Monday, May, Week 1 Hulk is in the middle of the ring, mic in hand. “Hulkamaniacs, you may remember that last week’s main event was Edge vs The Hulkster for Edge’s WWE Championship. And the Hulk lost. But it wasn’t a fair loss, oh no. Edge had to hit me with his title belt to get the pinfall. Which is why I’m here tonight.” Hogan says, before looking straight into the camera (OOC: for the Titantron, and future DVD releases). “Edge. You got the better of me last week, caught me off guard. But let me tell you something brother, next time you won’t be so lucky. Next time, it will be The Immortal Hulk Hogan’s music playing, not yours. So you’d better wa-“ Hulk gets cut off by… (Rating: A*) The familiar opening riff hits, the smoke machine starts up and the strobe starts flashing… “On this day… I see clearly… Everything has come to light.” And Edge strolls down the ramp, title belt over his shoulder, arrogant grin on his face. He holds the belt up to Hulk and snatches his mic. “You want a title shot? You want another title shot this soon?” He asks, and Hulk nods. “Well, I don’t really think you deserve it, but you’ll get it, hell, you’ll even get it tonight.” Edge finishes. The crowd pops, even Hulk looks happy. Are we seeing a changed Edge? Nope. Edge smacks Hulk in the face with the title, flooring him. Edge kicks him out of the ring. (Rating: A*) “There. You got what you wanted. A title shot. Right to the head. Not what you were expecting perhaps? Well that’s too bad. You got your rematch, that’s all you’re gonna get.” Edge says. “This is as close as you’ll ever get to this title again.” (Rating: A) *Space where commercial break would be, arena goes dark so as to allow for the workers to leave* The Canadian flag appears on the screen. The crowd actually shows a little enthusiasm. “Tonight, you will witness a new era of wrestling history. You will witness the next generation of legends. Tonight you will witness the New Hart Foundation. It is my honour to introduce to you… The Stampede Bulldogs, Harry ‘Bulldog’ Smith and The Stampede Kid TJ Wilson…” Footage is shown of the two of them in Stampede and other places they’ve done appearances. “Teddy Hart…” Footage of Teddy from his work in Stampede. “And Natalie Neidhart…” Footage of Nattie from Stampede. “Prepare to witness history in the making…” (Rating: C-) (w/)vs The New Hart Foundation (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs The Representatives The New Foundation prove to be worth the hype, putting on a great match with the perfect blend of brawling, flying and technical prowess. Smith, Hart and Wilson are on the offensive for most of the match, doing some decent damage to both Grenier and Taylor. But Taylor gets a tag to Tomko, who uses big power moves to turn the tide of the battle, bringing down all three members of the New Foundation. Taylor and Grenier see this as a reason to jump into the ring and start stomping TJ and Teddy, but the ref puts a stop to that, and while his back is turned, Vince McMahon rushes out and low-blows Tomko. Harry gets a schoolboy. 1-2-3. The New Hart Foundation win. (Rating: C) And naturally, the Representatives are not happy about this, so after the New Foundation has left, they start beating on Vince McMahon. (Rating: C+) Backstage, William Regal and Mark Belton are backstage. “Tonight, the past and future of British wrestling will unite in a tag team match, against a promising… American team.” Regal almost sneers the word ‘American’. “Tonight you will see as the British once again assert their dominance of the world. Tonight you will see a British Invasion, as we take over the tag team world. In a few moments you will witness as William Regal and ‘Five Star Flash’ Mark Belton dismantle the Briscoe Brothers.” (Rating: C) *’Commercial’* vs Regal and Belton vs The Briscoes Mark Belton puts on another ‘Five Star’ performance tonight, as he flies around the ring, making the Briscoes look slow by comparison. Regal shows that he’s still got the technical prowess and brawling ability to be able to compete with the younger generation, as he performs the promised dismantling of the Briscoes. Jay does however make a hot tag to Mark (Briscoe, not Belton), who gets into the ring and starts beating on Regal, who is the legal man. Belton doesn’t like this, so he grabs a chair from ringside and gets into the ring with it, but the ref takes it from him and sends him back outside the