-12/1/06- iMPACT Results From Orlando, Flordia By Keith Anderson (Taken from pwinsider.com) This edition of iMPACT was brought to us from TNA's homebase, Universal Studios in Orlando. It was their first time there in four weeks and the crowd was ready for it, all 1,000 seats were filled in anticipation. It looked to be an explosive show, Sting's partner should be revealed and the X-Division tournament continues. To open up the broadcast Tenay and West immediatley hyped the main event for tonight, Abyss going one on one with NWA Champion Sting in a non-title match. Overall Rating: C Following that Mike Tenay and Don West informed us of a huge match made by Jim Cornette for Turning Point. As a result of last week's main event and the constant problems between a certain four men, this match was made. Christopher Daniels and Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, a rematch from last week on iMPACT, this time going down at Turning Point. Overall Rating: B Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe This match had very much do to with the tag match that was announced for Turning Point, classic TNA rematch here in this one. Great opening bout, got the crowd into the match with several spots early, not to mention Joe really playing into a heel role more and more each week which is coming across on television great. Daniels attempted the Last Rites, however it was countered as Joe attempted a Muscle Buster. Daniels would get out of that and pick up the win with a small package which came as a huge shock to Samoa Joe. Winner: Christopher Daneils @ 11:52 Overall Rating: C After the match Daniels was helping himself up using the ropes as Joe rolled to the outside and grabbed a chair, he slowly walked towards Daniels and Daniels noticed he was in trouble. Before anything could happen though Kurt Angle slides into the ring with his own chair and Joe runs out and up the ramp starring back at Angle and Daniels. Overall Rating: B Backstage an argument has broken out between The Naturals and Raven and Kidman, it isn't clear what it was about however several referee's and staff members were holding the two teams apart. Overall Rating: D America's Most Wanted vs. The Naturals AMW are still trying to gain some kind of momentum in their quest to once again become tag champions and The Naturals are looking for a spark to send them in that direction. The match was mostly dominated by AMW who made frequent tags and kept in Andy Douglas for more than half of the match. When Stevens did finally get in he was met with right hands and double teams, which lead to AMW picking up the win in a pretty easy fashion, still trying to get another shot at Tag Team gold. Winners: America's Most Wanted @ 8:38 Overall Rating: C+ Following the match as both members of The Naturals were just slowly starting to get up in the ring Raven and Kidman came in looking to finish them off. Raven hit an evenflow on each one of them, and then laid one on top of the other, then Kidman hit a shooting star press onto both men while on top of each other, which looked like it hurt Kidman just as much. Raven helped Kidman out of the ring and to the back. Overall Rating: D X-Division #1 Contender Tournament Semi-Final Alex Shelley vs. Petey Williams This match would decide the first man to be in the finals of the tournament for next week and it was clear both wanted it and wanted to put on a great match. The crowd wasn't hot for the entire match, but several spots including Shelley hitting a hurricanrana from the top rope that sent Williams to the outside and Williams hitting the Canadian Destroyer on the outside of the ring also. Williams wasn't able to get the win after that though, which was a shock to almost everyone in the building. Shelley was able to score the win with a fisherman's suplex though, allowing him to advance to the finals. Winner: Alex Shelley @ 7:56 Overall Rating: C+ X-Division #1 Contender Tournament Semi-Final Senshi vs. Jay Lethal This match would determine who would advance to take on Alex Shelley next week and it was just as good as the first semi-final match, if not a little better. Early on Lethal went for a cross body block but Senshi hit him mid-air with a kick to the stomach, followed by some to the back of the head and face. Lethal really showed his resilliance though, taking stiff shot after another and several stiff slams and other moves. In the end Senshi was too much though and made Lethal tap out with a dragon sleeper. Winner: Senshi Overall Rating: C+ Out in the parking lot Mike Awesome is seen looking around as he approaches a car, he opens the door, looks around some more and climbs slowly into the back of the car. Overall Rating: F Tenay and West once again go over the announcement for the match that was made earlier for Turning Point. Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles. Overall Rating: B AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle The second of the two matches of the night that relate to the tag match announced for Turning Point, this one went a little longer and saw two more of TNA's best one on one. Angle hit several suplexes to start and kept Styles grounded but it didn't last forever. Styles broke open the match with his quick offense, at one point sweeping Angle down and hitting a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Angle regained contorl though and got the ankle lock on, however Styles escaped twice. Minutes later Angle got it on again, Styles once again escaped and this time rolled out of the ring and basically threw a fit, then slowly backed up the ramp until he was count out. Winner: Kurt Angle @ 15:44 Overall Rating: B+ Cameras followed Styles backstage and like last week he started throwing and kicking things, screaming something about Christopher Daniels at one point, then shoving the camera man down as well. Overall Rating: B Backstage once more and this time it is Senshi and Chris Sabin getting in a heated argument about the X-Division title that Sabin is carrying. Senshi slaps Sabin and Sabin slaps him back and then shoving starts. Before anything can break out TNA Commissioner Jim Cornette steps between them and says if this activity keeps up he will punish both men, which causes both to slowly walk away. Overall Rating: C- Back at ringside Tenay and West have another annoucement, this time a match for next week on iMPACT. It will be tag team action, The Naturals vs. Raven and Billy Kidman. Overall Rating: D Rhino vs. Billy Kidman This was Rhino's chance at revenge after Kidman cost him his match with Raven at Genesis and he didn't waste any time at all. Beating down Kidman from the opening bell, he had control the entire match until Kidman hit a low blow and started to