Smackdown: Gettin' it Right

I'll make this short and sweet...as I am not one for long backstories. I thought it about it for a while, which company I would take hold of in a diary. I like the freedom that TNA would allow me to have, and knew that WWE were kind of set in their ways. Then again, this is a game and it would allow me to sort of, "right the wrong's'', if you will. So, I've decided on Smackdown! I've broken WWE down into three seperate companies because, quite frankly, it'd be too much to handle. I play in my free time and believe me it's not much. Anyway, i'm going to start off in November of 06. I'll just assume King Booker keeps his title at Cyber Sunday. Survivor Series will be my first pay per view at the end of the month. Now, what i've done with joint ppv's is knocked them down to two and a half hours for each Raw and Smackdown! Except for Wrestlemania which will be three hours long. They will still be on the same days but it adds more of a competitive feel to it. So, I'm looking at it from the standpoint of Vince McMahon is tired of seeing ratings in the high 2's and low 3's compared to the hay-day of the monday night wars when they were doing 5's and 6's.

It is not known if the WWE is interested in any of these performers at the time. [B]WWE News:[/B] It has been reported that WWE Smackdown! has serious plans to strenghten the cruiserweight division. This seems to be the case as they are in talks with Teddy Annis, otherwise known as Teddy Hart as well as Davey Richards. The two would certainly be great additions to a floundering division. At a recent indy show, New Jack again told the crowd on hand that WWE contacted him about bringing him in. He is in full battle armour, much like a true king would where if he were heading into a war. They get off the horse and get into the ring to a chorus of boos. King Booker poses to the crowd before grabbing a microphone. "Loyal subjects", he addresses the crowd. "Your King is never one to back down from a battle". "At Cyber Sunday, I looked into the eyes of the beast, I did not back down." Queen Sharmell claps for her King. "Although I did not come out victorious on that night I still stand here before you as World Heavyweight Champion". "As your King I can assure you that I will continue to be a fighting champion, and not only take on any peasant that revolts against me, but swiftly strike them down". King Booker pauses for a moment and gives off a look of humbleness that only a can can do...much to the crowds displeasure. As he raises the microphone to speak again he is cut off by General Manager Theodore Long's arrival on stage. " Hold on a minute, Booker." "I'm real glad to hear you say that you'll continue to be a fighting champion." "I really am... cause I've decided that at Survivor Series it will be King Booker defending the World Heavyweight Championship against...'The Animal' Batista." The crowd pops. King Booker isn't happy about the decision. "But tonight, Booker, I hope you can find a tag team partner cause your in a match against Batista and his tag team partner Bobby Lashley." Long walks back through the entrance as his music hits once more. The Boogeyman comes out from the entrance and stalks the ring. Chavo looks as if he's just seen a ghost the Boogeyman goes after Guerrero who snaps out of the trance and quickly exits the ring before he can be caught. The Boogeyman reaches into his pockets, pulls out a handfull of earthworms, then proceeds to put them in his mouth and chew them. Chavo heads up the ramp in fear and disgust.[/I][B]C+[/B] [B][SIZE="2"]I'LL STEP UP[/SIZE][/B] [I]Kristal stood backstage with Gregory Helms as he told everyone that the longest reigning champion is sports entertainment will step up to the plate and team with King Booker to face Batista and Lashley.[/I][B]C+[/B] [B][U][SIZE="2"]LASHLEY/BATISTA vs BOOKER/HELMS[/SIZE][/U][/B] Batista gets the victory over Gregory Helms with a Batista Bomb after King Booker basically feeds Helms to the wolves and leaves him high and dry. Thanks for the feedback. I'm using T-Zone's data, but have broken WWE down to 3 different promotions. Also, changed some of the gimmick ratings for the wrestlers. As we all know there are alot of pretty stupid gimmicks the WWE are using right now (for example: Jimmy Wang Yang, too damn talented for that b.s. And I won't even get started on the King Booker gimmick. But I have to roll with it for now.) so I've adjusted accordingly. There are new characters I want to introduce as well as changing some gimmicks of established guys but you can't do that over night. So stay tuned.