ring. The ref then disposes of the chair outside the ring, but as he does, Belton makes a loud clapping noise, and the ref, who has his back turned, thinks this was a tag. Belton jumps up the turnbuckle and leaps off, hitting a Stamp Of Approval (The same as Chris Sabin’s Hesitation Dropkick) on Mark Briscoe, before scoring the pin. (Rating: C+) Backstage, Kurt Angle is standing by, mic in hand. “Next week, in my semi-final match, I have to fight the Undertaker. They call him the Deadman. Well Taker, I’ll tell you now, after I’m through with you, you’ll wish you’d stayed dead. Because I will tear you apart. I don’t care if you’re 7 feet tall. I don’t care about your magical powers. Because I know that I am faster, stronger and smarter than you’ll ever be. And I’m going to kill you Deadman, and this time, it will be permanent. It’s true. It’s damn true!” (Rating: A*) *‘Commercial’* vs Rob Conway vs Jimmy Yang In this non-title matchup, Rob Conway asserts his dominance of the midcard, using his superior size to keep the high-flying Yang on the ground. Conway finishes it with a belly-to-belly suplex. (Rating: C+) But of course, Conway is a bad guy, and just has to add insult to injury, as he picks Yang up for another belly-to-belly, and another, and another. He prepares him for a piledriver, when Matt Hardy rushes out. Conway drops Yang and rushes into the crowd as Hardy slides into the ring and checks on Yang. (Rating: B) Backstage, Vince McMahon is in his office, when the HooliganZ burst in. “Vince, we want our title match tonight!” Spanky says. “You want it tonight? You’re sure. You don’t want to save it until Judgement Day?” Vince asks. “No, screw Judgment Day. We want our payback tonight. We got screwed, and we want the titles that are rightfully ours.” London says. “Ok. You’d better get out there then, because your match is up next.” Vince says. The main highlight of the match being at around the 8 minute mark, Spanky sets Mercury up for an enziguri, but Nitro pulls him out of the ring. Spanky shrugs and leaps between the top and second rope, hitting both with a cross-body. London can’t allow himself to be outdone, so he jumps into the ring, runs across and does a springboard moonsault off the top rope, hitting both of his opponents, resulting in a ‘Holy Sh*t’ chant from the crowd. The match gets back into the ring and after a few more minutes, Spanky hits Nitro with the Sliced Bread #2, and as he is about to make the cover, Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid jump into the ring, breaking up the count, resulting in the ref ringing the bell for a DQ victory by the HooliganZ. London and Spanky get in Kashmere and Acid’s faces, but The Backseat Boyz just beat them down. (Rating: B-) The Backseat Boyz grab mics. “In case you two didn’t notice, Trent and I earned our title shot last week. But now we’re just being ignored because you two decided you wanted another shot. Well that’s bull**** and you know it.” Kashmere begins. “We’re going to be the WWE Tag Team Champions whether you like it or not, and we don’t care if we need to fight MNM and the HooliganZ to get them.” Acid finishes. (Rating: B-) We see Big Show walking backstage. All of a sudden Triple H jumps out from around a corner and hits Show in the face with a sledgehammer, busting him open and knocking him down. (Rating: A) *‘Commercial’* Rob Conway is backstage. “Matt Hardy, you couldn’t beat me at Backlash, so you made a little pledge to win my title. That’s just fine, you’ll get your rematch when I decide you can have it. But now you come out here and interfere with my personal business? That was a mistake, because now, I’m going to make your life a living hell.” (Rating: B) Randy Orton is waiting in the ring, a microphone in hand, looks like it’s time for his challenge. “Last week I defeated Carlito, one of the top competitors in the WWE, and another person who was eliminated in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament. Tonight, I’m here to challenge Booker T, a man who got through to the second round and lost. I know he beat me to get there, but that doesn’t matter, I had a slight cold that night, I wasn’t 100%. So Booker, do you have the balls to face me again when I’m at 100%?” (Rating: A) “Can you dig it? SUCKA!!!” Echoes through the arena, and Booker T comes down the ramp. “Tell me you did not just say that. You want to know if Booker T, the