man down. Jett continued to hit the knee with kicks until McWade was nothing more than a boulder in the middle of the ring. Jett made the tag to Devine who came in with a hurricanrana from the top rope to Dean McWade. Devine charged at Dallas McWade in the corner with a forearm that took him out side the ring. Devine then hit the Devine Dream Drop an Dean and made a cover. The ref counted the 3 and Mighty Fine won. Once the Trademark takes out the IronLoser he should be the one to get a shot at the CGC Canadian Championship. It makes sense, doesn't it? What doesn't make sense though is why you people actually cheer for IronLoser. I mean, I thought people know that drugs are bad and yet you cheer someone who clearly is a steroid abuser. Westybrook nailed Morgan with a series of punches that sent Morgan into the corner. Westybrook pummels Morgan in the corner. The ref has to try to pull Westybrook off Morgan, but Westybrook tosses the ref back. Morgan hits Westybrook with a lowblow while the ref is down and takes control of Westybrook. Morgan gets in a couple of punches to the gut followed by a series of knees to the gut. Morgan worked over Westybrooks abdominal before locking in an abdominal stretch. Morgan took every chance he could to pull on the ropes for extra leverage. Westybrook was locked in that abdominal stretch for a good while before rallying back. Westybrook powered out of the stretch with a hip toss. Westybrook took Morgan down with a series of clotheslines, then a scoop slam and a leg drop. Westybrook made the cover but Morgan was able to get his shoulder up at 2. Westybrook whips Morgan into the corner and charges in. Morgan tries to elevate himself over and behind Westybrook, but he catches Morgan. Westybrook tries to set him up for the IronForge Drop, but Morgan squirms his way off of Westybrooks shoulders and shoves him forward into the turnbuckle. Angel on the other hand still has a stoic look on his face and doesn't seem worried about this match at all. The two lock up and Angel immediately takes the advantage in this match-up. Angel takes DeColt down with a series of kicks and punches. Angel followed up the shots with a series of suplexes onto DeColt. Angel then went up top and hit an elbow drop on DeColt. Angel didn't bother pinning him and instead went back up top. Angel then went for a Falling Angel Monnsault, but DeColt gets his knees up and Angel lands across them. DeColt goes right on the offensive with viscious shots to the gut. DeColts advantage didn't last long however as Angel was able to catch a kick to the side and hit a dragon screw on him. Angel immediately went after the knee of DeColt working it oer with stomps and kicks to it. Angel then hit a Descent into Hell. He went up top and hit a Falling Angel Moonsault and made the cover.
OOC: I appreciate the comments Adam. CGC does have alot of room for creativity with some pretty good characters. And strange ones too, where else can you find a clown and a gremlin on the same roster? It's odd that I can't remember anyone ever doing a CGC diary before though.
Official Preview for CGC Chamber of Horrors CGC World Championship Match Steve DeColt vs. John Maverick (c) This is DeColts last shot at the CGC World Championship. If DeColt loses this match then he never gets another shot at the CGC World Championship as long as any member of Elite has the belt. DeColt was cheated out of the belt back at Luck of The Draw in February after Elite got involved in the match. DeColt then won his rematch, but it was by DQ. Elite have made DeColt work his way back up the rankings for the last 9 months and after his win over DaLay ay the beginning of this month he earned the title shot. Will DeColt make the most of this opportunity and win the belt back or will the "Silent Assassin" John Maverick be able to beat DeColt. An even better question is whether Elite will get involved. Can Steve fight off Maverick and the rest of Elite? Find out at Chamber of Horrors. CGC Canadian Championship Match Tim Westybrook vs. The Natural vs. Thomas Morgan vs Eddie Chandler (c) Eddie Chandler has had his mind on Hotstuff Marie all month while the 3 newcomers have been making an impact in CGC. The 3 contenders have nearly killed each other to get this title shot and after the huge fall they took on Title Bout Wrestling one has to wonder if any of them are in fighting condition. Will Chandler make a sucessful defense or will one of the newcomers finally take the title off of him? At Chamber of Horrors these two teams will finally meet in a match to determine the CGC Tag Team Champions. Will the newcomers in Mighty Fine be able to take the championships away from the dominant tag team that The Specialists have been? Jack DeColt vs. Dark Angel Dark Angel was brought in as a surprise from Elite and has been on a winning streak since, a streak over the DeColt family. On his first night he defeated Ricky DeColt who has been trying to get a rematch out of Angel ever since. That led to Alex DeColt challenging Dark Angel and losing. This led to Jack DeColt challenging Dark Angel, and losing as well. Jack is now determined to defeat Dark Angel challenging him to a rematch immediately after their first match. Will Jack pick up a win giving each man a win over the other or will Dark Angel make it a clean sweep? Ricky DeColt vs. Ryan Powell DeColt has been looking to get a rematch with Dark Angel all month, and ran into Ryan Powell instead. Both teams tried