Nice pickups to smackdown roster The Briscoes (Everyone loves the Briscoes, I think that almost all diary writers pick them up...I know I will) Davey Richards should add some intensity to cruiser battles Caprice Coleman is an interesting talent...Looking forward to see how you develope him Eric Young is solid Havana Pitbulls give you another solid tag team and battles with The Briscoes could be a nice start

Once inside he grabs a microphone. The crowd clearly behind him he goes to speak. " Booker T..King Booker, whatever you want to call yourself! You have something that belongs to me. Something that I never lost, something I had to simply hand over. And now the time has come for me to take back what's mine...the World Heavyweight Championship! You can do whatever you need to do to psyche yourself up. Whether it's to come down to this ring on horseback, a magic carpet...hell I don't care! Or you can ignore me like you did last week. Doesn't matter a bit. What's coming is coming. And no matter what you can't change that. So what I want you to do, Booker, is enjoy it. Wear that belt wherever you go...use it to hold together your bathrobe at home cause in two weeks it will be returned to it's rightfull owner. Lashley, not knowing what's behind him turns around and is met by a series of right hands by Kennedy. Kennedy whips Lashley across the ring but Lashley is able to counter with a shoulder block. Kennedy staggers to his feet and is powerslammed by Lashley. Kennedy quickly rolls out of the ring and onto the arena floor. He pulls himself together and heads for the entrance with his tail tucked between his legs.[/I] [B]B-[/B] [I]Backstage Kristal stood with Tatanka and his new partner Funaki, with a slightly different look about him. Actually, Funaki corrects Kristal by stating that he is now to be referred to as Funaka. He is wearing a native american head dress and face paint similar to Tatanka. The only real difference is Funaka has on a tradional martial arts gi and welding a ninja sword on his side. Funaka states that his great, great, great, grandfather was a member of the chippewa tribe and that we would like to honor his native american heritage. The two then head to the ring for their match.[/I] [B]C-[/B] [I]As the newest tag team on the Smackdown! roster, The Coyote Whisperers were in the ring General Manager Theodore Long came out and announced that the winner of this upcoming tag team bout will qualify for the last remaining spot in a 4 way tag team match at Survivor Series, with the winner of that match getting a shot at The Hooligans later that night for the WWE Tag Team titles. The other three teams are The Gymini, K.C. James and Idol Stevens and William Regal and Dave Taylor.[/I] [B]C-[/B] [B][U][SIZE="2"]COYOTE WHISPERERS vs BRISCOE BROTHERS[/SIZE][/U][/B] In what everyone thought to be a squash match the unknown team of the Briscoes Brothers upset the Coyote Whisperers to earn the final spot in the 4 way tag team match at Survivor Series after Jay Briscoe pinned Funaka with a Jay driver. [B]Winner: Briscoe Brothers C[/B] [I]Backstage we see the arrival of King Booker and his Queen Sharmell in their limo. As they step out of the car two well dressed unknown men walk up, the first man, very soft spoken and politely introduces hismelf as well as his friend as Amir Rashad and Malik Saad, and ask if they could speak with the two of them for a minute. At First King Booker is apposed to the idea but something about the two men seems to soften him and he invites them to join him and his queen in their locker room.[/I] [B]C[/B] [I]A video recap of last week's main event between King Booker and Chris Benoit and how Matt Hardy accidently hit Benoit with the United States title causing him to lose the match.[/I] [B]A[/B] [I]Matt Hardy stood next to Kristal who asked him what his intensions were last week and why he got involved in Chris Benoit's match. Hardy says that he wanted Chris Benoit to be a full health for there match at Survivor Series for the U.S. Championship. He claims that Benoit is the best wrestler in the world today and he felt like if he were to beat Benoit, at 100%, then that would make everyone see that Matt Hardy is one of the best in the world. He then goes on to apologize to Benoit and says that what happened last week was purely accidental.[/I] [B]C+[/B] [I]JBL and Michael Cole talked about the situation between the tag team champions, the Hooligans, and William Regal and Dave Taylor as a video package of the beatdown last week from Regal and Taylor rolled. London was bound and determined not to let what happened to him last week happen to his partner. " What the General Manager Theodore Long fails to see is that I have a clause in my contract that states that the MVP is to be informed who his opponent will be five days before he's set to face him. That way I have adequate time to prepare myself, and get in the best shape I can be in. Last week, Theodore Long breached that contract. I tell you what, my lawyer was prepared to shut this company down over the situation. But being the man I am I told him to hold off on that. I told him that Theodore Long is a good man and that he'll come out here tonight and apologise for breaching and throwing the MVP that ''Big Red Curveball'' last week." The General Manager's music hits and Theodore Long comes out holding a mic. "Listen up, Montel. Last week, you're right, I did breach your contract...and for that I apologise to you." A smile of satisfaction comes over MVP's face, he knows he just got one over the GM. "So, I tell you what I'll do for you, playa. At Survivor Series in two weeks it will be you, Montel Vontavious Porter taking on "The Big Red Machine" Kane. And MVP, there won't be any running from the match this time cause falls will count anywhere!
