jagilki
An e-fed (or efed) is a fantasy wrestling promotion. There are currently three major types. 1. Roleplay Normaly in a Roleplay federation, wins/loses are determined by quality of roleplay vs. quality of opponents roleplay. 2. Angle Win/loss is determined by the storyline 3. Match Each person writes out their match and the winner is decided by who writes the best match roughkut is a decent resource for efeds rk efed database Eh, In my first post I said not looking for links, but that was just to keep the normal efed garbage from going on, but I guess if everbody involved conducted themselves with honor, we could all show off links to feds we are in.... right? I'm in two... Sin Wrestling and NEWA (Northeast Wrestling Alliance) Sin Wrestling NEWA My character is "Xander Gates" xanderfngates.2hell.com <--- My characters website

weirdo_man
Yeah, I'm retired. Heh. Won't get me going back to that again, too much childishness going on with efeds. Especially when you're someone not in an efed community and you come in and are better than all of them. (I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but most people are in like 2-3 efeds that are 80% all the same wrestlers. Hence the mention of community.) Derek B
The one e-fed I've hung around for any length of time (ie: without it closing) is located at www.shootclub.com which has been around for years and years. By no means is it your traditional e-fed as its based largely on a stats engine, but roleplaying is still (at least in my eyes) the most important part of the game. The game is getting ready to go through a major re-vamp in the next few months that will see a lot of changes to the site.... but I like it quite well as it is. My name there is Derek B... my characters have been many, with the one known as Derek B being my most successful. He is retired now though... well, on hiatus at least. jagilki
The Xander Gates character has only been in Sin and NEWA. (I take that back. In 04 I used him as a manager in a fed called WCF (can't remember what it stood for, but was ran by a guy named Seth Lerch) I first joined Sin in 04, but gave up the internet for two years. Beyond that, I was first in feds in '98 (Characters were Allen "Portal" Bartsch, "The Dean" Jason Sanders and Spyral) then quit in late mid '99. Started again in late '01 and played on geeksoft's g-fed deal. Using most of the same characters. Quit again early '02. Started again in '04. Yeah, a lot of feds can be childish. Eh, right now the two I'm in have a decent OOC (out of character for those that don't know) community. One of them (NEWA) is kinda on the verge of dying. Too many no-show-ers. Too many people in the efed game are just out to win, or get their ego rubbed. I've always been in it just cause I find writting roleplays fun. The second that is no longer true, I'm gone. Heh, after writting that I realize that I'm the main eventer in one of those feds, and the #1 contender in the other. Although, I'm suffering slight writers block at the moment.
