He is one of the most over men in America at the moment, and also has big popularity in Canada. - DAVE have contract renewal negotiations coming up with Guide, Emma Chase, and both members of Adrenaline Rush. - TCW are quick off the mark, signing Sammy Bach up the day after he became available for offers. - Koji Kojima wins the WLW Universal title for a fifth time, beating Hell Monkey. - Steve Frehley debuts on TCW TV by beating ex-TCW champion Liberty. Week 2 - PGHW sign Stuart Ferdinand, former employee, and make him go to SAISHO for development. Wow, what an insult! - Ryan Powell joins 4C, who continue to put together a great talented roster. - Teddy Powell and Guide both re-sign with DAVE. - Emma Bitch wins her fourth NOTBPW Women's title. - Emma Chase re-signs with DAVE. - One of SWF's biggest surprises, Lead Belly, gets his third North American title, beating Sam Keith. - Over in GCG, two of their touring workers from DAVE are teamed up - Big Cat Brandon and Black Eagle. Well, he's better than The Wolverine at any rate. - Steve "Jesus Push" Frehley beats Tommy Cornell in the main event of TCW's latest TV show. - Crusher Ichihara returns from injury. Her body health is now at B-, and at 41 years of age she is only goingto get worse from this point onwards. Week 3 - Travis Century and Big Cat Brandon are both staying with DAVE following contract renewals. - TCW sign Pat Deacon, who had been working for SWF and DAVE. - The Gilberts lose their CGC tag titles to Nate Johnson and Robbie Retro. - Jay Chord turns down the chance to go to DAVE, unwilling to give up his MAW contract. 4C also get turned down, by the suddenly in-demand star. - Paul Steadyfast's MAW contract is up for renewal. Week 4 - Remmy Skye is the new 4C Hardcore champ, beating The Wizard Of Ottowa. - Giant Redwood is hurt with swivel hips. It doesn't bear thinking about. - Steve Frehley gets another win over Cornell, and remains undefeated. Sammy Bach debuts on the same show, losing to Freddie Datsun. - The Natural beats Joey Minnesota for the TCW All Action title. - DAVE sign Primus Allen. - Paul Steadyfast, MAW's main man, is remaining. - 4C get Brett Biggz. The Biggz' seem to have worked for just about every promotion in North America over the last two years. - Captain USA joins DAVE. I guess the head injury is still affecting Mr. Caulfield. - Paul Steadyfast beats Des Davids in the final to win the annual Rip Chord Invitational. Jay Chord went out in the first round, while former holder Eddie Howard went out in the semis. - Frehleyberg continues his undefeated streak, beating Eddie Peak. - Tasuku Iesada wins the INSPIRE King Of Fighters from Mike Watson. - Angry Gilmore heads to MPWF. - Robbie Retro's bizzare dominance of CGC continues, he beats Nomad for the Canadian title. - DAVE launch a new tag team...Captain USA and Greg freaking Gauge. Rumours that Chris Caulfield has been drinking heavily recently are probably correct. - Not one, but two new promotions open in Europe on the same day, in Operation Saturation. The first is the European Wrestling Federation, an old-school promotion. The other is Eastern European World Wrestling, EWWW, which is a cult-like promotion. On the plus side, there's plenty of talent available and the economy is in a decent way. The downside is that the wrestling industry is only at E, although it is rising. - TCW get the first A of the year, as Troy Tornado beats Tommy Cornell in the main event of their PPV. On the undercard, Frehleyberg beats Robert Oxford, and Sammy Bach loses to The Natural in an All Action title match. Rick Law wins the International title off Genghis Rahn. - 5SSW end their latest tour, which was so dull that I can't remember anything happening. - Jonnie Perez, Frankie's brother, enters wrestling. Frankie is still spending his days jobbing in NOTBPW by the way. February 2009 Week 1 - JD Morgan is out for a month with a concussion. - Frehleyberg beats Cornell, again, and remains undefeated. - Haru Kurofuji is out for 13 months with a massive concussion. - DAVE sign Reese Paige, female road agent. - EWF's new owner is...Luis Figo Manico, former UCR head honcho. - EEWW's new owner is former ROFD booker Arson Wells. - Brandon Smith has been having plenty of matches in TCW recently, mainly taking on the Nation Of Filth by himself, and is now up to Lower Midcard. - GCG get a new world champion, as Hiroyasu Gakusha's 26 successful defences come to an end via ex-NOTBPW man Shingen Miyazaki. He has slowly worked his way up to the main event, and is one of their best and most popular workers at the moment. - Manico hires his old mate Captain Hero to be head booker of EWF. Now all they need is Byron and they can recreate the UCR world title scene with complete accuracy. - Remember sons of legends Ash Campbell and Cameron Vessey? They're reduced to fighting each other in front of 15 people in the Colorado Springs Bar. Week 2 - Bach gets his first TCW win, over 51 year old Corporal Doom. On the same show, Brandon Smith gets his first ever title shot, against Texas Pete, but loses. - Joshua Taylor and Tracy Brendon split up. - Tsuki Kawamata is out of AAA, a rare moment of movement from their roster. - Sam Keith and Lead Belly, now known as the Mega Men, beats the Squid Squad for the SWF tag team titles. Lead Belly has actually turned into a decent worker after the past six months in the North American title scene, and is one of SWF's few genuine new stars. - British Samurai is the new EEWW head booker. - Zimmy Bumfhole has become a TCW midcarder since his move from SWF by the way, and other than a loss to Eric Tyler has been doing OK for himself. It's a long drop from his position in the SWF main event though. - Rudy Velasquez has become something of a success story for DAVE, he is up to the midcard, about to break into the upper midcard. His two Latino King team-mates are still openers. - Toshiharu Hyobanshi is signed by BHOTWG to a short term contract. - Valiant beats Guide for the DAVE Brass Knuckles title. - 19 year old Matthew Gauge has risen to MPWF main eventer, as well as his other roles as midcarder in CZCW and openeing-level touring worker for INSPIRE. Week 3 - Eddie Chandler wins the NOTBPW Unlimited Action title for the fourth time. - Remmy Skye beats Matt Sparrow for the CZCW Xtreme title. - GCG sign Silver Shark on a verbal. - Peter Valentine is frustrated after a year without a match. Not as frustrated as the fans were when he was wrestling. - The Frehleyberg streak is over, courtesy of Jack Griffith in the main event of TCW's TV show. Elsewhere on the show, Zimmy pins Texas Pete. - On the same day that Zimmy is getting his win in TCW, brother Randy is getting beaten by Art Reed in the NOTBPW midcard. - EWF launch their first ever tour. It is headlined by Captain Hero beating Manico to become the first EWF World champion, and also sees Puffy beat Beast Bantom for the National title. The show is a solid C and draws 144 people. - Axxis Jr, Mexico's best wrestler in the last Top 100, is the new SOTBPW champion. That's his second. SOTBPW are going well at the moment, with Gino Montero their most consistent worker. At this rate, he will be above Axxis in the next top 100. He's currently yet to fall below a