Sunday, May, Week 3 From PWFlashlight.com Now, on to WWE. Once more, I didn't see RAW, but in a week's time, I'll have the DVD, and I'll have it watched in it's entirety before the premiere of WWE RAW on America One. What I did see however, was Judgment Day, which finished about half an hour ago. Of course, that meant I missed TNA's Turning Point, but I'll catch the replay. Judgment Day had a lot to live up to after last month's Backlash, which was a hell of a show. However, JD was a bit of a let down. Of course, we can blame that on the general fanbase not being up to speed on the current storylines, so we weren't as in to the matches as we should have been. The matches were solid but the promos and videos weren't enough to make us care about them. A couple of major points though... Hulk Hogan is again the WWE Champion, and had some choice words to say about Ric Flair, the greatest world champion ever, but that can be expected, as the Monday Night Wars are still in full swing. I'm expecting a shot at Jeff Jarrett any day now. Matt Hardy and Rob Conway is still escalating, after Hardy got the count-out victory. We won't be seeing the end of that one until at least next month. Big Show has a guaranteed WWE Championship match, the date and location aren't specified, but I doubt it will be right away, as noone wants to see a face vs face Title match, and it would mess with this massive push Edge is getting. Batista has a guaranteed title match at Summerslam, so it's pretty likely the whole Edge/Hogan thing will have ended by then. The Backseat Boyz are the Tag Team Champions, which I personally think is a bad idea, considering how new they are to the mainstream scene. However, it does allow for a little diversity in the tag team division, allowing HooliganZ vs MNM to continue, without stopping the rest of the division from being utilized. There was no sign of 'Five Star Flash' Mark Belton, which isn't really a bad thing, he's about as stale as week old bread, I don't see what the WWE sees in him. It does give Regal something to do though, it's good to see him back in the States. Perhaps a tag team run would be a good way to use the both of them. The Stampede Bulldogs continue their undefeated streak, getting the win over the much more deserving Briscoes. And Teddy Hart is apparently still without a win in singles competition, which evens out the New Hart Foundation's record a little. But the Bulldogs aren't the only undefeated team in WWE, there's also the current Tag Team Champions, the Backseat Boyz. Granted, the majority of their victories have been handicap matches, while the Bulldogs have won all their matches under fair conditions. Perhaps they're leading up to a confrontation. The return of Jeff Hardy has got me excited, and that was a hell of a match tonight. Now on to ROH...

At Judgment Day, Hulk Hogan became world champion for the 16th time. But what will Edge, the former champion, have to say about that? And of course there's the new tag team champions the Backseat Boyz. MNM are invoking their rematch clause in two weeks, but they'll be in singles competition tonight on RAW.

Monday, May, Week 4 Pyros go off and ‘Real American’ hits. The NEW WWE Champion Hulk Hogan comes out and plays to the crowd for a while. He lifts a mic to his mouth and goes to speak when… (Rating: A*) Kurt Angle’s music hits and he comes out, still wearing his robe and crown, and carrying his sceptre. “Cut the music… Hulk, you may be champion, but I am the King of the Ring! Do you know what that means? I am the first man since Bret Hart to hold this title twice. And it also means I can have a title shot whenever the hell I want. But I’m not going to waste it on you. My old buddy Edge is going to take that title back pretty soon, I promise you. But what I came here to do is to tell you to get the hell out of my ring, I’m here to celebrate my victory on Sunday. I’m more deserving than you are Hulk, and you know it. It’s true. It’s DAMN true.” Angle says. “More deserving? More deserving? Randy Orton attacked your opponent and helped you win. I defeated Edge fair and square. You think you’re more deserving? I am now a sixteen time world champion. Noone in this industry holds a candle to that achievement. Hulk is on top, and it’s going to take more than a cheating ‘King’ to knock me down from my spot.” Hulk replies. (Rating: A*) Vince McMahon’s