angeldelayette
July 1, 2006 Good evening everyone. As all of you should know by now I am Vince McMahon, the chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment. I come to you today with a major announcement concerning the future of my company. I have made the major decision to freeze the roster of everyone within the company. Basically what this means is that all wrestlers will be deemed the exclusive property of their brand. I have spoken with the man who holds both the WWE Heavyweight Title and the ECW World Heavyweight Title Rob Van Dam and he has made the decision to stay within the Extreme Championship Wrestling Company and forfeit the WWE Heavyweight Title. From now on, all 3 companies will be run truly as seperate brands and seperate companies. They will have their own pay-per-views, tv shows and everything else that comes with the new brands. I believe this will ensure some brand loyalty and perhaps help to revive the wrestling business. Paul Heyman will be in charge of the ECW company, Theodore Long will be in charge of the Smackdown company and my executive assistant Jonathan Coachman will be in charge of the Raw company. Thank you and have a great day!

There were no fireworks, no pyro that exploded when the show faded inside the arena and panned around the jam-packed crowd here in Syracuse. Joey Styles: "Hello everyone and WELCOME to Extreme Championship Wrestling on Sci-Fi. I'm Joey Styles alongside my broadcast partner and ECW legend Taz. Taz, tonight we are going to see the Big Show get a shot against our ECW World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam in a non-title match. Joey: "We both know that would be a massacre, Taz. Sabu came walking out and slid inside, pacing around for a moment as the bell finally sounded. Sabu and CW circled each other within the ring and Sabu dove at the legs of the larger Anderson. CW remained on his feet and dropped an elbow on the back of the neck of Sabu. Joey reminded us of the famous moment where Chris Benoit dropped Sabu on his head and broke his neck while CW dropped a couple more elbows on Sabu. CW raised 4 fingers to a booing crowd, turning back to Sabu and lifting him by the head. He whipped Sabu across the ring and into the turnbuckle. He hesitated and then charged in but Sabu moved out of the way and CW Anderson hit face-first into the turnbuckle! Sabu grabbed him quickly and tossed him outside the ring. Sabu quickly followed and pushed Anderson against the guardrail. He laid in with a few punches and kicks, walking around and picking up a chair. He came back at Anderson and LEVELED him with a chair shot to the head! CW looked dazed on his feet, leaning against that guardrail and Sabu rolled inside the ring, setting the chair up by the ropes. He pointed to the sky and then took off running, bouncing off the ropes and jumping on the chair to the top rope. He balanced himself and then leapt off with Air Sabu to the outside! OH MY GOD! Chants of "ECW" "ECW" rang out through the crowd as Sabu slowly rose back to his feet and pointed to the air to a large ovation from the crowd. Sabu grabbed CW and pushed him back inside the ring, following in after him shortly. He grabbed Anderson and set him up for a suplex, turning slightly but during the turn CW came back to his feet and lifted Sabu up. He dropped Sabu stomach-first onto the top of the chair! Sabu is laying across there and CW points to the top turnbuckle! There is no way he's going up there, is there? CW goes to the outside and begins climbing up slowly, still dazed from the offense Sabu had. And Sabu beats Anderson to the punch, folding up the steel chair and tossing it at Anderson's head! Anderson falls face-first onto the mat. He might be out! Sabu quickly folds the chair underneath his legs and drops with an Arabian Facebuster on CW, making the cover and getting the 1-2-3. Winner: Sabu by pinfall *********** *Bikini Contest* *********** After the ring was cleared, Taz got up from his announcer's table and made his way into the ring to cheers from the crowd. Taz just laughed off chants of 'Please Come Back.' Taz: "Tonight I got the greatest gig in ECW history. Tonight I get to host the Bikini Contest between Kelly and whoever else she, uh, chose. So, why don't we welcome out, famous from her Kelly's Expose, Kelly!" Kelly's music began to play and she walked out in a baby blue robe, waving to the crowd and smiling that beautiful smile of hers. She walked up the steps and slowly climbed into the ring. She walked over to Taz and winked at him, taking the microphone from his hands. Kelly: "Now, I know you all want to see what is underneath this robe. And you'll get to but I need to introduce to you the woman who will be my competition here tonight. All of you ECW faithful know her as the Queen of Extreme: Francine!" "Heard It On The X" by Static X begins to play as the crowd rises in anticipation of the ECW return of the Queen! Francine steps out to a huge ovation from the crowd and