B- this year. - EWF's latest signing, as they continue to fill their roster, is a certain Edward Cornell. Week 4 - EWF's second show sees the same main event as before, but the undercard has Edward Cornell making his debut with a win over The Big Bad, and the team of Beast Bantom and Herschel The Hammer ("Amazingly Awesome") winning the International tag team titles by beating Kiss This (the name aside, an actually fairly good pairing of Bam Bam Johansson and Scott Van Den Berg). - Derek Frost and Dark Angel finally lose their tag titles, to the new team of TNT, Eddie Chandler and The Insane Heat. - TCW launch a new team, Bulldozer Brandon Smith and American Elemental, AKA The Exiles. TCW actually have a proper tag feud going over the titles at the moment, as The Tag Team Specialists are defending regularly against The Darkness Warriors. The Exiles may be about to make it a three-way. - Quite a few title changes happen on the same day around the world; Steve Gumble wins the TCW All Action title again, Team Roar (Atlas and John Greed) finally defeat The Heartbreakers for the RIPW tag titles, and Rod Todd and Trance win the 21CW tag titles. - In what I believe is Mexico's first A grade match, Axxis Jr beats Gino Montero to defend his SOTBPW title. - Steve Frehley loses to Tommy Cornell on TCW's latest TV show. - Captain USA has been let go by CGC. - EEWW have actually got a decent roster together ready for their debut show. They have reformed the Show Stealers (Matravers and Barnes), and have Johnny Stones, Rod Todd, and Inky The Squid Boy also around. That should be enough to get them some C rated shows, and gain some popularity. - TCW put on a great PPV to end the month, although it only contains one title change, Liberty beating Rick Law for the International belt. - El Bestia Purpura and Joy DeWitt enter wrestling. - Wrestling Machine #2 (Brent Hill) is out for a month with a kidney infection. - Zimmy Bumfhole goes from Entertainer to Regular Wrestler, which should boost his chances of success in TCW. - WLW end their latest tour, which was highlighted by Rhino Umaga being a regular main eventer and having some great matches. I forgot to mention that Nathaniel Ca$ino was on that WLW tour and did well, as did Greg Gauge. GCG are also done, with Big Cat Brandon and Black Eagle having acquitted themselves well in the East. March 2009 Week 1 - Current Glory Crowd holder Mito Miwa repeats his feat of last year, winning the Elite series. He beats Raymond Diaz in the final. - BHOTWG kick off their new tour with two title changes; Yasuhiko Taira beats Horri for the world title, and Elemental II wins the Junior belt off Kiyaru. - Marat Khoklov has joined PGHW's tour, a late addition. - 5SSW bring back June Butler. - EEWW start their first tour. There is no new world champion, as the main event between Inky and Ivan Ivanoff is a draw. On the undercard, Rod Todd beats Jacques DuPont for the TV title. It's a D+ card overall. - GCG bring in luchador El Bandito for their next tour. - Nina The Psycho Ballerina will be touring with 5SSW. - Cameron Vessey will be touring with PGHW, which means he has the potential to end up teaming (or facing) his father and uncle. It'll be a great learning experience for him either way. - First A of the year for PGHW, and it's Miwa, with a successful defence against Tatsuko. Mushashibo will be pissed, he starts 2009 with a C+ rating, and a defeat, to Marat. - Enygma will be touring with WLW. - GCG have signed Greg Gauge to a verbal deal. - Well that didn't take long; EWF are already down to their last $5000, and have fired Roberto Milano to reduce the roster size. Roberto may be the most unlucky man in the game, he kept getting signed by UCR only to be released again, and only ended up with one match for them. - Former BHOTWG man Hyosuke Kokan joins GCG on a verbal. Week 2 - Bulldozer Brandon Smith signs a contract extension with TCW. After a poor start there, his career is beginning to take off. - Duane and Jeremy Stone pull out the first A of the year for NOTBPW. - Cameron Vessey makes his debut in the opener of PGHW's latest show, losing to the International tag team champs with Strong Style Yoemon as his partner. Uncle Bryan is in the main event six man. - TCW steal one of SWF's best workers, Angry Gilmore. It's a written contract, so that puts an end to his work in Mexico and Japan too. - Tommy Cornell becomes a five-time TCW champion, beating Troy Tornado in an A grade match. - Joss Thompson beats Sgt. Bubba Lee West for the USPW National title. West seems to be being pushed into the main event scene instead. - Ivan Ivanoff is the first EEWW champion, beating Rolling Johnny Stones. Appropriately, they were in Russia. On the same show, The Show Stealers make their return as a unit, beating Ripper LeStat and Rod Todd. - Guide is on the next GCG tour. - Donnie J has turned heel in CZCW, possibly as a result of falling to the Upper Midcard, and that results in a Fly Boys reunion as they team up for the first time in ages to lose to The Dogs Of War (Sparrow and Skye) in a tag title match. - PGHW do another A grade show, and another back-to-back A grade matches. Miwa defeats Mushashibo for one, Inukai beats Tatsuko for the other. - The Flying Stones (Edd and Duane) win the annual Ed Henson tournament, beating Owen Love and Johnny Bloodstone in the final. Dan and Jeremy were eliminted in the first round by the losing finalists. - Elmo Benson signs a verbal deal with CGC. Week 3 - American Elemental wins the TCW All Action belt. - 4C sign Nate Johnson. - DAVE Unified champion Darryl Devine beats Lead Belly to win the SWF North American title too. - Marc DuBois' contract with SWF is up for renewal. He's been a big disappointment so far, he's still not made it out of the midcard. - CGC give Ash Campbell a lifeline, by handing him a verbal deal. Week 4 - MPWF sign El Bestia Purpura. - Nomad beats Citizen X to win the 4C title. - Ryan Powell is out for a month with a concussion. - CZCW sign SWF opener Puerto Rican Power. - Angry Gilmore debuts for TCW with a win over Steve Gumble. Like Zimmy Bumfhole, Gilmore begins as just another midcarder. - Marc DuBois chooses to stay with SWF. - Remmy Skye and Ernie Turner have a falling out in CZCW. - SUKI has chosen to leave Pro Wrestling SAISHO. - Zimmy Bumfhole gets his first TCW belt, beating Liberty for the International title. - Ash Campbell debuts for CGC with a loss to Ed Monton. Elmo Benson debuts on the same show, teaming with Nate Johnson to defeat Joey Sexy and Mick Muscles. - Another Samoan enters wrestling, Arthur Dexter Bradley. - EWF have financial warnings already, and look destined to not make it through an entire year of business. - INSPIRE and EEWW end their current tours. - 4C sign Brendan Idol.

Good to see Ash and Cameron finally getting jobs. Its so cool to see how different the world can progress, I'm just a few months behind where you're at Adam, and my game has some similarities and some vast differences. CGC is my go around has become the land of lost toys with lots of TCW cast offs getting employed (as TCW has picked up some amazingly talented folks) and SWF stars on open contracts (as SWF has sunk to amazing lows in my save). Just fun to compare.
