Chriswok
My Maxtor ****ed up, so I sent them it and they gave me a replacement one, took about 2 weeks all together. HOWEVER, I've got a feeling that the replacement is on its way out, almost 1 year after it broke last time, so I'd avoid Maxtor in the future. Outlawjc
If it is a maxtor, no they will not. Legaly maxtor no longer exsit, Seagate has no obligation in the matter. I work for a company that does millions of dollars of business with both companies, after seagate bought maxtor there service is ****, and it is pulling teeth to even get them to look at damaged or corupted maxtor product even if was shipped that way. good luck!