five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, WCW Champion, has the balls to fight a punk kid that he already beat a few weeks ago? I accept your little challenge. And I am gonna whup your punk-ass. Can. You. Dig. That… SUCKA!?!?!” Booker shouts into his own mic. (Rating: A) Coach: Well, speaking of the King of the Ring tournament, we’ll be seeing the second semi-final match next week, The Undertaker vs Kurt Angle. Joey: And didn’t Angle sound serious about that one. (Rating: A) *’Commercial’* vs Booker T vs Randy Orton This match is just as good as the last time these two met, the two heels brawling around the ring, both trying to cheat the other out of a victory, but in the end, Randy Orton emerges victorious with an RKO. (Rating: A) Orton grabs his mic. “John Cena! I defeated both men that you defeated on your way to the final. If I hadn’t been sick, you’d have faced me in the semi final last week, and you would have been beaten. That’s my spot in the tournament you have. And you’d better watch out, because I might just decide to take it back.” (Rating: A*) Cena’s music hits. “You want my spot in the tournament? Fine. Next week, you can earn it. I don’t care who I have to fight to win back my title, I’ll beat your ass next week, and at Judgement Day, I’ll beat whoever wins the other semi final-match.” Cena says, climbing into the ring. “You know just as well as everyone out there, I don’t stay out of anyone’s way. If someone wants to fight, I’ll fight. I’m not afraid. Orton, if you want some, come get some.” Cena says. (Rating: A*) “Ok.” Orton says and hits Cena in the face with his mic, before RKO’ing him and walking out, leaving Cena laying in the ring. (Rating: A*) Attendance: 300 Rating: B+

Vince headed back to the locker room after the show. "Vince!" A familiar Texan drawl echoes through the corridor, and it did not sound happy. "John..." Vince said, noticing it was John Layfield, a man who looks threatening on his own, but when backed up by Dave Batista... That was not a good thing. "Dave. How can I help you boys?" "How can you help us? How about putting us in the show? We were both in opening matches against nobodies. What is the meaning of this. We should be head-lining shows, not working the curtain-jerkers." John ranted. "We're not happy about this Vince. I hope you're going to do something about it." Dave adds simply. "Look guys, in case you haven't noticed, you're far from the only ones who aren't getting any time in the main show. The thing is, we've got a two-hour show, and that's all. We have probably the biggest stars in the world today, which is great, I admire the loyalty of our guys, but I can't place them all in the program, there just isn't the room. But think yourselves lucky, at least you got the opening matches. Look at guys like Rene Dupree, Heidenreich, Bob Holly, all those guys who have had one match since before Wrestlemania. We just can't keep everyone on screen. I promise that as soon as I get a new TV deal for RAW, I'll try to get us a deal for SmackDown, and then there will be plenty of room for all of the top stars, including the two of you." Vince explains. "You honestly think that you're going to get a big TV deal? Noone's going to take RAW after all the crap you've pulled this past year." John yells. "Noone's going to take it are they?" Vince began yelling. "Well, I've been in talks with America One, and they said they'd get back to me, which is actually quite promising." "You're kidding. No one watches America One." John laughs. "I'll bet you more people watch the return of RAW than watch your stupid little financial report." Vince says. "Oh yeah? How much do you bet?" John asks. "$100,000." Vince yells. "You don't have $100,000." Layfield sneers. "Ok, I'll bet... $100,000 worth of shares in this company, against $100,000 dollars out of your pocket." Vince counters. "You're on. Dave, you're a witness." Layfield says, as he and Vince shake hands. "I look forward to being your business partner." John Layfield says, as he walks away. "Vince... What did you just do?" Dave asks. "I'm attempting to save my company. If I win, I get an extra $100,000 to throw around. If I lose, John Layfield becomes a part-owner of WWE, and he has money, maybe not enough to dig us out of this, but enough to keep us afloat a little longer." Vince says. Batista smiles. "You're a clever man sir." He says simply. "Why thank you Dave." Vince replies, returning the smile.