The SWF announcing is being done by Jerry Eisen (who of course can't be stolen as he's under a lifetime deal) and Farrah Hesketh (head booker). As they're only a cult promotion nowadays, that's all the need for the time being.
in my game they were able to recover and get back to global by Nov 2008 after falling to cult in Jan 2008 when the "universe was existentialy patched after a distended anus" :p or in this case, I applied the 1.3 patch

SWF fell in my save also, stayed cult for 4 months and went international. When the grew to international they stole 3 of 4 of my most over and talented men, Steven Parker, Greg Gauge, and Ultimate Phoenix. The only one they didnt take was Mean Jean Cattley.

April 2009 Week 1 - The first ever Biggz Boyz vs New Wave match gets a B-. - Steve DeColt beats Alex DeColt for his fifth CGC title. - Louis Figo Manico wins his EWF world title from Captain Hero. - Dread regains the PGHW Historical Japan title from Buddy Garner. - Chris Caulfield turns down CGC to remain loyal to DAVE. - BSC have a new champion, as Jen Neptune beats Beth Mercy. BSC have a solid business model; although they've yet to put on a match over E+, they sell out the 300 seat Piper Casino once a month, make a small profit, and just keep rolling on. - MPWF rise to Cult size. They are the lucha fed that have made extensive use of American talent in the past, with Angry Gilmore the biggest name they had brought in, and Matthew Gauge and some of the DAVE roster currently working for them. - Mick Muscles beats Robbie Retro for the CGC Canadian title, his second. - Ex-INSPIRE kick boxer Mohamed El Yaggoudi is signed by PGHW, and sent to SAISHO for development. Week 2 - PGHW do another back-to-back A grade show, but only get a B+ overall. Miwa's successful defence against Kunomasu was preceded by Tatsuko beating Inukai. - MHW rise to Regional. They have a real eclectic roster, a fact probably highlighted by the fact that Dan DaLay has popped up on their shows recently. Under normal circumstances they'd be struggling, but both the Mexican economy and industry are sky high, so that has given them a boost. - MPWF start their talent signing spree by signing CZCW star Ultimate Phoenix, and new boy Arthur Dexter Bradley. - NYCW head booker Bart Biggz becomes the latest DAVE guy to book for them, only to walk out later, as he turns down their contract extension. - Just a quick note that the most in form promotion outside of PGHW is quite surprising; SOTBPW. With their newly formed roster of amazing talent, they are hitting B+ shows for fun now, and have only dipped below a B- twice this year. They are also up to a C+ in the South West of America, so could be about to try and take over some more regions in their expansion. - Electo and Atlantis Jr both head to MPWF. Remember, SOTBPW rose to National size, and so everybody they've since signed is on a Written deal, limiting the selectionn for MPWF a little bit. - Nate Johnson and Dazzling Dave Diamond of NYCW are now enemies apparently. - Whippy The Clown, surprise star of NOTBPW recently, is looking to go to Japan. - Davis Wayne Newton gets the biggest win of his career, beating former Wrestler Of The Year Sean McFly. That boosts his popularity so that he achieves a couple of A's in Canada now. On the same show, Jacob Jett beats Eddie Chandler for the NOTBPW Unlimited Action belt. - British worker Merle O'Curle has shown up on GCG's latest show. - The Great Hisato wins the WLW Universal title for the second time. - Big Cat Brandon wins his third DAVE Unified title, beating Shawn Gonzalez and the former champion Darryl Devine in a three way dance. - Stink doesn't get a TCW contract extension, and so it out. He has achieved very little recently, other than being Bulldozer Brandon Smith's designated job boy. Week 3 - Arjen Van Den Leyne beats Larry Wood to win the GCG Openweight title. - Samoan Machine & Everest, who have been pushed heavily as a tag team by BHOTWG, unseat The Rebellion to win their second set of tag team titles. - Joe Sexy wins his first SWF world title, winning a four way dance over Bruce, Rich Money and Remo. - On the same night as Joe's win, 5SSW also finally crown a brand new champion, elevating DEVIL Karube with a win over Crusher Ichihara. - Edward Cornell, EWF's MVP of recent weeks, is out for a month with an arm injury. - CGC sign Primus Allen. - DAVE launch a new team, The Pain Killers, of Nathan Coleman and Travis Century. - Gareth Wayne goes to INSPIRE. - Chris Caulfield signs an extension with DAVE. Week 4 - Hell Monkey is now a regular main eventer for BHOTWG; it's a long way from his days working for MAW. - DAVE star Valiant turns down a USPW contract extension offer. - MPWF sign former UCR star and current EEWW worker Inky The Squid Boy. - Hiroaki Nakasawa beats Taira for the BHOTWG world championship. Despite his back still being a mess, and about one good shot from retirement, "The H Bomb" has still been regularly knocking out B and B+ rated matches. That's his second world title. - Yuma Maruya wins the 5SSW All-Asian title for a second time. - Citizen X and Sayeed Ali have become enemies, getting into a fight backstage at a 4C event. - The Biggz Boyz achieve the remarkable feat of winning tag titles in two of the big companies, as they capture the DAVE tag titles to add to their four SWF reigns. They beat Guide and JD Morgan. - Rhino Umaga, who was having an awesome run on top of GCG while on tour, suffers a spinal injury and is out for 14 months. It's the same injury that nearly ended the career of Nakasawa. - Nigel Svensson enters wrestling. May 2009 Week 1 - Team Toronto beat Koiso and Kawashima for the PGHW tag team titles. That's reign #4 for them. On the same show, Ugaki beats Muruyama for the International belt, his second. - Mitsunari Fugunaga suffers the same spinal injury as Rhino Umaga, and is out for a year. He had been becoming a good worker for WLW. - Nevada Nuclear is the SWF Shooting Star champ yet again, beating Bling. - It's been a bad couple of weeks for injuries in Japan; Julian Watson is the latest to take a big injury, a massive concussion has ruled him out for over a year too. He was working for GCG, INSPIRE and WLW at the time. - 21CW and MPWF both surprisingly announce new TV shows. MPWF make it a double big surprise by also announcing that they've got a PPV deal. - Koki Ishibashi signs with PGHW. He's still retired, he'll be working backstage. - Axxis and Gino Montero give SOTBPW another A grade match. - INSPIRE sign Blood Raven and Black Eagle for their next tour. - Valiant turns down CZCW's contract extension, as he decides to work solely for DAVE, where he is the current Brass Knuckles champion. - Mamoru Nagahama picks up a minor neck injury. The guy has had about twenty injuries since the game began, but they're always very minor. The GCG and INSPIRE man is starting to drop into C+ grades for all his body though, and so could get retired with one nasty injury. - INSPIRE bring in Big Cat Brandon for another tour. - SOTBPW's Mexican Beast is off to film a movie called A Brand New Day. - Tank Bradley's contract is up for renewal in DAVE. Alex Braun, his erstwhile partner, is still unemployed post-TCW. - Hito Ichihara has left 5SSW, leaving the booker position available. NYCW's is also vacant at the moment, due to Bart Biggz' departure. Week 2 - Joey Minnesota beats Zimmy Bumfhole to claim the TCW International title. - Shawn Gonzalez is re-hired to be head booker of NYCW. He was hired in January 2008 for his first run. - The Great Hisato also returns to the head booker