But WWE began to think OVW was slacking, as it had begun to bring in its own talents, and made titles WWE didn't want. Danny Davis, owner, felt insulted, and so announced he was cutting ties with WWE, as he felt he would be able to handle OVW without them. He began to look for staff to help him on his quest. And he quickly got a new referee in. Then the spotlight came on me. I had been helping to book Canadian and American independant shows for the past couple of years, enjoying doing so. To my surprise, this made me a well known guy in the business, and Danny Davis gave me a phone call. [B]Davis:[/B] "Hey kid, I heard you've got some experience as a booker under your belt." [B]Me:[/B] "Yes sir, a few yea.." [B]Davis:[/B] "Good to hear it, I'll get right to the point, I need a new head booker, and I wish for you to be it. I'll assess you after Saturday, your first show. Good luck, and I'll need to meet you tomorrow to show you what else we got. You'll find a car outside your house at 9am." [B]Me:[/B] "How'd you find where I lived?" [B]Davis:[/B] "I've got my sources, now get some sleep, you're gonna need it." And that was how it happened, too fast to be honest. I had to sit down and get to grips with what just happened. I had been a big fan of OVW for a long time, and so I was overjoyed that I was their new head booker, but...would I be able to do it? Time passed, and the car arrived at 9am on the dot, ready to take me to OVW headquarters. I met with Danny and Al Snow outside. Snow seemed disgruntled that I was the new booker, but he was his usual cheerful self. [B]Davis:[/B] "This is our active roster kid. Look it over." He handed me a clipboard and I flicked through it. [B]Me:[/B] "What happened to Punch & Buck?" [B]Davis:[/B] "We fired them, they weren't impressing us." I nodded, and looked over the rest of the roster. [b]Davis:[/b] "Come in, and we'll talk about your plans." All three of us entered the building, and we headed for his office. [b]Next:[/b] The Meeting, and The Roster[/CENTER]

And to be honest, I’m sick and tired of you two whining and facing each other, I make the rules around here, so you will follow them. And just as an added incentive, at the next big event, OVW Goes Wild, you will all be in a 3 on 2 handicap match, unless you two (High Dosage) can find a tag partner, then it will be 3 on 3. But as he ran Jacob grabbed his throat. Chet gasped for breath as he was lifted about 7ft in the air and dropped to the mat with a vicious chokeslam. Thankfully nobody tonight had bad chemistry with each other.[/center]

[B]Davis:[/B] "This makes it all the better. We're gonna let you stay as head booker. But we wish for you to try and not let us drop in popularity again, as we're trying to prove that we can live without WWE. [b]Dean:[/b] And we finally get to see Lewington in action after his OVW re-debut back in November. And an action packed main event once again Ken. [b]Bolin:[/b] Indeed Dean, Jacob Duncan taking on Paul Burchall, the most dangerous and the most dominant stars in OVW meet for the first time. [B][U]Match 1:[/b] Steve Lewington vs. Vic D. Vic crumples to the mat once again, spasming from time to time. • Steve begins to pump the crowd and they begin to clap. • He picks up Vic and whips him off the ropes. • He then leaps into the air and nails a beautiful Reverse spinning heel kick, which he calls the Sonic Boom. • This time he goes for the cover, and gets the 3 count.