chants of 'Welcome Back, Welcome Back.' She's wearing a red robe and she climbs into the ring, looking around and smiling to the fans. Taz: "Alright everyone. You know how this goes. The fans in the arena get to choose the winner. Each of you will have 20 seconds in your bikini to convince the crowd why you should win. So, uh, Francine since you're the one that was challenged why don't you go first?" Francine nods and complies as her music starts up again and she removes her robe to reveal a skimpy bikini to cheers from the crowd. She's definitely kept in shape since her ECW days. She dances around for the 20 seconds and then... Taz: "Well, that's definitely smoking. Now, Kelly, you get the chance to, uh, show your stuff." Kelly smiles at Taz and then disrobes to reveal a thong and a very tiny bikini top, showing off her assets. She dances around for the crowd and then moves to stand beside Francine. Taz: "Well, there can only be one winner, though I think everyone's a winner here at ECW tonight. Who's it going to be? Francine?" He points to Francine, listening to the cheers from the crowd. Taz: "Or Kelly?" And he does the same to Kelly, listening to the crowd. Taz: "We got a close one going here. But I think I'm going to have to give it to the Queen of Extreme Francine!" Taz raises Francine's hand in victory, leaving a little distraught Kelly standing there for a moment, slumping her shoulders. Mike Knox comes walking out, trying to console Kelly inside the ring while Taz and Francine take a hike. Knox helps Kelly to the outside and waits for his opponent. **************** *Guido vs. Mike Knox* **************** With Mike Knox in the ring, it was waiting for the entrance of FBI member Guido. "Fly me to the moon Let me sing among those stars Let me see what spring is like On jupiter and mars" "Fly Me to the Moon" by ol' blue eyes Frank Sinatra brings out Guido and Trinity to a mix of cheers and boos from the crowd. They're not sure how to take Guido right now and it shows. As soon as he steps in the ring, though, he is jumped by Mike Knox with rights and lefts. Knox sends Guido into the corner and continues to hammer him as the bell sounds. He whips Guido across the ring and charges after him, hitting him with a clothesline in the corner, followed by a bulldog and a two count on a lateral press pinfall attempt. Knox pulls Guido up and tosses him outside the ring, flexing to the crowd, who boos him heavily. A chant of 'You're Not Ready' sounds out in reference to Mike Knox, who just ignores it. Guido finally slips back in the ring and Knox stomps on him several times before pulling him back up to his feet. He whips him into the ropes and drops his head but Guido leapfrogs over. Knox turns around into a clothesline attempt from Guido that only rocks Knox but doesn't knock him over. Guido's eyes go wide and he bounces off the ropes again but instead of hitting the clothesline, Knox catches Guido in a bearhug and drops him in a sit-out powerbomb, getting another two count. Knox looks rather frustrated at his inability to put Guido away. Trinity cheers on Guido from the outside, shouting something at Knox that he doesn't like. How do we know? Because he turns toward Trinity, who's standing on the outside and begins moving toward her. He leans against the ropes, reaching down toward her threateningly as Guido rolls outside the ring behind him. Guido gets a chair and rolls back in! He's winding up with that chair. Knox slowly turns around as Trinity backs off and...ducks the chair shot! Guido spins around and Knox hits a kick to the midsection, pulling Guido in. The chair falls to the ground as Knox sets Guido up and nails the Fishermanbuster Suplex on the chair! It's academic as Knox makes the covers and gets the three count. Winner: Mike Knox by pinfall ************************* *Kurt Angle vs. Sylvester Terkay* ************************* After the ring is cleared, Sylvester Terkay comes out to some random music set up for him. He is followed by the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle! The crowd is truly into Angle as he walks out toward the ring even though his music doesn't allow for the 'You Suck' chant anymore. Angle sets his gold medals in the corner and faces down with Terkay as the bell sounds. Everyone knows about Kurt Angle's background as an olympic gold medalist. What a lot of people don't know is that Sylvester Terkay took second place in the 1992 NCAA Championship to none other than Kurt Angle. Terkay is a decorated amateur wrestler and mixed martial artist. All of this information coming to light from Joey Styles. The two men look at each other with smirks, circling one another as neither man seems willing to step in. Angle finally does and they lock up with one another, jockeying for position. Terkay finally pushes Angle back into the corner where the referee is looking for a clean break. Terkay raises his arms and then tries a forearm shot that Angle dodges around. Terkay turns and Angle stabs