position of 5SSW. - 5SSW rise to Cult size. Talk about a quick impact, Hisato only took over yesterday. - SOTBPW bring in Soul Taker, who only needs their world title to complete the lucha "triple crown". - Lee Rivera beats Jacob Jett for the NOTBPW Unlimited Action title. - The MPWF title, which has been in the toilet for a while now with a series of weak champions (Daniel Cano, Magnificent Mark and Europea), finally may have found its way to a true champion; Matthew Gauge wins his first world title. Who won that very same title 25 years ago, almost to the month? His dad, Sam Keith. What a great story. Week 3 - Eagle Kawasawa joins WLW. - Troy Tornado, former TCW world champion, drops down a level to beat Joey Minnesota for the International title. He has been knocked out of the main event scene by the emergence of Zimmy Bumfhole, Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley from SWF. - Dragon Assassin becomes the new 5SSW All-Asian champion. - T-Rex becomes the new USPW champion, beating Warlord Pain. - MAW finally move up out of the Stanley Hall and run the Delaware Auditorium. They draw a sell out 1,000 fans. - 5SSW bring in Suzue Katayama, Nadia Snow and Lioness Mushashibo. Snow has toured with them in the past, but has now gotten a verbal deal. - Add Alicia Strong to that list. - SWF world champion Joe Sexy is out for a month with a bicep injury. - TCW seem to have formed some sort of stable with Sammy Bach, Chance Fortune and Freddy Huggins. The three have been regularly teaming up over the past few shows. - Hiroaki Nakasawa's reign as BHOTWG champion is flopping. His injuries are really starting to tell, and he's struggling to get above a C, even with good opponents. - Bad To The Bone (Vampella and Alison Capone) win the BSC tag titles, in a rare belt switch in that promotion. - Shuji Inukai beats Mito Miwa for his third Glory Crown reign. Miwa managed 19 defences. - USPW sign Puerto Rican Power. He wrestled for them for five months at the start of 2007, before defecting to SWF. Week 4 - More injury woes for Hiroaki Nakasawa, he now has a damaged elbow. He's out for two weeks. - WLW make a surprise signing - ex-WEXXV head honcho Ryu Kajahara is coming in. - MAW sign Air Attack Weasel, of 4C fame. - All the game areas, except UK and Europe, are currently in really good economic and industry level situations, which is why everything seems to be going very stable. UK and Europe aren't in bad positions, they're both on the rise and will soon both hit the C grade level. - Another back-to-back A grade match success for PGHW; Inukai over Mushashibo followed Vessey over Kunomasu. - 5SSW make another set of cuts, including Nadia Snow. The promotion seems to be forever fluctuating; as soon as they get a bit of money and sign some new wrestlers, they fall right back into debt and have to cut some in turn. - Eddie Peak and Rick Law win the TCW tag team titles, in TCW's second successive PPV that broke the 8.00 buy rate mark. The new team will be called Murder, Inc. They look like a really good addition to TCW's already-awesome tag scene. - JD Morgan wins a three way dance over Travis Century and Valiant to win his second DAVE Brass Knuckles championship. - PGHW, WLW and 5SSW all end their latest tours. - El Estrella enters wrestling. - TCW and NOTBPW both voluntarily end one of their TV shows. - Incidentally, Casey Valentine, Peter's nephew, was on the last WLW tour, which is the first time he's had employment. He lost most of his matches, but did pick up two victories, one over the luchador El Fuerza, the other over former SWF world champion Enygma. June 2009 Week 1 - Herschel The Hammer is the new EWF National champion, beating Puffy. - Elemental II wins the Best Of The Super Juniors, beating Silver Shark in the final. The winner from the past two years, Kansuke Konda, wasn't involved in the tournament at all. - Flying Jimmy Foxx breaks his neck during a match with Jeremiah Moose, and is out for fourteen months. His career may well be over. - The Highland Warrior beats Thug to get the MOSC UK championship back for the eighth time. - Inky wins the EEWW title, beating Ivan Ivanoff. - Herschel The Hammer drops his EWF National title already, to Scott Van Den Berg. - In a strange tale, Lobster Warrior and Mainstream Hernandez have begun a backstage feud in SWF. - Stevie Grayson of NYCW, and formerly of TCW, signs on for a tour with WLW. Week 2 - Former SWF man Roger Dodger joins CZCW. - Mohamed El Yaaggoudi beats Toshinobu Taku for the SAISHO Destiny title. - Akima Brave beats Darryl Devine for the SWF North American title, and is now starting to head towards a main event spot. - Pit Bull Brown beats old foe Rod Todd for the 21CW UK title. - SWF put on one of their worst ever PPVs, headlined by Frederique Antonio Garcia beating Skull DeBones. - Hollywood Magic beat Bad To The Bone for the BSC tag titles. - Toshiharu Hyobanshi, former GCG star who then headed to BHOTWG as a freelancer, is now going to be working for PGHW for a while. That presents some dream match scenarios. - The legendary Sam Keith, former SWF booker, is heading back to Japan. He'll be touring with PGHW next month. Sam was a former BHOTWG star back in the day, and this move also brings up a potential dream match; Keith's Proton Lock vs. Mushashibo's Yoshimi Lock. - Nate Johnson beats Mick Muscles for the CGC Canadian title. Week 3 - The Rebellion beat Samoan Machine & Everest to get the BHOTWG tag titles back. - Air Attack Weasel makes a good start to his MAW career, teaming up with The Mean Machine to take the tag titles off the A* Alliance. They will be known as The Stretching Crew. - Champagne Lover finally ends Axxis' great run as SOTBPW champion, making him a two-time champion. - Bam Bam Johansson and Mr. Evilness beat Beast Bantom and Herschel to win the EWF International tag team titles. - Golden Scorpion beats Elemental II for the BHOTWG Junior title, his second. - Brett Biggz' DAVE contract is up for renewal. - Enygma will be touring with PGHW, having obviously impressed with WLW. - Axxis signs a contract extension with SOTBPW. He is their MVP this year, and that's a great signing for them. Week 4 - Brett Biggz beats Remmy Skye for the 4C Hardcore title. - MPWF's latest TV show has a fascinating main event; Matthew Gauge defends his world title against his own brother, Greg. It's a solid B grade match. - Captain Hero wins the EWF title off Louis Figo Manico. - Sean McFly has not been offered a contract extension by NOTBPW. After the way his career went down the toilet in 2008, he'll probably be glad to get out of there and get work in America, Japan...anywhere. He's currently just a midcarder, after being world champion and wrestler of the year in 2007. - Mainstream Hernadez wins the SWF Shooting Star title off Nevada Nuclear. - Perhaps seeing how bad his matches have been, BHOTWG take the title off Nakasawa and onto Kinnojo Horri. He is now a four time champion, which is remarkably a new record. Horri is only on B+ popularity in most of Japan, so he must be considered a bit of a weak champion. - Christian Price and Gargantuan are the unusual team who have just won the CGC tag titles. That's Gargantuan's first ever pro title. The previous champs were Robbie Retro and Nate Johnson. - EWF go out of business. Unsurprisingly. EEWW are still turning a healthy profit, and look OK. - Steel enters wrestling. - BHOTWG end their latest tour, as do GCG. - Steve Frehley beats Tommy Cornell to win the TCW world title, meaning he joins the small club of wrestlers to have won SWF and TCW world titles.

