AAA: A New Era

Recommended Posts

I'm really enjoying your diary. I also think it's gutsy to start doing 4 shows a month. Running them all in the north west is probably not a bad idea, but branching off means you'll lose a bucket of money. In my first year, I had one show a month in the northwest. Second year, I had one show in the northwest and one show in the midwest each month. I'm losing money every month, but I have enough saved up to meet the owner's goal. Using the internet seems like a good idea... but keep in mind that you'll lose 3-6000 every month. Edit: Oh, and I've actually had Nene go a C- match.. against Agent69.. so I don't think she's totally worthless.

It was determined that contracts would be offered contracts based on performance. All three did very well in this "trial match." However, it was Ginko Kuroda and Eve Grunge that stood out the most to me. Nadia Snow has potential. HUGE Potential. Eve Grunge defeated Nadia Snow and Ginko Kuroda in 7:49 when Eve Grunge defeated Nadia Snow by pinfall. Joanne Rodriguez seemed more insulted than anyone and actually challenged me to a match even after I defeated her. Kristabel smiles. Kristabel Plum: To answer your question Joanne, I accept. Nothing would make me happier than to kick your ass once again. Although after this match, don't come crying to me for a rematch like the B*TCH you are! Decent match. Nothing to write home about. These two were just there as usual. Raven Nightfall wins this match in about 7 minutes. The attacker picks Kate up after knocking her down and repeatedly bashes Kate's head against the locker busting her wide open. As the camera pans out, we see that it Catherine Quine standing with Kate's blood splattered across her shirt. Emma Bitch runs away with Wanda not too far behind. Wanda Fish follows Emma into a dressing room and soon a loud noise is heard and all you see in Wanda Fish on the ground. As the camera looks up, Emma Bitch and Melody Cuthill are seen laughing before walking away. Suzue Katayama tried her best to bring out a solid match out of Nene but it just didn't seem feasible. Suzue dominated this match and pretty much squashed Nene with the Katayama Bomb ending the match in 9:04 Rating: D+ ----------------- In a pre-recorded segment, Cherry Bomb is shown. Cherry Bomb: *Patronizing tone* Hey Suzanne, how's it goin buddy? Ya doin alright? Cherry laughs. Cherry Bomb: Seriously. I heard you were kinda sore from our last match. So, I won't drag this out. Tonights match up is going to be a TABLES MATCH! Amazing chemistry, solid psychology and a GREAT story told. Suzanne was pretty beat up from her last encounter with Cherry and it showed. However, somehow, Suzanne managed to continue to fight back. In a nice sequence, Cherry Bomb set up the table in the middle of the ring. After failing to suplex Suzanne through the table, she irish whips Suzanne into the turnbuckle and went for a monkey flip which was countered when Suzanne managed to land on her feet. Cherry Bomb, angered, charged at Suzanne who was ready and connected with an Overhead belly to belly which put Cherry Bomb through a table and gave Suzanne her first win in this best of seven series at 16:15. Melody Cuthill and Emma Bitch worked pretty well together as one would expect from these two since they work together in NOTBPW. Wanda and Sara Marie looked a bit awkward together though. A passable match. Emma Bitch defeated Sara Marie York in 12:10 when Melody Cuthill held a fallen Sara Marie York's feet from the outside as Emma pinned her. Random News... Tuesday, Week 1, July 2007

Last month, for the second straight month, we lost over $18,000! Okay. So maybe running more than two shows a month doesn't equal more money. And perhaps trying to break into a new area too soon doesn't equal more success. At least I can say I tried. This month, i'm going back to the two show format. I learned in the past couple of months that trying to hot shot to the top isn't the way to go. Things like this take time. Lots of time. Quite possibly a couple of years. Something i'm willing to do.

We had our first "Gut Check" type deal last week and it was a huge success. I had been scouting Nadia Snow, Ginko Kuroda, and Eve Grunge for a while now.. I've decided to sign all three to contracts. Hopefully, these three will prove to be valuable signings.

Speaking of contract news.. I've also fired a couple of wrestlers as well. Nene Ebina, Stephanie Wade, Michelle Brendon, Nicole Kiss and Raven Nightfall were all released from their contract. They weren't doing much of anything anyway. I wish all of them the best of luck in their future endeavors. I told each that i'd reconsider them somewhere in the future.. and hoped there were no hard feelings. Nene Ebina instantly found work as she signed on to tour with 5SSW which can only mean good things for her.

Our attendance has been dropping as of late. We drew just over 1,000 in our home town. I'm getting a bit worried. I might have to shake some things up to bring some interest back into our product.

We're making pretty big strides in terms of actual popularity. I'm quite happy with what we've accomplished in 6 -7 months. I've made plenty of firings and signings.. don't be suprised to see some old faces back somewhere down the road. Everyone that i've released completely understood why they were being released. So i'm pretty happy.

I'm really enjoying the storylines that i've been running. The best of seven series between Cherry Bomb and Suzanne Brazzle is turning out to be one of my better decisions. Although i'm worried the fans might get burned out from so many matches between the two.

My goal right now is to have either a television deal or a contract with a Pay Per View carrier by the end of 2008. Not exactly anytime soon, but I believe it could be feasible. I hope.
