(The reason I went with starting with only $2000 is it seemed like an amount of money that a normal person could have saved up himself just working a normal job. I might fail but I willing to give it a go)
CWD Roster announced Today CWD owner and head booker Weird Trucker has announced the roster of his upstart company. They are as follows... He is hoping to make an Impact at CWD Corvis Fear- The adrenaline Junkie Corvis Fear will be bringing his Highflying Skills to a CWD ring soon.
CWD Uprising- Live from CWD Arena in Austin Texas Attendance- 18 "The Rat Magnet" David Babylon v. Pete Wilson These two guys came out for the first match in the tournament to crown the new CWD Champion. The rat magnet made easy work out of the young Wilson. Babylon won with the Babsbuster after he dominated Winner- Babylon wins in 4.03 Rating- E Corvis Fear v. "Platinum" Mike Preston This match was started at a slower pace than the opener, as both men seem to be trying to keep their energy for the later matches. This match finished when Fear caught "Platinum" Mike with the Mind Killer to progress to the next round where he will face "The Rat Magnet. Winner- Fear wins in 3.39 Rating- D Tyler Payne v. Ray Gordy This match was a mix of different styles with Gordy trying to use his highflying skills and Payne trying to stretch him into submission. Gordy wins when he finally hits the Twisting Fisherman Buster. After the match Gordy was seen limping to the back selling the submission attempts on his legs Winner- Gordy in 3.33 Rating- D "Smooth" Johnny Spade v. Jacey North Another mixed style match. Spade tried to showboat through the match but found North to be tougher than he thought. Spade wins when he rolled North up and placed his feet on the ropes for leverage. Winner- Spade in 3.34 Rating- D "The Rat Magnet" David Babylon v. Corvis Fear In this match Babylon seems to be a little tired after his first round match and we had a fairly even match until Babylon hit Fear with a low blow and the clamped on The Rat Trap for the tap out victory. Winner- Babylon in 5.52 Rating- E Ray Gordy v. "Smooth" Johnny Spade These two great wrestlers put on a hell of a match with neither seeming to leave anything in reserve for the final. Spade became increasingly more frustrated as the match went on, as he couldn't put Gordy away. The match ended as both men were Brawling outside the ring, Spade grabbed a chair and hits Gordy with it leading to him being DQ'd. Spade didn't stop there as he kept up his assault, until Road agent Jacques Rougeau Jr dragged him off Gordy. He left the ringside with a smile on his face. Winner- Gordy by DQ in 5.53 Rating- D Bruce Buffer, CWD's announcer, steps into the ring with a microphone. "I'll like to take this opportunity to speak to those who are the first to bear witness to the Birth of a new Cult. First things first, I'd like to thank everyone here in attendance. Secondly I'd like to remind everyone that the next match is for the CWD Championship. You'll See "The Rat Magnet" Dave Babylon face Ray Gordy, but I've been told that we're going to make this a bit more interesting, so they will now be competing in a Last Man Standing match. Enjoy Rating- F The Rat Magnet" David Babylon v. Ray Gordy These two men were intent on leaving nothing back in order to be crowned the new CWD Champion. This match went all around the arena and both competitors used everything they could lay there hands on. The matched finished when a clearly tired and bleeding Gordy set Babylon on a table outside the ring and hit him a Swanton bomb straight through to the concrete floor. Winner andNew CWD Champion- Gordy in 10.09 Rating- D After this Gordy celebrates his victory by collapsing to his knees in the middle of the ring with the belt tightly in his grip. Rating- F Overall Rating- D
SHaynes23 you predicted right, so for the Next event you can decide who will Face Gordy (from the current roster) and what type of match it'll be.