Sean McFly has been released in my game, and hasn't found employment for almost a year :S And he doesn't work independent shows (I could obviously imagine why, as he probably doesn't need to) I think independent shows could get some more viewers though, with the economy and wrestling industry up in the B+'s I have yet to see anything largely over 100 in attendance, with some pretty big names being released from NOTBPW, TCW and SWF.

I don't think the bigger names do work Indy shows, because like you said, they're above them, and would probably cost too much. PGHW or Burning Hammer will probably pick him up though :D
- Steve Frehley beats Tommy Cornell to win the TCW world title, meaning he joins the small club of wrestlers to have won SWF and TCW world titles.
Do I get a 'geek of the year' award for knowing that said club when the game starts consists of only Sam Strong, Rip Chord and Dread? :p Probably not, considering there have only been four other TCW World champions; Cornell, Liberty, BLZ Bubb and RDJ.

Ryu is currently 4-0 in the promotion. - Jacques DuPont and British Samurai lose the EEWW tag titles to Arjen Van Den Leyne and Ripper LeStat. Also on the show, Adam Matravers wins the TV title in a triangle match with Rod Todd and Arthur T Turtle. - Jack Bruce beats Troy Tornado for the International title, shortly before Cornell gets an A grade out of Steve Frehley. TC won the match, but not the title. - Tyler Baker, former 21CW owner and now their referee, has begun a heated rivalry with Jeff Nova, the man who bought the promotion from him. Well, it makes sense. Week 2 - BSC finally break the E grade barrier, hitting a D- for Jen Neptune beating her sister Kathy to retain the BSC title. - Sam Keith debuts for PGHW, losing to Dread in a Historical Japan title match. - Eagle Kawasawa wins the WLW Show Stealer title off Silver Shark. - Petey Barnes beats Inky to become the new EEWW champion. The Show Stealers now hold both singles titles, but not the tag belts. - Emerald Angel, the forgotten man of WLW, comes back to win the Universal title from Hisato. - Another back-to-back A feat for PGHW, involving the usual suspects. - Angel De Mexico wins the MHW title, which had been vacated. - NYCW rise to Regional level. - PRIDE Koiso beats Dread for the PGHW Historical Japan title. - Morimasa Kato joins GCG. Week 3 - There's an odd site - former BHOTWG star Koshiro Ino loses to former GCG star Toshiharu Hyobanshi on a PGHW card. - Tommy and Wrestling Machine #1 pull out another A grade match. - Sgt. Bubba Lee West returns to NYCW. - Jack Giedroyc beats Akima Brave for the SWF North American title. That's his second. - Konnojo Horri's contract is up for renewal in Japan, he's the current BHOTWG champion. - The Gilbert Brothers regain the CGC tag titles from Gargantuan and Price. In the main event, Steve DeColt beats Elmo Benson to retain. - Roku Sotomura is out for eleven months with a rotator cuff injury. He isn't a huge name, but is a solid midcarder for lots of Japanese promotions. - MAW sign Billy Russell, the shoot fighter and former INSPIRE champion. Week 4 - Sean McFly officially leaves NOTBPW. - Jacob Jett beats Lee Rivera for the NOTBPW Unlimited Action title, his fourth. - Takesi Umehara joins GCG. - Cornell and Tornado do another A match, making it two Tuesday night A grades in two weeks for Rough Justice. - Grease Hogg, formerly part of the Dirty White Boys in SWF, joins NYCW. He's been unemployed for a while, and must be jealous that Lead Belly has gone on to such great singles success without him. - Skull DeBones' contract is up for renewal with SWF. - NYCW make two new signings; SWF worker Jumbo Shrimp comes in, as does former DAVE worker and current USPW head booker Johnny Martin. - Marc DuBois finally gets sick of being perpetually stuck in the SWF midcard, and leaves to join NOTBPW. However, if Randy Bumfhole couldn't make it up in Canada, it doesn't seem likely that DuBois will make much of an impact. - 21CW look like they've finally hit some financial trouble; they are forced into making a big roster cut, which is in part down to the fact that they had an enormously bloated roster to begin with. Chuck Frisby, Clinton Washington, Rave, Davey London, Igor Ivanoff, Phillip Cooper and Glen Ward are all released. - Valiant and Vin Tanner, The Perfect Criminals, beat The Biggz Boyz for the DAVE tag titles. - Island Boy Apollo and Roy Edison join the wrestling world. - In a big moment, Farrah Hesketh is removed from her position as SWF head booker. Although they are still making money, the promotion is losing its popularity outside of America, and that is why she is going. This isn't really her fault though; their two remaining TV shows are only shown on the East Coast, and their new PPV deal is for American only, and so the company is having to tour around the USA constantly to keep its popularity up. This has meant that Mexico and Canada are both falling from their old levels, which were established back when SWF had a much wider TV and PPV coverage. Hesketh has become a scape-goat for a much bigger problem. It's interesting to note that Nemesis, who has a great track record as a booker, is still available since leaving DAVE, and if he can patch up his differences with Richard Eisen, could help them. - Dan DaLay has left MHW, so their head booker position is also now available. August 2009 Week 1 - Skull DeBones has not signed his contract extension. He'll be hoping to do rather better than Runaway Train, who is still unemployed. - Cique Jr is the new head booker of MHW. - Stevie Stoat and Pit Bull Brown, Terror Rising, win the 21CW tag team titles for a second time. - SWF spring a big surprise; Larry Wood is announced as their new head booker. He's become a big star in Japan, but is virtually unknown in the US. - DAVE High Impact and NOTBPW Throwback are two new TV shows about to debut. - Kalu Owusu of INSPIRE joins GCG. - Matthew Gauge and Guide will both be working the next BHOTWG tour. - Thomas Morgan wins the CGC Canadian title off Nate Johnson. - SOTBPW have another A grade match to celebrate, as Champagne Lover defends his title against Gino Montero. - GCG sign Roy Edison, who has only been in the game world for six days. - Yodo Nakane has left SAISHO, who now need a new booker. - BHOTWG announce that Scout will also be on their next tour, and promptly form The New Wave on their tag team roster. - TCW announce a new TV show. - Akima Brave is another new face heading to BHOTWG for their next tour. The explosion of foreign talent is because the Japanese economy is so strong that