Preview for NOTBPW Championship Wrestling NOTBPW will be in the PNE Agrodome in Vancouver, British Columbia for Championship Wrestling on Wednesday February 28th. This edition of the show will mark the begining of the annual Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup, with the 4 1st Round match-ups all set to take place, but that's not all..... NOTBPW International Title Match: Sean McFly vs Johnny Bloodstone After forcing Sean McFly to submit to the Bloodstone Mutilation in last weeks main event tag match....Johnny Bloodstone has been rewarded with a one on one title shot. Bloodstone has been bragging for months that feels that he is the best in NOTBPW and is destined to be champion but until he beats current champion Sean McFly, his destiny will not be fulfilled. Bloodstone made a big psychological step last week by beating McFly in a tag team match, thing is can he beat McFly one one one, with the Championship on the line ? Family Challenge: Dan Stone Jr vs Edd Stone Edd Stone looks like he has been trying to do out do Johnny Bloodstone on who has the biggest ego in NOTBPW.Since turning on not only his former tag team partner and brother Duane, he has also turned on the rest of his family and believes he will become a bigger star than all of them combined. Edd's actions have now drawn the ire of former Champion Dan Stone Jr, who issued the self-centred black sheep of the Stone Family a challenge to face him in the ring on this weeks show. Will DSJ teach Edd a lesson, or will Edd find a way to heap further embarrassment on his family ? Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup 1st Round The Match Up's for the 1st Round will be:- Team Avalanche (Koyama & Ishibashi) vs SUKI & Shingen Miyazaki Honest Days Pay (Morgan & Flash) vs Dark Cloud (Black Eagle & Lucifer Mysteron) CAN-AM Blondes (The Natural & Owen Love) vs Stevie Grayson & Jacob Jett Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez vs The Kelowna Playaz __________________________________________________________________________________________________ O.O.C: Predictions as always be welcome, both for next weeks match-ups and for the eventual winners of the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup. Their efforts won over the fans towards the end but this is the second time I've brought in WLW talent and it's not gone over all that well. On a positive note the All Japanese home team of SUKI & Shingwen Miyazaki are looking like a highly effective unit and SUKI earned the win with the Mountain SUKI (Shiranaui) on Koki Ishibashi. The brother who brags about becoming a bigger star than the rest of his brothers and the father who brought him up and brought him into this business, the brother who's barely made a blip on this business, yet already thinks he is bigger than it. I know you're listening to this somewhere, massaging your ego...yeah Edd I'm talking about you, and tonight I take that ego down a peg or two. I thought things were irritating enough with Bloodstone walking around here with his over-sized ego, the difference between Bloodstone and you though Edd, is that as up himself as Bloodstone is, he's earnt his right to be an arrogant prick more than you ! Flash & Morgan are gelling well as a team , whilst the Black Cloudpair of Black Eagle & Lucifer Mysteron (Insane Heat) were teaming together for the first time and at times it did show, but I'm sure once they smooth things out they will become another effective unit in a tag division that looks to be rebuilding in the right direction. The finish came when Karen Killer tried to interfere and took a swipe with what looked like a Kendo Stick towards Steve Flash however Flash ducked out of the way and the Kendo Stick shot took out Lucifer Mysteron.. Morgan and Flash then finished off Mysteron with the Copright (Leg-sweep/Super-kick combo) to advance to the next round. They certainly belong more than some of the less technically adept parts of the male roster. Thing is I think that they have it in them to do better but the main problem right now is that the two best women in my division are both faces and neither one of them is that great at being a heel. I did briefly put the title on Stephanie Hazel but then realised she wasn't really ready for it, so that's why she dropped it back to Cuthill straight away. I think if I had a second T.V show I could afford to expand the Womens Division, but right now the promotion is not really getting in the income (due to a poor economy) to take on another T.V show so for now the Womens Division, remains as a side-show attraction. Rant aside the match itself saw Melody Cuthill retained her title after reversing a Stone-Plex attempt from Victoria Stone and then hitting the Melody Maker (Twist of Fate) Result: Melody Cuthill defeated Victoria Stone in 8:34 by pinfall Melody Cuthill retains the Womens Title Rating: C- _______________________________________________________________ Backstage again where Harrison Hash has just burst into Matt Bray's office. Calm Down It's Only a Title Request Harrison Hash: I want him now , I want them , I want another shot ? Matt Bray: Hash calm down , who or what exactly are you going on about Harrison Hash: I want another crack at Dark Angel and I want the X-Division title back around my waist, and Dark Angel can bring along his pathetic chronies all I likes, because they may be able to kick me down, but I'll keep getting back up and coming back, until I take back what was mine because they can't take anymore away from me, no matter how hard they try Matt Bray: OK, OK...you're ranting and I really can't stand having to hear some hard done by moaning and groaning. So here's how it's going to go down, next week you get one more shot at the X-Division title but after that you're in the same boat as everyone else and you'll have no more right to a title shot than anyone else, no matter how Dark Angel gets the win. This was a relatively short, fast paced match, that as expected the tag champions were in control of most of the way. The highlight of the match though did come from Jacob Jett who hit a corkscrew moonsault to the outside onto both of the Blondes, but despite the flashy moves the inexperienced tandem of Grayson & Jett proved to be no match for the Blondes, who got the win in just under 8 minutes with their highly effective double team finisher the CAN-AM Xpressway (Double slingshot suplex) Result: The CAN-AM Blondes defeated Stevie Grayso \ Jacob Jett in 7:54 when The Natural defeated Stevie Grayson by pinfall Rating: C _______________________________________________________________ We go backstage again where Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez are getting ready for their up-coming match in the Ed Henson tag team cup, when Dan Stone Jr enters the locker-room When I was Your Age Dan Stone Jr: Hey Jeremy good luck tonight Jeremy Stone : And what about this kid here ? Frankie Perez: I don't need your brothers blessing ! Jeremy Stone : Look Frankie, he's only wishing us luck Dan Stone Jr: Perez right...you remind me of me at your age...that competive fire, that drove me to become a champion, that ability not to want to back down from anyone, that stubborness...all traits that help you become a champion. But I've also learnt that you need allies in this business, you need to know who are your friends and who are your enemies. Our family have embraced you to become the former..we like you kid that's why Jeremy has taken you on as a protege. Jeremy Stone: Well less say, protege and more junior partner. Because it's not like Frankie ain't ready to compete with the big boys. (Talking to Perez now) Frankie...you're still a kid, but you're one heck of a kid who can go far in this business. All of a sudden Edd Stone arrives on the scene Edd Stone: Oh look have we here a Stone Family meeting...oh I see you've found a replacement brother already Dan Stone Jr: Shut up Edd, no one wants to listen to you...no one ever did and anyway Frankie here will become twice the wrestler you'll ever be Edd Stone: Ha !...that kid, he's done jack squat in this promotion, except lose to that fat-ass baldie who's not won a title for years. Lets think since then I've been All Action or whatever they wish to call it these days champion....oh yeah I was the first of that one...I won the Young Lions Trophy...I mean I dominated that so much...it got discontinued and then I won the Ed Henson Tag Cup last year....with a handicap, because I had to carry that deadweight brother Duane. Dan Stone Jr: You carried Duane ? Anyway I'll meet you in the ring later and hopefully I will have beaten some sense into that delushional ego of yours ! The Playaz may have got a long overdue win last week, but they've been milling around the bottom end of the roster for a while now. On the other hand Perez and Stone have just formed a team, with Jeremy Stone becoming Perez's mentor of sorts and building up the young star as the future, so it was pretty obvious from the start who was going through to the next round. It was to be the rising star Perez who would get the win with a Perfect Parity (Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker). Stone Jr started the match out hotter, taking Edd literally to wrestling school for the first 5 minutes , he even hit the Stone-Plex for a very close 2 count only for Edd to get his feet on the ropes. However Edd did turn it around in his favour, when he got in in a sneaky thumb to the eyes out of the vision of referee Clarence Garcia. It was then Edd who was in control, but as ever the arrogant Edd got over-confident and went for the Party's Over too soon...he hit it but there was no one there. Both men struggled back up to there feet and after a few exchanges with DSJ getting the advantage, the former International Champion managed to lock in the Stone-Hold (Sharpshooter) onto his brother....Edd tried to get to the ropes but in the end the pain was too much and he was forced to tap out. They did say that with last weeks pin on the champion Bloodstone goes into this match with more confidence than ever that he will be walking out with the title. Match # 7: The Main Event: International Title: Sean McFly vs Johnny Bloodstone vs As title matches go this one of the lesser efforts and was not up to the standard of the classic's on display last month. The match was still good but it felt like a T.V title defence that perhaps went 5 minutes a little too long, rather than McFly and Bloodstone putting it all on the line. With them putting there all into every match, its perhaps understandable that they are saving themselves for the PPV this time. There was lots of feeling out and exchanges where no one got the advantage in the first half of the match , but it did pick up in the second half and McFly got a two count with the Way of the Future, whilst Bloodstone had McFly in the Bloodstone Mutilation twice , but the champion managed to find his way to the ropes both times. The finish came when Bloodstone who was beginning to gain the upperhand went for the Vein Buster, but McFly managed to free himself, and then hit the Delorean Driver, which left Bloodstone stunned long enough to be looking up at the lights for a three count. Result: Sean McFly defeated Johnny Bloodstone in 18:57 by pinfall with a Delorean Driver. Sean McFly retains the International Title Rating: B Afterwards McFly celebrates another succesful title defence, whilst Bloodstone looks on seething with frustration that once again he can't beat McFly when it truly matters. (B-) Overall: B The Show was a step back in the right direction. The first round of the Ed Henson cup matches were not that great but it did involve alot of teams who are not over with the fans, I do have faith in the cup though rising in quality next week. The title match was slightly disappointing when you compare it to the MOTYC's of last month but it was still good enough to main event the show. Dan Stone Jr vs Edd Stone was a well executed match that got the crowd fired up for the main event after some of the more mediocre matches that were on earlier but rightfully did not over-shadow the title match.

