panix04 Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 Ok guys, this is an idea i have been knocking around for a long time. Basically i want to do a sci-fi based mod for TEW. I havn't posted anything yet as i wanted to get a bit of work done first. Tha basic premise is that each fed is going to represent a particular sci-fi show/film. I have already entered the Buffy the Vampire slayer fed (which sapped less time then you'd think) im now throwing the idea out to see who (if anyone) would play and also to see if anyone is willing to help make it. This mod is supposed to be quite far removed from real life wrestling, i basically want everything to be sci-fi based from TV networks, to injurys the whole shebang. Below is a list of shows i was thinking of doing. Anyone who wants to take any of the work off my hands is more than welcome to. Feds: Buffy the vampire slayer - done Angel - Tyler Gadzinski X-Files - Me Roswell Charmed Star wars - imarevenant Star Trek (again possibly set up as lots of seperate feds) Smallville - The stallion The Supernatural - The Stallion (if he has time) DR Who - TCP Other stuff: Gimmicks - created as needed, i have all of the Buffy ones done, so if you need to create a gimmick feel free to, i will sift out duplicates when finished New feds - Injurys - Locations - TV/PPV etc. - Match types - Storys/angles - Screen - Clarity. So thats what needs doing. I know this project my be considered a little weak to some people feel free to offer constructive criticism. This is my 1st full-mod project (although it will still be made as part of TCP productions) and i just hope theres a bit of interest. However I would be willing to do a Smallville promotion for you. Question though, do you have a limit on how many worker the fed should/could have? By the way, this is a cool idea. Another question, what about popularity? How should we measure that? Also I can cut the pics for Smallvile, but do you have a background you want used. I havn't got a copy of the frame im using, but i will post it when i get home from work. As for the stats. I will leave them up to you. They may be tweaked when im finished though, for example if i notice that Jonothan Kent is getting a better push than his son, i may just have to alter the stats. I'm getting interested already! Thinking about it, Star Wars would be a massive promotion with literally hundreds of workers to choose from! I'd be glad to add a doctor who fed if you could knock it together. Im already imagining a dream matchup between Doctor who and Sam Beckett of quantum leap fame.