they can afford it. Week 2 - Davis Wayne Newton finally gets a bit of a push, and his first title, as he beats Jacob Jett for the NOTBPW Unlimited Action title. - Hito Ichihara, former 5SSW booker, takes over the creative end of SAISHO. - Masaaki Okazaki beats Tatsuku Iesada for the King Of Fighters title. He's the seventh champion, and nobody has yet regained the title. Strangely, the one name missing from the roll-call of champions is Tadiyuki Kikkawa. - Champagne Lover and Jennifer Heat split up. - Kid Toma returns to action for SWF, after a long injury. His first match back sees the Mega Men beat The Samoan Wildboyz to defend their titles. - Christian Faith wins his sixth SWF world title, beating Joe Sexy. - MAW have decided to release former champion Steven Parker. - CZCW sign T-Rex. - Nate Johnson beats Steve DeColt for the CGC World title. That's the first time the title has been out of the hands of the DeColt family since John Maverick's reign in 2005-2006. Johnson has now held every title in the promotion. - Kawashima and Koiso beat Team Toronto to regain the PGHW Glory Tag crown. That's their third reign. - Spanish Superfly, the luchador, will be touring with GCG. - RK Hayes regains the NOTBPW title, beating Duane Stone. Marc DuBois debuts on the same show, losing to Shooter Sean Deeley. - Nigel Svensson will be touring with GCG. - Enforcer Roberts may be the next guy to leave SWF, his contract is running out. - GCG sign Runaway Train to be part of their next tour. He hasn't wrestled since June last year when he lost to Zimmy Bumfhole in SWF. Week 3 - DAVE are letting Travis Century go. He's been there for a while, but has never actually won a title. At 46 years old, he isn't going to improve any from this point. - Magnifico and Axxis put on another A grade match for SOTBPW. - Arthur T Turtle is out for a year with a concussion. - NOTBPW sign Rock Downpour. - Big Cat Brandon signs an extension with DAVE. Week 4 - Man, that was a dull week 3. - Kiko Sakabibara wins her fourth 5SSW All-Asian title, beating Dragon Assassin. - Skull DeBones is now a free agent. - Johnny Bloodstone's NOTBPW contract is up for renewal, he has been very quiet recently. - TCW are releasing Grunt too, as with Stink unemployed they no longer have any use for him. - DAVE are getting rid of Captain USA, who is 51. Added to Travis Century, it looks like they are getting rid of the deadwood. - Guide on the eve of his BHOTWG tour, wins a three way dance over Big Cat Brandon and his tag partner Scout to win the DAVE Unified title. That's his first reign, and means both members of the New Wave have now held the title. - Hollywood Bret Starr, grandson of the legend Micky Starr, enters wrestling. So does Gemmei Oonishi. - SOTBPW let one of their TV shows end. - PGHW, WLW and EEWW all end their latest tours. - EEWW may be about go under. - Paul Steadyfast extends his deal with MAW. He is still champion, they appear to be going very old-school in letting him have a long run. September 2009 Week 1 - Shawn Gonzalez beats JD Morgan and Valiant in a three way match to win the DAVE Brass Knuckles title. - Genghis Rahn beats Jack Bruce for the TCW International title, his fourth. - DAVE re-sign Remmy Skye. - AAA announcer Jim Lou Freebush joins DAVE on a verbal. - The New Wave make their BHOTWG debuts as a team, losing to Claudio Burdisso and Yuki Horigoshi in the midcard. Matthew Gauge debuts with a win over Sakai. - Skull DeBones signs up for WLW's next tour. Henry Lee will be joining him, as will Nathaniel Ca$ino. - Sam Keith will be touring with INSPIRE. - Runaway Train debuts for GCG with an opening match loss to Kimitada Yanagita. Greg Gauge makes his first appearance of the tour nearer the main event, losing to SUKI in a good match. Roy Edison debuts in the main event six man match, and is on the winning side. - Stevie Stoat wins the 21CW UK title, beating his partner Pit Bull Brown. - Robbie Retro beats Thomas Morgan for the CGC Canadian title. It's his second reign. - Matthew Gauge drops his MPWF title, losing to Atlantis Jr. Week 2 - Akima Brave makes his BHOTWG debut, losing to Nissho Yuasa. - Alicia Strong proves that winning world titles runs in the Strong family as well as the Keith's, as she beats DEVIL Karube for the 5SSW title. - Rocky Golden is out for a month with an arm injury. - Nigel Svensson makes his GCG debut, and beats Runaway Train in the opener. - Black Eagle re-signs with DAVE. - SOTBPW have another A, as Gino and Demonico go to a no contest. - Duane Stone gets his NOTBPW title back from RK Hayes. - Gabriela Ortega poses nude, and gets a huge popularity boost. She currently works for MPWF. Week 3 - Bryan Vessey's PGHW deal is up for renewal, could TCW leap in and take him back? - NOTBPW are letting Mammoth go. At 46, he ain't improving any time soon. - Tommy Cornell carries Steve Frehley to an A grade match on TCW's TV show. - The Canadian Nikki Power beats Kiko for the 5SSW All-Asian title. - CZCW are letting Jeremiah Moose go, possibly because he was Jimmy Foxx's opponent when he got badly hurt. - Squeeky McClean beats Jack Giedroyc to win the North American title. - Vessey is staying with PGHW. - Nikki Power's reign didn't last long, she drops the All-Asian title on her first defence, to Joanne Rodriguez. - Spyder Yakuta, formerly of BHOTWG, beats Arjen to win the GCG Openweight championship. Roy Edison is already challenging for the world title, although he lost in the main event to Miyazaki. Week 4 - Tommy Cornell gets an A grade out of BLZ Bubb, which is between turning water to wine and resurrecting the dead on the list of miracles. - Nakadan and Hiroyuki, The Bomb Squad, win their third 5SSW tag titles, beating Hatoyama and Gorgon. - DAVE are apparently looking to hire some new workers now that Century and The Captain are gone. - SUKI ends Spyder Yakuta's stunningly short reign as GCG Openweight champion. SUKI looks like he is finally getting the push his talents deserve. - GCG continue the theme of giving new blood a chance, as Takayuki 2000 finally gets elevated to GCG stardom with a world title win over Shingen Miyazaki in the main event of the same show. He has now completed the GCG Triple Crown. - Hugh de Aske enters wrestling. - TCW's latest PPV is their best ever show. Frehley beats Eddie Peak in a B+ main event, following BLZ Bubb and Cornell beating RDJ and Jack Griffith in an A grade bout. The preceding eight matches are all Bs. - 5SSW end their tour. - EEWW are no longer in debt, but 21CW have fallen into that trap, seemingly unable to cope with the demands of PPV and two live TV shows.