go on the offensive. Just as Kidman gained more and more of an advantage Raven came out to the ring, however Kidman had his back turned, Raven then nailed Kidman on the back of the head with a singapore cane allowing Rhino to hit a gore. Rhino got the pin and looked confused after the match as Raven pulled Kidman out of the ring and carried him to the back. Winner: Rhino @ 7:57 Overall Rating: C+ LAX then made their way to the ring to very loud boos and American flags waving in the crowd. Konan had several stiches in his forehead and soon addressd the crowd... "Team 3D, you think you can assault me, leave me in a pool of my own blood and then think you can get away with it? That is far from the truth and far from what is going to happen at all. Last week my two boys here said that we had a special type of challenge for you two, one that is so brutal and so violent it hasn't ever been done in TNA before. Not only that but we're willing to put the NWA tag team titles on the line just for you to accept. So our challenge is quite simple, at Turning Point LAX is challenging Team 3D to a Latino Death Match. In case you're wondering what that is, these ropes will not be present, but in their place will be razor sharp barbed wire. However that isn't all, since Team 3D likes tables so much there will also be tables at ringside wrapped in the same razor sharp barbed wire. You see Team 3D, we're not only looking to end this feud we have with you, we're looking to end whatever career you have left. So if you accept our challenge, please dont by shy about it." Overall Rating: C Backstage in the interview area Sting gives a few words warning not only Abyss but Christian Cage about messing with the wrong man, and that tonight they will find out just what two men they shouldn't be messing with. Overall Rating: B Main Event Sting vs. Abyss Started off with both men trading shots in the middle of the ring and the crowd being very into it. A big match hype was in the air and neither man held anything back, Abyss went for the Black Hole Slam early but it was countered, same as Stings attempted at the Scorpian Death Drop. Abyss looked to have control after catching Sting going for a splash and slamming him down hard. However Sting would come back once again and he would hit the Scorpian Death Drop on Abyss for the win. Winner: Sting @ 18:08 Overall Rating: B After the match Christian Cage hit the ring and Abyss and Cage started doing a number on Sting but it didn't last for long. Running from the back and sliding into the ring to help out Sting was none other than Jeff Jarrett! Jarrett helped throw out Abyss and Cage and then held Sting's arm up in the air with the NWA title in Sting's hand. Overall Rating: B As Cage and Abyss backed up the ramp Sting grabbed a mic and said he would like to introduce his partner for his match against Christian Cage and Abyss at Turning Point, Jeff Jarrett. Overall Rating: A Overall Show Rating: B Attendence: 1,000

-12/2/06- TNA News & Notes, Turning Point Card Thus Far By Keith Anderson (Taken from pwinsider.com) After iMPACT this past Thursday night, here is what TNA.com has listed as the current card for Turning Point, including the "double main event". Main Event I Kurt Angle/Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe/AJ Styles Main Event II Sting/Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage/Abyss X-Division Championship Chris Sabin(c) vs. Senshi or Alex Shelley TNA officials were very happy with the crowd last night in Orlando, however they still would like to keep taking iMPACT and the PPV's on the road, expect a full East Coast tour announced within the next week sometime. As you may or may not have noticed on this weeks iMPACT, CEO and head booker Kevin Treyhill would like to change the iMPACT format slightly, shortening some of the matches, allowing for more shorter matches, thus allowing them to fit more talent on the show. Something to really look out for starting next week. However, he is happy with how Genesis went in terms of matches, allowing each match plenty of time. Several people that I have talked to were pretty surprised to hear TNA looks to be having a no rope barbed wire match at Turning Point, if Team 3D accepts the challenge, no reason they won't though. From what we can make of it, it really is showing some moxy by the TNA staff, not to mention the workers who will be involved. When it's all said and done I do think it will be the most brutal match in TNA history, hands down. Within the coming weeks TNA also would like to start putting together programs for some of the talent that has just been floating around, America's Most Wanted and several members of the X-Division for example. Look for things to start moving into place next week.

-12/8/06- iMPACT Results Flordia! By Keith Anderson (Taken from pwinsider.com) This edition of iMPACT came to us from the Silver Spurs Arena, not quite a sellout but roughly 9,870 fans were there to see this edition of iMPACT, here are the results for the evening... To open the show we had a video hyping the tag team match of Kurt Angle/Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe/AJ Styles at Turning Point. Overall Rating: B+ Following that we had another video hyping the match of Christian Cage/Abyss vs. Sting/Jeff Jarrett at Turning Point. Overall Rating: B+ X-Division #1 Contender Tournament Final Senshi vs. Alex Shelley The winner of this match would move onto face Chris Sabin in two weeks at Turning Point and both men put it on the line. Senshi continued his some what dominate streak in the ring, throughout the entire match being as intense as ever. Shelley had several near falls that the fans in attendence were almost sure he had, however Senshi pulled out a win in the end, by using the ropes for leverage though. Winner: Senshi @ 8:31 Overall Rating: B- Backstage the team of Raven and Billy Kidman went over how last week they didn't really have a problem with The Naturals but that this week they would take care of whatever problem there might be. Raven was spot on, however the same can't be said for Billy Kidman, even though his speaking role was limited. Raven also mentioned they will be tough, just as he has been showing Billy tough love by causing him to lose matches. Quite the character Raven has become once again. Overall Rating: C- The Naturals vs. Raven & Billy Kidman The Naturals looked to be nothing more than a job squad in this one, Kidman hit a shooting star press as both ben were on top of each other, as he has done before. Raven spent most of the ring on the apron, letting Kidman do the work, however he came in and hit the Evenflow and picked up the win. Winners: Raven & Billy Kidman @ 6:51 Overall Rating: C+ After