Preview for Total Wrestling - Tuesday 10th January 2006 All Action Title Match: Freddie Huggins vs Wolf Hawkins Although Hawkins deserves the title I don't see im getting on the first shot. This could be a good program betwen the two and after a cheating losses to Huggins, Hawkins will come out on top at a PPV. No DQ: Madman Boone & Genghis Khan vs The Nation of Filth Barring a few DaVE workers these two men practically evented hardcore and I see a win here for them over the natio. International Title Match: Rick Law vs Giant Tana With the heavyweight title scene pretty much filled up Law needs to stay international champion for a bit unill he can get a shot at Cornell. Grudge Tag: Liberty & Peter Valentine vs ''Chosen Ones' : Robert Oxford & Joel Bryant I see a DQ finish as Cornell comes out to help his boys.

" - Jason Azaria groans ' Troy Tornado, Stevie Grayson no-marks ?! This kid Huggin's head grows bigger every day ! Rating: B- All Action Title Match : Freddy Huggins vs Wolf Hawkins This match was fast paced action all the way, surprisingly it was Huggins who actually came out the hottest, until he made a mistake by going for his high-risk finisher early allowing Hawkins to catch him with a knee to the gut , then in the highlight move of the match Hawkins followed up with a hanging suplex to Huggins across the top rope ! The match then went back and forth with neither man really gaining an advantage, both attempted to hit their finishers but the other man just did enough to wriggle out of being put away. The finish came when both men exchange a series of pinfalls, rolling each through on each other and earning a series of 2 counts, until Huggins snatched the win whilst using the ropes for leverage (which the referee failed to see). Hawkins protested at the referee's decision and failure to spot Huggins illegal tactics, whilst Huggins simply smiled rather smugly and pointed to his head, suggesting that he had simply out-smarted Hawkins. Result: Freddy Huggins defeated Wolf Hawkins in 14:50 by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage. Rating: B- Post match celebration Huggins grabs his title and poses in the ring, pointing to himself and saying into the camera 'Who's the hottest ticket in town....Freddy Huggins is....baby ! Wrestling purists would have hung their head in shame, as not one piece of actual wrestling was displayed, but the crowd seem to lap it up as the four combatants took the fight into the crowd. The Nation of Filth attempted to put up a fight but for the most part this was the two hardcore legends taking the N.O.F to school, the school of harsh knocks . One particular highlight was when Madman Boone climbed onto some scaffolding and came crashing down on Grunt with a dustbin lid to the head. After that the N.O.F were put away when Genghis Rahn sent Stink crashing through a table with a Rahn to the Hills (Spear) and the pinfall was academic. Result: Hardcore Uproar defeated The Nation Of Filth in 10:44 when Genghis Rahn defeated Stink by pinfall Rating: B- Hype video for Mark Gunn The video showed what looked like a wrestler in traditional looking wrestling trunks training and hitting a series of suplexes on several sparring partners, though his face was never fully shown. The voice over says 'He is a pure wrestling machine, built to do war in the ring, he is a Human Arsenal'. It then ends with a simply message on the screen Mark Gunn debuts next week ! Oh well it's not like I'm pushing the Young Guns anytime soon Post Match Assault and Save Steve Gumble probably would have done better to just get squashed by BLZ Bubb, as putting up a fight angered the monster. BLZ Bubb decided that he wanted to punish Gumble by Hades Bombing him again...Bubb was about to do another one... Azaria said " Enough already, some one get this bully out of the ring, he should pick on someone his own size !"..relief came when Harry Allen came running in with a chair...after that BLZ Bubb left the ring. Rating: B- Notes: Bit of a booking error here, I think I should have booked BLZ Bubb to destroy Harry Allen as well, I don't think the crowd particularly bought into BLZ Bubb laying off more punishment to Gumble, just because Harry Allen comes running in with a chair ! Painful Procedure to Debut their Latest video- next ! The camera see's the whole Painful Procedure stable, walking to the ring...Jason Azaria says that up next is the premiere of Painful Procedures New single... Notes: Though PP are faces, there were some groans throughout this segment, from those who were there to see a wrestling show, not some wannabe rockers argue over who is the most rockin on the their latest 'song' Video of a 'Thousand Miles ' By Painful Procedure plays... The video is a mix of them rocking out on a cliff top , interspersed with them in action - pretty much just showing them getting the upper hand and making them look like world beaters, including Shearer and Hopkirk's tag title victory over 'The Chosen Ones' at Threatening Behaviour in October. The song is basically a nu-metal type of song, similar in sound to something like Korn. The chorus is ' I've walked over hot coals and mountains, to tell you that I'm dead ! ...I've walked a thousand miles to beat you in the face ! ' Ratings: B- for the announcement, B for the Video However just before the end of the video.... Attack Painful Procedure are attacked in the ring