October 2009 Week 1 - TCW sign Sean McFly. - Elemental II regains the BHOTWG Junior title. He is now a ten time champion. - USPW re-sign Primus Allen, who is starting to pick up momentum as a worker - he currently is working for three different promotions. - Insane Machine, who hasn't been in the news for a while, will be on PGHW's next tour. - Sean McFly makes his TCW debut with a title shot against Steve Frehley, but loses. It was a B+ match. At least Sean is back in the main events, rather than the NOTBPW midcard. - BLZ Bubb beats Genghis Rahn for the TCW International title. McFly's signing has shunted Bubb down to the Upper Midcard. - Jumbo Shrimp and Steve Flash team up to beat Decimation (Land Mass and The Masked Mauler) for the NYCW tag team titles. An interesting note is that NYCW's tag division also features a blast from the past; The Ace Express of Johnny Martin and Rick Sanders have reformed. Week 2 - Frehley beats McFly again, and it's another B+. The first ever meeting of McFly and Cornell will have to wait... - DAVE sign up Hugh de Aske, two weeks after he entered the game world. - Enforcer Roberts will be touring with PGHW next month. - Greg Gauge has signed an extension with GCG. He is already up to the status of Midcarder with them. - Black Eagle and Jesus Chavez (who is becoming a bit of a star) have begun a heated backstage rivalry in DAVE. - Runaway Train gets his first win on Japanese soil, beating Nigel Svensson. Later in the show, SWF head booker Larry Wood and his partner Masutaro Kataoka lose the GCG tag titles to Nathan Coleman and "Sick Note" Mamoru Nagahama, who are now two time champs. - Adam Matravers is out for a month with a minor knee injury. Week 3 - RK Hayes is out for a year with a big concussion. - Champagne Lover and Axxis get another A grade. - SWF's roster is so low on genuine talent that Frederique Anton Garcia is now a proper main eventer. He beats Joe Sexy in their latest TV show. - The Darkness Warriors beat Murder Inc. (Rick Law & Eddie Peak) for the TCW tag titles. They are now three time tag team champions. - Over in BHOTWG, Samoan Machine gets the biggest singles win of his career, defeating Toshiharu Hyobanshi. - NOTBPW sign ex-TCW man Wolf Hawkins to add to their midcard. - Nate Johnson rejects 4C's latest offer, and is off. - Shooter Sean Deeley takes the NOTBPW Unlimited Action title off Davis Wayne Newton. DWN is up to the Upper Midcard now. - Joe Sexy beats fellow SWFer Robbie Retro to win the CGC Canadian title. Week 4 - The first ever Cornell vs McFly happens on TCW TV. Sean gets the win, and it's the first A* match we've had in quite a while. - Awesome Thunder wins his ninth WLW title, beating Emerald Angel. - Nate Johnson finally succumbs, and signs for NOTBPW. He'll reform the awesome tag team The Specialists with Bobby Thomas once more. - Bruiser loses the MOSC Blood and Beer title to Geordie Jimmy Morris. On the same show, Monkey Business lose their tag titles to Team Iron, Jamie Anderson and Jeffrey McPeterson. - Kenko Takemitsu, former NOTBPW job boy, wins the BHOTWG Openweight title from Yuki Horigoshi. He is already one half of the Junior tag champs. - MAW crown a new champion, with Paul Steadyfast's epic 21-defence reign ended by the future mega-star Des Davids. - TCW hit an A grade show, with back-to-back A grade matches the reason; Jack Griffith beats Tommy Cornell in the main event, while Sean McFly beats Wrestling Machine #2 in the other. Hiring Sean McFly has been a fantastic move for the promotion, and shows how badly NOTBPW were mistreating him. If it wasn't for his midcard stint with NOTBPW dragging his overall rating down, McFly would probably be top contender for the wrestler of the year award again. - Ekuma The Hawaiian Strong Man, Sally Anne Christianson and El Orgulloso all enter wrestling. - TCW finish the month with another A grade match, as Cornell and RDJ team up to beat Griffith and McFly. What a fortnight for Sean! - Remo changes to a Brawler approach from Regular Wrestler. He is the last of the SWF guys to remain under a written contract, as he signed his extension right before their problems began. - EEWW are back in financial trouble. - GCG end their tour. November 2009 Week 1 - Hollywood Bret Starr has been signed by MAW, and makes his debut with a win over Curtis Jenkins. - JD Morgan beats Shawn Gonzalez for the DAVE Brass Knuckles title. He is now a three time champion. - Axxis beats Champagne Lover to become a three time SOTBPW champion. - The Rebellion lose the BHOTWG tag team titles to Chuichi Sanda and Jimmy Cox. - Kunomasu and Buddy Garner win the Elite tag team series, beating the tag champs Koiso & Kawashima in the final. They also beat Inukai and Mushashibo in the first round, the former five time winners. - Raven Nightfall beats Vixxen for the AAA Top Contender's title, completing a mad two days of title changes. - Geordie Jimmy drops the MOSC Blood and Beer title right back to Bruiser. - OLLIE and USPW have new TV shows coming up. - EEWW rise to Regional size. - Ryu Kajahara and Larry Wood are the odd-couple who have just won the WLW tag titles. - Enygma, Cameron Vessey and Big Cat Brandon are all going on tour with GCG. Vessey is doing far more work in the East than he is in the US. - DAVE sign Lobster Warrior. - The Specialists have their first match together in ages, as Nate Johnson makes his NOTBPW debut. They lose to Dan and Jeremy Stone. Week 2 - Joey Minnesota wins the International title off BLZ Bubb. - Jack Griffith and Cornell get an A grade match. Tommy is actually probably closing in on wrestler of the year himself now. - Bart Biggz is leaving CZCW. - Sean and Tommy put on another A* match, as TCW apparently enter a "golden era" of fantastic shows. - DAVE book an interesting match, as The Biggz Boyz fight each other. Bart wins. - Incidentally, TCW's recent run of form has dragged them up to B grades in the entire of North America, pulling them further away from NOTBPW, who had been getting closer recently, despite a run of pretty mediocre shows. - Have PGHW hit a problem period? They've held four shows of the new tour, and haven't even got an A, let alone matched the Cornell vs McFly series' two A*s. - Over in TCW, Jack Griffith, who has quietly become one of the best workers in the entire world, wins the TCW world title from Steve Frehley. - Raul Hughes beats Okazaki for the INSPIRE title, becoming the first man ever to regain the championship. - PGHW bring out the big guns and still can't break past the B+ mark; they main event with Mushashibo, Kunomasu and Inukai beating Miwa, Garner and Tatsuko. - Lobster Warrior debuts for DAVE with a loss to Scout. - Eddie Chandler and The Insane Heat finally lose the NOTBPW tag titles, beaten by Art Reed and Mighty Cavanagh. - California Love Machine beats Fox Mask for the RIPW title. - NOTBPW finally bring the goods; Dan Stone beats Johnny Bloodstone and gets an A grade. The company has really been suffering since Dan and Jeremy became a regular tag team again and dropped into