the match Raven got a microphone and called out Rhino, saying he knows Rhino has some issues with him so he would like to clear the air of them once and for all at Turning Point, if Rhino would accept that is. Overall Rating: B- Rhino came out on the ramp and said he would gladly take on Raven at Turning Point and it would be his pleasure to finally shut Raven up, once and for all. Overall Rating: C Mike Tenay and Don West then hyped up the main event that we would be seeing later tonight, Sting going one on one with Abyss in a non-title match. Overall Rating: B Petey Williams vs. Roderick Strong vs. Austin Aries Good thing to see these three have been able to get a spot on the show, especially Strong who hasn't been on in quite some time. This was a fast moving match as they tried to get as much in with the time they had and that did show, Aries got a tornado ddt off the ring apron to the floor on Strong, however Williams would hit the Canadian Destroyer on Aries for the win. I hope these guys get more time to work together with some more time also. Winner: Petey Williams @ 5:42 Overall Rating: C Back in the interview area the team of Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels explained how their upcoming match with America's Most Wanted will be a preview of what Samoa Joe and AJ Styles can expect at Turning Point. Overall Rating: B Kurt Angle & Christopher Daniels vs. America's Most Wanted This match pretty much stole the show, Angle and Daniels showed why they're being pushed so much on tv and AMW showed how much they need to be pushed on tv. AMW had several moments in the match where they argued, which was good since it showed their disagreements were a cause to lose and not just being out wrestleed, allowing them to keep some heat. In the end though Angle and Daniels picked up the win in what was one hell of a match though. Winners: Kurt Angle & Christopher Daniels Overall Rating: A After the match Samoa Joe and AJ Styles both came out and stood on the entrance ramp as Daniels and Angle kept yelling for them to come to the ring. After more starring Styles and Joe slowly left. Overall Rating: B+ Backstage Team 3D say they have something short and simple to say, they accept the challenge from LAX for the Latino Deathmatch at Turning Point and that they look forward to not just that, but Brother Ray taking on Homicide next. Overall Rating: C Brother Ray vs. Homicide Although their respective partners were at ringside, no interference happened here, shocking but still nice. Back and forth match, Homicide really sold well and helped Ray look good, in the end that was the central theme as Brother Ray got the clean pinfall on Homicide. Winner: Brother Ray Overall Rating: B- In Sting's lockerroom him and Jeff Jarrett are talking, Sting says he is thankful that Jarrett has Sting's back. Jarrett says don't worry about a thing tonight except the match. Overall Rating: A Samoa Joe vs. Jay Lethal Classic X-Division matchup here, however not much of a classic wrestling match. Joe basically tossed Lethal around the ring like a rag doll the entire match, refusing to break holds and arguing with the referee. His heel heat is rising for sure and it kept up as he refused to release the choke at the end of the match after Lethal had passed out. Winner: Samoa Joe Overall Rating: C+ Not only did Joe not release the choke, after he did he continued the assault, with back to back muscle busters and then a powerbomb onto a steel chair. Overall Rating: C- Backstage we see Rhino and Mike Awesome talking, Rhino says he is glad he can trust Awesome since he needs someone to watch his back with Raven around. Awesome says that he can't stand Raven or Kidman either and is glad to be helping out Rhino. Overall Rating: C- AJ Styles vs. Brother Runt Nothing says squash match like this one right here, Styles controlled this one from the opening bell and got plenty of boo's after hitting the Styles Clash twice before covering Brother Runt for the easy, easy win. Winner: AJ Styles @ 4:32 Overall Rating: B- Cameras quickly turn around a corner backstage and we see Abyss and Christian Cage throwing Jeff Jarrett into a garge door, then stomping away at him. Jarrett is bleeding and can't defend himself at all, Abyss then picks Jarrett up and slams him right through a catering table. Cage and Abyss both run as Sting comes running over with a bat, he kneels down to Jarrett as others come over and yells for someone to get paramedics. Overall Rating: B Main Event Sting vs. Abyss Abyss came out with Christian Cage at his side, however Jarrett wasn't with Sting for obvious reasons. Quite a long one here, most of what Abyss and sting did in their match a few weeks ago, looked much better this time and Stings interaction with Cage on the outside was great. Sting had a good deal of offense even with Cage at ringside and was able to get a pinfall after a Scorpian Death Drop when he escaped the Black Hole Slam. Winner: Sting @ 19:51 Overall Rating: B What happened next almost everyone saw coming, Cage jumped Sting from behind and the beat down was on. Abyss and Cage each hit a finisher, then Abyss hit another Black Hole Slam onto thumbtacks that James Mitchell ran down to the ring with. To end the show Abyss and Cage stood over a downed Sting and raised their arms in victory. Overall Rating: B Overall Show Rating: B

Involving TNA's eight biggest stars, there will be an eight man tag team elimination match... Sting/Jeff JarrettKurt Angle/Christopher Daniels vs. Christian Cage/Abyss/Samoa Joe/AJ Styles It will be elimination rules, the match will go until only one man is left, thus that team being the winner. Also announced for iMPACT are the following matches... America's Most Wanted vs. The Naturals Petey Williams vs. Roderick Strong Rhino vs. Billy Kidman TNA also has mini interviews on their site with some wrestlers with their thoughts on the upcoming Latino Deathmatch at Turning Point, some that have commented are Austin Aries, Ron Killings and Mike Awesome. All discussing how brutal they're expecting it to be, not to mention that they wouldn't think of being in such a match. Rumors have been spread about a pretty huge debut from someone at Turning Point, not sure if it's a manager, wrestler or staff type person, however lots of rumors have been flying that it will be a well known person in the business.

I'd like to see you use more time for matches, especially those X division guys who could go all night long and given the time could tell a good story in their matches...Just my personal preference, though.. I agree with you about tag team situation and it almost looked like it was going to happen with Dudley's or erh Team 3-D.... Have I mentioned how I dislike Russo!