to throw each other around which didn't work out too well for The Soldiers as The McWades are larger. The Soldiers didn't give up though and fought as hard as they could against the McWades. It wasn't enough though. The McWades tried everything they could to put the soldiers away, but they kept kicking out. Dean became so frustrated that he ripped the top turnbuckle cover off and smashed Chances face into it in plain sight of the ref. The ref rung the bell for the DQ and this match was over. At the end of the day though, it's still one ugly ass gorilla. Westybrook, you're not winning tonight. And as for my second competitor, roid rage the gorilla made one good observation, Morgan always refers to himself in the third person. I know that when a mother sees her baby for the first time and it looks like somebody beat it with an ugly tree a mother may throw the baby out of their arms out of fear that the ugly on display is contagious and that baby may land on its head, but that still doesn't explain why you're as stupid as you are. Let me make this clear to you Trademark, we are not friends nor have we ever been. And by the way, if you seriously think you're ever going to get into Elite then maybe for a Christmas present I should get you a lifetime pass into a mental institute. And speaking of Elite let's talk about Eddie Chandler for a moment. He's arguably the most successful skirt chaser in this company right now. Alex started to mount a comeback when Hayes jumped onto the apron and held DeColt. DaLay came charging in with a forearm, but DeColt ducked and DaLay took Hayes down. Alex made his comeback taking DaLay down with multiple shots. DeColt goes for a clothesline, but DaLay ducks and nails the ref. DeColt looks down at the ref and DaLay hits him with a low blow. DaLay delivered 3 DaLay Downs on Alex before going for a pin. Hayes woke the ref who then made the count. Now onto the title match. Steve DeColt was CGC Champion about 10 months ago. He lost his title to the man standing right behind me, Mr. John Maverick. For the last 10 months now John has had to hear DeColt run his mouth about how he should be the World champion, and how he was cheated and blah blah blah. Steve, you're nothing more than a spoiled rich brat born with a silver spoon in your mouth. Daddy has done everything for you and those snotty nosed brats you call brothers. For once daddy can't give you what you want and you throw hissy fit after hissy fit. It all comes to an end here. You signed the contract, you know what's on the line. When you lose you never get another shot at the CGC World Championship again so long as a member of Elite holds the championship. Believe me Steve, Elite will not be relinquishing this championship anytime soon. Let me make something clear to you Steve, I despise your kind. People who are handed everything to them, never have to work a day in their lives and don't even know how to get their hands dirty much less the meaning of the word work. Elite was created as the solution to the family tradition of trading the World Championship between the 3 of you. John Maverick will break that tradition once and for all. It's too bad these retards in the crowd are too stupid to realize that we aren't the bad guys here. We'll see you in the ring Steve, and you'll be seeing the roof when Elite finally shuts you up for good." (B-) - Steve DeColt is being interviewed about the upcoming match now. That I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth? Well I wasn't. I worked just as hard as anyone else to get to where I am in this company. I didn't have to clock someone in the head with my silver spoon to win any of those matches now did I? I didn't have to buy my way into any title matches did I? I have no reason to complain anymore, your silent threat is giving me a title shot and this time I plan to make the most of it. I'm not going to let this match end in a DQ or allow Elite to cost me this match. I know very well what's on the line, what I work so hard as a wrestler everyday to achieve, The World Heavyweight Championship. You can bring whoever you want Hayes, you can bring the mute assassin, the huge sack of **** Dan DaLay, the womanizing pervert, the mute that wears make-up, the freezer burn guy, hell, just bring 'em all because I will overcome the odds tonight and take back my championship. John Maverick is going to be looking up at the lights watching his career flash before his eyes before tonight is over." (A) - A video package airs showing all of the events that led up to the World Championship match tonight. The footage started when Elite brought in John Maverick as their silent assassin. The video includes highlights from the DeColt/Maverick title match which Maverick won after heavy interference from Elite and the rematch the following month where DeColt won by DQ after Elite were caught by the ref. The video also includes DeColts rise back to the top of the company and Maverick being fed opponents for the last 9 months. DeColt began this match attacking Maverick with punch after punch until the ref had to pull DeColt off of Maverick. DeColt turned around right into a poke to the eyes which the ref didn't catch. Maverick shot DeColt off the ropes and caught him with a backbreaker. Maverick worked away at the back of DeColt to soften him up. Maverick put DeColt into the Assassins Creed (scorpion deathlock). DeColt managed to last long enough to make it to the ropes. Maverick broke