I remember shouting! I had finally won my first title, and not just any title, the Ring of Fire #1 Contender title; I knew I was next in line for a title shot. Too early? Maybe, after all, I was only 22 at the time. I let the feeling soak in, then I stood up, I felt faint, but I put it down to being due to my victory, suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my left arm, and after that, well, I don't remember. I awoke apparently 3 weeks later, laying in a hospital bed, my family around me, and several wrestlers that I had grown to consider as friends were there too. The doctor finally made his way over and examined me, explaining that due to the vicious chair shot I had received in my title match that I had gone into a coma following a minor heart attack, the doctor advised me to cut back on my wrestling, sports in general really, and maybe, give them up for good! I was at a loss; I couldn't comprehend what the doctor was trying to say to me, no sports? No Wrestling? What does he mean? For a while, a month? Two? I spoke up, explaining that I was next in line for the ROF Championship, but the doctor told me specifically, no more wrestling! I stayed in hospital for around 3 months after waking up, doctors continuously running tests, then re-running them, sometimes re-re-running them! A lot of people came to visit me, Ricky DeVoe, a youngster that was being trained at the ChainSaw Dungeon stopped by letting me know that he had seen me a year ago and wanted to get into the business to one day wrestle me, saying that he was shocked to hear the news of my possible retirement, he must have stayed near to 2 hours before leaving, thanking me for letting him stay and that he would come back soon if that was alright. A week later Ricky was back, but he had a small coloured man with him, I had just woken up so couldn't work out who he was, he looked about 5 foot 6, maybe 250 pounds, and was wearing a white vest, I could make that out due to the sheer brightness reflecting off it! After a brief hello, I realised that this man was one of my idols; it was Devon Brown, more commonly known as ChainSaw. He offered me the opportunity to work out at his Dungeon in order for me to return to full fitness, and, after much thought, I respectfully declined, informing him of what the doctor had told me. Of course, Devon was no stranger to being told to retire, he had retired last year due to breaking his neck several years ago and the strain of wrestling was affecting his necks movement, however, with his Dungeon opening up, he returned to the sport for a few months before retiring again. I came out of the hospital in October, now 23, having spent my birthday in hospital I came out to a lot of presents and a welcome home/happy birthday bash. To my surprise Devon and Ricky were there, this time they had a young guy called Tom Richards, another student of the Dungeon, and Philippa Beauson, Devon’s wife, with them. After a few meet and greets, Devon informed me of a plan of his to start up a promotion of his own, saying that with the financial backing of himself due to the money he had accumulated over the years through wrestling and gambling, he had enough to start up a promotion, and with his wife being the head of a national TV and PPV company, they had no trouble in getting deals there. Devon was very eager for me to work for him in some capacity, I tried to explain to him that even though I was eager to step back into the ring, I never could due to the fact that the doctors still did not know the true extent of the damage being in a coma could have caused me. He opted to go down another route however, he chose to offer me the position of head booker once the promotion finally got off it's feet. I stood in silence, thinking of the time I came out victorious due to someone’s booking, thinking that they had thought enough of me to give me the opportunity to go after the promotions top title, I wanted to be able to offer that to someone, maybe someone like Ricky, or even Tom, who seemed to have the same passion I did, but on hearing reports on him, he seemed to have a lot of potential, and maybe he could be the one I pushed as the next possible champion. After reminiscing on my title win, I agreed to take over the post, I wanted to take over as head booker, and I wanted to prove to everyone that I could still offer the wrestling world something! hurricanendp Posted July 31, 2006 Author Share Posted July 31, 2006 I stepped into my office to find that i had a letter from Devon, he had informed me of his primary set of goals for the first 2 years of the company, stay above debt, and to be more popular than i am now, shouldn't be too hard, he's given me $1.5m and has said more is available should we rake in a decent PPV buyrate. I personally had set myself a goal for just 4 days, hire referees, some new workers to fill the gaps, and also book my first card! I had already set 3 matches in stone, all title matches, all set to make an impact to the new promotion. The title matches i thought would be a great way to bring i new fans, let them see our champions in action, it was a sure fire way of getting some good TV ratings aswell, PPV matches on TV, and gives more people the opportunity to go after the titles. I immediately set out on looking for the new workers to fill the gaps, phoning, faxing, emailing anyone i could that would be good additions to my already fantastic roster. I felt cheeky in doing so, but i contacted British Samurai to see if he would be able to send a couple of workers my way for the Thursday shows, in return for me allowing him to use Tom Richards and Ricky DeVoe, fair enough, not great workers, but it allows them to train up whilst not being exposed too much. After a brief conversation and decision on who should be sent, we agreed on Adam Matravers being brought over, maybe UK Dragon, and then we would be bringing in announcer Justin Blackham to help out Tim Johnson. After finalising the contract for Adam Matravers i recieved a phone call from ChainSaw, he informed me that he had 3 out of contract workers that were interesting in coming into the UK for work, and thought i may be interested with them, i immediately set up an interview with them for the weekend, ChainSaw wouldn't tell me who they were, but told me that they were going to be used as Non-Wrestling staff, i decided not to attempt guessing, as i had my first card to prepare for. hurricanendp Posted July 31, 2006 Author Share Posted July 31, 2006 [CENTER]It was the night of my first show, having felt nerves before when it came to my wrestling debut, i thought i could handle it, but i couldn't, nerves hit me, and hit me hard, 2 hours of wrestling was booked in stone now, no changes could be made, i had already announced three matches, and i hoped those lived up to my expectations. I allowed myself time to find the perfect place to sit and watch my first show, i wanted to be alone for it, so if anything went wrong, i could at least see for myself without people pointing it out. After an hour of wait, we finally opened the doors to The Dungeon for the public, in they came, and after half an hour, we were at full capacity. I sat back, and allowed the night to flow. ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ Pre Show: ChainSaw walked out to greet the crowd and informed them that tonight's main show would be starting after 2 non-televised matches. Tim Johnson, Announcer and Ring Announcer for tonight introduced the two workers, Eric Future, and Curtis Jenkins, both looked at as bright future prospects. These two teams are very different, but compliment each otehr well, after several tags, Hiratima was still on the outside, with Flash doing most of the work. As this was an elimination rules match up, we saw Chad go first, with the odds firmly in High Flyers corner, Flash tagged in Hiratima, and he went straight to work on Kyle Graham, and, after Kyle reversed the STO into an Air Raid Siren, Hiratima was gone, and just Kyle and Flash were left. The two went at each other tooth and nail, and, when both had finally managed to tire themselves out, Flash hit the Flip Under Moonsault (something you need to see to believe!) for the victory and the titles! Winners and New CSDW Tag Champions: High Flyers [B]Match Rating [/B] - B+ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ Tim Johnson announced that the following matchup was a CSDW Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders match! Kid Lightnin' came to the ring first in his Low Rider, he did a few suspension pops before exiting to a huge ovation of cheers! oNYx was out next, coming to the ring in his Girgo Ameira Suit, and finally GraveDigger came to the ring with a few Druids lighting the way. [IMG]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/KidLightnin.jpg[/IMG] vs [IMG]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/Random_Male18.jpg[/IMG] vs [IMG]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b97/hurricanendp/JMGFleuette.jpg[/IMG] [B]Kid Lightnin' vs oNYx vs The GraveDigger[/B] oNYx and graveDigger well and truly out sized and out challenged Kid Lightnin' but after a few Lies and Cheats, Lightnin' managed to eliminate the smaller of the two oNYx, and set up a chance for #1 contendership. GraveDigger proved to be no push over mind, and hit the Crucifix Bomb, and very nearly got the 3 count, GD picked Lightnin' up by the throught and went for a ChokeSlam, but a quick roll under the arm and Lightnin' packed up GraveDigger with a small package to a roar of cheers! [B]Winner and #1 Contender to the CSDW Heavyweight Title:[/B] Kid Lightnin' [B]Match Rating[/B] - B+ ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ Finally the main event rolled along, ChainSaw made his way out to the ring once again, and the fans loved the sight of him in his wrestling gear once again! The title looks very expensive, or atleast very clean! Out next was Italian Stalian, who, surprisingly, is the holder of the Best of British championship, even though he is not British! Italian Stalion really put up a great fight, but it really wasn't going to be his night at all, as ChainSaw hit, well, a ChainSaw on IS for the victory. [B]Winner and Still CSDW Heavyweight Champion:[/B] ChainSaw! [B]Match Rating[/B] - A The match was over, and Kid Lightnin' made his way to the ring, congratulating his good friend ChainSaw on his victory, saying it would be a great honour to face him at Enter The Dungeon at the end of the month, ChainSaw put out his hand for a handshake, and, even though lightnin' took it, he immediately pulled him in and hooked him for the 3 Amigos, he went up top and hit a Frog Splash, then posing with ChainSaw's title to a mass of boos as the show fades to black. [B]Segment Rating[/B] - A ------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ [B]Overall Show Rating:[/B] B+ [B]Comments:[/B] Overall i think my first show went well, this being my first ever [TEW] game in the CornellVerse, i'm still trying to find out who woks well with who, and who is better than who, who's pushed where etc The rating could have been better yes, as all workers are primarily more over in the UK, and that's where the shows are held, so i may have top look into bringing in newer more over workers, or atleast finding workers that can get good matches out of others to help raise ratings.[/CENTER] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[QUOTE][B][U]Taken from CornellNews.com[/U][/B] It saddens me to report that the new ChainSaw Dungeon Wrestling Tag Champions "The High Flyers" Flash Majik and hiratima were involved in a huge brawl as a club in Birmingham this past week. Reports are circulating that the two may have been having dissagreements backstage recently, and after Hiratima's recent comments to a Japanese Radio Station, it would appear as though those reports are infact correct. The pair, who have worked all over the world together are held within high regard within the Tag Team division, and the two are also widely respected both in and out of the wrestling profession, but, apparently they no longer respect each other. The two long term friends are said to have got into their brawl at local PH "The Dungeon Pub" which is less than half a mile away from "The Dungeon", CSDW's venue for their TV shows. The pair were celebrating their recent tag title victory, this was their first together despite their 5 years of teaming together, however Flash told of his upset that hiratima didn't really participate in their match, and that Flash himself had to "carry" it throughout. Hiratima questioned the motives for such unhappyness, and, after a brief arguement, the two men began insulting each other in English, Spanish and Japanese. After two anonymous men tried to seperate the two men, hiratima broke free and grabbed a half full Beer Bottle and hit Flash over the head with it, using so much force that the bottle cracked, and left Flash with a 3 inch gash that exposed his skull. Hiratima continued to beat down on Flash, despite Flash not putting much of a fight up, Adam Matravers, who was celebrating a friends birthday at The Dungeon Pub, leaped in to stop Hiratima, without first realising who they were due to them both not wearing their masks. flash was reportedly rushed to Birmingham General Hospital and recieved 27 stitches, and stayed in over night for observations, the doctors have said however he should play little to no role in any matches at this upcoming Thursday's CSDW The Dungeon tapings. The punishments for both men, if any at all, will most likely be both men suspended, with Hiratima gaining a more severe punishment due to him being the one that assaulted the other.
