D-Lyrium
This is less of a TEW question, more of a question related to reality that maybe Lukie or someone could answer. How do Tours actually work? Is it a sort of system whereby each tour has events that build up to the final show, which becomes similar to a PPV in America? Like WWE's 'Road To Wrestlemania' (Which I know isn't a tour, but uses the same kind of idea as I'm thinking of... shows/storylines leading to one big event, where they all come to a head, then you start again). Or is it more just a series of 'normal' shows, but there just happens to be rest periods in between? I was just wondering, because I've never really paid much attention to how it works in reality. Jacko00
I would also like to know about this, for example could I run a tour like the WWE does and have just matches without the crowd wanting angles due to my company being sports entertainment? Lukiep8
It's a bit like that D-Lirium. Most tours will have a 'tour climax', which isn't always necesseraly the last show of the two, but it's usually the biggest or most important building. They might run a big match, like their main title, or tag titles as the main, and maybe some big undercard matches. But some titles are also defended on smaller shows on the tour. Instead of supplementing your regular schedule, it IS your schedule. I think this will be awesome, as along with all of the other changes, it allows the little blurbs about each wrestler to be even more accurate, for instance Hell Monkey doing a tour with WLW which increased his Japanese popularity.