the hold at about 4 before dropping some elbows onto DeColts back and dragging him into the middle of the ring. Maverick locked in the assassins creed again, this time in the middle of the ring. DeColt struggled to get to the rope, but Maverick dragged him right back to the middle. DeColt clawed for the ropes again and Maverick dragged him back to the middle again. This time DeColt over powered Maverick and threw him off his back. DeColt struggled to his feet but Maverick cut him off with some shots to the gut. Maverick went back to working on DeColts back. Maverick went for a fourth assassins creed, but DeColt pulled Maverick in and locked on a crossface. Maverick made it to the ropes for the break. Both men got up and connected with punches on the other. DeColt got the best of the exchange and bounced off the ropes with a vicious clothesline. DeColt worked on Mavericks neck for a while before taking him down with a DeColt thrust. DeColt stood against the corner behind Maverick as he was getting up to set up for the DeColt Stampede. DeColt goes for it, but the lights go out. When they go back on Maverick is on the outside on the opposite side of the ring. DeColt goes over to the other side of the ring but the lights go back out. This time when they come back on the ref is out and Dark Angel is standing in front of DeColt. Angel kicks DeColt in the gut and gives him the Descent into Hell. The lights go out again and Dark Angel is gone and Maverick is in the ring. Maverick locks in another assassins creed and Hayes wakes the ref. DeColt tries to make it to the ropes but can't. DeColt taps out. Winner: John Maverick in 19:32 Rating (B+) - Jack DeColt came down to the ring. Angel used the same tactic as he used in their previous match working DeColt over with some stiff kicks and dangerous suplexes. Angel goes for a Descent into Hell but Jack hits a back body drop on Angel instead. Jack goes on the offense nailing Angel with shot after shot unable to take him down. DeColt charges into Angel shoulder first finally taking him down. DeColt goes for the End of Days (modified bow and arrow), but Angel rolls DeColt up, 1..2. Jack kicks out. Angel follows that up with a quick armbar takedown and puts DeColt into a front facelock. Angel later starts to incorporate knees to the shoulders and head into the hold. Jack eventually powers up to his feet but his comeback is cut short as Dark Angel catches him with a knee to the gut. Angel pulls DeColt in for the Descent into Hell. As Angel is about to hit the move Ricky DeColt runs into the ring and attacks Dark Angel. The ref calls for the bell.
OOC: Thank you to everyone who has left comments in this thread so far, it's definately appreciated.
From www,CGC.com
Official preview for CGC Title Bout Wrestling: CGC Chamber of Horrors was an eventful PPV to say the least. The most shocking event being Elites kidnapping of Ricky DeColt. How will the DeColts respond to these actions? What will the DeColt family do to Elite? What kind of state of mind will Steve DeColt be in after Friday nights event? Because of Dark Angel Steve DeColt will not be able to challenge for the CGC World Championship anymore so long as a member of Elite holds the belt. You'd have to believe that Steve DeColt will be looking for blood this Sunday. As for Elite, their promise that Chamber of Horrors will be the beginning of the end of the DeColt family is starting to come true. Early in the night Elite strengthened their forces with the addition of Derek Frost who attacked Ricky DeColt after his match. Eddie Chandler wasn't too sucessful though as he lost his CGC Canadian Championship to The Natural after Jack DeColt attacked Chandler and took him out of the match. John Maverick may just have been the most sucessful member of Elite as he not only kept the CGC World Championship away from the DeColt family, but also ensured Steve may never become CGC World Champion again. Although it was with the help of the Dark Angel. Speaking of Dark Angel it was Angel who faced off against Jack DeColt in the main event. Angel won by DQ when Ricky DeColt attacked him. Afterwards Elite kidnapped Ricky. As mentioned before The Natural won the CGC Canadian Championship at CoH. This week on Title Bout Wrestling The Natural and Jennifer Clare will be throwing a party in The Naturals honor. After Tim Westybrook did all the work in the match The Natural stole the pin, will Westybrook have anything to say to the Natural? Also at Chamber of Horrors The Specialists picked up a win over Mighty Fine after using the tights and the ropes. However, in the #1 contenders match between The McWades and The Soldiers of Fortune last night there wasn't a winner. On Title Bout Wrestling The Mcwades, The Soldiers of Fortune and Mighty Fine will compete in a 3 way tag team match for the #1 contership to the tag team championships. This is the first I've checked out of your diary and I must say, I like the direction of the last couple of shows (I've yet to read the stuff that proceeded it). I'm going to be dealing with CGC to a degree in my diary and whilst thinking of potential Elite members, I actually had Derek Frost down as a frontrunner to the join the group as well. He just seems to fit them like a glove. Like Adam said, CGC has a great cast of characters to use and plenty of room for creativity. In my opinion, it's one of the more attractive promotions to try and run with. Anyway nice work, I'll be keeping an eye on this.