-12/15/06- TNA iMPACT Results From Orlando, Last Show Before Turning Point By Keith Anderson (Taken from pwinsider.com) Here it is, the final show before TNA puts on their second PPV under the new umbrealla that the new CEO Kevin Treyhill has created. Last nights show did have some down moments, with several segments not getting too much love from the crowd, however it did continue to put more and more talent on air and start to build more and more stories and saw the return of a couple workers who have been absent from tv for a bit. Lets get to the results... Dark Match Sonjay Dutt vs. Matt Bently Bentlly is back from a little time off so this was his chance to get back out in front of the crowd, as for Dutt he still hasn't found a spot on tv yet, that could change in the future though. Good match to get the crowd going at Universal Studios. Bently picked up the win with a huge superkick however, and got a good amount of heat from the crowd. Winner: Matt Bently @ 9:43 Overall Rating: C+ To open up the broadcast we had a video to go along with Mike Tenay and Don West hyping up the huge main event that was advertised on Spike TV all week, on TNA's site and other wrestling sites. Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, Sting and Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Abyss. Overall Rating: B+ Backstage Chris Harris and James Storm of AMW are having a small argument, they go back and forth about what they need to do to get back the tag titles and then decide it starts tonight with taking out the struggling team of Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens, The Naturals. Overall Rating: C- America's Most Wanted vs. The Naturals The Naturals couldn't decide on who would start the match but Douglas finally seemed to be the one. Both teams went back and forth exchanging tags, as the match wore on AMW slowly started to gain much more momentum though. Once the tides turned Stevens held James Storm while Douglas went for a dropkick, Storm moved though which lead to Douglas taking out Stevens. Chris Harris took advantage and then took out Douglas for the win. Winners: America's Most Wanted @ 10:13 Overall Rating: C+ After the match Stevens and Douglas are obviously upset with each other after another loss and get into a pushing match, then exchange slaps across the face. Before it can evolve into something else several referees pull them apart. Overall Rating: C- Backstage once again Alex Shelley is talking to Jim Cornette how he deserves a shot at Chris Sabin and the X-Division title. Cornette tells him that Senshi earned the shot after beating Shelley last week, Shelley says he deserves one and wants to prove it. Overall Rating: C Cornette says a few things under his breath and then says that Shelley can have a match next against Senshi, if he wins it will be a triangle match at Turning Point for the X-Division title. Overall Rating: C- Senshi vs. Alex Shelley Shelley started out with lots of fire, taking Senshi to the outside early and continuing to gain more and more offense. Back in the ring though Senshi slowed things back down after unleashing some offense with several kicks, Shelley ducked a final one and hit a sweep, and a leg drop followed by a near fall. The match went on with Senshi once again gaining control, after another huge kick Shelley went to the apron, once Senshi turned around though Shelley hit a springboard hurricanrana into a pin and got a three count, earing a shot against Sabin and Senshi at Turning Point. Winner: Alex Shelley @ 9:33 Overall Rating: C+ After the match Chris Sabin walks out and stands on the entrance ramp holding up the X-Division title and pointing to himself, showing that he is still the champion for now. Overall Rating: C- Rhino vs. Billy Kidman Another chance for Rhino to get revenge here, but also another chance for Rhino to be messed with by Raven and Kidman. Kidman didn't get too much offense in at all, Rhino was simply too determined for Kidman to stand up to him for too long, after a gore Kidman was all finished. Winner: Rhino @ 4:52 Overall Rating: C+ After the match Raven runs into the ring with a singapore cane, he gets one shot on Rhino, just as he tries for another Mike Awesome is in the ring and Raven bails out and helps Kidman to the back. Overall Rating: C- Jeremy Borash is backstage with the returning Bobby Roode before his upcoming match, Roode says that since he is now fully healed and injury free he is ready to get back into his climb at becoming the best there is in TNA. He says that nobody, including his opponent Jay Lethal tonight can stop him and that it's wrong to even put Lethal in a match with him, considering how bad he could hurt the young X-Division star. Overall Rating: C- Bobby Roode vs. Jay Lethal The match started off with Roode not being able to catch the quick Lethal, once he did though he started working on the shoulder of Lethal after sending it into the ringpost. The match wore on and on with Roode using hold after hold and move after move all focused right on the shoulder of Lethal. As the match went on the crowd began to get behind Lethal to turn things around, after a series of european uppercuts, Lethal ducked a huge clothesline by Roode and hit the Lethal Injection to score the pinfall. Winner: Jay Lethal @ 8:18 Overall Rating: C+ Austin Aries is backstage and seems frustrated, he says that last week he got beat by Roderick Strong his former tag team partner and Petey Williams. Most peole would be happy with the competitioin but all he wants is a rematch to prove himself, he said that after they destroy each other tonight in their upcoming match that he would some how, some way get a shot at them this Sunday at Turning Point and that he was off to discuss it with Jim Cornette. Overall Rating: D Roderick Strong vs. Petey Williams Classic collar and elbow tieup to start, Strong gained control after putting Williams in the corner, hitting shoulder thrusts and then pulling him out and hitting multiple rib breakers. After a camel clutch variation, Williams took down Strong with a dropkick and then put him into a bow and arrow. Both men came to their feet once again after some reversals, Strong hits a huge butterfly suplex, however Williams gets up hits a running clothesline. After Strong gets up and ducks another though, Williams turns and gets caught by Strong who hits a Gory Driver and gets the cover. Winner: Roderick Strong @ 8:06 Overall Rating: C+ After the match Tenay and West announce another match for Turning Point along with an on-screen graphic. Just as Austin Aries wanted it will be Aries vs. Roderick Strong vs. Petey Williams in a triangle match. Overall Rating: E Chris Sabin vs. Elix Skipper Next up we had Sabin vs. Skipper in a non-title match, Sabin looked to have this one wrapped up only a few minutes into it, Skipper started to get in some offense but Sabin quickly ended it and soon hit the Future Shock for the easy win over Skipper. Winner: Chris Sabin Overall Rating: 5:47 Next up we had a nice video package that lasted about three minutes setting up the Latino Deathmatch for the NWA Tag Team Championship between LAX and team 3D. It showed the history between