Thursday, May, Week 1 2.30PM "So you've quit TNA for good?... Excellent. Don't tell anyone though, this is going to be a surprise... Ok, you can tell him, but noone else. And he's not allowed to tell anyone either. RAW is going to be huge. I'll see you Monday." Vince says into his phone, before hanging up and dialling his webmaster. "I've got an addition to the website for you to make, advertising RAW next week. Hardcore Holly is issuing a 'Hardcore Open Challenge'... Yes, I said Holly." Vince says. He hangs up again, and the phone starts ringing immediately. "Vince, it's G. I've got to say, RAW was a hit. You should have seen it from the crowd. The atmosphere was something, and it was good to be in a crowd who were actually excited about the Hart Foundation." "I was wondering when you'd call next. You were at the show?" Vince asks. "Yes, I was. And I heard about what happened backstage later. Are you sure about that?" "Yes. Either way, there's a little extra income for WWE. We only made around $100,000 last month." "What happened to the $1.2 million?" "Production costs, wages, miscellaneous costs, the usual crap." "Oh. Ok. $100,000 worth of shares would give him a pretty big share of the company, more than you would have afterward if I'm not mistaken..." "You are mistaken, between myself and my family, I'd still have a controlling interest, but he'll come close. Which means you won't have as much control either. So we'd better make sure that whenever we premiere, we manage to beat his show." "You're not going to beat the rating if you're with America One. So I suggest we prepare for the worst... But that can wait. I do want to congratulate you on the King of the Ring storyline, especially the little sidebar with Orton and Cena. It looks like it could be pretty big, especially if you keep building those two, they're going to be carrying this company one day. All three title feuds are looking good, I personally like the tag team scene best myself, but the IC and WWE Championships are entertaining too. Triple H and Big Show barely got a segment this week, but I assume you're going to make up for that. And we barely had a segment with the Reps, just them jobbing to the Foundation, with the assist from you of course. You're going to need to build that up a little better, we're going to have to begin with my plan soon." "Your plan? You mean the one involving that big guy Kurrgan? You're going to have to explain that one to me." "Ok, I will..." Saturday, May, Week 1 From PWFlashlight.com Yeah, I know, I know, my column's a day or two early, but there's a lot of sh*t going down in the world of wrestling. First up, Puerto Rico's two major promotions WWC and IWA:PR have both lost their TV shows due to bad ratings. On to happier news... The following promotions are starting new TV shows: OVW (OVW Featured Attraction) [NVCC] NWA-UK (NWA-UK: Passion) [STV] NOAH (NOAH: The Stars) [TNC Sport] AAA (AAA: Accion Viva) [Canal] CMLL: (Vivo) [TV Azteca] ASW: (ASW: Kickstart) [STV] And most importantly... *Drumrolls*... WWE (WWE Monday Night RAW) [America One] That's right, Vince delivered on his promise, and we're going to be seeing WWE back on Monday Nights, getting them back into the Monday Night Wars starting Monday, June, Week 1. Unfortunately, it's only a one-and-a-half hour slot, but it's better than nothing. Unfortunately, due to the lack of a TV deal, I was unable to see RAW (I wasn't flying to Canada), so you won't get a review out of me. However I did see iMpact, in time to see Jerry Lynn's X-Division Championship defence...

In this week's double main event, we see the second and third semi-final matches for the King of the Ring Tournament. Yes you read that right. We will of course be seeing the previously scheduled Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker match, but we will also be seeing John Cena defending his finals placing against Randy Orton, after a confrontation between the two at last week's RAW event. Also we'll see Hardcore Holly delivering a 'Hardcore Challenge' this week. (OOC: Yeah, I know, it's cheap using the same picture two weeks running, but John Cena's in the pic too. You can't see him.)