First I'm screwed out of my title yet again by Elite, then Jack loses to Dark Angel because Ricky decided to jump him, and after that Elite did something so heinous, so horrible, so disgusting when they kidnapped Ricky. There are unwritten rules to this business that you just don't break. There are lines that you don't cross and at Chamber of Horrors you did more than just cross that line, you ran right through it at 100 MPH. Don't pretend that this war is personal all of a sudden because it was always personal. We don't buy that bs, the only people who do are the morons in the crowd. You've been keeping us all under a microscope looking for us to slip up even once so you could hand us a pink slip. You've wanted to see us fired for your own sick satisfaction just because we don't agree with the idea of this company being the DeColts little playground. If I kick sand in your face someone goes runnin' to Daddy DeColt and I get a paycut, you kick sand in my face and you get applauded. Monton used that to take advantage in the match. Monton kept control for the rest of the match. Monton went for a Canadian Driver, but Jungle Jack came down to the ring. He hopped onto the apron to distract the ref. Monton went over and gave Jack a shot to the jaw that took him off the apron. Monton turned around and received a big boot. At CoH I should've walked out with the Canadian Championship, I'm the one who had Morgan beat before she decided to get involved." As if things weren't bad enough "Trademark" Thomas Morgans music hits and he comes down to the ring. Morgan: "The Trademark is here. At Chamber of Horrors The Trademark should have left with the Canadian Championship. The Trademark should've won, but the Trademark was too distracted by what was happening to my good friend in Elite, Eddie Chandler. You didn't win however IronLoser and that makes the Trademark happy. The Trademark will win the Canadian Championship tonight as I am challenging The Natural right now." Natural: "Listen to me you whacked-out fruitloop, none of this concerns you. This is a January-February conversation so why don't you March your ass back up that ramp and let the men talk." Morgan: "The Trademark will not leave without taking that belt back in honor of Elite." As Morgan says that Elites music plays and out comes Eddie Chandler. Chandler: (to Morgan): "I want you to shut your damn mouth right now before you give Elite a bad name. You're not part of Elite and you never will be, you're not Elite material. As for The Ironman and The Natural, neither of you beat me. As far as I'm concerned I should still have that belt. The ref should've stopped that match when Jack DeColt came in and attacked me." Morgan: "I'll prove to you right now that I'm Elite material" Morgan throws down his mic and attacks Westybrook. The Natural and Chandler join in on the beatdown. Westybrook is able to overpower them and throw all 3 men off of him. Westybrook charges Chandler with a clothesline that takes him out of the ring. Morgan jumps on Westybrooks back, but gets tossed off. Westybrook throws Morgan out of the ring. He turns around to find himself face to face with The Natual. The 2 have a staredown before The Natural hits Westybrook with a punch. The 2 go back and forth in a slugfest. The Natural slips in a poke to the eyes before attempting a running clothesline on Westybrook. Westybrook ducks the clothesline and drops The Natural out of the ring. Chandler grabs a mic on the outside of the ring now. Chandler: "I would take care of you personally right now if it weren't for Jack DeColt taking his cheap shots at me. But don't worry Tim because I have just the opponent for you, whether you want to wrestle him or not." The lights go out. When they come back on Dark Angel is standing behind Westybrook. (B for the celebration, B- for Westybrooks interuption, C for the brawl, B- for the match announcement) vs. -Match #3- Tim Westybrook vs. Dark Angel- Westybrook turned around and saw Darkk Angel staring at him with a stoic look on his face. Westybrook charged in and received a drop toe hold. Dark Angel took control of the match with his usual arsenal of kicks and suplexes. Dark Angel went up top and waited for Westybrook to get up. Angel tried to hit a cross body from the top, but was caught by the Ironman. Westybrook threw Angel onto his shoulders and delivered an Ironforge Drop. The crowd was going crazy