With Arlie's blessing I'm happy to make the following announcement. Total Pro Golf is available for purchase and electronic download exclusively at www.wolverinestudios.com for $24.95 USD. Total Pro Golf allows users to create a golfer and take him or her on tour. Hire caddies and coaches, purchase equipment and play some great golf to earn sponsorships and your professional tour card. Quickly sim or play out your rounds in a beautiful and rich 2D environment complete with real time scoring so you can keep your eye on the leaderboard as you shoot for the tournament championship. Total Pro Golf also has a course design tool which is free to download to quickly and easily create courses to be used for your seasons. Key Features of Total Pro Golf include : - compete on and move up and down between three levels of golf tours - smooth 2D gameplay complete with shot trajectory, sounds and crowd effects makes you feel like you're right there on the course - play multiple types of season events including majors, United States vs Europe or World match play events and tour qualifiers - fully customizable database allows you to edit anything from golfers to tours, sponsors and schedules - RPG elements force you to manage your coach, caddy, sponsors, equipment and schedule wisely so you don't go broke on the tour - easy to use Total Pro Golf Course Designer makes creating courses a snap Thanks for everyone who has shown interest in the game up to this point. We're going to get an updated demo out in the next day or so that lets you try out the career play plus see the HUGE improvements in game play. Shaun Sullivan spent some time adding in a really nice trajectory system for the shots and it looks much better than even in the first demo.

Sounds interesting, but I'm not going to pay more for a golf game than what it cost me to get Tiger Woods '06 for the PC ($19.99). I would like to see Tiger take on a more simulation feel than they have.. If you merged this idea with the great style of EA's golf engine then I'd check it out.. Until then good luck :) Golf is fun to play but I don't know how fun it would be to manage :P I throw my clubs enough in real life and heck I smash my controller when I mess up in Tiger...If I played a golf sim I'd be smashing my head against the monitor...haha.
Don't knock the game sight unseen come by and try the demo.
Will do...if it's not too big... I'm not saying the game sucks, I'm sure as long as it works it's a good game if your just focusing on it, but when I can play simulation golf and still simulate a career I'd rather do that. Combine the two (as I said) and then your talking. I will try the demo and then post my feedback. Golf is my favorite sport so hopefully I'll like it :) OUCH! It's 50 megs...haha that'll take about 8 hours for me to download (dial up)...Well assuming the server works with a download manager I'll download it bit by bit, night by night and eventually try it out. For some reasons some things don't like to work with download managers... I use DownloadThemAll for FireFox...really nice utility.