[/QUOTE] [b]Winner:[/b] Steve Lewington by pinfall [b]E[/b] Lewington then grabs a microphone from the ring announcer Timmy Baltimore. “I am back, and I am ready for a title match. I have been in this promotion for a year or so already, and everyone else has had some sort of title match. I want to face Seth Skyfire at OVW Goes Wild next Sunday.” He drops the mic as the fans give a decent pop. [b]Dean:[/b] What a challenge by Steve Lewington, and what a match. [b]Bolin:[/b] I agree Dean, this kid is talented. [b]Dean:[/b] Surely that title match, if accepted, will be one to watch. Evans rolled out of the ring as Driscoll & Rombola held their hands up to the happiness of the fans. [b]Dean:[/b] Revenge is sweet! Devon managed to get some pay back on Evans, and Rombola was nice enough to make the match a draw, how good of him. [b]Bolin:[/b] This is terrible, what did Charles do to deserve such a beating, nothing, that’s what I say. [b]E- for failed attack by Evans[/b] We got to a commercial break as Dean Hill shakes his head in pity. When we return Chet is in the ring holding a microphone. “Now, last week I got my revenge on Jacob Duncan for weeks of punishment, causing him to lose to some sort of Russian guy, Alexiv Knickersov or something, I dunno. Anyway, Duncan then took it upon himself to assault me again by driving me to the mat. So I am declaring a match at OVW Goes Wild next Sunday. Taking Shawn Osbourne out of the match, as he was out cold. • Chet capitalised with a tricky pinfall, but only got a 2 count. • He then laid into Shawn with several closed fists, before cinching in a single leg boston crab. • Osbourne reached the ropes however, and used the time to recuperate. • He was soon grabbed from behind and whipped of the ropes. • Chet then leapfrogged him, before nailing the Hit the Showever, a Jumping High kick, levelling Shawn Osbourne. • He then taunted the crowd, who were really behind him. • Osbourne was thrown something by fellow Bad Kompany member Milena Roucka from ringside, some brass knuckles. • Osbourne put them on and caught Chet off guard and levelled him. • However the ref saw the brass knuckles and disqualified him, as both Shawn and Milena went nuts, and the crowd were cheering as well.[/QUOTE] [b]Winner:[/b] Chet the Jett by DQ [b]D+ [/b] [b]Dean:[/b] Osbourne finally gets caught! Then you got and team with some Canadian in Shawn Spears, and steal, note steal, our titles away from us. But then we got our revenge, after you both stupidly believed that Cherry here, my girlfriend and Domino’s sister, would have left us for you chumps. It was then that we became 3-time tag team champions. I’m a second generation wrestler, son of Jimmy Snuka. Runnels recovered and picked up Deuce, as he had a score to settle. He put him in a bearhug, and Shawn bounced off the ropes, came back, and as Cody released Deuce, he nailed a flying kick, sending Deuce flying to the mat, soon rolling out as well. The crowd was hopping at this point as Cody raised his arms. [b]Cody Runnels:[/b] “So Deuce, you think it’s funny to make jokes about my father? I think I remember my father being much more popular, and WAY more talented than yours. And my dad’s still got it. He falls right out the back of the door, quickly followed by Kruel and Osbourne who hightail it out of there, followed by Milena, supporting a knocked out Kraven. I really like the idea of an OVW diary, am especially glad you haven't gone and signed typical indy talent yet, Drew Galloway is a nice addition. The only little thing and its fairly little is the fact you managed to keep big-ish name wrestlers that are on WWE contracts (like Burchill & Beth Pheonix, also alot of decent prospects), something which I doubt they'd just let happen/allow you do in an ultra realistic sense, but don't suppose an OVW diary would be as interesting if you lost them straight away so can understand why, but maybe some sort of reason to how/why you managed to get them could have glossed over that, I dunno i'm waffling, predictions; Boris Alexiev vs. [COLOR="gold"]Steve Lewington[/COLOR] [I]- He's English.[/I] [COLOR="gold"]High Dosage[/COLOR] vs. The Throw-Backs [I]- Not a fan of greesy things.[/I] Jack Bull vs. [COLOR="gold"]Drew Galloway[/COLOR] [I]- He's British, us English will claim he is one of our own to increase odds of having someone successful.[/I] [COLOR="gold"]Chet the Jett & Paul Burchall[/COLOR] vs. Jacob Duncan & Shawn Osbourne [I]- Burchall is OVW's most dangerous man, can't lose ever, oh and is English.[/I]