believing that someone may have just beaten Dark Angel. Westybrook crawled over and made the pin, 1..2.. Dark Angel kicked out of the pin. Westybrook was visibly frustrated. He picked Angel up onto his shoulders again for another Ironforge Drop. Angel slipped out of the second attempt and threw Westybrook chest first into the corner. Westybrook stumbled backwards and received a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Angel picked the Ironman up and set him up for the Descent into Hell. As Angel was about to hit it Steve DeColt charged the ring with a chair in hand and nailed Dark Angel with it. The ref called for the bell. Winner: Dark Angel in 11:40 by DQ Rating (A) DeColt viciously attacks Dark Angel with the chair obviously trying to send a message to the rest of Elite. Angel finally rolls out of the ring. DeColt grabs a mic. Steve: "As far as a match between me and Dark Angel at CGC Elimination goes, I accept the challenge. What I just did is only a taste of what I'll do to you in a month." (B+ for the attack and the challenge) Final (B) Slightly dissapointing, but this was more of an angle based post-PPV show anyways.
Quick Results: Youth Energy defeated The Ladykillers (C) Steve Flash defeated Harry Wilson (C-) The Soldiers Of Fortune defeated Mighty Fine and The McWades (C) Derek Frost defeated Ed Monton (C+) Dark Angel defeated Tim Westybrook by DQ (A) Final (B)

OOC: After a brief hiatus CornellVerse Explored is back. Now with 25% less typos. I hope. To anyone who reads this diary, sorry about the small break. It's just hard to motivate myself to put in all this work and then have to start over again after 5 shows. I've decided to do something different with this diary. Instead of doing a short backstory I've decided on doing a longer, more detailed one.
Introduction
5 A.M. I awoke to the sounds of my broken down alarm clock going off. While normally I would use my trusty hammer to silence it, today was different. Today wasn't just another day at a dead end job trying to earn money for my hobby, my hobby being wrestling on the weekends of course. Today I actually wanted to get up. Tonight was going to be my chance to finally make it into the big leagues. I get a tryout match for NOTBPW. I was scheduled to face another hopeful in a dark match tonight at NOTBPW Championship Wrestling. I want to do everything that I can to be prepared. First thing's first, I called in sick to the telemarketing company I work for. It's probably one of the most boring jobs there is, but I've made it work. I spend most of the day watching matches on my computer, the only time I don't is when I'm being watched by a supervisor. And believe it or not the actual telemarketing is good practice for my mic work. Selling a slightly defective widescreen TV to an ederly woman in Florida isn't that different from trying to sell a PPV to millions of people in an arena and watching at home. After that it was time to eat a good breakfast and go workout. My mind was focused on getting into NOTBPW all day long, It's been a dream of mine for the longest time. I was pumped up. For the last 5 years I've been working the indy circuit trying to make a name for myself. The Canadian wrestling scene has really been going downhill for the last 5 years. NOTBPW has become the only horse in this town. They've bought out at least a dozen smaller Canadian promotions. I can testify to that seeing as I worked for almost all of them. Fortunately, George DeColt refuses to sell CGC to NOTBPW and 4C isn't even considered to be a threat. It was at a 4C show last month that NOTBPW's head of talent relations, Craig Prince 'discovered' me. I worked a match with Alan Parent. The match wasn't exactly very good, (I'll never understand how that talentless hack got over) but it seems to have been good enough for Craig to approach me afterwards. He told me he thought I could become a good wrestler in time. I was kinda hoping he would say that I AM a good wrestler, but I'll take whatever I can get right now. He offered me a tryout with NOTBPW. I was about to spurt out a pretty ecstatic yes as my current boss, and 4C owner, Troy Winner approached us. Troy may be short in stature, (i.e. he's a midget or little person of you want me to be politically correct), but his temper sure isn't small. Troy is a very territorial. Whoever signs on to be a part of his promotion had better stay there until they die