NOTBPW News After Sean McFly's succesful title defence over Johnny Bloodstone, there has now been much speculation over the past few days over who wouldn face the International Champion at the Ed Henson Classic. There were rumours that NOTBPW were looking to bring in someone from PGHW to face McFly but it appears the critically acclaimed Canadian promotion, have failed to come to an agreement. The latest news on the title situation is that there will be a contenders match at the beginning of the PPV and that McFly will face the winner of that match in the main event. It's also been confirmed that Edd & Duane Stone will face each other one on one at the Ed Henson classic. Edd won the first singles meeting between the two, since Edd turned on his brother and the rest of the Stone Family.

The increasingly arrogant Edd Stone will be teaming up with fellow egomaniac Johnny Bloodstone, who will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after coming up short in challenging for Sean McFly's International Title Last Week. Ed Henson Memorial Cup Semi-Finals: Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez vs SUKI & Shingen Miyazaki The CAN-AM Blondes vs Honest Day's Pay The Ed Henson Memorial Cup continues as the remaining four teams battle it out to make the final of the tournament. X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Harrison Hash Harrison Hash managed to get himself one more crack at the X-Division title he lost to Dark Angel two months ago. This is Hash's last opportunity, and the odds don't look good for him as Dark Angel will have the backing of the Dark Cloud stable, that has been making Hash's life a misery as of late. ______________________________________________________________ Confirmed Matches for Ed Henson Classic International Title: Sean McFly vs Winner of 4-way contenders Match Ed Henson Memorial Cup Final: The two winning semi finalists face off in the final. Ed Henson Memorial Cup Bronze Medal Play-off: The two losing semi finalists will face off against each other. Grudge Match: Edd Stone vs Duane Stone

O.O.C: This one's not dead, I've just got to set aside some time to write up a few shows. Have had other distractions such as watching the latest batch of ROH videos that I ordered. Plan is to have the Championship wrestling up by tommorow and the next PPV up before the weekend.* * Some people may interpretate this as a blatant bump, to make sure that this diary is not forgotten about, those people would probably be right ;)

This was a solid match with HDP starting out hot and forcing the Blondes to go for an early powder to re-group, the Blondes turned it round and Morgan did a good job of selling the heel beat-down before tagging into Steve-Flash. Several near falls followed for both teams, including the Natural going for a pin when he was not the legal man and referee Clarence Garcia rightly calling it off. The finish came when Steve Flash crashed and burned after going high-risk with a flying body press to the out-side and the CAN-AM Blondes took advantage of the 2 on 1 on Morgan, finishing off Flash's partner with the CAN-AM Xpressway (Double-team sling-shot suplex) Result: The Can-Am Blondes defeated Honest Days Pay in 11:41 when Owen Love defeated Thomas Morgan by pinfall. Tommy London says that Harrison Hash has alot of heart, but may have to hope that some kind of back up comes to fend off Dark Angel's Black Cloud stable-mates involving themselves but wondered where that help would come from as Hash carries himself as something of a loner. Match # 4: X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Harrison Hash vs This match was the sleeper hit of the night , I suppose the feud has built up enough that these two can put a good match on against each other. Black Cloud did get involved but not enough to ruin the match. Hash came out all fired up and got 2 quick pin attempts in on Dark Angel, which put the champion of his game during the early going of the match, however things turned around when Karen Killer distracted referee Clarence Garcia...Black Eagle came into the ring and attempted to attack Harrison Hash. But Hash took out Eagle with the Image-Breaker..however Eagle had managed to slide a metal spike to Dark Angel, who busted open Hash with the foreign object, before discarding the bloody weapon. Dark Angel was now in control and had several near falls, but Hash kept hanging on in there and got a second wind and continued to fight back. Dark Angel tried to make Hash tap out with the Wings of Damnation but Hash fought through the pain and rolled up Dark-Angel for two. Despite Hash's never say die attitude ..referee Clarence Garcia was once again distracted by Karen Killer (everyone knows wrestling referees have the shortest attention span of any paid professional) and as Harrison Hash was about to nail Dark Angel with the image breaker, he was taken out by a vicious clothesline from Lucifer Mysteron. As referee Garcia turned around Dark Angel had an already dazed Harrison Hash double under-hooked for the Descent into Hell and the champion planted the plucky challenger face first into the canvas. Result: Dark Angel defeated Harrison Hash in 12:48 by pinfall with a Descent Into Hell. Sean McFly: I still don't like it, who-ever will face me will have momentum and I could be rusty Matthew Bray: Worried someone could take your title Sean ?, I mean I thought you were the great champion Sean McFly not someone who's scared by a challenge Sean McFly: I'm not scared of any challenge...that's right whoever faces me at the Ed Henson Classic I'll still be walking out the champion. They put over that alot has been made of how the Stone Family appear to have adopted Perez as a replacement brother for Edd Stone, but they said that SUKI & Shingen have looked dangerous as a team and could easily de-rail the plans Jeremy Stone have for his teacher and student project he has going with Perez. Match # 5: Ed Henson Cup Semi Final: Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez vs SAS (SUKI & Shingen Miyazaki) & vs & Tommy London noticed early on that SUKI & Miyazaki now had matching trunks with the letters SAS on them and that it appears that the two Japanese imports will be teaming up full time. The match started out fairly slow but with alot of intensity as each member of each team had several stiff exchanges with one another before the match quickened up in pace...when Perez was the first one to take more of a risk and hit an elbow drop off the top turnbuckle to Miyazaki on the outside, after that there was several near-falls with both teams coming close to picking up the victory several times. One particular highlight spot in the match was when SUKI went for the Mountain SUKI (Shiranaui) on Jeremy Stone but the veteran countered it into a Stone Cutter that almost got his team the win. The all Japanese pair SAS went closest, when they nailed Frankie Perez with a leg lariat from SUKI off the top rope that was followed up by a shining wizard from Miyazaki . The finish came when Perez had the P-Clutch looked onto Shingen Miyazaki, SUKI tried to break up the pin but Jeremy Stone counter-acted SUKI's inteference with a lariat that sent SUKI out of the ring and Perez was able to lock in the P-Clutch even tighter and Shingen had no other option but to tap. Result: Jeremy Stone \ Frankie Perez defeated SUKI \ Shingen Miyaz in 13:37 when Frankie Perez defeated Shingen Miyazaki by submission. Rating: B Jeremy Stone grabs a mic Project Vision " Welcome everyone to Project Vision....what is Project Vision you may ask...it's me and this future champion right here ...Frankie Perez. Edd Stone(Not sounding all that convincing) : Yeah that's right, you see we both can't stand those 2 fools, those two losers...I unfortunately had to grow up with, well I no longer have to be in their shadow. Johnny Bloodstone: Stick with me kid and we can take down those smug Stones Edd Stone: Who you calling Kid ? Johnny Bloodstone: Let's face it you've not really proven yourself in this business, but hey I like your new attitude, anyone who hates the Stones is fine by me, especially when it's one of their own ! Edd Stone: I'll let it be known to you Bloodstone , that I will be a bigger star than you or the Stones or anyone...it's about time I started getting some respect !! Rating: C- ______________________________________________________________ It's back with the two Tommys at the announce desk. Tommy London says that surely the advantage has to be with the Stones, who have the experience of tagging with one another over the years and that is looks like Edd & Johnny won't be able to co-exist with one another. However Townsend as ever was confident that the heels would win out, because they are as he puts it superior to the over-rated Stones. Early on it did look like Edd & Bloodstone would not be able to work together and at one point were arguing with one another on the outside, where their argument was broken up by Duane Stone doing a flying body press onto them. However that hasty move proved to be a mistake from Duane , as Bloodstone rammed him into the barriers to turn the advantage into his teams favour. The usual heel beat-down section ensued and there were several near tags from Duane before he finally got the all important hot-tag into his brother Dan Jr, who let out all his frustrations by drop-kicking Bloodstone out of the ring and then nailing Edd with a series of suplexes, ending with a delayed vertical that he let hang for about 30 seconds, that earned a near-fall for two, he then tagged in Duane who went up top but a revived Bloodstone shook the ropes, crotching Duane. Bloodstone then nailed Dan Jr with the Vein Buster, but Duane regained his footing and broke it up the pin with an elbow drop. The match then completely broke-down as they all took the fight to the floor on the outside brawling with one another. Dan Jr and Johnny Bloodstone bring it back in the ring and Dan Stone Jr gets Bloodstone into the Stone-Hold (sharpshooter), Bloodstone is struggling but Edd breaks it up with a running knee. Duane then nails Edd with a Stone-Plex, but Edd is too near the ropes and breaks up the pin by getting his foot on the ropes. Dan Jr and Bloodstone are back up, Bloodstone throws some dust in Dan Jr's face and with his opponent blinded nails him with another vein buster. Dan Jr avoided getting pinned by rolling to the outside. Duane entered the match up and took down Bloodstone with a drop-kick, however Edd takes out Duane with a spring-board lariat. Dan Stone Jr is still out of sorts on the outside, trying to shake off the effects of the dust in the eyes and the Vein-Buster. It's all for the Stones as Bloodstone and Edd Stone some-how do manage to work together, Bloodstone plants Duane with a German Suplex and Edd Stone finishes Duane off with the Party's Over, Dan Stone Jr comes back in the ring but is too late to break up the winning pin. Result: Johnny Bloodstone and Edd Stone defeated Dan Stone Jr and Duane Stone in 15:37 when Edd Stone defeated Duane Stone by pinfall Rating: B Dan Stone Jr, now recovered then gets in Johnny Bloodstone's face and it all ends up leading to a post match brawl between the two title contenders, Edd and Duane then join in, before security manage to pull the four of them apart (C) Hype videos play for the final of the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup between the CAN-AM Blondes and the newly named Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) and the 4-way contenders match between Dan Stone Jr, Johnny Bloodstone, Tim Westybrook and R.K Hayes (C) Overall: B This was a solid all round show, with 4 solid matches in the 2 Ed Henson semi-finals, a solid T.V main event and a surprisingly good X-Division title match between Dark Angel and Harrison Hash.