Monday, May, Week 2 vs Teddy Hart vs Jimmy Yang Teddy Hart makes his singles debut, and Jimmy Yang makes up for last week’s loss, chalking up a victory over the rookie in a hard-fought, high-flying match. (Rating: B-) Vince comes out, mic in hand. “After last week, I’d like to kick Mr. Grenier’s ass myself, but the doctor won’t clear me to compete. However, I’m not the only member of my family that wants a piece of him. So tonight, we’ll see my son and heir Shane McMahon, taking on Mr. Grenier.” Vince announces. (Rating: B+) “I’m not finished. To ensure they don’t interfere, I’m putting Mr Tomko and Mr Taylor in a tag team match against the team of Harry Smith and TJ Wilson, the Stampede Bulldogs! And that match is right NOW!” (Rating: C) (w/)vs(w/) Stampede Bulldogs (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs The Representatives (w/Mr. Grenier) Tomko’s size and power, and Taylor’s speed are matched by the Bulldog’s brawling and technical prowess, but the youngsters manage to pick up the victory, Harry Smith with the pin. (Rating: C-) We go backstage and see Regal standing by with Mark Belton. “For some reason, Vince McMahon decided not to put either of us in action tonight. It seems he doesn’t want us doing any damage to his superstars. But whether he likes it or not, the ‘Five Star Flash’ Mark Belton will be the greatest wrestler of all time.” Regal states, while Belton just stands there and tries to look menacing, which isn’t really working… (Rating: C+) *Break* vs Shane McMahon vs Mr Grenier Not exactly a MOTY candidate, Grenier picks up the win after Tomko and Taylor interfere. (Rating: B-) Vince comes out to make the save, but the Representatives beat the crap out of both of them. (Rating: C+) *Break* Hardcore Holly is standing in the ring, a microphone in hand. (OOC: A little part of me just died) “Ever since I lost that Hardcore match to Triple H, people have stopped taking me seriously. That’s going to stop. I’m making an open challenge. I will take on anyone in a Hardcore match, right here, right now.” He says. (Rating: C+) ‘Gold Digger’ by Kanye West (feat. Jamie Foxx) hits, and Antonio Banks comes out. “You think you’ve got a problem with being taken seriously? I lost to a man twice… no three times my size. And ever since, I haven’t been given the opportunity to be taken seriously. I’m sick of it. So tonight, I’m going to fight someone my own size. I accept your open challenge.” Banks says. No surprises as to the winner here, Holly by pinfall following an Alabama Slammer onto a chair. (Rating: C-) *Break* Carlito’s music hits and he heads into the ring, which is set up for Carlito’s Cabana. “Carlito has been watching RAW lately, and there is something missing. And without it, RAW was not cool. But now, I have brought the Cabana back. And my first guests are about the only cool thing left in the WWE. The WWE Tag Team Champions, MNM!” He says. MNM head out into the ring. “Tonight, there’s a match for the #1 Contenders to your titles. And Carlito wants to know, who do you think will win?” Carlito asks. “The important question is: will it matter?” Nitro asks. Carlito looks confused. “No matter who wins, we’re going to kick their ass.” Mercury says. Carlito smiles and nods in agreement. “MNM are the greatest tag team of all time. We’ll beat everyone.” Melina adds. Carlito nods. “Now that’s cool.” (Rating: B-) vs(w/) Backseat Boyz vs HooliganZ (w/Trish Stratus) The teams are evenly matched throughout this high-flying spectacular, which ends at the 15 minute mark on a time-limit finish. It’s a draw. (Rating: B) Triple H is backstage, sledgehammer in one hand, mic in the other. “Last week, I destroyed the Big Show. I hurt him so badly, he’s not even here tonight. He’s at home nursing his head wound. Big Show, you think you’re the most dominant star in the WWE? You’re wrong. It’s all about The Game. I am the King of Kings, and don’t you forget it.” Triple H says. A perfect mix of brawling, grappling and submission techniques, this match is at least 4 *’s. Kurt Angle gets the pin after a chairshot while the ref wasn’t looking. (Rating: B) *Break* Styles: And with Judgement Day only a few weeks away, we have two huge matches. First of all, there’s Matt Hardy vs Rob Conway for the Intercontinental Championship. The graphic for that comes up. (Rating: B) Coach: And Vince McMahon has deemed fit to give Hulk Hogan another rematch for the WWE