him with a few body blows before backing off and releasing a 'whoo' for the crowd. Terkay charges in and Angle drops him with a drop toehold and leaps around, locking in a front face lock, grounding the large opponent. Angle wrenches it in as Terkay tries to find a way out, pushing his palms on the mat and trying to power his way up to his feet. It takes several moments but Terkay manages to get to his knees and fires a couple of punches to Angle's belly, breaking the hold. Terkay gets to his feet quickly and fires a knee to the chin of Angle, backing him off some. Terkay moves in quickly and fires another knee but Angle grabs the leg and quickly turns Terkay onto his stomach. Angle is going for the ankle lock! Terkay quickly moves toward the ropes and grabs ahold of them, the referee stepping in and telling Angle to break the hold. Angle does comply but fires in a stomp to the ankle of Terkay, definitely showing that Angle is softening up Terkay for another attempt at the anklelock. Angle grabs Terkay's leg and pulls him away from the ropes. Terkay reaches his free leg up and kicks Angle off to the ground but Angle fires right back up and grabs Terkay's leg again, quickly dropping to the mat in a single leglock, wrenching on the knee of Terkay. Terkay doesn't show any emotion on his face so it's hard to tell how much pain he is truly in as he tries to look for a way out of the hold. He's definitely too far from the ropes to reach them. Angle wrenches the hold in tight and Terkay tries to reach over and punch Angle but the Olympic Medalist is too far away. Angle finally releases the hold and slides outside the ring. He grabs Terkay's leg and brings him over to the ringpost, putting him in position with one leg on either side. Angle releases a 'whoo' to the crowd, posing for a moment. He turns back toward Terkay and gets kicked in the mush and sent all the way back against the steel guardrail! Terkay is STRONG! But he's also fighting on one leg as he pulls back and rolls out of the ring to go after Angle. Terkay grabs a nearby chair and walks over to Angle as Angle tries to stand up against the guardrail. Terkay BLASTS Angle with the chair! Kurt Angle is BUSTED WIDE OPEN, bleeding from the forehead! Sylvester Terkay smiles at the work he's done to Angle and picks up the Olympic gold medalist, tossing him inside the ring and following inside. Terkay runs his thumb across his throat and lifts Angle to his feet. Could this be the end? He grabs Angle by the throat and lifts him into the air but Angle falls back down. Terkay couldn't hold him because of the hurt knee! Terkay stumbles backward but Angle goes on the offensive, grabbing Terkay and lifting the big man into an Angle Slam! Angle makes the cover quickly, hooking the leg and getting the three count and a hard fought victory over Sylvester Terkay. Winner: Kurt Angle by pinfall. ******** *CM Punk* ******** The show fades to a music video, showing some of CM Punk's matches on the indy circuit. AFter that, CM Punk is shown standing in front of an ECW sign. CM: "So this is ECW? Well, ECW, my name is C M Punk and I live a straight-edge lifestyle. That means no drugs, no alcohol and no tobacco. My only addiction is competition. And next week I plan on getting some competition finally within the ranks of Extreme Championship Wrestling. Remember my name, CM Punk." ******** *Big Show* ******** The Big Show is seen backstage...walking! And he looks ready because the main event is coming up next. *********** *Rob Van Dam* *********** Rob Van Dam is also seen backstage...walking! But RVD has the ECW World Heavyweight Title belt around his waist. He pauses for a moment and looks into the camera, giving the double thumb point as the crowd chants along with 'Rob...Van...Dam.' ********************* *Big Show vs. Rob Van Dam* ********************* 'Wellllllll, it's the Big Show!' The acoustic version of the Big Show's theme welcomes him out from the back to boos from the crowd. Anyone facing Rob Van Dam is not exactly going to be the most popular superstar coming out. The Big Show steps over the top rope and climbs into the ring, raising his hand in the chokeslam symbol before his music stops. 'Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistance One step from lashing out at you... You want in to get under my skin And call yourself a friend I've got more friends like you What do I do?' The crowd pops huge as RVD's old entrance theme begins to play and they begin to sing along with it, the sound moving through the crowd. 'Is there no standard anymore? What it takes, who I am, where I've been Belong You can't be something you're not Be yourself, by yourself Stay away from me A lesson learned in life Known from the dawn of time' Rob Van Dam steps out from the back with a huge smile on his face, pausing at the top of the ramp to give the double thumb point three times, cracking his neck for a moment as he listens to the crowd sing along and cheer. 