Marshall
This is my first set of cuts, and was wondering what people thought about them They're not brilliant, but ok for a first go don't you think? bobinc
They look good as far as streching or smooshing goes. But you need to work on your hair skills. I have found from experiance that some times it is better to remove some parts of hair then trying to keep it as it will help the overall quality of the pic and most people wont even know the hair was there to begin with. Also original pic quality is important. I know it is hard with some guys but that Eddie Colon on the end is pretty bad quality, but I do understand people who would rather have one then none. flamebrain
I agree with bobinc, go in closer than you would like to, especially in pics where the lighting creates a "halo" effect like the kelly and ashley pics, the lower detail makes for a smoother cut that doesn't stand out so sharply. After all, you don't have to get every wisp of hair. I also find the blur tool indispensible (sp?) if the cut ends up looking a bit odd, a little creativity can mask some of the awkward places to cut. Keep it up and you'll be knoocking them out like nobody's business! :)

Ignition
The hair is bad here. Zoom in to around 400% on the cut and use the erasor tool with a faded round brush to sort the edges out. Pretty good cut. the colours a bit off. Try going to adjust->auto contrast, and auto colour. Once again it's just the hair, view above. It's a bad quality picture, it's not really worth doing a cut if the picture quality is bad...try to find a better original picture :). But the cut looks fine itself.

Marshall
Cheers for the advice everybody - it's much appreciated. I knew the Ashley one was a bit rubbish but I originally thought the Kelly Kelly one was alright. Now I look closer, I see it needs more work. What would I know eh?:) Once again, cheers for the advice