Championship. The graphic for Hogan vs Edge comes up. Perhaps Orton was right, perhaps he should have Cena’s place. But then Orton misses an RKO attempt and walks into an F-U. Cena picks up the win. (Rating: A) Styles: Well at Judgement Day, we’ll be seeing the final of the King Of The Ring Tournament, between Kurt Angle and John Cena. The graphic appears. Sunday, May, Week 2 From PWFlashlight.com It's been two weeks now since I've seen a WWE show, and it's absolutely killing me. You people don't understand. I haven't missed RAW since it began. And now, I've missed two in a row. Two in a row. Of course it's unavoidable, but I'll make up for it. I've already preordered my 'WWE RAW: The Dark Years' DVD from WWE.com. A 4 disc set, containing all 4 shows between the USA Network dropping RAW, and America One picking it up. Of course, the set isn't finished yet, there's still 2 shows to go, including tomorrow night's show. And you know WWE's going to have something special planned for the TV re-debut, we just don't know what. This columnist is almost drooling in anticipation. And the icing on the cake: Jim Cornette is replacing Jonathan Coachman as the colour man on RAW, so not only do we get to listen to one of the best in the business, we also don't have to listen to Coach all the time, which everyone agrees, is a good thing. That guy generates more X-Pac Heat than even X-Pac himself. And will Corny's new job interfere with his job as an ECW road agent? Now on to other wrestling news: Vince Russo stripped of the WCW Television Title, just to regain it again a week later. What are Tod Gordon and the booking team thinking? In fact, what are they doing giving Russo the title, and not a spot on the booking team? And why is there still no WCW Cruiserweight Champion?

Monday, May, Week 3 Joey: Hello and welcome to Monday Night RAW, tonight we’re at the Amazura Concert Hall in Jamaica, New York. And my broadcast colleague is the legendary, Jim Cornette. Corny: Well I wouldn’t say ‘legendary’ Joey, but thank you for that introduction. Tonight we’re opening with a match betw- Joey: Sorry to cut you off, but there’s something going on backstage… The camera goes backstage and we see Triple H running for his life. Close behind him we see Big Show in pursuit. The run past various backstage workers and wrestlers. Joey: Sorry folks, but we’ve got a match starting out here. (Rating: A) vs Jon Heidenreich vs Chris Masters Pretty much what you expect. Heidenreich almost breaks out of the Masterlock, but Masters released it of his own free will. The match ends with a huge superplex by Masters on Heidenreich, with Masters getting the cover. (Rating: C) We go backstage once more, as we see Triple H retreat into the carpark, closing the door behind him. Big Show barrels up the corridor and straight through the door, but there is a car driving away, which he chases to the end of the driveway. (Rating: A) *Break* Hardcore Holly is in the ring, waiting for a new contender for his Hardcore Challenge. Rene Dupree’s music hits and Dupree comes out. “You think you’re the toughest person in the locker room. You Americans are always so arrogant. I will prove that I am simply better, because I am French.” Dupree says. (Rating: C+) Hardcore Match vs Hardcore Holly vs Rene Dupree Almost completely evenly matched, it’s only Holly’s experience that gets him over the line. Holly wins with an Alabama Slammer onto a garbage can. (Rating: B-) Holly celebrates his win in the ring. And then a familiar theme hits. The crowd goes wild. Joey: You’ve got to be kidding me, it can’t be… Jim Cornette: Yes, it is… And he comes out, face painted and glowing in the dark. The crowd pops even bigger. Joey: It’s him! It’s JEFF HARDY!!! OH MY GOD!!! And he’s right, it is Jeff Hardy. He does his little dance/head banging thing down the ramp and into the ring, jumping on each turnbuckle in turn. He grabs a mic. “You come out here and ask for a Hardcore Challenge, and then feel good for beating a rookie and a Frenchman? How about you take this Hardcore Challenge to the extreme at Judgement Day? Hardcore Holly vs Jeff Hardy.” Jeff says. Holly just nods. (Rating: B+) *Break* Big Show is in Vince’s office. “Vince. Give me a rematch with Triple H.” Big Show looks pissed off at having lost Triple H. “Show. As much as I would love to give you that rematch, I have other plans for Triple H.” Vince replies. “I don’t care. Triple