Dude, I know that feeling. You've just spent like a half hour or more coding and writing up a show, and you post it and wait and you can see the hit count going up but no one is saying anything and you post another one and another one and you start to wonder if anyone is even paying attention. I think that's why most dynasties go under - the author feels like people ain't reading. But I think people are reading. I mean, I'm reading this one and I'm sure there are a lot like me who skim but don't always (or even frequently) comment. And I almost never do predictions, but here's what I'm thinkin, since you asked... McFly ain't gonna lose, I'm thinkin, even though there's a mystery billing... unless you have some stellar person to debut, there's just no reason to put a loss on his resume - so either someone new comes in, or he wins. Dan Stone Jr in the second match - he's been getting the most air of all those guys, and he's a plotline character - either he wins or there's a crucial interference (Eddy) to cost him the match. But clearly, it's him or Bloodstone. RK Hayes ain't that good and Westy is too green. I got the Blondes to retain, Dark Angel to beat the one dimensional spot monkey Jacob Jett, Melody Cuthill to upset Vicky Stone, and SAS to beat Honest Day's Work, which just ain't a tag team that screams "push", you know? They've got incredible fundamentals, but that's as far as they go. So yeah, thems my picks. Don't get discouraged by the lack of comments. That just happens - no idea why.

I know how you feel too, to be honest it's why my diaries die out. That and I play to far ahead in my game, to the point I'm not interested in writing about the old stuff I did. Sean McFly vs ???? I'm personally of the opinion that if the contender isn't known before the event begins, then the champion will retain. 4-Way Contenders Match: Johnny Bloodstone vs Dan Stone Jr vs R.K Hayes vs Tim Westybrook Think Johnny could use some more pushing, as he has potential to be the heel of the company and puts on great matches. Then again. Westy has the stamina to do two matches. Ed Henson Cup Final: The CAN-AM Blondes (The Natural & Owen Love) vs Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) I like the idea of Jeremy taking Frankie under his wing. Never been a fan of Owen Love. Duane Stone vs Edd Stone Need another big heel in the company. X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Jacob Jett Women's Title: Melody Cuthill vs Victoria Stone Ed Henson 'Bronze Medal' Match: SAS (SUKI & Shingen Miyazaki) vs Honest Day's Pay (Thomas Morgan & Steve Flash) * Harrison Hash vs Lucifer Mysteron
So yeah, thems my picks. Don't get discouraged by the lack of comments. That just happens - no idea why.
Because there are a ton of lurkers on these boards, writers themselves who, not to name anyone, will consistantly view a particular diary yet never leave a comment, yay or nay. And then it's really mindnumbing when I see a diary get low star ratings and I'm unable to find one reply that's negative or explaining what they don't like about the diary.

Black Eagle won the match with the New Jersey Turnpike (Overdrive) Result: Black Eagle defeated Stevie Grayson in 8:51 by pinfall Rating: D+ ____________________________________________________ PPV The show starts with a hype video plays, mentioning the 5 wrestlers (Sean McFly, Dan Stone Jr, Johnny Bloodstone, Tim Westybrook, R.K Hayes) that could walk out champion by the end of the PPV (C+) We join the two Tommy's at the announce booth where they are hyping the 4 Way Contenders Match they put over Dan Stone Jr as having the experience edge, Johnny Bloodstone as having the most desire/desperation to win the title, R.K Hayes as being the toughest and meanest man in NOTBPW and it being an opportunity for Tim Westybrook to prove that he is ready to go toe to toe with the big guns of NOTBPW. Match # 1: 4-Way Contenders Elimination : Dan Stone Jr vs Johnny Bloodstone vs R.K Hayes vs Tim Westybrook vs I always like to put matches that matter and that will get the crowd hyped up for the rest of the show at the beginning of a PPV, rather than tell a bunch of lower end workers to go out and work the crowd but utlimately deflate them with a mediocre match. And though obviously the winner had to save themselves for later and the competitors in this match didn't quite go all out, this match still pretty much delivered. The eliminations happened in this order: * Tim Westybrook was the first to go when Johnny Bloodstone locked on the Bloodstone Mutilation at 12:41 and he was forced to tap out * Dan Stone Jr showed he could make someone tap out too when he wriggled free of a Homicide Bomb attempt from R.K Hayes and then took R.K Hayes down and got the big man all twisted up with the Stone Hold (Sharpshooter)..Hayes tried to tough it out for nearly a minute as he tried to use his size to edge to the ropes but Dan Stone Jr held firm and Hayes was forced to tap out at 15:35 * It was down to Bloodstone and Stone Jr and both tried to go for quick pin-falls at the beginning, then Bloodstone tried to lock in Bloodstone Mutilation but Stone Jr quickly got to the ropes, then Stone Jr tried to get Bloodstone into the Stone-Hold but like Stone Jr, Bloodstone made his way to the ropes, then both tried to nail one another with their pin-fall finishing moves the Stone-Plex and Vein-Buster but again both opponent had it scouted. In the end the winning pin-fall came the way of Bloodstone who reversed a Stone-Plex attempt of Dan Stone Jr into a Stone-Plex of his own and earn the victory and the right to face Sean McFly for the title at 19:42 Result: Johnny Bloodstone defeated Dan Stone Jr, R.K. It's not a matter of if it will happen, it's a matter of when that Johnny Bloodstone will become champion and that when is tonight " (B-) ____________________________________________________________ Back with the two Tommy's who hype the match between Harrison Hash and Black Cloud member Lucifer Mysteron. They put over the fact that Mysteron cost Harrison Hash a chance of regaining the X-Division title and that Hash will be looking for revenge. Match # 2: Harrison Hash vs Lucifer Mysteron vs Mysteron was accompanied to the ring by Karen Killer and they looked like a good pairing. This was an Ok match for a six minute filler. Hash is proving himself to be dependable mid-carder, he lacks that X-Factor to be given the chance to really run with a belt but he is reliable and with a half decent opponent can normally put on a solid match. As one could have most likely expected this match was decided by Black Cloud interference, once again Karen Killer distracted the referee only for Black Eagle to come in and plant Harrison Hash's face into the canvas with a DDT. When the referee turned around Lucifer Mysteron had Hash in position for the Hell-Riser (Razor's Edge). Result: Lucifer Mysteron defeated Harrison Hash in 6:13 by pinfall. Rating: C- After the match Black Cloud decide to add insult to injury by trying to choke out Hash with a leather strap, seeing the assault Mighty Cavanagh comes running to the ring, and he clothes-line Lucifer Mysteron and gives Black Eagle a big boot to send them scurrying away and doing further damage to Harrison Hash (E-) ______________________________________________________ Back with the Two Tommy's who hype the tag team match between SAS and Honest Day's Pay, they put over the match as being a second chance as such for both teams and the winners will earn a title shot for the tag belts on the edition of Championship Wrestling in 2 weeks time. Match # 3: SAS (SUKI & Shingen Miyzaki) vs Honest Days Pay (Thomas Morgan & Steve Flash) & vs & Where as the Hash vs Mysteron match I did not have much hope for , I was expecting better from this match up as both teams had been on a roll of late, with SAS really looking like an effective unit (they were originally only going to be one shot deal for this tournament, but they've teamed up so well, I decided to make them more permanent, hence the team name). But for some intangible reason the two teams failed to gel with one another in the ring and this match failed to ge to the level these four competitors are capable of. SAS got the win and the title shot when Steve Flash was nailed with the Leg Lariat (SUKI), Shining Wizard (Shingen) combo that almost got SAS into the Ed Henson Memorial Cup Final. Tommy London informed us that the combo is called Target Locked. Result: SAS defeated Honest Days Pay in 9:39 when Shingen Miyazaki defeated Steve Flash by pinfall Rating: C- _______________________________________________________ Katie Cameron is backstage with Project Vision Heading For the Top Katie Cameron: I am here with Jeremy Stone and Frankie Perez, who are now referring to themselves as Project Vision and tonight they are in the final of the Ed Henson Memorial tag Team Cup. Jeremy Stone: CAN-AM Blondes I'll make this short and simple for you to understand, you many have be the top dogs in the tag division right now but we are going to take away your top spot, first of all we'll beat you for the Ed Henson Cup and then should you make it past the SAS in 2 weeks time with your tag belts intact, will then be handing you another defeat all over again for those tag belts you carry next month. Frankie Perez: I came here to win titles and all you doing Love, Natural is just delaying the inenvitable, because with the support of Jeremy Stone I will be going to the top of this company. Rating: C- ____________________________________________________________ The two Tommy's hype the womens title match, well Tommy London trys to put over Cuthill and Stone as talented athletes who are a credit to womens wrestling, but Townsend being the jack-ass as always refers them to as eye-candy and light relief fighting over a plastic belt. The sad thing is, is that a proportion of the audience would be in agreement with Townsend's comments. Match # 4: Womens Title: Melody Cuthill vs Victoria Stone vs To the relief of Townsend this one didn't last long but it was evenful, Cuthill & Stone went at each other with full force as Cuthill was determined to keep her belt, whilst the Victoria Stone who had come so close on many occasions was desperate to win it. However the stiff exchanges (by womens standards) were broken up when Emma Bitch and the increasingly crazy Helen Wheels came out and attacked the pair, leaving referee Clarence Garcia with no choice but to call for the bell and rule the match a no contest. Result: Victoria Stone drew with Melody Cuthill in 3:42 when the referee lost control and stopped the match. Melody Cuthill retains the NOTBPW Womens title. Rating: C+ OOC Note : I don't mind matches getting surprisngly good ratings, but how the hell did this warrant getting a C+ ?! It was a 4 minute womens match with a screw-job finish. Whilst SAS vs Honest Day's Pay...only got a C-. Seriously somethings not right there ! ______________________________________________________________ A video hyping the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup final between The CAN-AM Blondes and Projecty Vision play, it shows us highlights of how the two teams got to the final (C) Back with the two Tommy's at the announce desk, who give us their view on the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup . They remind us that the match will be fought under 30 Minute Iron Man rules, with the team who has the most pin-falls or submission winning the match , should it go to over-time the first fall wins the match. Tommy London said that it should be a closely fought contest, he put over he fact that though he did not always like the Blondes attitude he respected them as a tag team, but he said that Project Vision just seem to have that momentum behind them right now and that he fancies them to go all the way. Townsend as ever had to take a snipe at one of the Stones and he said that Project Wishy-Washy as he decided to call it did not stand a chance. Match # 5: Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup Final (30 Minute Iron Man Rules): CAN-AM Blondes (The Natural & Owen Love vs Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) & vs & This was a solid final for the Ed Henson Cup, though maybe having the match go 30 minutes was a slight mistake in the end as the first half of the match was a bit slow , as the two teams wrestled each other like they did not want to make a mistakeand give up the first pin-fall. The first pin-fall came at 18.03 when The Natural rolled up Frankie Perez, causing Project Vision to be playing catch up. After that the match really started to pick -up as Project Vision