Press Release Pro-Wrestling RAGE Saturday July Week 1 2006 Michael "P.S." Hayes was a mega star for Mid-South Wrestling in the 80's. After being retired and acting as a road agent for the WWE for years, Hayes has decided he wants to return to the Mid-South area. He wants to be a part of something special and here is where Pro-Wrestling RAGE enters. This cutting edge promotion will pick off where Bill Watts left off by producing great wrestling in the Mid-South region. Great people have been brought in to work on this project. "Bullet" Bob Armstrong one of the all-times great in the Georgia area is the official road agent and his son Brad Armstrong, also a great wrestler, will work backstage as well. With Hayes as the owner and working as the colour commentaton the company has a lot of experience to dwell on. The first card will take place one week from today at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma. It will feature a tremendous card showing off all the top talent in RAGE. It is entitled The Beginning. The main event of the evening will show "Classic" Colt Cabana taking on The Damaja. Cabana, a great wrestler and former ROH World Tag Team Champion will have is work cut out for him by the former Danny Basham, who is a former WWE World Tag Team Champion and the man who dominated OVW for years. This should be a great contest. Cabana doesn't just have wrestling on his mind, as he will host his talk show "Good Times, Great Memories" with special guest James Mitchell. Mitchell says he is bringing in three monsters to dominate RAGE. Those three monsters will later take on the veterans Tracy Smothers and Alex Porteau, as well as the talented Matt Styker. Another huge match up as former WWE and WCW superstar Sean Waltman taking on the young bad ass Super Dragon. Waltman was one of the originators of the high flying smaller wrestler style in the USA, and Dragon is one of the top at it today. CM Punk, the former ROH World Champion, will take on TJ Wilson. TJ Wilson was trained by the Harts in the Hart Family Dungeon and is ready to try to make a name for himself in RAGE. Another young Canadian trying to make a name for himself is Shawn Spears from the Ontario area. He will face off against the ever powerfull Hotstuff Hernandez. Also in action will be The Heartbreak Express as they take on the young brother team of the Dempseys who were trained in ROH. Calling the action will be former WWE announcer Josh Mathews with Micahel Hayes on colour. Should be a great night of action, we encourage everyone to show up! The Beginning THE BEGINNING Live Saturday July Week 2 2006 at Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma infront of 1,000 people. Before the show officially started there was two matches that took place. El Generico defeated Tito Aquino in 5:32 by pinfall with a Mucho Hangtime Splash. (D) The Heartbreak Express defeated The Dempsey Brothers in 9:37 when Phil Davis defeated Derrick Dempsey by pinfall with a Double Goozle. (E) The surprise in this one is that Angel Williams appeared at ringside as the manager of The Heartbreak Express. The show offically began with CM Punk against TJ Wilson. It ended when Punk hit the Pepsi Plunge in 16:42 to win the match. It was a dissapointment as these two were expected to give a great contest. (D) Next Colt Cabana came out for "Good Times, Great Memories" his guest was James Mitchell. After Mitchell made some crazy claims out came Matt Morgan who attacked and laid out Cabana. Morgan is the first of three monsters Mitchell is bringing to RAGE. (E) Hotstuff Hernandez defeated Shawn Spears in 8:56 by pinfall with a Megabomb. Hernandez was accompanied by the lovely Angel Williams. She apparantly is going to have quite a presence in RAGE managing both Hernandez and the Heartbreak Experss. (D) Backstage Sean Waltman was interviewed by Michael Hayes, cutting a quick promo on Super Dragon. (C-) In a much anticipated match up Super Dragon used the ropes for leverage to steal a victory over Sean Waltman in 15:49. This has to give Dragon a lot of momentum in RAGE beating a veteran like Waltman. (C) The other two monsters brought into RAGE by James Mitchell were revealed as Necro Butche and Sylvester Terkay. With those two and Matt Morgan who can stand in Mitchell's way of running RAGE? The first three that tried were Tracy Smotehrs, Alex Porteau, and Matt Stryker who were easily defeated in 7:42. (D) CM Punk cut a promo saying he would win the RAGE Heavyweight Title next month at the tournament. (E) In the main event of the evening Colt Cabana pulled off a hard fought victory in 20:24 over The Damaja. This puts him as the favourite going into the Title Tourament next month. The show ended with Cabana celebrating in the ring. (C-)

Tidbits Tidbits July Week 3 Saturday 2006 ************************** The first-annual Champion Festival is set to take place August Week 2 Saturday 2006 as we return to the Graet Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma. The winner of this tournament will not only get the quater of a million dollar prize, but they will also become the first-ever RAGE Heavyweight Champion! First we would like to welcome Terry Taylor into the company. He was a big star for Mid-South Wrestling, WCW, and the WWE. A great technician, he will be a big asset for Pro-Wrestling RAGE working a road agent. In the first round of the tournament: Colt Cabana will try to get revenge on James Mitchell's Monster Inc. by taking on Sylvester Terkay. Cabana is the favourite, but will have a tough time with The Predator and with Mitchell at ringside, it will be double tough. Another member of Mitchell's stable will compete in the Champion Festival, as Matt Moragn will take on Tracy Smothers, the veteran. In an eagerly anticipated match up two men coming off victories at The Beginning, CM Punk and Super Dragon will square off. On the other end of the spectrum two men who suffered loses at The Beginning will face as Sean Waltman takes on The Damaja. Coming out of The Beginning both competetors complained to management, so it was decided that they will face each other. One man will walk out of the Fire Festival being 0-2 in RAGE. Of course the semi-finals and finals will also take place that night. More matches will be announced, later, as well.