the two teams in the past five weeks or so and recaped the match at Genesis. Tenay and West mentioned after the video that neither team wanted to be in action tonight to prepare themsevles for the brutality they would face at Turning Point. Overall Rating: B Ron Killings vs. Simon Diamond This match featured two workers that have been off tv for awhile, Killings has only had a few matches on tv since new management took over and Diamond hasn't been on tv at all for more than a month. Match started off quite slow with Killings getting the best of Diamond early, show boating and taunting which the crowd loved but Diamond was getting more and more frustrated. Diamond started to gain composure and started to wear down Killings with multiple holds, Killings started to come back though, hitting several chops, then sending Diamond into the ropes, hitting the splits then the Consequence and got the cover. Winner: Ron Killings Overall Rating: C+ Tenay and West tell us they have another match announcement for Turning Point and they can't believe it, one on one it will be Chase Stevens vs. Andy Douglas. The two tag team partners will square off to try and settle their differences. Overall Rating: C- Main Event Elimination Match Sting/Jeff Jarrett/Kurt Angle/Christopher Daniels vs. Christian Cage/Abyss/Samoa Joe/AJ Styles Sting and Cage started the match off, both going back and forth, multiple tags were made and as Kurt Angle and Abyss were in the ring the rest of the six men were brawling on the outside, allowing Angle to get the ankle lock on and eliminate Abyss at 5:43. The next elimination came when Samoa Joe and AJ Styles double teamed Jeff Jarrett, Joe hit a Muscle Buster and Styles then hit the Spinal Tap while the other men were once again on the outside brawling, Styles made the pin to eliminate Jarrett at 8:12. The next elimination came right after that, Sting came in after Jarrett was eliminated, threw Joe to the outside and hit the Scorpian Death Drop on Styles, eliminating him at 9:14. The back and forth would continue with Christopher Daniels being hit on the outside with a steel chair, rolled into the ring and Cage hitting the Unprettier eliminating Daniels at 14:42. Only four men remain now, Sting and Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage and Samoa Joe. All four men went at in the ring for quite some time until Angle was thrown to the outside allowing a double team on Sting. Joe first took out Sting with a running forearm, then Cage picked him up and hit the Unprettier, while Joe fought off Angle, Sting was eliminated at 21:34. Angle came back into the ring now with a fire going under him again, hitting right hands on Cage, then turning around and hitting a huge belly to belly suplex on Joe. Angle pulled down his straps and the crowd goes crazy, he walks over to Cage and applies the anke lock, Cage doesn't last long and taps out to be eliminated at 25:56. It's now down to Angle and Joe, they go face to face and then start trading shots back and forth with the crowd going crazy. Joe whips Angle into the ropes and hits a running shoulder block, he pulls Angle up and goes around for the choke but Angle drops down and applies the anke lock on Joe, Joe starts going towards the ropes but Angle drops down and wraps up Joes leg with his, Joe can't hold on and Joe taps out. Winners: Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, Sting and Jeff Jarrett @ 27:28. Overall Rating: A After the match the four winnners all stand in the ring and celebrate while the fans cheer and Tenay and West plug Turning Point this Sunday one last time. -12/18/06- TNA Turning Point Results By Keith Anderson (Taken from pwinsider.com) Last night TNA put on their second PPV under their new management, it was held the same place as their last in Orlando at the TD Waterhouse Centre, which helps get a crowd since it's TNA's usual town where they hold shows in. However it will be interesting to see where TNA goes with their PPV's after this, they already Stated iMPACT will be doing a full East Coast tour, but now to the results of the show. Dark Match Matt Bentley vs. Shark Boy No surprise that the crowd was hot and behind Shark Boy, however the crowd couldn't help him get the win. Bentley continues on with the dark matches before coming back on tv, good to see they want to get him fully back into things though. Winner: Matt Bentley @ 11:59 Overall Rating: C To kick off the show Mike Tenay and Don West announce a match for tonight that was just made earlier, in a rematch from iMPACT it will be Ron "The Truth" Killings going against Simon Diamond. Overall Rating: C- Next up we had a nice video showing the events leading up to LAX vs. Team 3D tonight, including Konnan in the hospital, the last match between the two teams and Konnan's challenge. Overall Rating: C+ NWA Tag Team Championship Latino Deathmatch LAX(c) vs. Team 3D Not too much of a surprise this one started things off since they could set up the barbed wire before the show started, also not surprising all four men had their hands taped very well. All four started in the ring and several times it looked like one would go into the barbed wire, the first to experience the flesh ripping wire was Brother Ray who was whipped into one side so hard he hit it and went to the floor bringing most of the barbed wire down to the floor with him. This brought on the first of many holy s**t chants during this match. In the ring Devon took several double team moves, as Brother Ray slowly got back up he moved one of the tables wrapped in barbed wire next to the ring. Brother Ray climbed back onto the ring but as soon as he did Homicide hit him with a dropkick sending him crashing through the table at ringside, bringing on another fecal chant. Devon started to gain some offense in the ring, even sending Hernandez into the barbed wire and right to the floor also, Homicide continued the assault on Devon in the ring though, Brother Ray slowly got back in and now they had the numbers advantage. As Hernandez got back in though LAX started to get back the advantage. Hernandez went to the outside where the wire and been taken to the floor and brought in one of the three tables there were left. He set it up in one of the corners although it would hardly stand against the wire and ringpost. However Homicide still took Devon over to it and hit a t-bone suplex onto it, the table barely broke as the barbed wire just collapsed underneath it, still a nasty bump to take and it brought another fecal chant. With Devon down Brother Ray tried to keep things going for Team 3D, after sending Hernandez into the wire he picked up Homicide and powerbomped him to the floor through one of the last two barbed wire tables, which brought on the biggest holy s**t chant TNA has ever seen. Hernandez hit Brother Ray from behind and then hit it with the border toss, almost sending him into the wire. Then from behind Devon with a fist wrapped in some barbed wire nailed Homicide right across the forehead sending him down in pain. Minutes passed as all three men slowly got back into the ring with Homicide still slowly getting up, Team 3D hit a double clothesline on Hernandez and then Brother