He used the steel fence as a weapon to tire Davids’ body. When he felt Davids was worn out enough he pushed him into the ring and the match actually started. Des Davids broke the first official move Antonio used, a Side Headlock, which gave him the chance to work on Antonio for a while, using mostly hard hitting punches and clotheslines and stuff. The action went back and forth after that, with Davids using his typical brawling moves and Antonio being the more sound technical wrestler. The end came when Antonio countered the Quarterback Sack with a dropkick, picked Davids up and hit The Sicilian Message (Head and Arm Suplex). Antonio celebrates like he just had the greatest victory of his life and leaves being full of himself. [B]Winner: Antonio Time: 8:48 Rating: D[/B]

The team of [B]D.C. Rayne [/B]and [B]Eddie Howard[/B], also known as Natural Storm, is in the ring and they obviously have something to say. [B]D.C. Rayne:[/B] [I]“Let’s cut right to the chase, shall we? Canadian Blondes, you’ve got something that’s ours. Something that belongs to us… the Mid Atlantic Tag Team Titles! We’re challenging you right here, right now, in the middle of this ring for a match with the titles on the line!” [/I] Loud guitar music (intro of “Smoke on the water” by Deep Purple) comes out of Stanley Halls high tech sound system and two long haired, fly looking guys come out. They are known as “[B]The Rock City Stars[/B]”. [B]Stan ‘The Man’ Manna:[/B] [I]“Why the hell would you guys have more right on a title shot than us? What have you guys accomplished more than us, lately? Nothing that comes to my mind!”[/I] [B]D.C. Rayne. Ryan got control in the early going after he put his thumb in Rayne’s eye. Turner successfully tries to get and keep Rayne on the mat. He keeps the pace down with long submission holds. When Rayne is able to counter he works on Turner’s legs, trying to keep the young high flier from using dropkicks and such. Turner is sometimes able to throw a quick punch at him, but nothing that really turns the tides. With Turner being on the ground, out of energy and in pain Rayne tags Eddie Howard in, the more hard hitting, powerful part of the team. In the meanwhile Turner was able to crawl to his corner and tag Manna in, who takes the fight to Howard by hitting a Running Clothesline. The two brawl it out for a while and Manna comes out on top and goes to the top rope and hits a Flying Body Press, but only manages to get a 2 count. Manna goes to the top rope again and tries another Flying Body Press, but Howard moved in time this time. Manna quickly gets up and tags in Turner again, who climbs on the top turnbuckle and goes for a Flying Body Press as well! He as well manages to get a 2 count. Howard was furious for getting hit by that move again and uses a Double Arm DDT and goes for the pin. Surprisingly Turner kicks out. Howard, noticeably disappointed, tags Rayne in again. Rayne uses the Storm Damage and the match is over. [B]Winners: Natural Storm Time: 14:38 Rating: E[/B] [B]Eddie Howard:[/B] [I]“Rock on, dudes!”[/I]

[B]Mean Jean Cattley[/B] comes to the ring, with his title on his shoulder. [B]Mean Jean:[/B] [I]“Aren’t you all bored of seeing me with this title? Well, I’m not… I’m bored however by the lack of worthy contenders around. Name one guy you know of that’s right here in the locker room that could kick my butt in the ring right now!” [/I] He holds his mic in the air, but the crowd became silent. [B]Mean Jean:[/B] [I]“That’s right… no one! Therefore I’ll have to find another way to amuse myself. And what’s more amusing than watching untalented kids wrestle for the highest spot they’ll ever get in this promotion, the number one contender spot? You feeling me? Then let me announce the first Mean Jean #1 Contendership tournament! The rules are the same as for regular matches, the only difference being that I’ll be the special referee. Oh… and I’m picking the four participants myself. We don’t want to end up with guys like Erik Strong competing for it right? It would be a good laugh, yes. But I want to face the second best in this company, me being the best of course, and thus I’m picking… Des Davids, Ricky Douglas, Mainstream Hernandez and Stan ‘The Man’ Manna! The first two of those competing today. Sorry Des, I know you already had a match today, but aren’t you happy I picked you first?” [/I] Mean Jean walks to the back with a grin on his face, getting his referee outfit. Once again he’s facing a more technical sound wrestler than him in Ricky Douglas. Douglas uses that to his advantage and locks in all kinds of submission moves on the already worn out body of Des Davids. Davids managed to counter with a power bomb and some hard punches on the head of Douglas and some headbutts but Douglas gains the advantage again. After multiple pinfall attempts Douglas finally gets the job done after using a Head and Arm Suplex. There was nothing special about Mean Jean Cattley being the referee, he did his job perfectly. The Canadian Blondes’ aerial abilities make up for their lack of power. The match goes back and forth a lot. Until suddenly The Gods of Thunder come out, accompanied by their manager, Karen Killer. They enter the ring and choke slam everyone out. The referee calls for the bell and the match ends in a no contest. He thereby dominates the first part of the match. Hernandez is surviving the various submission moves purely with his heart. He is able to counter Douglas and get onto his feet. What we see then is a magnificent comeback. He dropkicks the living hell out of Douglas and finally nails him with the Apparition #14.