or the company dies, which really isn't going to be very long in all honesty. Anyone who leaves his company he's going to make sure to "bury him three ways from Wednesday" as he says. Troy and Craig got into an argument people a mile away could hear. By the way, did I mention Troys voice isn't small either? Troy has had a vendetta against The Stones and the DeColts for as long as I can remember. He constantly tells everyone working for him, and anyone who'll listen for that matter, that he made Cliff Wilson (A.K.A. Dark Angel), R.K. Hayes, and John Maverick. Nobody believes him, or cares anymore either. Every time a talent scout gets anywhere near any 4C worker Troy has a fit and has security throw them out of the building. Luckily for me I was able to get Craigs card before he was kindly escorted out of the building. Actually it was more like picked up, dragged and tossed into an alleyway behind the bar the show was held in. Either way I knew how to contact him now. The next morning I called Craig and talked with him about the possibility of me getting a tryout. He told me that he saw potential in me, but he'd like to see a few more of my matches. He told me to mail him some tapes of my matches, so I did. After the initial phone call I awaited eagerly for the following weeks time hoping that the next phone call would be from Craig telling me I had a job. 2 weeks later I had a phone call. I rushed to the phone almost tripping over half the junk littering my apartment floor. I answered the phone and could hardly contain my excitement when I heard Craigs voice on the line. Like the true professional I am (usually) I kept myself from sounding like a giddy schoolgirl. The first words from Craigs mouth were "I watched the tapes you sent me..." My heart was beating a mile a minute by now as I still couldn't tell whether this was a good news or bad news phone call. The next thing he said "... and I liked what I saw. I talked it over with Dan and on the 26th we want you to work a dark match." My heart finally calmed down, although it picked right back up after the reality of this conversation set in. The only thing I could think to say was "Thank you. I'll make sure you I don't let you down." We exchanged a few pleasantries before ending the conversation. I couldn't get to sleep that night. I stayed up and watched some of my old NOTBPW tapes. I made sure to study the matches as closely as I could trying to break down every part of it. I did this with my entire collection of NOTBPW PPVs for the next two weeks trying to get myself as ready as I could to be part of the company, you only get one first impression after all. The next two weeks I felt like I was on cloud 9. I could even tolerate my dead end job, mostly because I didn't show up, but that's aside from the point. The only problem I ran into was Troy. A week before my tryout I had a 4C event to work. I came into the arena ready to put what I learned to good use, but was greeted with a cane shot to the gut from Troy. It seems someone told Troy about my plans with NOTBPW. Troy questioned me about 'my treachery' to which I denied. Don't be fooled by his size, he may be short, but that psychotic midget would still attempt to kill me if I left 4C. I kept denying any involvement with NOTBPW, but he kept trying to hit me with that cane. No matter what I said he didn't believe me. I kept backing away from the maniacal little guys wild swings and backed right into security. Troy ordered those jacked up primates to hold me and they did just that. Troy took his shots at me and then had security drag me to the back doors and throw me out. And when I say throw out I don't mean politely ask to leave, I mean I'm the ball, the dumpster's the basket and the meat heads are trying to make a 3-pointer. The next morning I went down to the court not to file a lawsuit, but to get a restraining order. Mini-Me is probably still mad at me. The next week I spent skipping work, studying matches, and healing up. Enough about the past though, let's get back to the present. The night had finally come for my tryout match. I had done everything I could to prepare for tonight. I packed up all of my gear and headed out to The Newfoundland Rugby Grounds. When I got there I got my bag out of the trunk and headed for the arena door. I paused for a moment before going in and took a look around. I took a deep breath and entered the arena...