Ray told Devon to get the tables. Devon went and brought in the last barbed wire table, Hernandez got up and was met with a 3D through the table, bringing on another fecal chant. Homicide crawled back into the ring, Konnan slid in one of the tag titles and Homicide hit Brother Ray right across the face with it sending him back into the what was left of barbed wire on one side and to the floor, Homicide then hit Devon with it, slowly picked him up and then hit the Cop Killa in the middle of the ring and got the cover to retain the titles. After the match as all four men were down almost every person in the building looked to be on their feet cheering. Winners: LAX @ 16:53 Overall Rating: C+ To allow time to clean up the ring area and set up the ropes Tenay and West talked about the match that had just happened, showed replays and plugged TNA’s next PPV, Final Resolution. Back on track now we had Austin Aries in the back with something to say. He said that tonight he would show the world he is better than Roderick Strong and Petey Williams, despite how he was beat by them two weeks ago. Overall Rating: E Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong vs. Petey Williams First of two triangle X-Division matches, first man to score a pinfall or submission will be the winner. The match started with Aries going right after Williams and then Strong going right after Aries. Williams hit a high back body drop on Aries and then Strong caught Williams with a running knee strike. Strong then got a double underhook on Aries and then a nasty backbreaker for a quick two count. Williams came in with a dropkick to the face of Strong for a two count, then Aries ran, jumped off the back of Strong and Williams with a hurricanrana into a pin for a two count. All three men then stood up as the crowd showed their appreciation. More continuous action occurred, each time each man getting the better of another resulting in more near falls. Nearing the end of the match Williams hit Strong with a northern lights suplex into a bridge, to break the pinfall Aries went off the ropes and came right down across Williams with a asai moonsault. After that Williams rolled to one of the corners clutching his stomach, Strong and Aries then exchanged elbows, Aries hit a brainbuster, went up top and hit a 450 splash on Strong and got a three count just as Williams came over and tried to break it up. Winner: Austin Aries @ 12:48 Overall Rating: C Backstage Rhino was with Jeremy Borash, Rhino explained that Raven can’t do a thing tonight to escape the beating he will be getting. Even if Billy Kidman tries to get involved, Rhino has backup and this time Kidman and Raven will pay for messing with Rhino at all. Overall Rating: C+ Raven is sitting against a wall backstage and explains that even if Rhino wins tonight that Raven will still have the upperhand on him and he always will. Raven says that Rhino knows what that means and he knows that Rhino is worried about what Raven could do to him not just physically but mentally. Overall Rating: B- Raven vs. Rhino Rhino attacked Raven before he could even get his jacket off, Rhino looked for a gore early but Raven saw it coming and rolled to the outside to avoid it. However Rhino followed him and threw him into the ring steps, then ripped off his jacket and started dropping forearms onto Raven’s spine. Back in the ring now Raven on the offense after a low blow, Raven is trying to pick up Rhino by the hair but Rhino stands and basically gores Rhino back into the corner but the referee gets taken out as well. Rhino then picks up Raven, Raven however hits another low blow and rolls to the outside, and pushes in a steel chair. He sets the chair up and sends Rhino into the ropes, Rhino blocks the drop toe hold and nails Rhino with a forearm, picks him up and body slams him across the seat of the steel chair. Rhino pushes the chair out and covers Raven but the referee is still trying to get up. Billy Kidman then runs down to the ring with a chair, he gets in the ring and swings for Rhino but he moves and smashes it on Ravens head as he was just getting up, then Rhino gores Kidman and he goes to the outside. Rhino then hits a piledriver on Raven, pulls the referee over and makes the cover. Winner: Rhino @ 10:22 Overall Rating: C+ After the match Billy Kidman is back in the ring and Rhino is getting up, just then Mike Awesome runs down to the ring with a steel chair of his own and slides into the ring, he looks at Kidman but turns and nails Rhino over the head with the chair. Then helps up Raven as Awesome, Kidman and Raven all hold each others arms up in victory after they have just screwed over Rhino. Overall Rating: C- Bobby Roode makes his way out to the ring to 14,000+ people booing, he climbs in the ring and grabs a microphone. Roode says that in this business you need two things, talent and someone that knows what to do with your talent. He said that he’s the best wrestler there is in TNA but he needs something else. He needs that person that will help direct his career, someone that can worry about the out of ring business, while he takes care of things in the ring. So he has found himself a manager that knows the business inside and out and would like to bring him out. Bobby Roode’s music hits again and out comes none other than Paul Heyman. Overall Rating: C- Paul Heyman makes his way down to the ring and takes the microphone from Roode, he says that everyone here knows who he is and that his goal here is simple. To make Bobby Roode the NWA World Champion and to finally have people recognize the supreme talent that Bobby Roode has. Also that it would start tonight when they take out the small and weak challenge known as Jay Lethal and that the last time he beat his client on iMPACT it was a fluke. Overall Rating: C- Bobby Roode vs. Jay Lethal Match starts off with a tieup, Roode shoves Lethal down and show boats. They go into another tieup and Roode again shoves Lethal down. They go for another but Lethal ducks down below, goes behind Roode and delivers a german suplex into a pin for just a two count. Roode gets up and about takes Lethal’s head off with a clothesline then puts his knee into Lethal’s back and puts on a chinlock. Lethal fights out of it, hits a snap suplex, fast leg drop and a cover. Lethal continues on with his fast paced offensive attack until Roode gains back control after a knee lift straight to Lethal’s face. Roode body slams Lethal and then drops an elbow. Roode then throws Lethal to the outside and Heyman gives him several kicks to the gut while Roode distracts the referee. Lethal comes back in and Roode goes for the Roode Awakening, however Lethal escapes but Lethal throws him to the outside again. Roode distracts the referee once again and this time right as Lethal gets into the ring Heyman climbs up on the apron and smashes on cell phone on the back of Lethal’s head. Roode picks up Lethal and hits the Roode Awakening and gets the pin. Winner: Bobby Roode @ 11:49 Overall Rating: C+ Next up a video was shown of The Naturals losing several matches on iMPACT in the past weeks, then the argument and fight they got in on Thursday night after their match. Overall