jesterx7769
Free Spirits sometimes arrive late, I would like to see them sometimes miss shows. I think this would take the free spirit risk up a notch since when theyre late nothing really happens but an annoying email, but once someone misses a show, you might think twice about pushing them at the upcoming PPV. Also, maybe incorporate the disciplines to the type of personalities. For ex. after disciplining a free spirit correctly a few times, he becomes normal. Or vice versa, discipline a normal working wrong a few times, and now he doesnt care what you think or say becoming a free spirit. I know these are probably really hard (if not impossible) to code, but just my suggestions.
dcxbox
wasn't this in to a small extent in ewr?
vampmon
The problem i see is that you find out if they where late after the show has aired and their match/segment has already happened. So you would need to be notified "before" the show that the Wrestler was going to miss the show. Which changes how the system currently works. Maybe they could appear on the Unavailable list as "Didn’t turn up"
D. Boons Ghost
Great idea(s), as it gives the statistics posing as wrestlers more personality. I especially like the 'no show' notification beforehand, as suggested by vampmon. To go along with that, it would be nice if the AI disciplined its own overtly free spirited workers. While it might be a fluke in my own games, I've seen a lot of AI-controlled 'failed drug tested' working the same night they were busted. It would be nice if the AI removed the busted from their events for at least a week. If only - again, to give more personality to the gameworld around the player. Not all free spirits are going to be corrected by just being disciplined. I doubt giving Bruiser Brody a 'stern talking to' was going to straighten him up. Also for that matter, why do they have to become Normal at that? Maybe your disciplining has made them give up their 'Free Spirit' ways, but in turn has made them Bitter... or a Jackass... or a Joker in return. rajde
I think maybe the current system should even be scrapped. I think it could work better because the current system seems a little too vague. Instead, put some sliders similar to the sims. Have something like Joker/Serious, Nice/Jackass, Bitter/etc, kind of thing. So, you could have a slider at one end you have Joker and at the other end Serious.

Or a Nice Bitter... so it would be kind of too many personalitys and the AI wouldnt determin how they act.

Although to me that seems like it'd be hard to do. I do like they idea of personalities changing, but perhaps they should change from more things than just discipline. e.i. relationships, how they're pushed etc.
jesterx7769
Speaking of workers changing besides discipline, if this is incorporated into the game, I think Driven workers should become something bad if they complain about their push long enough. Since right now, Driven workers (most) of the time want to be one push higher than their recommended, but it doesnt do anything to you if you dont push them higher. But maybe after a long enough time they say "Screw you for not pushing me" and bam, free spirit

But that wouldn't work. I would think someone who is Driven and not getting the push they think they should get would become Bitter. I do like the idea of the way their career is being affected by your booking changing their personality...that would make sense.
Thriller
Becoming bitter doesnt happen over a matter of a few months, it takes years and years of midcard matches, bad gimmicks and what not.
Rick Arnold
Or you could just be Ole Anderson and skip all that.