H has attacked me, I want to get my revenge. Are you just going to ignore everything he’s done?” ”I’m afraid so.” Big Show gives Vince a death look and storms out, slamming the door behind him. (Rating: A*) “You can come out now.” Vince says. The door to Vince’s private bathroom opens and Triple H steps out. “Thanks for that Vince.” HHH says. “Now, about my title shot…” “I’ve got the contract right here, just waiting on your signature.” Vince replies, picking up a clipboard from his desk. “Great. I’ll just look over it, and have my lawyer read it over and I’ll get it back to you.” Triple H replies, taking it from him and heading out the door, looking both ways before exiting. (Rating: A) (w/)vsvs(w/) Paul London (w/Trish Stratus) vs Trent Acid vs Johnny Nitro (w/Melina) With their tag team partners banned from ringside, these three meet in almost equal circumstances, putting on a great highflying match, however Melina manages to trip up London, before Nitro gets the cover. (Rating: B+) Joey: And that’s just a preview for Judgement Day this Sunday. Corny: That’s right, at Judgement Day we’ll be seeing the Tag Team Champions MNM defending their titles in a Triple-Threat Ladder Match against the HooliganZ and the Backseat Boyz. (Rating: B) *Break* Backstage we see Batista and Vince McMahon talking. “So you’ll take my offer?” Vince asks. “You’ll seriously give me the World Title shot at Summerslam?” Batista says. “If you deliver.” Vince replies. “Then we have a deal.” Batista replies, and the two shake hands. (Rating: A*) The camera turns to see Big Show beating Triple H up, and grabbing the contract. (Rating: A*) Vince rushes over. “What the hell do you think you’re doing!” He yells. “Vince, when Hunter comes to, you can tell him that if he wants this title shot contract back, he can take it. The only catch is, it will be suspended 15 feet above the ring at Judgement Day. And he has to get past me. Looks like there won’t just be one Ladder Match at Judgement Day.” Big Show replies. (Rating: A*) “You think you’re funny?” Vince yells. “Well maybe you won’t be laughing later tonight. Because you’re in our main event. Tonight it’s going to be The Big Show, facing The Undertaker!” (Rating: A*) *Break* vs(w/) Matt Hardy vs Mark Belton (w/William Regal) Surprisingly, the two are almost evenly matched, but Rob Conway comes out and attacks Matt Hardy, resulting in the referee ringing the bell for a DQ. (Rating: C+) *Break* Backstage we see Coach standing by with Carlito. “Carlito, tonight you’re facing off against Booker T. What are your feelings on that match?” Coach asks. “You want to know Carlito’s feelings? Doesn’t that seem a little odd to you? You want to know about a man’s feelings? That’s not cool. But what is cool is what I’m going to do to Booker T tonight. I’m going to make him wish he’d made it to the King of the Ring tournament, just so he could get tonight off, just like Kurt Angle and John Cena. Booker, I’m going to beat you, and then I’m going to spit in your face.” Carlito replies, tossing his apple, before taking a bite and spitting into the camera. (Rating: B) The camera man wipes off the lens just as Matt Hardy shows up. ”Matt, can I get a word?” Coach asks. “A word? Coach, I’m going to destroy Rob Conway at Judgement Day. And then I’m going to take that Intercontinental Championship.” Matt replies, before leaving. (Rating: A) *Break* “I am being joined at this time by the man who goes into Judgement Day as the Challenger to the WWE Championship, Hulk Hogan!” Coach says, and the camera zooms out to show that he’s not lying. But before Hulk can get a word in, Edge blindsides him with a chair. The two brawl around for a while, but Edge gets the upper hand, putting Hulk through the snack table. (Rating: A) Corny: Well those two will be meeting in a No Disqualification Match at Judgement Day. The graphic appears on screen. (Rating: A) Joey: Not to mention the King of the Ring Tournament Final between Kurt Angle and John Cena. Graphic appears on screen. (Rating: A*) Corny: And this match has just been added to the card. We’ll be seeing the Representatives facing Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and... wait for it… BATISTA! Joey: That explains him making a deal with Mr McMahon earlier. But then out of the crowd comes Triple H, who grabs a chair from ringside and levels Big Show with it, resulting in a DQ. (Rating: A) Triple H smacks Show in the head again. “You want me at Judgement Day? Fine! The Big Show vs The Game in a Ladder Match for a guaranteed title match.” Triple H shouts, before hitting Big Show again. (Rating: A*) Overall: A Attendance: 850