by Demon's of Rage and the Darkness Warriors (who seem to have formed an alliance) and pummell TCW's most raaawking (as Randall Hopkirk would put it) band/stable into the mat. PP were simply not prepared to fight and the beat-down is one sided. Kyle Rhodes commented "Thank goodness someone came along to save us from that awful racket " .... Jason Azaria responded with '' I don't agree with the Demon's and Darkness Warriors actions, but I'll agree with you for once on one thing Kyle..that 'song' certainly did not impress me either....but much of the crowd loved it, and PP were disrespected here and I would not want be in the shoes of their attackers, as Painful Procedure will want payback for this...." Rhodes then said ''Painful Procedure should do everyone a favour and just give up, I don't just mean the music, and I don't just mean the wrestling...I mean everything...no one want's to see these fools ! " Rating: B Peter Valentine & Liberty are in their dressing room, but are sitting apart well away from each other and don't look to be on the same Sometimes You've Just Gotta Say Sorry... Valentine: Liberty ! , Liberty ! And It's a big match too ...for the title ! Against Rick Law ! Blonde Bombshell: For a title ? , this sounds exciting ! Giant Tana: Oh yes it is !, it is ! but it's against Rick Law...who's a cop. Am I allowed to fight a cop ? Blonde Bombshell: Well I always thought if you assaulted a man of law, you'd go to jail for a very long time Giant Tana: Oh ! Maybe this match, not such a good idea Rating: C+ Announcer Hype for Tana vs Law Jason Azaria ponders whether or not Giant Tana is going to be focused in his match, after his comments to Blonde Bombshell. Kyle Rhodes commented that for once he wanted Rick Law to win...because Giant Tana is a big fat goof and an embarrasment to the sport of wrestling. Rating: B- International Title : Rick Law vs Giant Tana The first two minutes of this match was pure comedy with Tana practically refusing to hit Rick Law and just walking around the ring looking really worried. At first Law was amused by Tana's antics, but after a while he had enough and rung Tana's bell a few times, this seemed to get through to Tana that he was in a fight, and if he didn't fight back, he was going to get clobbered regardless.... What followed was a back and forth slugfest between two of TCW's biggest men. Eventually Rick Law came out on top of the brawl and put Tana away, though it took three Long Arm's of the Law (running Lariat's) to do get the job done Result: Rick Law defeated Giant Tana in 9:44 by pinfall Rating: B+ Celebration and Show of Respect Rick Law raises the International Title aloft after another successful title defence and poses for the fans, do his officer's salute to every corner. He then picks up his fallen opponent . Law then shakes Tana's hand...Tana smiled, then hugged Law back. Rating's: B+ for celebration, B for show of respect After a commercial break we come back to a pre-recorded interview with Ricky Dale Johnson carried out by Jason Azaria Ricky Dale Johnson sit-down Interview (w/ Jason Azaria ) Azaria: I have the pleasure to be with Ricky Dale Johnson, who many people are saying is the fastest rising star in TCW RDJ: Thanks Jason Azaria: Last month you took a tough loss against BLZ Bubb, how do you feel you've responded to that RDJ: Well any of my fans and for that matter my opponents can see it's barelty affected me...there a times in this sport when a tough loss like that just galvanizes your resolve and you just come out stronger. RDJ is stronger than ever. Azaria: I've often heard you claim in your interviews that you promise to become World Heavyweight Champion one day, alot of people around the industry see that as possibly being over-confident...especially after your loss to BLZ Bubb at Psycho Circus RDJ: In this line of work, if you didn't have confidence, you shouldn't be in it...it's called self belief...if you didn't have the belief that one day you would be the top man, then you may as well just give up. RDJ isn't about to do that, I'm not about to back down from any fight and if anyone wants to bring the fight to me I'll be ready. After a pause RDJ then addresses the World Heavyweight Champion Tommy Cornell himself.... This is for you champ...you seem to be occupied with Liberty and Peter Valentine right now, but I'd keep your eyes peeled elsewhere, cos I'm gonna be gunning for your title, and it may be...... Rating : A* Interview Ambush ! Out of nowhere Tommy Cornell's heavy Charlie Thatcher comes charging in to the interview set and lays into RDJ...the two then brawl (Azaria flee's the scene, running off like a little girl) until Thatcher picks up one of the chairs being used for the interview and smashes it across RDJ's back and then pounds RDJ with the chair, whilst RDJ is defenseless on the floor. Eventually security pull Thatcher off, before any really serious damage can be done. Rating: B Cornell is in the Chosen One's Dressing room with the Tag Team Specialists (which looks more like a penthouse than a regular dressing room) Cornell psyching up his 'Boys' Tommy Cornell: Last week you disappointed me, both of you lost and Bryant you were an embarrasment , don't ever show up the Chosen One's like that again. Then your attack on that pair of douche-bags Liberty and Valentine at the end of the show was just dumb. Robert Oxford: We were trying to