music hits. “It looks like you two have some issues about who’s the best. Well, seems to me, the best way to solve this is to put the two of you in the ring. So that’s why tonight’s main event is going to be Hulk Hogan facing Kurt Angle in a non-title match.” Vince says from the stage, to a huge pop. “Now get the hell into the back, I have another announcement to make.” Vince says. (Rating: A*) As the two workers head out into the back, Vince walks out into the ring. “Now, those of you that saw Judgement Day will know that the Intercontinental Championship match ended on controversial terms… Matt Hardy won the match, but in a way that stopped him from taking the title. Now, I think that means Matt Hardy deserves one last shot. Which is why, next week on RAW… In the first RAW televised on America One, we’ll be seeing a Judgement Day rematch! Matt Hardy will be facing Rob Conway for the Intercontinental Championship!” Vince says, to another large pop. (Rating: B) But the crowd’s happiness is cut off by a sudden chairshot on Vince by Mr Taylor of the Representatives, who seems to have emerged from the crowd. Mr Tomko runs down the ramp to join him, both men laying the boots in to him. Grenier walks down the ramp next, with a ****y smile on his face. “You shouldn’t have crossed us Vince.” He shouts, before climbing into the ring. Taylor hands him the chair, and he brutally hits Vince in the head, before they’re chased from the ring by security and referees. (Rating: B-) *Break* vs(w/) Johnny Kashmere vs Joey Mercury (w/Melina) Both competitors’ partners are absent from ringside, clearly preparing for their own matches, but Mercury clearly has an advantage in Melina. However, she does little to alter the match, Mercury wins this one on his own, cleanly. (Rating: B) *Break* John Cena is standing in the ring, the crowd seems fairly happy about it too. “Last night, I was screwed out of winning my match with Kurt Angle in the final of the King of the Ring tournament. And that was because of one man… Randy Orton. Which is why I’m calling you out! Next week, on the television return of Monday Night RAW, John Cena vs Randy Orton!” Cena sounds pretty p*ssed off. (Rating: A) Randy Orton’s music hits. “John, why would I want to do that? Fighting you wouldn’t prove anything. I was just making sure you didn’t win the tournament after taking my rightful place. I don’t want to fight you. These people don’t want to see us fight. So there is absolutely no reason for us to fight.” Orton teplies. (Rating: A*) “Oh really? It won’t prove anything? How about you prove to us that you actually have a set of balls in those stuffed tights of yours.” The crowd laughs, and Randy looks pissed. “How about you prove to us that there’s a member of the Orton family who has the spine to face a challenger in a fair fight, instead of attacking them with their backs turned. Or how about we just fight to see which one of us is truly the future of the industry. Is it the third generation superstar Randy Orton, or the low-class thug John Cena? Or are you too scared of the result?” Cena taunts. (Rating: A*) ”I see what you’re trying to do, you’re trying to mess with my head. But the Undertaker tried mind games on me too, and you remember how that ended don’t you? With him crucified on national television. And Cena, you’d better pray that the same doesn’t happen to you next week on RAW. That’s right. I accept your challenge.” Orton throws a ****y smile to Cena, who looks very happy with his decision. (Rating: A*) *Break* vs(w/) Trent Acid vs Johnny Nitro (w/Melina) Once again, both men are without their partners, but this time, Melina does interfere, distracting Acid so Nitro can get a schoolboy pin on him for the win. (Rating: B+) Backstage we see Vince sitting in the first aid room, with his head bandaged, holding an icepack against his head. JBL walks in and laughs. ”Vince, I just thought I’d stop by and remind you about our little bet. It looks like next week is pay day. And I think I know exactly what to do with my winnings too… I’m going to sell it to the guys who did this to you. Kind of adds insult to injury doesn’t it? I mean, those guys you’ve been fighting with for weeks become your business partners. It’s kind of funny really.” JBL says. “You think it’s funny do you? Well I’m still in control of the company right now, and I don’t like your attitude. So