took the fight to the CAN-AM Blondes who were trying to hang on to their victory. Project Vision managed to tie it up at 26.33 when Frankie Perez got the pin-fall on The Natural after the Perfect Parity (Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker) whilst Jeremy Stone kept Owen Love from interfering with a Stone-Hold. It looked liked Love was going to tap immediately after as well but he managed to get himself to the ropes and break up the painful submission hold. The third fall saw the Blondes literally trying to hang on to take the match into over-time and have a chance to regain their composure as there would be a short break between the end of regulation and over-time but Project Vision would not let up. At the end Jeremy Stone sent the Natural out of the ring with a big lariat and Frankie Perez went flying off the top turnbucke with a flying body press to make sure that the Natural would not be coming back into the ring. Jeremy Stone then got Owen Love into the Stone-Hold, Owen Love tried to hang on and make it to the ropes but ended up having to tap out at 29.55. Result: Project Vision defeated The Can-Am Blondes in 30:00 by two falls to one. But as they say familiarity breeds contempt, we have faced each other on numerous occasions before and when it comes to it, I have beaten you every time it matters Bloodstone. But I wont be taking you lightly, I know if I make just one mistake you have all the tools to beat me for this title, but I do not make mistakes and I will he walking out still the NOTBPW International Champion. Rating: C+ ______________________________________________________ We then see Edd Stone with a microphone of his own and it looks like he wants to deliver a rant towards his brother Duane Your In My Spotlight " Tonight Duane it's over between us, you see I'm not just going to beat you tonight I'm going to put you out of this business for good, no longer will you be stealing Edd Stone's spot-light. Oh no,no, no my brother and it wont end there you will be the first one, because the Stone's have had their day except one...that one is Edd Stone." (D+) _____________________________________________________________ Back with the Two Tommy's at the announce desk who hype the X-Division title match between Dark Angel and Jacob Jett. They put this match over as being the biggest of Jett's career so far and that if he gets the upset win, it would catapult Jett's career to new heights. Match # 6: X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Jacob Jett vs Don't ask how Jacob Jett even warranted gettng a title shot, but the fact is there wasn't many available options left to face Dark Angel. Duane and Edd are feuding with one another in a blood feud, Harrison Hash has been given various chances to win back the belt and it was time to see someone else challenge for the title, whilst other possible contenders were competing in tag team action, then there is Black Eagle but I'm hardly going to go down the heel vs heel route, especially when they are stable-mates. The original plan was to bring in someone (probably Emerald Angel) from WLW but I failed to take into account that WLW don't tour in March, meaning that no one was available on a one shot deal, this is still an idea I may use in the future though. Despite Jett's lack of credentials as a title contender, the match was still pretty good, displaying the sort of fast paced action the X-Division should be making it's name with, the main thing here is that Dark Angel managed to really sell Jacob-Jetts flashy offence as being really effective against him and the youngster looked in control for most of the match, constantly keeping the veteran off balance. However the wily veteran did find a way to hold on to the X-Division title when he forced the youngster to tap out to the Wings of Damnation (Anaconda Vice). Tommy London praised the performance of Jacob Jett and he said that this exciting youngster pushed someone of Dark Angels class harder than the Champion might have been expecting. Result: Dark Angel defeated Jacob Jett in 9:27 by submission. Dark Angel retains the NOTBPW X-Division title. Rating: B- Dark Angel celebrates his title victory with Karen Killer by his side by doing his usual pretentious crucifix pose (B-) ____________________________________________________________ A hype video is played going over the growing brother vs brother feud between Edd and Duane Stone (D+) Back with the two Tommy's at the announce booth who add further hype to the Edd vs Duane match. Tommy London said that he will look forward to Duane teaching Edd a valuable lesson in humility. Townsend said that Duane Stone will be the one getting taught a lesson, he said that he has really started to notice Edd's potential greatness, since he ditched those losers who Edd unfortunately has to call his family behind. Match # 7: Brother vs Brother : Edd Stone vs Duane Stone vs There's nothing like a bit of full bloodied hatred between two competitors to really raise the level of a match, especially between two who are so familiar with each other. These two went at each other hammer and tongs and suprisingly for a pair of wrestlers more noted for their high-flying or technical wrestling ability (in Duane's case also) the first 5 minutes of this match was pure brawling, as they went blow for blow in and outside of the ring. Duane Stone was the first one to get a near-fall nailing Edd with a Stone-Plex but Edd kicked out. Edd then earned a series of near-falls with several roll up attempts, including one attempt where he tried to sneak in a sly pin with his feet on the ropes. The finish came when Edd planted Duane with a Tornado DDT and then went up top for the Partys-Over...he managed to fly off the top rope before Duane could get up but Duane got his knee's up winding Edd and then Duane took advantage with another Stone-Plex , which this time was enough to keep Edd down for a full three count. Result: Duane Stone defeated Edd Stone in 12:54 by pinfall Rating: A After the match Duane is celebrating and Edd rolls out of the ring holding the back of his neck (selling the effects of the Stone-Plex). Edd gets a sledge-hammer from under-neath the ring Apron and when Duane turns around to celebrate with the fans on the other side of the Arena he is nailed right in the face with the slege-hammer.Edd continues to beat down on Duane, leaving Duane a battered and bloody mess. Tommy London said Duane may have won the match, but he said that Edd may well have lived up to his promise he made earlier of putting Duane out of business for good, he said the actions and attitude of Edd Stone become even more despicably with every passing second and that he is a disgrace to the Stone family, he said that Edd does not deserve to be recognised as a Stone anymore!! (Strong words from an emotional Tommy London) Rating: D + _____________________________________________________________ Seeing as we had no idea who was challenging McFly for the title, there is no usual hype vid, instead we just stay with the two Tommy's who hype up the main eventbetween the aforementioned McFly and the man who earnt the right to face off for the title Johnny Bloodstone. They put over that McFly has the advantage of being well rested but they did say that Bloodstone already has though wrestling juices flowing tonight and that he is on a wave of momentum coming in to the title match. Match # 8: International Title: Sean McFly vs Johnny Bloodstone vs When it comes to PPV main events, no other promotion seems to be delivering quite like NOTBPW is at the moment. This was yet another MOTYC.As with the previous A* matches I will present the report with the key action points from this great match up * McFly started the match at his pace , taking the fight right to Bloodstone...forcing the challenger to go for a Powder but McFly wouldn't let up and took the fight right to Bloodstone on the outside, however that was a mistake as Bloodstone rammed McFly into the ring-post with an Irish whip. * They bring the fight back into the ring, where McFly has a slight cut, Bloodstone brings the match down to his more methodical pace and he takes every opportunity to try and make McFly's cut even worse. He attempt to lock on Bloodstone Mutilation but McFly gets to the ropes. * McFly fires up but Bloodstone brings him back down again with a German Suplex and Bloodstone goes for the pin, however it is only for a one count as McFly suddenly seems to have got a second wind and looks determined to hold onto his title blood loss or not. * McFly is back into control and he earns a two count with the Way of the Future (Springboard inverted DDT) * He then goes for the Vein-Buster (Bloodstones own finisher) but Bloodstone has it scouted and slingshots McFly into the turnbuckle witha sling-shot suplex. * Bloodstone send McFly out of the ring with a vicious lariat and then sends McFly crashing to the ramp with a dive through the ropes ! ( The this is awesome chants are really starting up now !) * Bloodstone trys to bring McFly back into the ring but McFly plants him with a DDT. McFly with a split-legged moonsault onto Bloodstone ! (Tommy London praises referee Matthew White for being lenient with the count, as we want to see a winner and not have this match decided on a count-out !) * They exchange chops on the out-side, both men try to irish-whip each other into the barrier, McFly finally gets the advtantage hurtling Bloodstone back first into the metal ! * McFly drags Bloodstone over to the announce table , he tells London and Townsend to clear away from the announce desk. McFly and Bloodstone are on top of the announce desk and pulls out the monitors. McFly trys to lift Bloodstone up a power-bomb...Bloodstone blocks, Bloodstone then trys to double under-hook McFly's arms for the Vein-Busterm McFly blocks...chop exchange (wooooo !!!) on the table . McFly with a DDT !! both men go crashing through the announce table (Holy S**t ! chants ) * Referee Matthew White now feels like he has no choice but to enforce the twenty county, both now bloody and feeling the worse for wear just about manage to beat the count * Both men are slugging it out, Bloodstone trys for the Delorean Driver on McFly...McFly blocks and hits a Delorean of his own....surely it's all over 1-2, No ! Bloodstone used his ring prescence to get his feet on the ropes * Bloodstone trys to lock in Bloodstone mutilation, McFly reverse into a Bloodstone Mutilation of his own but once again Bloodstone gets to the ropes * Bloodstone does get Bloodstone Mutilation locked in this time but McFly gets to the ropes himself * McFly with an Uranage back-breaker on to Bloodstone, he goes up to the top rope, it looks like he is going for the 450, Bloodstone back up to his feet, they slug it out on the top rope...McFly shoves him off, Bloodstone gets right back up again and brings McFly crashing into the ring with a belly to back suplex. * Both men struggle back up to their feet and both try to earn quick pin-falls with roll ups...McFly is setting Bloodstone up for the Delorean Driver but Bloodstone has it scouted avoids it and brings McFly down to the mat....where he locks in Bloodstone Mutilation again !! * Bloodstone has Bloodstone Mutilation locked in right in the middle of the ring, McFly is desparate not to to tap, he is determined not to lose the title, he doesn't tap....but....he passes out !! Bloodstone is the NEW Interntional champion (The fans chant, that was awesome, NOTBPW !! and give both competitors a standing ovation) Result: Johnny Bloodstone defeated Sean McFly in 20:49 by submission. Johnny Bloodstone wins the NOTBPW International title. Rating: A* Bloodstone celebrates winning the title, falling to his knees and hugging and kissing the belt ! (B-) Overall Rating: B+ : Once again another quality PPV from NOTBPW with yet another MOTYC in the main event, but the buy-rates are going down. Why then if the product is so great are people losing interest. Simple answer right now the reason the buy-rate is going down is that the economy in Canada right now is in the toilet and people just aren't prepared to part with their dollars right now, but hopefully the die-hards who are sticking with our great promotion will manage to convince their friends to part with the cash. One possibility would be to bring down the prices of the PPV, to get more people to order the PPV's, but would that really make enough difference to make more money ? Also the booking in setting up this PPV was done some-what on the fly and perhaps I should look at trying to have the big matches set up for the PPV booked more ahead of time.

