For example, I know the Big East isn't associated with Insight Bowl anymore. I was just hoping that one of you more technical types would have done this with bowl season imminent. If you search around these forums you can find some info on how to edit the bowl game bids yourself. its not too hard once you figure out how to edit things. Are you a Pitt Panthers fan (reference to your username)? If so, it sucks the football team lost 5 straight, but the basketball team is 9-0 and probably the best it has ever been. Yeah, we're pretty good right now in hoops, but as a Panther fan, I've learned to hold my breath...we tend to always make some major screwup along the line. I'm rooting for a Pitt/UCLA final too. SnDvls Posted December 12, 2006 Share Posted December 12, 2006 I did do one, it had to modified a little though as the Sun Bowl for example can take a Big 12 team or Big East team so I had to make a choice there and I eliminated any 7th or lower conference team from a bowl to just any eligible team as I saw too many 5-6 teams in a bowl game. cubsfan23 Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 Did anybody ever complete the bowl updates? I tried, but must have done something wrong (I kept getting crashes). I would think the company would update the bowl file, as every time I had a problem with crashes and RTE, they always suggested that it was a problem with the unofficial file. Did you try adding the championship game as a 5th BCS Bowl game? I tried doing that earlier with my own file, and it kept crashing. I really appreciate the work you did.