how about you go out into that ring and have a match later tonight… Against the Big Show. Now that’s something I find funny.” Vince says. JBL doesn’t look happy at all, as he storms off. (Rating: A*) Rob Conway comes in after he leaves. “Vince, you can’t put me in a match with Matt Hardy next week. You’re showing favouritism. It’s not fair. In fact, I refuse to fight him next week.” The crowd can be heard booing, even inside. (Rating: B+) “If you refuse to fight, then I will strip you of the title. So I suggest you start preparing for next week, because that match is still going to happen. Now get the hell out of here.” Vince yells. (Rating: B+) Carlito is in the ring, and it’s set up for the Cabana. “Tonight, Carlito has a surprise for you. My guest on the Cabana is one of the three guys who got a title shot last night at Judgment Day. My guest is… Batista.” Carlito says. Batista’s music hits and he comes out and does his thing on the stage, before walking down the ramp and climbing the stairs. He eyes Carlito warily for a moment, before stepping through the ring ropes. “Batista, congratulations on getting a title shot at Judgement Day, even though Carlito thinks you don’t deserve it.” Carlito says. “I don’t deserve it? What the hell are you talking about?” Batista doesn’t look happy. “All you did was beat up a bunch of uncool guys for the boss. The Big Show had to fight Triple H and Kurt Angle had to win the King of the Ring tournament. But you lost in the first round of the tournament, and you got a title shot anyway. That’s not cool, but Carlito doesn’t care. I know that I’m going to get my title shot some day.” Carlito says. “You are? What makes you so sure? You haven’t won a match in weeks. Hell, I could beat you without breaking a sweat.” Batista replies. “You think you can beat Carlito? Why don’t you put your money where your mouth is? Next week, Carlito vs Batista.” Carlito challenges. “That’s cool.” Batista says, smiling. (Rating: A) *Break* vs (w/) William Regal and Mark Belton vs Stampede Bulldogs (w/Nattie Neidhart) The fastest rising team in the WWE looks evenly matched with the WWE’s fastest rising Star (excuse the pun) and his manager. However, Harry Smith forces a tap-out by Regal with a Bulldog Clutch (Camel Clutch). (Rating: B-) Teddy Hart comes out from backstage, with a mic in his hand. “I’m sick of Harry getting all the glory in this family. I’m a Hart, by name and blood. I’m going to prove myself to you people, if it kills me. So I’m making an open challenge tonight. I’m going to end my losing streak, and start a winning streak like Harry and TJ. So who’s it going to be?” He asks. (Rating: B+) *Break* Teddy is in the ring, everyone but Nattie has left. ”Who’s it going to be? Huh?” Teddy shouts. Jeff Hardy’s music hits. “I’ve had pretty good luck with answering open challenges lately, so I’ll accept yours too.” Jeff says. Teddy just gestures for him to come into the ring. (Rating: B+) (w/)vs Teddy Hart (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs Jeff Hardy Teddy puts in a good effort in this match, just like always. But he just can’t get the job done, as Jeff Hardy hits a Swanton Bomb on him and gets the cover. (Rating: A) *Break* Big Show’s music hits and he walks down to the ring. “Last night I won a brutal ladder match for a guaranteed title shot, for whenever the hell I want. I wanted to use it this week, but something else happened last night to change my mind. You see, I was more than happy to beat the living hell out of Edge. But instead, Hulk Hogan won the title. Now, I respect him, which is why I’m saving this title shot for another day. And Triple H, I haven’t forgotten about you. You see, I’m keeping this title shot so I can remind you of what you lost. You’ve made my life unpleasant, I’m going to do the same to you, until I tire of the game.” Big Show says. (Rating: A*) vs Big Show vs John Bradshaw Layfield Big Show beats the crap out of JBL all match. It looks like it’s over when Big Show hits a Chokeslam, but Triple H runs out from the back and breaks up the pin by lodging a sledgehammer in Show’s back, resulting in the ref calling for a DQ victory. (Rating: B+) *Break* vs Kurt Angle vs Hulk Hogan Angle just makes Hogan look old in this match, he runs rings around him and puts on a wrestling clinic. However, Hulk does his match-ending combination of the no-sell, “YOU!!!” etc