TNA: Unknown Future

Can you also predict lottery numbers? Congrats on the Kurt Angle going to TNA perception, I didn't think it was likely, I can admit that I twas wrong and I do think its big news for TNA (not as earth shatteringly big as some peeps feel, but I definately think its big for them), although personally I'd have liked to see Angle rest up for a good 6 months before hand, due to how his health was apparently on the edge. However he is the best of the type of wrestler that TNA should be looking to sign and whilst I don't think that alone it will change the face of the wrestling industry, its still great for TNA, as long as he isn't as unhealthy as other wrestlers made him out to be. :)

Im glad for TNA yet I hope he does get better if he hasnt already cuz in a press conference Angle said "Being with TNA feels like I found my home," Kurt Angle commented. "TNA will be the most watched show on cable TV - it's just a matter of time. Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love." so I hope he has changed up his life a little but he shouldve been gone for more then a month he needs to heal alot.

This is what I have to say. Angle debuts at Bound For Glory, he gets involved with a storyline with wrestler X, he fights wrestler X at the next TNA PPV. That gives Angle almost 3 whole months to still recoup and get his body back into perfect health. Plus, even if he comes in, wrestles a hard 30-45 minute match giving it his all (like only Angle can) he has then a full 2-3 weeks to recoup since TNA does not tour as much as the WWE does. The big E is on the road like 6 days a week and the travel is painfull for the workers. In TNA, he make gets less pay, but its easier on his body. I was also talking with a few other people on the probibility that he was not as hurt as he said he was. It was no secret that Kurt was getting unhappy in the WWE and he hated being sent to ECW. Maybe this was he way of getting out of The WWE and going to TNA. Remember Christian was in secret talks with TNA about a month or so before he joined them. Kurt could have been so pissed with Vince and the WWE that he decided to say screw you guys and called Jeff. Now I know this is a little far fetched, but anything is possible. As in the previous weeks Tenay and West wont let D’Amore get a work in edgewise despite Scott getting very angry. Tenay and West inform everyone that not only will we have the contract signing between The Nature Boy Ric Flair and The Samoa Submission Machine Samoa Joe, not only will Bill Goldberg be in the building, but in the main event we have the former friends and teammates AJ Styles taking on Christopher Daniels. D’Amore gets fed up and starts yelling at Tenay and D’Amore. He says that he is the best color man in the business today and he does not need to take this crap from them. He says that as everybody knows TNA has a new TV show called Revolution. Well Revolution is in need of announcers but instead of letting the two idiots sitting in front of him take over the job, he is going to go out and recruit someone who actually knows what he is taking about and they will call the new show. Starr says that he is the best X-Division athlete in the world today and he proved it at Clash Of The Titans when he beat not one, not two but three other guys! Starr says that as long as he is in TNA, the X-Division gold will stay around his waist. Then from off camera The American Dragon Bryan Danielson steps into view. He says that Starr may have been the greatest X-Division star in TNA, but he is the greatest wrestler in the world and he has come to TNA to prove it, and he figures that he will start with Austin Starr. The Paparazzi have all the tools in place to propel them to the top of TNA and beyond. All they need is the shot and that shot comes tonight when they decimate a veteran tag team in The James Gang. He says that he has no ill will towards The James Gang; they just represent the stepping-stone needed for The Paparazzi to make it to the big time. Angle got in the ring and grabbed a mic as Kanyon looked on. Totally ignoring Kanyon, Angle went on to say that at Clash Of The Titans he had one of the greatest matches of his life. He said that Samoa Joe was the most intense wrestler he has ever gotten in the ring with and has proud to loose to a man like that. However Joe never truly beat him. True he made him pass out, but, Kurt reminds everybody, he never tapped out. He says that he knows Joe has this thing going on with Ric Flair right now, but he wants another shot at him somewhere down the road. Kanyon starts to get very upset and tells Kurt to get out of the ring so he can continue his celebration. Kurt ignores him and goes on. He says that he came to TNA for the great competition and so far that is what he has gotten, but he wants to know who is going to step up to the plate next. Goldberg says that Abyss wanted to know who’s next, well Abyss is next! He said this past Monday on Global Impact, James Mitchell issued a challenge to Goldberg to face him in a match. Goldberg agrees and says that its Abyss’ funeral. He introduces first Samoa Joe and then Ric Flair. Both men come out to huge ovations from the crowd. Cornette says that he does not want any trouble between the two men and that he wants a clean contract signing. He says that in his hands is the contract for Honor Bound between Samoa Joe and Ric Flair. Its states that the winner of this match is to be placed at the top of the list of