TJ Wilson gets the pin. (Rating: B-) A hype video plays for the match between Matt Hardy and Rob Conway, showing the endings of their previous matches and Conway's attacks on Hardy. Segments from the promos both of them cut play in the background. As soon as Conway sees Matt gaining the upper hand, he slips out of the ring and runs up the ramp, heading backstage, giving Matt the win by a count-out. (Rating: B) A hype video plays for the Six Man Tag match, showing the previous encounters between the Representatives and the McMahons, and Vince enlisting Batista and promising him a title shot at Summerslam. (Rating: B-) vs Batista, Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon vs The Representatives This match is under tornado rules. For the majority of the match, Shane fights Grenier, Batista fights Tomko, and Vince fights the smallest man in the ring, Taylor. However, Grenier overpowers Shane, and Batista beats Tomko down, so they switch. Not long after, Batista covers Grenier for the win. (Rating: C+) The camera goes backstage, where Jeff Hardy is applying the last of his body/face paint. Matt Hardy comes up to him. "Good luck out there bro, Holly's a tough son of a bitch." He says, patting him on the back, smudging a little bit of paint. (Rating: B+) "I am here with the #1 Contender to the WWE Championship, Hulk Hogan." Coach says. "Hulk, tonight, you have the chance to win that championship for the record 8th time, making it the 16th time you've held a world title including the AWA and WCW titles. This will guarantee your place in history as the greatest world champion of all time. How do you feel?" "How do I feel? Let me tell you something Coach. I am already the greatest world champion in the world. There is noone who has held a real world title as many times as I have. And tonight, Edge! I'm going to take that title from you, and further cement my place in history." Hulk replies. "Well, technically, the greatest world champion is Ric Flair with 22 world title reigns..." "Ric Flair? Ric Flair is nothing! Ric Flair is the most overrated wrestler in the world. Just look at who he works for. WCW. I made that company into the greatest wrestling product in the world. And look at it now. A shadow of its former self. I'll do the same with WWE, just like I did in the 80's. WWE is going to the top, with Hulk Hogan at the forefront, as WWE Champion!" (Rating: B) Hardcore Challenge vs Hardcore Holly vs Jeff Hardy The two of them brawl around the arena, both bleeding after the first 5 minutes. They use every weapon imaginable, chairs, tables, ladders, kendo sticks, garbage cans, stop signs, cookie sheets, the works. It even solicits a comment from Joey Styles: "It brings back memories of the old days, two guys, beating each other to death right here, in the old ECW Arena." Jeff picks up the cover after a Swanton off a ladder. (Rating: B-) Hype video for MNM vs HooliganZ vs Backseat Boyz. (Rating: B) A video plays, showing the finish of every King of the Ring match, as well as the whole Cena/Orton thing. It's prett evenly matched, until Angle inadvertantly whips Cena into the referee, taking him down. Cena gets an FU and makes the cover, but noone is there to make the count. Then, Orton runs into the ring and RKO's Cena, before heading into the back. Angle gets up and gets Cena in the Angle Lock. Cena taps out, just as the ref comes to. (Rating: A) The pyros go off, and music plays (think King Booker's current theme). Kurt Angle heads up the ramp and sits down on the throne sitting at the top. The ref puts the crown on his head and gives him his sceptre. Angle just yells out stuff like "Yeah! I'm King! It's True. It's DAMN True!" The match ends with both workers at the top of the ladder, punching each other. Then, out of nowhere, Big Show grabs Triple H's throat and hits him with a chokeslam from the top. Big Show gets to his feet, sets the ladder back up and climbs it, grabbing the contract at the top and signing it. (Rating: A) Hype video for Edge vs Hogan. He then Hulked Up, did the "YOU!!!" thing, bodyslam, Big Boot, Legdrop. 1...2...3!!! Hulk Hogan wins the title! (Rating: A*) Overall: B Attendance: 760 Buyrate: 143,541