etc, but Angle dodges the Big Boot, and Hulk takes down the ref. Hulk does the natural face thing and checks on the ref, and doesn’t notice Edge sliding into the ring. Hulk gets up and turns to go back to Kurt, but Edge Spears him, before rolling back out of the ring. Angle gets Hulk in the Angle Lock and he taps, just as the ref wakes up. (Rating: A) Edge climbs back into the ring with a pair of chairs and places one under Hulk’s head. He raises the other up, and holds it, seeming to bathe in the audience’s distasteful shouts. He laughs as he brings the chair down across Hulk’s head again and again and again. Angle looks impressed, gesturing to Edge to hand him the chair. Edge laughs again and hands it over. Angle hits Hulk in the head, busting him wide open. He takes the blood and wipes it across his face, revelling in the destruction and pain, bringing a confused look from Edge, who shrugs and raises Kurt’s hand in victory. (Rating: A*) Overall: A Attendance: 650

It seems like a lot of people will be transferring their dynasties over to the 2007 boards. Now, I won't be updating to 2007 for a while, but I'd hate to lose all the readers who don't really want to have to check two forums to read all their favourite dynasties, so I was just wondering what you guys thought, should I get mine transferred or should I just leave it here?

I've just finished reading this, and you've got a great dynasty going here mate so keep it up!:D As far as the moving forum thing goes, I say keep it here dude, until you update to 2007, everybody who's a big fan of your work will keep coming back to read this so don't worry about having it moved just yet.

They like me. They really like me. Ok, it stays here. One less thing I need to do. Oh, in case y'all are wondering, WWE profited this month too, around the same amount, which is surprising, considering the number of open contracts I have... I'll post a PWFlashlight article and a RAW commercial later today... most likely, I've got other stuff to do, and it is Christmas Eve (here anyway, hooray for timezones) so I might not... but I've got all day, so it's likely. Although, I should probably spend a little more time on TNA... there hasn't been a post there for a while... But Rebirth is my #1 priority.

Sunday, May, Week 4 From PWFlashlight.com Well, I got my WWE: The Dark Years DVD yesterday (hooray for being considered 'press' and getting one of the earliest copies) and I've got to say, I'm impressed with how well they've kept the show together, it's like they never went off TV. But of course there's the viewers they'll lose because they have no idea what's going on, seeing as there's new storylines and such. I'm glad to see the younger talent getting a push, but that may just be Vince McMahon preparing for when all of his major talent jump ship to WCW and TNA, and he's just trying to replace them. Seeing the Hardyz both with WWE makes me hope for a Hardy Boyz reunion, especially considering Matt's recent contract extension with the WWE. Hulk Hogan regaining his championship is not a good sign. His popularity is waning lately, and he's just not what he was twenty years ago. Not that he was that stellar in the ring then either. Hopefully this is just WWE's attempt to have the greatest world champion of all time, and they'll get over it, and let him put younger guys over. Or force him to put younger guys over, whatever. A Cena vs Orton feud is great for the company. The fans really hate Orton, and that means that Cena's starting to look good by comparison, and you know we're going to see this storyline a lot in the next ten years, as those two are the future of the industry... Assuming they stay with WWE of course... Triple H vs Big Show rages on, hopefully that will end soon, but knowing my luck it's only just begun... The card for the TV return looks pretty solid, we're going to see Carlito vs Batista, a tag title rematch, an IC title rematch and Cena vs Orton. Not to mention the likelihood of another Teddy Hart loss, honestly, who gets a star over with a losing streak? I hope it works though, because he's a great star. And as they've addressed the rumours of Vince's bet with JBL on the show, it's possible it's just a work, but you never know, Vince has been known to twist real life events into his favour before. Now, on to TNA... Why did Shark Boy get a one-on-one X Division title shot?

