Dave Hansen
ARLIE- It's week #16 of the regular season. Checking out the recruiting screen I found there are 7 players ... OT/OG exclusively...ranked nationally between 34 and 83 that have NO STATS...line is just blank for these players. TOP offensive linemen in the nation with no stats...what does that mean...they had no PT for the year due to injury or grades? What would I expect to get if recruited to my team? I. J. Reilly
What stats are there for offensive linemen in high school?

I. J. Reilly
Hehe, me too. That was actually an honest question, I wasn't trying to be an ass. So I assume there really aren't any stats tracked for them?
Dave Hansen
I went back and checked and found that all OL have no stats on the recruit screen. I guess I would have assumed that like stats tracked in the game such as key run blocks, pancakes, sacks allowed, etc. would have been part of their recruiting stats. I be wrong. Arlie Rahn
Yeah, there's really no reliable source for high school OL stats.
Big Six
OL stats are tracked by a team's own coaches, and for that reason they're counted very differently depending on the staff. Some coaches award a "key block" to a lineman who remains standing upright as a back races past him for a decent gain. Others won't award one unless the O-lineman drives the defender into the next county.