impress you Tommy, we knew we stuffed up earlier Tommy Cornell: Well get this into your brains before you make any more rash decisions...it didn't impress me, those two were about to rip into each other and neither of them with have been gunning for me and my title. They would have been occupied by there own pathetic squabbling, all your attack did is just bring them back on the same page .. ...and by the way it's boss, not Tommy, I'm not too happy with you right now...I'm only Tommy to you when I'm happy enough with your contribution's in helping me retain what is rightfully mine. Joel Bryant & Robert Oxford: Ok Boss Tommy Cornell: Beat those two losers though, and I may just let you call me Tommy again. Rating: B+ The Main Event: Liberty & Peter Valentine vs 'Chosen Ones': Joel Bryant & Robert Oxford Liberty started the match off against Joel Bryant and started off hot, until Bryant did that classic heel move the rake of the face on Liberty, and then Bryant and his partner Oxford double teamed Liberty, Liberty then got the hot-tag into Peter Valentine who cleaned house...the rest of the match saw the two heavyweight faces dominating the match, and they looked to have Tommy's Boys put away. However Tommy Cornell came down to the ringside and started to taunt Liberty, Liberty saw this as an opportunity to get his hands on Cornell, losing focus on the match and chasing Cornell down the ramp, this of course left Peter Valentine two on one with Oxford and Bryant. Valentine managed to hit the Heartbreaker (Chokeslam backbreaker) on Robert Oxford, but Joel Bryant came off the top turnbuckle with a drop kick and caught Valentine square on the chin. Bryant revives his partner, before Valentine can get back to his feet and the two then doubled team Valentine...eventually leading to the big man being taken down...Liberty has now come back (after losing Cornell in the chase) but is too late as Peter Valentine taps out to a combination Ox-Lock (Figure Four Arm-lock) from Robert Oxford and Cross face from Joel Bryant Result: The Tag Team Specialists defeated Peter Valentine and Liberty in 12:47 when Peter Valentine submitted Rating: B+ Post Match Meltdown As The Chosen One's leave the ring with a pair of smug smiles on their face....Peter Valentine is revived by his tag partner Liberty. Valentine then gets in Liberty's face again, they then start to argue and things start to get really heated up, eventually leading to a shoving contest between the two. Jason Azaria commented that "the friendship between Liberty and Peter Valentine, may well be over after this match" Kyle Rhodes then quipped '" Let the bigger ego win, nothing would be more satisfying than seeing those two fools, do all of us a favour and lay each other out...for good !'" Rating: A Overall: B+: Not as good as last weeks show, but still a solid enough and still managed to be better than what SWF are putting on at the moment, more disappointed with the drop in T.V Audience than the drop in grade. But I suppose that is what you get when you put Mid-carders into the main event. Though in my opinion it would get a bit boring and repetitive if the same 6 to 8 Main Eventers got a booked in the main event every week. _________________________________________________________________ A look at how the rivals did: SWF Supreme TV-Hired Guns beat High Concept for the World Tag Team titles, and Enygma defeated Joe Sexy in the main event, this was only enough again for another B. They had a T.V Audience of 1.4 m, so we still have plenty of catching up to do in terms of getting people to turn over to our product, so we need to keep putting on top drawer shows, because SWF are ahead right now in the T.V ratings they probably feel that they don't have to go all out on every shows

I really liked that last show. You made comments about last weeks show which were done very well. The segments with the Chosen Ones were very good. I think with some proof reading this could get a lot better. Some minor typos throughout the post but it was very interesting. Giant Tana and Rick Law was interesting as well.

I've taken your constructive criticism on board and given it a proof read and cleaned up any errors that I could find and just generally tidy it up. I've decided pictures and a killer looking presentation would be nice with the diary, but i'm not going to go down that road for now, as it would just take me too long to post up. I think different people bring different strengths to their diaries...my main strength I would like to think , is getting into the characters and storylines.

Genghis Rahn vs Stink (Hardcore Rules) Stink sucks soemthign awful and even with him techncially being the heel side of this I don't want him to take any wins. Painful Procedure vs Chosen Ones (Non Title) Non-Title clause saus that the challenger always wins the non title match Ricky Dale Johnson vs Charlie Thatcher As much as a hate Thatcher and not in the good way you're supposed to hate the bad guy, I see a tainted win here to really build up some heat against RDJ. World Title 4-Way: Tommy Cornell vs BLZ Bubb vs Liberty vs Peter Valentine Liberty and Valentine have a falling out over Valentine's in ring antics against Liberty when thye should be working together. Valentine turns heel and he and Liberty Feud giving Cornell a chance to do a program with a growing talent to bring him up to the Main Event.