No RAW commercial, I don't have the time to cut a pic, just thought I'd wish y'all a Merry Christmas from me and all the workers at WWE: Rebirth (except Edge, he's still pissed off about the awards ceremony. Apparently he's going to challenge Matt Weise to a $1 Million dollar shoot fight or something...)

 • 2 weeks later...
Finally, the moment you've waited all month for... The triumphant return of WWE RAW to television. And the show's going to be so good, it'll never be taken off the air again. In our main event, we see Randy Orton facing John Cena. We also see The Animal Batista taking on Carlito. And in two huge championship matches, we see Rob Conway defend his Intercontinental Championship against Matt Hardy and The Backseat Boyz defend their Tag Team Championships against the former champions MNM.

Monday, June, Week 1 The show opens with Vince McMahon standing in the middle of the ring. “Folks, I am proud to announce… RAW is back on the air!” He says, to a huge pop. “I made a promise to my fans, and I delivered on it. Tonight is the beginning of a new era of Monday Night RAW! And we’re here to stay!” (Rating: A) “Now, there are rumours on the internet, I’m sure you’ve heard them… I made a bet with John Bradshaw Layfield that RAW would rate higher than his show. Now, I bet more money than I have, so the deal was, should he win, he wins a share of the company. A large share of the company. Half in fact. However, I am confident in the WWE fans, and I will win this bet.” Vince says. (Rating: A*) The crowd boos as the Representatives come out and beat Vince down, before escaping through the crowd. (Rating: C) *Break* Teddy Hart comes out, followed by Nattie Neidhart. “I’m not giving up. I will win in singles competition! So who’s it going to be this week?” He shouts. (Rating: A) Hardcore Holly’s music hits and he comes out, looking pissed off. “The Hardcore Challenge got bumped for the ‘Teddy Hart Streak Break Challenge’… I’m sick of being disrespected, and tonight, I’m going to take it out on you.” Hardcore says. (Rating: C+) Teddy Hart Streak Break Challenge (w/)vs Teddy Hart (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs Hardcore Holly Once again, a brilliant showing from Teddy Hart, as he runs rings around Hardcore, however, he gets ****y, and begins showboating, and Holly takes advantage with a rollup. Once again, Teddy loses. (Rating: B-) *Break* Rob Conway is backstage. “I defended my title fair and square against Matt Hardy. But Vince McMahon seems to think he deserves another shot. I don’t know what you did to convince him to take your side Matt, but I will get you back for it. I promise you will regret that decision. Tonight I will make you bleed. Tonight I will make you beg for mercy, and then I will make you swear to never go for my title again.” (Rating: B-) “Good evening WWE fans, this is the Coach, and I am standing by with Matt Hardy. Now Matt, you heard what Conway had to say to you, and we all want to know, what is your response?” Coach says. “My response? Rob Conway should not be Intercontinental Champion. It’s as simple as that. He doesn’t deserve a championship as prestigious, he doesn’t deserve the honour of being listed among the superstars who have held it, and the people… the fans… They deserve a better champion. A champion doesn’t get counted out, a champion doesn’t cheat. A champion goes out there and puts on the best show they can for the fans. Which is why I’m dedicating this match to the fans. I will win it, and I’ll put on the best match of the night while I’m at it.” Matt replies, storming off. “Well folks, you heard him… That Intercontinental Championship match is after the break.” Coach says. (Rating: B-) *Break* Intercontinental Championship vs Rob Conway vs Matt Hardy As always, these two are evenly matched, they seem to go hold for hold, until the referee is in the wrong place at the wrong time, Rob Conway irish-whipping Matt