Johnny Bloodstone:They were, but now they can't any longer as I'm the champion and I'll be calling the shots from now on Sean McFly: Bloodstone have a nice time being champion...should you make it past Stone Jr, Westybrook or Hayes next week, you'll have me waiting in line for a title shot, because I want a re-match ! Miyazaki managed to lock the Fatigue Device (Dragon Sleeper) onto Flash on two occasions, but both times the long haired veteran managed to make it to the ropes. The finish came when it looked like Miyazaki was getting the upper hand but Flash managed to pull out the Flash-Bang and the shock of that move was enough to keep Miyazaki down for three. Cuthill and Stone were showing their superiority throughout most of the match, but a ref bump and a pair of knucks to the head of Cuthill from Emma Bitch won the match for the up-starts. They say that Dark Angel has looked unstoppable a X-Division champion especially with the support of the sadistic Black Cloud stable, but Tommy London did say that he will face perhaps his strongest test yet from Frankie Perez, who is someone most definately on the rise after his Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup win with Jeremy Stone. Tommy Townsend dismissed Perez's chances of winning, as he associates himself with the Stones and claimed the cup win was a fluke. Match # 4: X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Frankie Perez vs This was an OK match, but Perez looked a little off his timing , and this could be that he was still recovering from the gruelling 30 minute Iron Man Tag Team match, he had to win the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup. It certainly wasn't at the frenetic pace the Dark Angel, Jacob Jett match was at on Saturday, and was a more grounded technical affair, with the best segment of the match seeing both men trying to lock on their signature submissions but both being countered into the other submission but never being locked on fully enough to fully start wearing down either man. The finish came when Frankie Perez had Dark Angel down after a Yakuza Kick in the corner. He then decided to go up top and was looking to nail Dark Angel with an elbow drop but Edd Stone came from out back and shoved Frankie off the top turnbuckle (some-how the referee was conveniently distracted by Karen Killer), Dark Angel then took advantage of the now out of sorts Perez, planting the challenger face first into the canvas with the Descent Into Hell. Result: Dark Angel defeated Frankie Perez in 12:46 by pinfall. Dark Angel retains NOTBPW X-Division title. Rating: C+ The usual pretentious crucifix pose celebration followed from Dark Angel with Karen Killer by his side as always (B-) ______________________________________________________ We get a video promo of Duane Stone healing up at home and he has some strong words for his little brother Can't Rest " Edd those sledgehammer shots you gave me on Saturday, may have brought me down but I will be back and I am working over-time to get myself back quicker than expected. The Doctors are telling me to rest up, to let the injuries you inflicted on me fully heal, but one thing I can't do is rest, when all I can think of is how to make you pay. On Saturday I won the match, I pinned your shoulders for the three count but you had the last word, I was the one left the bloody mess. With those blows you took to me, any respect I had left for you as a brother had gone. Many people want to see you and your over-sized ego eliminated from this business and I want to be the one to do it ! " Rating: D+ _______________________________________________________ The camera cuts backstage and Frankie Perez is seething after his loss, we hear him mutter 'Edd you're going to pay, where are you, you coward !' and then he goes off in pursuit of NOTBPW's most popular wrestler (E+) O.O.C Note Part 1: I've come to the conclusion if a non match segment does not involve someone the stature of Dan Stone Jr or Sean McFly the rating will more than likely suck. In the total scheme of things, I don't think the lame ratings for non match segments really hurt the show all that much, as the matches tend to deliver , it will only hurt the show if I have too many non match segments. ____________________________________________________________ Match # 5: SUKI vs Owen Love vs This match was a good example that two guys can just go out there and put on a good match, with no real history between them (though SUKI will challenge with Miyazaki for the tag titles that Owen Love and The Natural are currently holding) . SUKI is growing into a solid mid-carder who will deliver on most notes, whilst Owen Love is equally as home in singles contests as he is in tag team action when teaming with The Natural as the CAN-AM Blondes. This was a well executed technical match up, with SUKI adding a bit of hard hitting puro style into the mix. SUKI won the match with the Mountain SUKI (Shiranaui) in what many people would see as being a slight upset. Result: SUKI defeated Owen Love in 9:53 by pinfall. Rating: B O.O.C Note Part 2: This match is a good case in point, if I put these two in a non match segment the rating would seriously blow, it would anyway with SUKI as he can't speak a jot of English, but it would still blow if say The Natural was cutting a promo for the match, but here they put on a B rated match for a match with no real heat between the two. _____________________________________________________________ We go backstage where resident interviewer Katie Cameron (the job is her's now since Helen Wheels is now deemed unfit for the job with her recent crazy behaviour)is with Jeremy Stone Preview or Review- Same Results Katie Cameron: At the Ed Henson Classic you and your partner Frankie Perez won the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup beating the CAN-AM Blondes, now you have a chance to beat one of the Blondes in a singles match. Jeremy Stone: Frankie may have come a little short tonight in his X-Division title match, because of that disgrace of a so called family member. I can't even bring myself to say the egomaniac's name. But Project Vision won't be going 0-2 tonight . You see Natural the result will be the same as Saturday, whether it be tag, singles or whatever else.....Project Vision has the Blondes number, and should your team be lucky enough to make it through the challenge from SAS next week, will be taking those titles off you at Retribution. ______________________________________________________________ We join the two Tommy's at the announce desk who add more hype to the Jeremy Stone , Natural match basically just telling us the same thing in what Jeremy Stone told us in his promo. Of course when it's coming from Tommy 'Irrational Hatred of the Stones' Townsend's mouth anything a Stone accomplished (excluding Edd who he now loves) is a fluke or fixed. Match # 6: Jeremy Stone vs The Natural vs This match had a very old school feel to it, with a slow-ish pace and plenty of mat wrestling. It might not have been fully the cup of tea of the younger fans in the audience, but the tradionalists would have been pleased seeing two guys go back to putting on a proper wrestling match. The Natural tried to go hold for hold with Jeremy Stone, and he even turned the advantage in his favour with a few under-handed tactics but in the end Jeremy Stone showed why he is such a skilled ring general and The Natural was forced to tap out to the Stone Hold, completing a bad night for the tag team champions. Result: Jeremy Stone defeated The Natural in 13:25 by submission Rating: B _______________________________________________________________ We rejoin the Two Tommys who hype the 3-way contenders match between Dan Stone Jr, Tim Westybrook & R.K Hayes, they remind us that the winner will get a title shot next week. Westybrook and Hayes have had a solid feud going between them and when you add someone the calibre of Dan Stone Jr into the mix, the match will always have that chance of going to the next level and manage it, it did. As is now becoming a signature feature of this diary matches with an A * rating, will be broken down with the key action plot-points. Only A* matches will get this much detail written about them. * Westybrook and Dan Stone Jr begin the match by deciding to work together and double team on R.K Hayes, Hayes soon has enough and goes outside * Dan Stone Jr then goes for a quick roll up on Westybrook, Westybrook's not impressed by that and begins to brawl with Stone Jr and because of his size advantage, starts to get the upper-hand. * R.K Hayes comes back into the ring and takes out Westybrook with a Lariat from behind. He then attempts the Homicide Bomb on Dan Stone Jr but DSJ counters with a DDT ....all 3 men are down * All 3 are back up and Westybrook and Stone Jr trade blows, meanwhile Hayes goes outside the ring and picks up a chair, referee matthew White trys to take it away from him but he ends up tripping over himself and going face first into a turnbuckle * Hayes levels Westybrook with a chair-shot, he then attempts to do the same to Stone Jr, but is met by a drop-kick and ends up with the chair hitting him in the face. * Stone Jr charges Hayes but is back body dropped out of the ring, and takes a hard bump * Hayes goes after Stone Jr and Piledrives him on the entrance ramp, Stone Jr looks out of it ! * Hayes goes back into the ring and turns his attention to Westybrook, lefts and rights to Westybrook, this looks like Hayes match * Hayes goes for a big Lariat on Westybrook.....Westybrook some-how digs down deeps and counters with a Belly to Belly suplex * Both men are down, Westybrook goes for the cover but it's such a weak cover he can only manage a one count * Both men trade blows again.....double collision in the ring as both went for Lariats.... * Stone Jr has recovered he decides to go up to the top turnbuckle, elbow drop onto Hayes 1-2- No ! Broken up by Westybrook * Westybrook trys to get Dan Stone Jr up for the TNT Whirlwind (F-5) but is taken out by a spear from Hayes (This is awesome chants !) * Hayes and Stone Jr trade blows, Hayes gets the advantage and is about to go for the Homicide Bomb, Enziguri from Stone Jr ! * Stone Jr gets Hayes locked into the Stone -Hold, but it's broken up by Westybrook who send Stone Jr crashing out of the ring , in doing so he takes a really sick looking bump (Holy S*** ! chants) * Westybrook and Hayes again trade lefts and rights , Hayes goes for the Drive-By Lariat (Spinning Lariat) but is blocked and is nailed by an exploder Suplex 1-2- No ! * Hayes is back up but he looks out of sorts, Westybrook try to get him up for a Power- Bomb he can't quite do it, he trys again he can this time.....1-2- (Stone Jr is getting back into the ring) 3 ! Westybrook wins the match The fans give all 3 men a generous round of applause and that was awesome chants. Result: Tim Westybrook defeated R.K. Hayes and Dan Stone Jr in 14:46 when Tim Westybrook defeated R.K. When Hayes gets up though he pulls some brass-knucks out of his trunks and attacks Westybrook from behind, he continues to beat Westybrook in the head with the knucks, but Stone Jr intervenes to stop him from doing further damage. Hayes and Stone Jr then brawl with one another until security comes out and pulls them apart Ratings: C for Westybrooks celebration, C+ for Hayes attack, B- for Brawl between Stone Jr and Hayes Overall: B: This is the first post PPV edition of Championship wrestling that has been top draw, and that is mostly down to a surpisingly good main event. It was a different sort of MOTYC to the others, where as the others were a mixture of technical prowess and memorable spots, this was a great example that you can get a good match out of what was pretty much a hard hitting slug-fest of a brawl between Hayes and Westybrook. That being said Stone Jr added to the quality of the match, and you would have unlikely have seen the spot where Stone Jr had Hayes in the Stone-Hold, but was sent crashing out of the ring by a big lariat from Westybrook, Stone Jr really sold the Lariat as being something you would not get up from in a hurry and that is not something you would have seen from say if you put just another brawler into the mix or a flashy cruiserweight with no grasp of ring psychology.