possible contenders for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. This is NOT a number one contenders match, however it will be a HUGE stepping-stone for either man. Jim first gives it to Ric who looks over the contract and then signs his name at the bottom. He has that ****y Ric Flair grin on and Joe grabs the contract and without breaking eye contact with Flair signs the papers. Cornette says its now official, at Honor Bound it will The Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe taking on The Dirtiest Player In The Game Ric Flair. At that moment both men stand up and toss the table to the side. They stand nose to nose taking smack to each other. Cornette try’s to pull them apart but both men shove him to the ground at the same time. Stings music hits and the NWA World Champion makes his way to the ring to a standing ovation. He says that at the PPV an old friend of his that goes by the name of Ric Flair showed up in TNA and challenged him to a match for the Title belt. Sting says that he would have granted that match in a heartbeat if it were not for Samoa Joe. So it seems that as of right now he does not have an opponent for the next PPV and since he is a fighting champion he will not sit idle by and wait for the Championship Committee to come up with the next challenge. He says that he is offering a one in a lifetime opportunity for one individual in the back to step up and challenge him for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. He says AJ is a former 2 time NWA World Heavyweight Champion himself and it seems, to Daniels anyway, that that would put up their in the list of challengers. He says that all his life he has been fighting the odds weather it was in the X-Division of the Tag Team Division, but now its time for a little something different. He says that as the manager of The Paparazzi it is his duty to inform everyone that they are tired of being on the back burner here in TNA. Stings music hits and the NWA World Champion makes his way to the ring to a standing ovation. He grabs a mic and says that at Clash Of The Titans he took that creepy little bastard Christian down a peg while once again defending his NWA World Title. So anybody in the back who thinks they have what it takes to go one on one with The Stinger. He says that just a couple of minutes ago he got finished beating one of the men who rank the highest here in TNA. He says that he accepts Stings challenge and that at Honor Bound, we are headed for the Era Of The Fallen Angel. yeah like i said before Stallion i think TNA will just have him cut some promos before Bound For Glory and then debut there and i think he was upset with WWE making him go to ECW even though Almaida said it was due to Kurts drug addiction thats why they let him go... and I dont think WWE wouldve fired him for that Randy Orton has had a lot worse things going on which recently failing a drug test and not being suspended but yeah I dont think theyll start Kurt right away cuz they know how injured he is PS keep up the good work on this diary its awesome so far:) EDIT: what was up with TNA promoting The Rocks new movie SpyHunter is that signs for something to come?
EDIT: what was up with TNA promoting The Rocks new movie SpyHunter is that signs for something to come?
I believe it was SpyHunter the computer game, which is produced by midway, same company that is making TNA game, I'm not going to say it couldn't lead anywhere in the future mind. As for diary, I really like the idea of Christopher Daniels vs Sting, hopefully they follow suit down the line in real life.
I agree Kurt Angle in TNA is AWESOME, but besides Joe and Christian and Sting and Rhyno. I cant see him having a really good fued.
I dont know, I can see some fantastic matches coming out of an Angle/AJ match, Angle/Daniels match, Angle/Senshi match, Angle/Abyss match. There are so many areas that Angle can go in TNA. He is such a versitile wrestler that he can have a great match with anybody. In case you guys have not seen, this was posted yesterday “Being with TNA feels like I have finally found my home. I had fun in WWE at certain times, but I was never really happy. Now being a part of TNA, I know I have a purpose. I feel like I am part of history, part of a company that is not only on the rise – not only going to be the number-one watched wrestling show in the world within a short period of time – but TNA gives me an opportunity to spread my wings. This company has no limits to where it can go. The sky is the limit and the main reason is because they brought the “real” back into wrestling and that is a perfect fit for the greatest wrestler in USA Olympic history. I have room to grow here and to help TNA grow. Working for these caring and very giving employers of TNA makes me feel like I have a purpose and that the sky is the limit. I don’t feel trapped or held back like I did the first six years in my tenure with the other company. They held me back. Now, our wonderful audience will see the real Kurt Angle doing what I love to do – real wrestling – and that’s what puts a smile on my face each time I come to work. I even smile when I think about it. TNA will be the most watched television show on cable television. It’s only a matter of time. Now, I get the opportunity and privilege of being a part of it. Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love. I will be here in some capacity for the rest of my life. That’s real…that’s damn real.” – Kurt Angle