'Re, Spect, walk, what did you say?? Re, Spect, walk, are you talking to me???' RVD walks down toward the ring and slides inside, climbing the turnbuckles and standing up there for a moment, giving another set of double thumb points before doing a backflip into the ring. He turns and looks at the Big Show, taking off the World Title belt and placing it in his corner. He looks around for a moment before giving another double thumb point, one, two, then a spinning kick as the bell sounds and it's time for the match to be under way. Rob Van Dam definitely has to keep away from the Big Show and use his speed to his advantage while the Big Show has to slow down Van Dam and keep the crowd out of the match. Van Dam walks right up and stands face-to-chest with the Big Show and Show pushes Van Dam back across the ring and onto the ground. Van Dam looks up at the Big Show, rising to his feet and beginning to circle his larger opponent. Van Dam moves in and gives a kick to the knee of the Big Show, staying back out of the range of those big tree-trunk like arms of Show. He fires in a couple of kicks and then backs off. A smart strategy for Van Dam. RVD moves in and fires a couple more kicks to the knee of Show and then a spin kick to the chest but it doesn't even move Show! The Big Show grabs RVD and headbutts him, sending RVD to the mat and fast. The Big Show shrugs and puts a foot down on RVD's chest, stepping on him and walking over him! Van Dam is hurting in the early-goings of this match. The Big Show leans down and pulls RVD back up, whipping him into the turnbuckle. Van Dam bounces off the turnbuckle and staggers forward, leaving him open for a forearm shot to the back by Show, sending Van Dam to the mat once again. Show pushes Van Dam over with a foot and places that foot on top but barely gets a 1 count before RVD's shoulder is up. Show picks up RVD and hooks a front face lock, pulling RVD's arm up and lifting the ECW World Heavyweight Champion into a suplex position. He keeps him up there for several seconds, spinning around before finally dropping him down to the mat. Show makes a cover but gets a 2 count only and brings one massive hand down to RVD's throat, choking him with it. The crowd begins a chant of 'RVD, RVD, RVD' as the referee pulls Show back from the chokehold. Van Dam does not look too good. The Big Show pulls Van Dam to his feet and whips him across the ring. Van Dam comes back and gets hit by a big boot, flooring him to the mat and somewhat silencing this crowd as Show has dominated Van Dam. The Big Show calls for the chokeslam here and now, spinning and waiting on Van Dam to get to his feet. Van Dam is slow to stagger upward, spinning around to locate the Big Show and he gets grabbed by the monster! Van Dam's eyes go wide and he begins firing kick after kick against the chest and legs of the Big Show, slowing down the monster's attack! The crowd begins the 'RVD' chant again as Van Dam is firing back with all he has. Van Dam bounces off the ropes and ducks under a big foot attempt by Show, sliding all the way outside the ring! Van Dam grabs a chair and slides inside as Show turns around to face him. Van Dam tosses Show the chair and NAILS the Van Daminator on the Big Show! It rocks Show, who teeters on his feet as though he might fall with a single blow. Van Dam bounces off the ropes and... KEE-RACK! The Big Show nailed Rob Van Dam with that chair across the head! Van Dam is busted wide open as he lies on the mat in near-convulsions. The Big Show climbs outside the ring, tossing the dented chair away and reaching underneath the ring. What is he going for? A TABLE! The Big Show is pulling a table from underneath the ring!!! He pushes it inside and climbs in after it, beginning to set it up inside the ring. Show raises his hand in that chokeslam symbol again, waiting and watching as Van Dam gets to his feet. Show grabs Van Dam around the throat and lifts him into the air quickly. He turns and... OH MY GOD!!!! Van Dam reversed the chokeslam into a DDT through the table! The Big Show MIGHT be out! The Big Show's head and upper body just went through that table and he is lying motionless. Van Dam is even slow to get to his feet but he spies the Big Show on the ground and goes running off the ropes. ROLLING THUNDER by Van Dam on the Big Show inside that splintered table! Van Dam gives the set of double-thumb points and pulls Big Show away from the table, turning the man onto his back. Van Dam spies the top turnbuckle and goes, leaping up top. He looks down at the Big Show and gives a double thumb point before leaping and... He's caught! How in the hell??? The Big Show caught Rob Van Dam by the throat on the landing for the Five-Star Frog Splash!!! Is Show even human??? The Big Show lifts RVD up and delivers a strong chokeslam into those pieces of wooden table, covering Van Dam and getting the three-count. what an amazing match between those two superstars! Will Paul Heyman give the Big Show a title shot?? Winner: The Big Show by pinfall