Hey man, I just read this today (I usually stay away from the NOTBPW diaries as they all seem to have Jeremy Stone/Sean McFly constantly, and then fizzle out shortly after) But this is amazing, really loved reading up on it. And I'm a huge Johnny Bloodstone mark, I didn't think you 'd have him take down McFly but you did, and thats awesome. And, you can't ever go wrong with Plague (Black Eagle) Props.

Preview for NOTBPW Championship Wrestling NOTBPW will be at the Queens Park Arena in New Westminster, British Columbia...here is what will be on the show: International Title Match : Johnny Bloodstone vs Tim Westybrook Johnny Bloodstone makes his first defence of the International Title since defeating Sean McFly for it at the Ed Henson Classic. Tim Westybrook got the biggest win of his career, pinning R.K Hayes in a triple threat match also involving Dan Stone Jr, earning this title shot in the process. Can he go one better and win the title off Bloodstone ? Tag Team Title Match: The CAN-AM Blondes (The Natural & Owen Love) vs SAS (SUKI & Shingen Miyazaki) The CAN-AM Blondes put their tag team titles on the line against the all Japanese duo of SUKI & Shingen Miyazak. SAS earned this title shot by winning a second chance contenders match against fellow Ed Henson Cup semi-Finalists Honest Days Pay (Thomas Morgan & Steve Flash). The winners of this contest, will go on to defend the Tag Titles agains the Ed Henson Cup Winners Project Vision (Jeremy Stone & Frankie Perez) at Redemption. Dan Stone Jr vs R.K Hayes Last week R.K Hayes attacked Tim Westybrook in a rage of jealously after losing the 3-way contenders match. Dan Stone Jr intervened preventing Hayes from doing further damage to Westybrook. Frankie Perez vs Edd Stone Perez wants revenge on Edd Stone, after Edd cost him the chance of winning the X-Division title. It appears that Edd not only has a vendetta with his family but also anyone who associates with them. Plus Duane Stone and Sean McFly will also be in action.

Match # 2: Dan Stone Jr vs R.K Hayes vs All technical wrestling went out of the window with this one, as this was basically just one ugly brawl, obviously these two have produced much better matches against each other in the past, though they were never Stone Jr vs McFly technical classics. But this match just felt like a feud building match, with it being pretty much all brawling and nothing else...this was confirmed with the shocking finish........ Art Reed who had not been in NOTBPW since February 2004 jumped over the Guard-Rail picked up a chair and levelled Dan Stone Jr with a chair-shot to the head, that left referee Clarence Garcia with no choice but to call for the bell and reward Stone Jr, the victory via a DQ. As per usual that did not go down too well with the NOTBPW fans who always like to see clean finishes. Result: Dan Stone Jr defeated R.K. Hayes in 9:31 when R.K. Hayes was disqualified when Art Reed ran in and attacked Dan Stone Jr. Rating: C- After the match Reed and Hayes continue to put the boots to Dan Stone Jr...Hayes goes outside to set up a table, where Reed puts Stone Jr through it with a Suplex ! (D+) Notes: Apparently that last segment was a bit too 'risky' and it unsettled the crowd. A Suplex through a table, risky ? !...What kind of crowd is this ? , a bunch of 12 year olds, watching USPW with Mom and Pops. ______________________________________________________________ We are backstage once again with Katie Cameron , this time she has International Title challenger Tim Westybrook with her Stating The Obvious Katie Cameron: Last week you beat 2 other men to earn a title shot, now can you Tim Westybrook go on to win the title Tim Westybrook: Obviously I'm going to say yes I can, but everyone in my position would say that, I mean who woul say no they are not. Thing is I truly believe I can win the title, it will be tough but I'm here to make sure that Johnny Bloodstone's title reign will be a short one. Bloodstone may of said it is his time, but he's had his time...now it's my time. Rating: D _____________________________________________________________ We return to the scene of the decimation of Dan Stone Jr from R.K Hayes with the aid from the shocking return of Art Reed . We see Dan Stone Jr being carried onto a stretcher and into an ambulance by the EMT's. Tommy London said what Hayes and Reed did was despicable and it has no place in NOTBPW ! (B) _____________________________________________________________ We are back at the announce desk with the two Tommy's, with Tommy London still condemning what we just saw with Stone Jr having to be stretchered out, eventually he did turn his focus to the next match the Tag Team Title match between The CAN-AM Blondes and SAS. Match # 3: Tag Titles: CAN-AM Blondes (The Natural & Owen Love) vs SAS (SUKi & Shingen Miyazaki) & vs & It's interesting to note that is technically a heel vs heel match, but SAS were the default faces here and really more tweeners than full on heels. This was a solid fast paced tag match, that was just lacking that something extra to go to the next level, namely that lack of a true face-heel dynamic. It's intangibles like that can take a good match to being a great one. Both teams had several near-falls but in the end the Blondes made a succesful title defence pinning SUKI after delivering their trademark double-team manouevre the CAN-AM Xpressway. Result: The Can-Am Blondes defeated SAS in 12:50 when Owen Love defeated SUKI by pinfall. The Can-Am Blondes retain the NOTBPW Tag Team titles. Rating: B- The CAN-AM Blondes stay in the ring to milk the fact that they are still the tag champs (D+) ______________________________________________________ Back with the two Tommy's again who hype the Frankie Perez vs Edd Stone match, London says Perez will be looking for revenge against Edd Stone, who interfered in his X-Division title match last week with Dark Angel. Townsend went off on one of his deluded anti- Stone rants again, this one being about Edd Stone being someone who has seen the light and Perez being a slave to the Stones and that Edd would beat some sense into Perez. Match # 4: Frankie Perez vs Edd Stone vs This was another match that showed off the all action style that NOTBPW is becoming noted for, the only thing that let it down is the lack of selling from both these young stars, something that both will need to improve on if they want to cement themselves in the upper tier of NOTBPW. Perez started the match off hot catching Edd off guard with his arsenal of stiff kicks and strikes but Edd found a way to turn it round in his favour with a rake of the face, and Edd went close with a Moonsault but made a mistake when he went for a ****y arrogant pin, where he just laid across Perez with his back without hooking his leg...this just seemed to fire Perez up instead who kicked out at one, Perez then slapped on the P-Clutch and Edd just managed to get to the rope to break it up. Edd then dumped Perez with a Dragon-Suplex, and then decided to go up to the top rope...however once again he showed his arrogance taking too long to set up for the Party's Over, this enabled Perez to get up and dump Edd Stone into the ring with a Falcon Arrow. Perez locked in the P-Clutch once more and with the ropes no-where in sight, Edd tapped out. Result: Frankie Perez defeated Edd Stone in 9:32 by submission Rating: B- After the match Edd Stone attempts to do his bad loser act as per usual, attempting to attack Perez after the bell but Jeremy Stone is there to make the save and chases Edd off. (D-) Jeremy Stone stays in the ring with Frankie Perez and he has a microphone " Well done on your win tonight Blondes, enjoy it and enjoy those belts whilst you have them. Because the vision of me and Frankie here will be realised, because in 19 days time at Redemption Project Vision will be taking those titles away from you. " (C) _______________________________________________________________ It's certainly a busy night for backstage interviewer Katie Cameron, who this time is trying to get a few words from the International Champion Johnny Bloodstone. Rusty Tin Katie Cameron: I'm with the Champion Johnny Bloodstone, who tonight puts his title on the for the line, for the first time against Tim Westybrook. Johnny Bloodstone: Look here blondie, let me take over from here...I am Johnny Bloodstone, I am the International Champion and I am the greatest NOTBPW has ever seen and ever will see.....the Iron Man as he calls himself, will be shown exactly why he is no-where near being in Johnny Bloodstone's class. In fact I'll take him to wrestling school, in fact I predict that it will be such a one sided destruction, I'll be making Westybrook look like what he really is the rusty tin man. Just as Bloodstone is ending his rant, suddenly Helen Wheels and Emma Bitch appear attacking interviewer Katie Cameron from behind, they then kick her down and hurl some verbal abuse at her. Ratings: Bloodstone title match rant (C), Bitch & Wheels 'bully-girls' attack (F+) ______________________________________________________________ Match # 5: Duane Stone vs Black Eagle Tommy London mentions that Duane Stone insisted that he wrestled tonight, despite the doctors not telling him that he is at a 100 %. Despite sporting a bandage wrapped around his head, Duane Stone did show he was ready to wrestle, starting out all fired up and really taking the match to Black Eagle. At one point he reeled off a series of four german suplexes that left Black Eagle gasping that earned a two count. However Black Eagle did find a way back into the match when Karen Killer distracted referee Clarence