Rating: D Andy Douglas vs. Chase Stevens Both men ran right at each other exchanging rights and lefts to begin the match, Stevens was backed into a corner and then both men exchanged several chops. Stevens hit a snapmare and then a kick to the back, followed by a dropkick to the back of the head. As Douglas got up he ducked a kick and hit a dropkick of his own that sent Stevens over the top rope. Douglas then springboarded onto the top rope and dove after Stevens, however Stevens moved and Douglas hit the guardrail hard. Stevens then set Douglas on the gaurdrail so he was straddling the rail. Stevens then grabbed a steel chair and threw it at Douglas, connecting with his head and sending him back into the crowd. Douglas then hit Stevens with a chair from the crowd as he was going after him, Douglas then threw Stevens back in the ring as the referee was warning them about a DQ or a count out. Douglas hits a backbreaker and then lifts Stevens back up again and hits another one. Goes for a pin but only gets a two count. Stevens tunrs things around with a tornado ddt but also only gets a two count. The match continued on back and forth and once again ended up on the outside. This time Stevens ran at Douglas as he was backed against the gaurdrail and he flipped him right into the crowd. Douglas followed him into the crowd and they continued to brawl though the crowd near the ringside area. After several minutes the referee finally called for the bell for a count out. Winner: Draw - Double Count Out @ 12:51 Overall Rating: C After the match Stevens and Douglas continued to brawl over to the entrance ramp. Hitting each other with chairs, crates and even choking each other with cables. They would eventually fight right backstage where Tenay and West said it would try to be broken up but they had to continue on. Overall Rating: C- Next up we had Mike Tenay and Don West hype the upcoming X-Division title match. They explained the tournament and how Shelley got into the match after beating Senshi in a rematch. Overall Rating: C- X-Division Championship Chris Sabin(c) vs. Senshi vs. Alex Shelley Match starts with Sabin and Senshi pointing fingers and arguing, after about a minute Shelley runs at them both and knocks them right over the top rope to the floor. He runs back off the ropes, towards them and flips right over the ropes and lands on both Senshi and Sabin. Shelley stands up and pumps his fist then throws Sabin back in the ring. He climbs up on the ring apron and then jumps down at Senshi, goes for a hurricanrana but Senshi lifts him back up and hits a sit down powerbomb on the outside. Back in the ring Sabin and Senshi exchange low kicks, followed by chops and finally elbows. Sabin locks in a hammer lock, Senshi reverses, sweeps Sabin down and gets him in a dragon sleeper. Shelley runs back in and hits a dropkick to the face of Senshi, then covers Sabin for a two count. Later in the match now Senshi has gained control, Shelley is in the tree of woe in one corner and he just body slammed Sabin. He then picks Sabin back upon his shoulder set for a power slam but instead runs at Shelley. He then throws Sabin and Shelley, sending Sabin’s shoulder right into Shelley’s gut. Sabin rolls to the outside right next to the apron and Senshi hits a baseball slide sending Sabin into the gaurdrail. Shelley is now back up and hits Senshi from behind, grabs him and hits a tiger suplex into a pin for a near fall. Even later in the match now all three men are on the outside. Shelley has just rolled inside and Sabin runs at Senshi going for a body scissors. Senshi catches him, pulls him up and then out of nowhere Shelley comes over the top rope and hits Sabin with a leg drop sending him to the floor. Senshi then picks up Shelley and throws him in the ring and follows. Shelley is one his knees and Senshi hits to kicks to his chest, Senshi goes for another but Shelley ducks runs and springboards off the middle rope, turns in mid air, catches Senshi and hits a tornado ddt then a cover while Sabin is still laying at ringside. Winner: New X-Division Champion Alex Shelley @ 18:04 Overall Rating: C+ Backstage Simon Diamond has something to say, he said he is very upset about his loss to Ron Killings. He feels that Killings is nothing more than a joke and nothing but a joker and he doesn’t belong in wrestling at all. Diamond said whether tonight or another night, he will take The Truth out of wrestling. Overall Rating: D Simon Diamond vs. Ron “The Truth” Killings Diamond started off with a cheap poke to the eye, then kicked the knee of Killings. After stomping on the knee and jerking at it for several minutes Killlings was able to fight back and hit a splash on Diamond in the corner. Killings continued to hold onto the knee though and Diamond would attack it again, kicking it out from underneath Killings several times, then dropping elbows onto it. Killings would once again fight off the attack with several kicks and chops, but Diamond would go right back to the kneee. With both men on their feet again Killings went behind Diamond and both men went into the ropes, Diamond tried to hold on but Killings rolled him up and got a three count. Winner: Ron “The Truth” Killings Overall Rating: C+ After the match Killings was having his hand raised and Diamond came into the ring with a chair, he swung it but Killings ducked, kicked Diamond in the gut, picked up the chair and nailed Diamond with it which sent him through the ropes to the outside. Overall Rating: D A video package was then shown that went over the feuds between Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe, plus Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles. The tag match from four weeks ago on iMPACT was shows, as was the eight man tag last Thursday. Overall Rating: B Main Event I Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels vs. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles Daniels and Joe start the match off, trading shoulder block takedowns, then several arm bar reversals. Joe made the tag to Styles and AJ started wearing down Daniels with several knees to the back and stomps onto the kidneys. Daniels hit an uppercut and tried to make it to the corner but Styles pulled him back, picked him up and drops him down with a shoulder breaker. Daniels then drops a leg across the elbow of Daniels and tags in Joe. Samoa Joe continued this time where Styles left off, hitting splash in the corner then driving knees into the mid section of Daniels. Daniels hit a desperation running forearm, tried to get to Angle again but Joe pulled him back. Daniels tried a kick, Joe caught it and Daniels nailed him with an engazuri. Daniels then made it to the corner, Angle sprints in and runs over Joe with back to back clotheslines, then a overhead belly to belly. Stlyes comes in and Angle tosses him right over the top. Daniels follows Daniels to the outside and those two go back and forth on the outside for several minutes. Back in the ring Joe and Angle continue on, both hitting several suplexes on each other. As the match continues all four men were in the ring once again until the referee finally restored order. After several tags we now have