Hardy straight into the ref in the corner, knocking him down. Matt Hardy checks if the referee is ok, and grabs the title belt from ringside and blasts Matt in the head with it. Rob Conway begins playing to the crowd, as they boo loudly. Their boos however turn to cheers as Jeff Hardy runs down the ramp and climbs a turnbuckle behind Conway, who turns just as Jeff jumps, dropkicking him right in the face. Jeff revives Matt, just as Conway stands back up. Twist of Fate by Matt on Conway, Jeff revives the ref, who makes the three-count. We have a new Intercontinental Champion. (Rating: B+) Matt and Jeff climb a turnbuckle each and celebrate the victory, as the crowd goes nuts. (Rating: A) The referee grabs the title belt and hands it to Matt. (Rating: A) The ref holds up Matt’s hand in victory, Matt holds up the title in his other hand. Jeff then takes the ref’s position and raises Matt’s hand in victory four times, each time facing another side of the ring. (Rating: B+) *Break* The end of the previous match is replayed. (Rating: B) Rob Conway grabs a mic. “Vince! Vince! You saw the end of that match just as well as everyone else did. I got screwed. I demand you declare the match a no-contest and give me back my title!” Conway complains. (Rating: B+) Vince’s music hits and he limps out. “You demand? NO ONE MAKES DEMANDS OF VINCE MCMAHON!!!” Vince yells, and Conway looks scared. “However, you’re right, the Intercontinental Championship should not change hands like that. So as of this moment, I am stripping Matt Hardy of the title.” (Rating: A) Conway looks happy. “However, you’re not going to get the title back just yet. You see, as no-one holds it at the moment, I think it’s only fair that neither of you goes into the match with the championship belt, and you need to earn it somehow… So at Vengeance it’ll be Rob Conway facing Matt Hardy for the Intercontinental Championship in a… Title On A Tightrope Match!!!” Vince announces. Conway looks pretty confused, as Joey Styles and Jim Cornette wonder wtf a ‘Title On A Tightrope Match’ is. At one point, after a distraction from Melina, MNM hit a Snapshot on Kashmere, leaving him down, however, Trent Acid fights back, taking Nitro down with a DDT. He brawls with Mercury for a moment, and attempts to run the ropes for a clothesline, however, Melina grabs his legs and trips him up, allowing Mercury to hit a Legdrop. The ref has had enough by now, and begins telling Melina to leave ringside. While his back is turned, out of nowhere come the HooliganZ, Spanky hits Mercury with a Sliced Bread #2, whilst London hits Nitro with the London Star Press, before the two of them get the hell out of there. Meanwhile, Trish Stratus grabs Melina and drags her away, as Acid covers Mercury. 1…2…3 Backseat Boyz retain. (Rating: B+) Backstage, we see Hulk Hogan sitting in his locker room. “Edge. It’s time we ended this once and for all. I’m sick of you, and you’re sick of me. So we’ll go one more time. Hulk Hogan vs Edge for the WWE Championship at Vengeance. I’ll give you a week to respond.” He says. (Rating: A*) *Break* vs Carlito vs Batista Surprisingly, Carlito holds his own against the Animal, his speed and wrestling ability matching Batista’s size and strength. However, Carlito just can’t make him stay down, no matter what he throws at him, Batista powers out of it. Until Carlito gets his legs up on the ropes for leverage, following a Backcracker. Carlito beats Batista. (Rating: A*) Backstage, we see Big Show heading to the carpark, when he is blindsided by Triple H, who hits him over and over again, the element of surprise ensuring he keeps the upper hand. Eventually, Triple H hits a Pedigree and it’s over. Both workers getting the crowd pumped, even if the in-ring work isn’t stellar. Orton picks up the win after a drop toe-hold onto the turnbuckle, which had been uncovered earlier and a roll-up. (Rating: A*) Overall: A Attendance: 1000 Rating: 190,037