Garcia , Black Eagle took advantage by crotching Duane with a low blow...he then took the match outside the ring and flapjacked Duane into the steel ring steps, this saw Duane's cut on his head re-open. Black Eagle seeing the blood then targeted the cut and tried every dirty trick in the book to try and get it to open up further, however Duane showed what that Stone trait of digging down deep, sticking it out and fighting back. Several times Black Eagle tried to finish off Duane with the New Jersey Turnpike, but Duane had just enough left in him each time to fight it off, eventually Black Eagle got frustrated and left himself open for a Stone-Plex....Duane nailed him with the Stone-Plex and then locked on the Alabaster Agony (Octpus Hold)..Eagle tried to get to the ropes but Duane kept pulling him back in and eventually he was forced to tap out. Result: Duane Stone defeated Black Eagle in 11:51 by submission Rating: B Matt Bray came out onto the podium and had a mic Into the miX Matt Bray: Duane it's obvious to me you're perfectly Ok to wrestle, so next week you'll be back in action again and no it won't be against Edd. Duane Stone: I want Edd, I want my revenge on that little bastard Matt Bray: If you want me to add Edd to the mix I can Duane Stone: What mix is that ? Matt Bray: You'll like this one Duane, next week because of your impressive win here on top of beating your brother Edd at the Henson Classic. I'm giving you a title shot.....for the X-Division title...next week it will be you vs Dark Angel. Duane Stone: What did you mean by you could add that idiot brother of mine Edd to the mix Matt Bray: Is it not obvious, I could make the X-Division title match next week a three way, that way you get the opportunity at winning some gold and having a chance of revenge against Edd...it's up to you Duane Duane Stone: Tell you what, just make the match between me and Dark Angel....because that imbecile does not deserve a title shot, of any kind. I'll have plenty of time to get my revenge on Edd, after I once again become a champion in this company. Rating: D _____________________________________________________________ A hype video for the Johnny Bloodstone vs Tim Westybrook International Title match plays, it shows both of their recent big moments....Bloodstone winning the title at the Ed Henson Classic and Westybrook winning the contenders 3-way last week. We join the Two Tommy's at the announce table, who add further hype to the International Title Match. Tommy London put it over as a match between two men, who have emerged as genuine main event level talent in NOTBPW over the past year, rising from the mid-card into being a perennial contender and now champion in Bloodstones case, and someone who can be considered for being a title challenger in the case of Westybrook. London noted that before last week Westybrook had not quit got up to that level of being able to prove himself against NOTBPW's main eventers but last week's big win over Hayes and Stone Jr, confirmed that he is now ready to step up. Match # 6: International Title: Johnny Bloodstone vs Tim Westybrook vs This title match started off fairly slow but picked up towards the end. Westybrook took the fight to Bloodstone right away and had the champion rocking , however Bloodstone did manage to re-group and eventually found a way back into the match and eventually managed to take control using a mix of his superior mat wrestling skills to wear down the big man, whilst at the same time constantly pushing the legal boundaries (grabbing the ropes whilst locking on an abdmoninal stretch to Westybrook, using the full five count before the referee can disqualify him)..Eventually these wearing down tactics led to Bloodstone trying his first attempt at Bloodstone Mutilation but at 6 ft 5 in height Westybrook used his long legs to reach the ropes. Getting a little frustrated Bloodstone decided to go high risk looking for a knee drop off the top rope but Westybrook, managed to get up off his back, caught Bloodstone and using his superior power threw Bloodstone over-head. The momentum once again swung back in the favour of Westybrook who nailed Bloodstone with a series of suplexes, ending the series with a hanging suplex, that had Bloodstone dangling in the air for almost a minute, that earned a two count, with Westybrook still in control...he tried for a Power-Bomb but Bloodstone blocked and went down to his Knees, Bloodstone followed up by clipping Westybrooks knee taking the big man down.....Bloodstone once again looked to synch in Bloodstone Mutilation but Westybrook had it scouted and reversed it into a Boston Crab. Bloodstone was pretty close to tapping out but managed to dig down deep enough to get to the ropes....Westybrook seeing that Bloodstone was down got Bloodstone up onto his shoulders for the TNT Whirlwind , but Bloodstone just managed to wriggle free, he tried again but Bloodstone once more got free,. with the aid of a poke in the eye of Westybrook from being flung face first into the canvas. They then traded blows, until a drop toe hold from Bloodstone proved to be the beginning of the end for Westybrook. The simple manouevere sent the big man crashing to the canvas, and from there Bloodstone managed to lock in Bloodstone Mutilation, this time he had perfect position and this time Westybrook had no choice but to tap out. Result: Johnny Bloodstone defeated Tim Westybrook in 19:41 by submission. Johnny Bloodstone retains the NOTBPW International title. Rating: B+ Bloodstone celebrates his title victory, this is mostly greeted by Boos from the fans but a few Bloodstone marks chant his name (B-) Sean McFly comes out to the entrance ramp, makes a belt across his waist gesture and he engages in a stare-down with Bloodstone, just as they are about to charge at one another and start fighting before their scheduled title match at Redemption, security come out and keep them apart (B-) Overall: B This was another solid edition of Championship wrestling, there's not really alot to say about this show, except it was solid from top to bottom and hopefully Art Reed should be a solid addition to the roster, he has all the tools to be able to succeed with NOTBPW for a second time.

Tommy London mentions that Dallas McWade has already left NOTBPW (due to contract expiry) but that Dean is still with the company but needs a win to regain momentum. He goes on to say that if Dean can pull off an upset win overm the former champion McFly , then perhaps he can secure his future with NOTBPW. Match # 4: Sean McFly vs Dean McWade vs McWade caught McFly off guard at the start of the match and the burly brawler was in control for the first half of the match, however McFly showed why has been a champion every where he's wrestled. He dug down deep and mixed it up himself , showing that when he needs to he can brawl with the best of them, eventually McFly started to use his superior speed, conditioning and technique to his advantage. The finish saw Sean McFly show great strength by putting McWade flat on his back with a Delorean Driver (Blue Thunder Power Bomb) after he managed to avoid a big lariat from McWade. Nothing amazingly inventive here, they just put on a regular showing of the sort of fast paced technical wrestling NOTBPW is becoming noted for. Jeremy Stone got the win by forcing Owen Loveto tap out to the Stone Hold, adder further psychogical advantage for Project Vision, before they face the CAN-AM Blondes for the tag titles at Redemption. Result: Jeremy Stone defeated Shingen Miyazaki, Owen Love and Steve Flash in 15:08 when Jeremy Stone defeated Owen Love by submission. Rating: B- _______________________________________________________________ A hype vid plays for the X-Division title match between Dark Angel and Duane Stone, interestingly the video shows clips of both men's work in Japan, putting over their history as respected Super-Junior's in the orient. (B-) Back with the two Tommy's at the announce desk, who add further hype to the X-Division title match. They talk about how Dark Angel and Duane Stone have been recognised as the top Super-Junior workers in NOTBPW since it's inception and how this match has been anticipated as an X-Division title contest since the belts inception. Match # 7: The Main Event: X-Division Title: Dark Angel vs Duane Stone vs About three or four years ago, this match would have been fought at a much faster but some-what spottier pace, both men have slowed down a little in recent years but both are now better technical wrestlers. That being said at times because their styles are so similar, they did not quite mesh quite the way you you would have expected, considering the amounts of times they have faced each other. Though still both competitors showed obvious class and the action was still pretty good. But he match was marred a little by interence, a ref bump at around 6 minutes into the match saw Lucifer Mysteron try to intefere on Dark Angel's behalf (Tommy London complained that Dark Angel has all the talent in the world, let he chooses to tarnish it by having goons like Mysteron constantly intefere in his matches) but Duane Stone took Mysteron out with a swinging DDT. However the interference still gave Dark Angel the opening to take advantage, and the face painted champion got a series of two counts. Duane stuck at it though and nailed Dark Angel with a Stone-Plex, however a weak cover allowed Dark Angel to kick out at two, the match then went back and forth...Duane had a two count with a Moonsault and Dark Angel tried to look in the Wings of Damnation. The finish came when Duane Stone had the champion reeling after a series of suplexes and he was about to nail Dark Angel with another Stone-Plex, however Karen Killer got on the ropes and distracted referee Matthew White. As expected someone came out to stick their oar in on Dark Angel's behalf, except it wasn't another Black Cloud member it was Edd Stone ,though Black Eagle was also there, it's just that Edd beat him to it. Edd levelled Duane Stone with a pair of brass knucks and then sneaked out into the crowd. Dark Angel double under-hooked the arms of a dazed Duane Stone and nailed him to the canvas for an academic Descent Into Hell. Tommy London once again lambasted the actions of Edd Stone, whilst Townsend just laughed and said that Edd simply got another on over his stupid brother Result: Dark Angel defeated Duane Stone in 14:32 by pinfall Dark Angel retains his NOTBPW X-Division title Rating: B+ The show closes with Dark Angel celebrating another succesful X-Division title defence with Karen Killer once again by his side (B-) Overall: B- Whilst the previous edition of Championship Wrestling was a solid showcase of the promotion, this was more of a feud building edition, which usually means in terms of in-ring action it won't be as good of a show, and this proved to be the case, but sometimes shows like this are needed to help set up more matches for the PPV.