As usual, all feedback, comments, etc. welcome

The Opponent
I stepped into the arena as the door closed behind me and took it all in. For most of the wrestlers here this is just another day on the job, but for me it's something more. This could be my big break, and for my sake it had better be. With Mini Me trying to kill me the only place for me to go in Canada is the big leagues, and since CGC hasn't expressed any interest in me this may just be my only shot. As is traditional for wrestlers I went into the locker room and made sure to introduce myself to everyone and shake their hands. It was surreal for me getting to meet guys I've been watching for years. The biggest thrill for me though was getting to meet my favorite wrestler and the guy whose matches inspire me to keep improving, Sean McFly. What amazes me most is how humble he is despite all of his success. Needless to say everything was going fine, that is, until I met my opponent. He was standing away from everyone except for one person. That one person being the one he was hitting on at the moment, and of all people it was Tamara McFly. I could tell she didn't want to have anything to do with this guy, so I made sure I interrupted the conversation, if you can even call it that, they were having. I went up and introduced myself to my opponent. The first words out of his mouth were "Who the hell do you think you are interrupting me like this bitch?" I could already tell this was gonna be a long night. My response was "You're Big Smack Scott, right?" I think anyone with half a brain could figure out where this is going now, too bad I didn't. He seemed to be getting pretty angry "Yea, what's it to ya bitch?" "I'm your opponent for tonight." That didn't seem to make him very happy. "What? What the f#ck kinda bullsh!t is this? You betta not be f#uckin' with me or I swear to god I'm gonna whoop your ass." Nice guy, ain't he? "I'm not kidding, here's the schedule." He snatched the line-up out of my hand and started looking it over. "Aw hell no. Someone must've made a mistake cuz I should be main eventing this place. I should be wearing that World title right now." I butted in to correct him "It's not the World Championship here, It's the Canadian Championship." Judging by his next response I think he's warming up to me, "Shut the f#ck bitch. This is f#cking bullsh*t. I should be picking up wins over the Stones right now." "Well you're wrestling me tonight so I suggest we talk about our match." "Hell no I ain't wrestling you." "What?" "You ain't ain't a real wrestler, you probably just some pizza boy playin some kinda prank on me." I gotta give it to Scott, I've never met anyone who's as much of a jackass as he is. Luckily for me Craig approached us both to see how everything was going. Scott felt it only right to file a formal complaint against our match (I should probably stop trying to make this seem like it's anywhere close to civilized) "What the hell are you doing sticking me into a dark match with some pizza delivery boy?" Craig tried his best to reason with Scott "This is only a tryout match Scott. If you do well here then you can get onto the regular roster." "This is some bullsh*it. I should be winning the World..." "Canadian." "Shut up pizza boy before I smack that nose into the back of ya face. Now where was I before some rude ass bitch interrupted me? I should be winning the World Championship tonight and makin' the big money." And I thought this kind of egomaniac only existed in TV and the Movies, guess I was wrong. Craig kept trying to talk sense into this guy, it's a lost cause, it really is. "All in due time Scott. If you want to climb the ladder that fast then you're going to have to put on a great performance tonight." "Big Smack Scott can put on a 5 star classic in his sleep. I can carry a mop to a great match. Big Smack Scott is the future of pro wrestling." I don't really think Craig is getting through to him, but at least I don't have to deal with him for a couple of minutes. "That's great. I love seeing some enthusiasm, but remember it takes 2 to tango." "This ain't ballet, this is wrestling." "I know that, but it takes 2 people to put on a great match." "And? What does this have to do with me?" "Whats 1 plus 1 equal?" "F*ck would I know?" Somewhere in the world a 1st grade teacher weeps. "1 plus 1 equals 2. It takes 2 to tango just like it takes 2 to put on a great match. I don't think I'm asking for much here when I ask you to work with him to put on a good match tonight." "So what you're saying is you want me to carry pizza boy over here to a good match?" By jove, I think the boy may have a brain after all. "Yes. That's exactly what I'm asking from you." "Fine. I'll do it but I want a bigger paycheck for this sh*t." After Craig left Scott went back to insulting me nonstop. At least he was willing to work with me now, although I still wasn't sure whether that was a good thing or not. Anyways, we talked the match over. He still referred to me as 'pizza boy' though. As soon as we were finished talking about the match I made it a point to stay as far away from Scott as I could. I could still hear him complaining about having to wrestle a 'delivery boy' from half way across the building though. I got into my ring gear as the time for me to get in the ring drew nearer. My feelings of utter joy from the moment I had walked in the doors had disappeared by now. This match was a double edged sword. On one hand this match would be the difference between me being employed or unemployed. The negative being, you guessed it right, my opponent. Scott is an egomaniacal jerk, and pretty braindead to boot. He wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise when discussing our match. This has been a long night already and while my tryout match should only be about 3 minutes I can't help but get the idea that it'll feel like an eternity out there trying to keep Scott from doing something stupid. Oh well, there's no time to think about that anymore. It's time to wrestle...
As usual, all feedback, comments, etc. welcome