Styles and Angle in the ring, Styles and Angle in the ring. Styles backed up Angle in the corner and hit a dropkick, Angle goes down and then Styles hits a running knee to the head of Angle. Joe comes back in and works on Angle until Angle gets the ankle lock on, Joe quickly escapes and both men make a tag. Daniels and Styles meet in the center of the ring and start exchanging shots, after Daniels goes down Angle hits a Angle Slam on Styles, Joe then grabs Angle and hits the muscle buster. Joe runs at Daniels and takes him down with an elbow, picks him up but then Angle grabs Joe throws him out of the ring. Daniels sends Stlyes into the ropes but Styles comes back with a spinning heel kick. Angle gets Styles from behind and goes for a german suplex but Styles flips right over and lands on his feet, htis Angle from behind and then hits the Styles Clash right in the center of the ring. Winners: Samoa Joe and AJ Styles @ 18:51 Overall Rating: A Next up was a video package for the second main event of the night, Sting and Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage and Abyss. Jarrett’s retrun was shown, as was the attack on him backstage and the attack on Sting that same night. Overall Rating: B Main Event II Sting and Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage and Abyss Sting and Cage start off the match with a tieup and Sting pushing Cage down right away and flexing. Cage then turned and tagged in Abyss, Sting and Abyss then tied up and this time Abyss threw Sting into a corner then hit him with rights and lefts to the body. Sting hit a head butt which sent Abyss back and Sting made the tag. Jarrett came into the ring with lots of cheers from the fans; he started taking Abyss’s knees out from underneath him and then attempted the Stroke but Abyss threw him down instead. Cage now in the ring with Jarrett, sends Jarrett in the ropes, picks him up and drops him with a samoan drop for a two count. Later on now Sting working on Cage in the center of the ring with a chinlock, Cage would escape and then apply a camel clutch. -12/19/06- Notes Coming Out Of Turning Point By Keith Anderson (Taken from pwinsider.com) The general thought that has been coming up after Turning Point is that the show fit the title very well. The show was in fact a turning point for the company as they slowly begin to finish up what the old management had started and start to take it into their own direction. One of the things that most people may not realize fits that description is Alex Shelley winning the X-Division title. TNA CEO and head writer Kevin Treyhill is said to be very happy with the work Shelley has been doing and as you can see it has got him the strap. Expect to see Shelley possibly have a high profile feud since winning the belt. One of two matches that most people are talking about last night is the Latino Deathmatch. I have heard some say they thought it was too spotty but what were they expecting? The match did a great job and showing the brutality that was possible and could either elevate the feud or put it off to the side for awhile. The other that many were happy with was Kurt Angle and Daniels going against Samoa Joe and AJ Styles. The match was very well and was the longest one on the card, all four men worked great together and expect to see more great matches as their singles feuds should carry on after the tag match. We also had the debut of new TNA talent on the show Paul Heyman as the manager of Bobby Roode. This shows that TNA does have serious plans for Roode, possibly with Lethal or something with someone else lined up. It also shows the new TNA management is not afraid of picking up someone that WWE has just dumped. Heading into iMPACT this week no matches have been announced however there is plenty to carry over from the PPV. Sting is the NWA Champion and a feud with someone is on the horizon and where will the Sting/Jeff Jarrett relationship go from here? Not to mention will we see either LAX or Team 3D and Alex Shelley will be there with his newly won X-Division title. Should be a good show.

(I don't know if anyone remember's this diary or not, hopefully there are a couple readers here still. Well I'm back, enjoy. :) ) -12/20/06- Preview & Notes For 12/20 iMPACT, Plus WWE/TNA Court News! By Keith Anderson (Taken from pwinsider.com) We're hearing more things coming out of Turning Point on Sunday and once again it's all good. CEO/head booker Kevin Treyhill has stated how happy he was with how the show went together and is excited for the aftermath on iMPACT. So far the matches that have been announced on TNA's site are as follows... Mike Awesome vs. Rhino Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage Also confirmed to be at the show are: Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Simon Diamond, Bobby Roode, Sting, Abyss, New X-Division Champion Alex Shelley and many more. One of the matches many people are still talking about from Turning Point was the Latino Deathmatch, nothing more than a no rope, barbed wire match surrounded by barbed wire tables. All four men involved are said to be doing just fine, however Hernandez will not be at iMPACT due to a bad cut down his arm that not only requried several stitches but has also got the medical staff worried about infection, therefore he will be out of action at least for a week. When asked about the match, CEO Kevin Treyhill said don't expect TNA to run matches like too often. Obviously it's very dangerous to the workers, however the fans loved it and loved how well all four men put on the match. As for the other most talked about match, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle and Christopher Daniels, also could be known as a dream match of sorts. PWInsider gave the match an "A" rating, so close to being perfect but not quite there. While the four man feud may be over for now, TNA fans have much more to look forward to since the Angle/Joe feud and the Daniels/Style feud still are carrying plenty of heat and won't be slowly down for at least another month. The other most talked about thing at Turning Point wasn't a match but the debut of Paul Heyman as the manager of Bobby Roode. This could signal some kind of stable lead by Heyman, but as of now he just looks to be doing the talking for Roode and we expect he will do a great job at it. HUGE court news coming from TNA today although you will not hear WWE mention it, TNA has secured the rights to use the name Dudley's for Brother Devon and Brother Ray, now will be known as Bubba Ray Dudley and Devon Dudley. The ligigation has been going on for months, yet behind closed doors. WWE didn't simply give up the rights, they did however sell them to TNA and for several months still WWE will profit from the use of the name. While not much, still something however TNA see's this as a victory. Not only did they put up a fight, they were able to get rights to the name. It's not known why WWE did sell, considering they could've asked so much that TNA couldn't afford it however it could be linked to WWE selling other rights recently due to no profit being made off of them. Make sure to check back soon for full results of the 2/20 edition TNA iMPACT!