NOTBPW News Lots of News Coming out of NOTBPW this week. McWades Gone from NOTBPW It appears that the McWades tenure in NOTBPW has come to an end, the burly brawlers who also work for DAVE, have been released by the critically acclaimed Canadian fed. They were amongst the top teams in NOTBPW's Tag Divison between 2004-2006, but lately found themselves de-pushed as NOTBPW has focused their tag division towards more athletic combo's and the McWades no nonsense brawling style failed to fit in. Tim Westybrook issues challenge Despite finally pinning R.K Hayes 2 weeks ago in a contenders match, that also featured Dan Stone Jr. Westybrook won't let his issues with the resident NOTBPW bad-ass go. Westybrook still feels that Hayes disrespects him and he thinks someone needs to stand up to the bully that is Hayes, especially now that Hayes appears to have brought back Art Reed (who has been working for DAVE) to wreak havoc on the rest of the NOTBPW roster. Westybrook has this to say on the situation... " Hayes someone needs to stand up to you, and our wars over the past few months, has made me more resilliant to the punishment you dish you, 2 weeks ago I also proved that I CAN beat you. It's obvious to everyone that you brought Art Reed back into this company...you may have put Dan Stone Jr out of action, but I'm willing to take anything you can dish out. At Retribution I challenge you to face me and a partner of my choosing ! " Cuthill vs Bitch for Womens Title It has been confirmed that Melody Cuthill will defend her Women's title against Emma Bitch. Bitch and ex backstage interviewer Helen Wheels have been attacking the cornerstones of the Womens Division champion Cuthill, perennial challenger Victoria Stone and veteran Tamara McFly, in an attempt to get noticed and their contraversial tactics appeared to have worked as Bitch has been granted this title shot. Three Way for X -Division title confirmed for Retribution As expected after the events of the X-Division title match between Dark Angel and Duane Stone on championship wrestling. Dark Angel will defend his X-Division title at Retribution against Duane Stone and Edd Stone. Edd Stone cost his brother the chance of winning the title on Championship Wrestling, and the two have been feuding ever since Edd turned on his brother, in a Tag Team Titles/Loser Must Split match agains the CAN-AM Blondes at Tough Love in February. Matt Bray had this to say on why Edd will be in the title match 'With Edd in the match, he can't interfere and Duane can have no excuses that Edd cost him the match by intereference.' This one mainly concentrates on the X-Division title match between Dark Angel and Duane Stone, plus the promo from his sick-bed from Dan Stone Jr. (C+) The two Tommy’s remind us that the main event is the Six-Man Tag involving McFly, Duane Stone & Perez against the team of Dark Angel, Bloodstone & Edd Stone Match # 1: Art Reed vs Mighty Cavanagh vs This match was just an ugly brawl and I’d doubt anyone on this roster, including Sean McFly could get a decent match out of the plodding lump that is Mighty Cavanagh. Art Reed put the audience out of their misery when made Cavanagh tap out to the Dread-Lock. Result: Art Reed defeated Mighty Cavanagh in 5:06 by pinfall. Rating: D- Art Reed stays in the ring and picks up a microphone Back to make an impact “ Dan Stone Jr, what I did to you two weeks ago, is only a preview of the destruction I will cause in NOTBPW, you see the last time I was here I was on the margins, I never got a sniff…..but this time I’m going to make stuff happen, I’m going to make an impact and you the NOTBPW icon, you will feel that impact harder than anyone else “ Rating: E ______________________________________________________________ Match # 2: R.K Hayes vs Steve Flash This is one of those matches that had little fanfare coming into it, but the combatants here just produced a solid ten minute T.V Match, that was intense action from beginning to end. Hayes tried to out-brawl Flash, but the long-haired veteran stood toe to toe with the biggest bad-ass in NOTBPW and eventually used his technical ability to take control of the match and try and wear down Hayes. The highlight spot of the match came, when Flash decided to go high risk but Homicide followed him up and brought him in with a belly to back super-plex. After that both men were feeling the effects but both were determined to get the win, after slugging it out a bit more Flash went for the Flash-Bang but Hayes blocked it and nailed Flash with the Homicide Bomb (Inverted Power Bomb) to pick up the victory. Result: R.K. Hayes defeated Steve Flash in 9:50 by pinfall. Rating: B After the match Hayes is not done, as he wants to send a message that he is still the biggest bad-ass in NOTBPW by beating down Steve Flash, his ‘friend’ Art Reed comes out to help him put the boots to Flash even more but Tim Westybrook comes out with chair in hand and chases them off before they can put Flash in the hospital with Dan Stone Jr. (D) _______________________________________________________ A promotional video is shown to hype the Black Cloud stable featuring Dark Angel, Black Clud, Lucifer Mysteron and Karen Killer. Most of the crowd were fine with these lower-carders, who often don’t get past the Dark Matches or are only there to be job for the star performers, getting a chance to impress on the main show. Cameron Vessey earned his first victory in NOTBPW and secured his place on the roster, when he pinned Gregg Boone with The Straight Edge (Sit-out Body slam pile driver). Dan Stone Jr: The Doctors are telling me to take it easy, but they don’t know that I can’t wait around, I can’t wait to get my hands on Reed. I can’t rest up, I need to get back in the ring…Reed and Hayes you may have put me down, but you haven’t put me out…I will be back, sooner than you think. In fact I might even be back by Saturday at Retribution. Tommy London: By Saturday ?...Don’t you think you are getting carried away, you could do further damage to yourself Dan Stone Jr: Don’t you start London, you sound like one of the Doctors, if I can stand on my own two feet, I’ll be there on Saturday. Frankie Perez: Something I’ll be glad to be assistance to, you see Edd you cost me a chance at X-Division gold too, seems to be some-what of a pattern emerging here. Just because you’re not good enough, just because you can’t get the job done, just because your over-sized ego far out-stretches your ability…you have to ruin it for everyone else…well tonight we’ll ruin things for you by putting you out of action. However the match was tarnished, when Victoria Stone was about to nail Emma Bitch with the Stone-Plex, Helen Wheels distracted the referee. Seeing that the referees attention was elsewhere Victoria Stone let go of the hold, but that was a mistake as that enabled Bitch to pull out a pair of brass knucks and she knocked out Stone from behind with the offending object, when referee Clarence Garcia turned around he counted to three. Result: Emma Bitch defeated Victoria Stone in 4:37 by pinfall Rating: C- ______________________________________________________________ We are back at the announce desk with the Two Tommy’s who hype the six man main event, they pretty much use the time to hype the up-coming title matches that the competitors in this match will be involved in at Retribution. Match # 7: The Main Event: Sean McFly, Duane Stone & Frankie Perez vs Johnny Bloodstone, Dark Angel & Edd Stone vs I’ve come to the conclusion, that no matter who is in them, these Multi-Man tags usually don’t deliver in the main event, this match wasn’t terrible, but despite the fired up promo earlier from McFly’s team this match definitely felt like everyone was saving their best for the PPV. The final 4 minutes of the match did see the action pick up, but the first 10 were pretty forgettable, with six of them being taken up by an over-long heel beat-down section on Frankie Perez until he got the hot-tag into Sean McFly. The deciding moment came when Dark Angel had Duane Stone’s arms double under-hooked in preparation for the Descent into Hell, but Duane Stone reversed it into a Stone-Plex , Perez and McFly made sure that Bloodstone or Edd Stone did not come in to make the save and that was enough to give the faces the victory. Result: Duane Stone, Sean McFly and Frankie Perez defeated Dark Angel, Johnny Bloodstone and Edd Stone in 14:43 when Duane Stone defeated Dark Angel by pinfall. Still hopefully the PPV buy-rate won’t drop again as well. We are putting on a great product right now, yet we are losing audience…if the economy, does not pick up soon…not just NOTBPW but the wrestling industry in Canada in general will be fighting a losing battle. O.O.C Note: The only reason this diary could die out, is if the promotion goes bust and with the horrendous economy the game has generated this could happen. Poor PPV buy-rates, minimal merchandise sales, not selling out the venue…despite regularly putting on B or B- shows for episodes of Championship Wrestling and B+ shows for the PPV’s with A* main events. I can only keep on putting good shows and hope things turn around economically