the midcard regions. - Joss Thompson wins the vacant CGC world title, beating Jack DeColt. Nate Johnson was the former champion. Week 3 - PGHW finally get an A, and it's that man Mushashibo beating Inukai for the PGHW Glory Crown, his sixth. - Funnily enough, on the same day that PGHW crown a new champion, so do BHOTWG; Taira beats Horri for his third reign. - Over in MPWF, Greg Gauge takes a break from his Japanese exploits to beat Asiatico for the secondary Lucha title. Strangely, it was Asiatico's tag partner Europea who was beaten when Greg's brother Matthew won the world title a while ago. That's Greg's first ever pro title. - Perhaps seeing the A PGHW got, Sean McFly and Wrestling Machine #2 pull out one too. - The Cornell family adds another title to their collective resumes: Edward Cornell wins the EEWW world title off Petey Barnes. - Silver Shark is the surprise new BHOTWG Junior champ, beating Elemental II. - The McFly Cornell series gets another A*, from two guys who clearly have major chemistry on top of their already amazing skills. - Mushashibo and Miwa do an A grade match. Nice try lads, but you're being out-shined at the moment. - Kid Toma joins NYCW. Week 4 - Joe Sexy beats Nomad for the 4C title. He's a sexy title-winning machine at the moment. - The Tag Team Specialists beat The Darkness Warriors for the TCW tag straps. - In really sad news, the career of Haruki "Hooded" Kudo might be over. He has shattered his knee, and is out for thirteen months. Even if this doesn't retire him, he'll be 47 by the time he returns to action. - Ryu Kajahara wins the WLW Street Fighting title again, beating Insane Machine. - Henry Lee may be joining Kudo in potential retirement; a spinal injury has ruled him out for over a year, and given how beat up he was to begin with, that's not good news. - Crisis over for PGHW, they're turning out A grade matches on a regular basis now, thanks to Yoshimi. - TCW are letting Steve Gumble go. Thankfully, as I don't think I could take him winning the All Action belt any more times. - Oleg Dorosklov enters wrestling. - Hell Monkey turns from Puro Style to Super Junior, perhaps looking to win the BHOTWG Junior belt given that he works for them at the moment. - INSPIRE, WLW, EEWW and BHOTWG all end their tours. - 21CW announce that they have one month left before they close. Given that they're $350k in debt, I don't see them pulling this one out of the fire like GCG so memorably did. That'll leave the UK scene having gone full circle; once again, MOSC will be the only game in town. - If you were wondering how Skull DeBones did in WLW, he lost more than he won, and was averaging a D grade. - Sam Keith actually only managed one match for INSPIRE throughout the entire tour, as their shows clashed with SWFs most of the time. He lost that match, to Arjen Van Den Leyne. Sadly his tour didn't coincide with either of his sons, who have toured there in the past, so we didn't get to see a father vs son shoot fight. I think Keith only needs to now work for GCG to have worked for every Japanese promotion available. December 2009 Week 1 - Well, it's the final month, and the wrestler of the year award looks to be between the past two winners Mushashibo and McFly, and McFly's buddy Tommy Cornell. Yoshimi has a big advantage, as Sean has the baggage of six months in the NOTBPW midcard tainting his record, while Tommy was having to carry BLZ Bubb and Genghis Rahn for the first half of the year. What should be very interesting is the five wrestlers at the head of the Top 100 list; 2008 saw a clean sweep for PGHW, but this year they're going to get strong competition from the TCW trio of McFly, Cornell and Griffith, plus the the four Stone boys (Dan, Jeremy, Duane, Edd) and Johnny Bloodstone. It'll be a fascinating end result. - Inukai ends a very short Mushashibo PGHW title reign, beating him in a B+ match. Yoshimi only managed three defences. - A bit of a disaster for TCW; Jack Griffith shatters his elbow in a match with Wrestling Machine #2, and is out for fourteen months. That's the first time ever that the TCW world title's lineage has been broken. - Machine #1 and McFly pull out an A grade match. - Aaron Andrews is only 58 days from returning to action by the way. - Takayuki 2000 only lasts for six defences as GCG champion, dropping it to Hiroyasu Gakusha, who is now a three-time champion. - Roy Edison, ex-shoot fighter, unsurprisingly joins INSPIRE for their next tour. - TCW take the unusual step of putting BLZ Bubb back in the main event, and having him win the world title by beating Eddie Peak. - Championa is the new MHW champion, beating Angel De Mexico. - Genocide Agent is out for two months with an arm injury. - Jeremiah Moose, perhaps depressed at being kicked out of CZCW, overdoses. Like MYSTIC Dragon before him, it destroys his skills and leaves him virtually unemployable. Week 2 - Matericco drops the OLLIE title to Phoenix I. On the same show, Dos Phoenix win the tag titles off Los Dominguez. Good day to be a Phoenix. - Johnny Martin wins the NYCW title, beating American Machine. - Cornell and Peak get another A. Bubb beats McFly in his first defence, but only gets a B. - Sam Keith gets the SWF North American title back off Squeeky McClean. - Bruce The Giant beats Christian Faith for the SWF world title. - The Samoan Wildboyz beat the Mega Men for the SWF tag titles. That's all three major SWF titles changing hands within two days. - Mushashibo is dragged to his worst match in ages, a B-, by Billy Russell. - Nagahama & Coleman drop the GCG tag titles to the shoot fight pairing of Arjen Van Den Leyne and Roy Edison. - CZCW hire Ekuma The Hawaiian Strong Man. - Matthew Gauge will be touring with WLW. - Oleg Dorosklov is touring with INSPIRE. - Shawn Gonzalez will be leaving NYCW, and thus his head booker post. - Electo is the new MPWF champion, winning the title that Atlantis vacated when he left. - Davis Wayne Newton regains the NOTBPW UA title from Shooter Sean. - SWF are letting Jumbo Shrimp leave. Week 3 - TCW start the week with a great show; Frehley beats Cornell for an A, following Machine #1 beating McFly in another A*. Just to make the race for wrestler of the year more exciting, Billy Russell (who may secretly be working for McFly) drags Mushashibo to a C+. - Frehley and McFly team up to beat RDJ and Cornell and grab another A. - It had to happen sooner or later; Scout, who has becoming more and more in-demand (especially in Japan), turns down DAVE's contract offer and will be leaving. - Puerto Rican Power and Joss Thompson combine to win the USPW tag titles from Sgt. Bubba and Danny Rushmore. - Jack DeColt becomes a five-time CGC champ, beating Joss Thompson. - Kurt Laramee and Sam Keith are backstage enemies in SWF. Thankfully for Kurt, Sam no longer books the promotion. - Yoshimi is back on the A trail, beating Tatsuko. - In MPWF, three former Future Workers win their first titles; Arthur Dexter Bradley, Nathaniel Ca$ino and Ultra Atlantis team up to beat Ultimate Phoenix, El Guardiano and Rudy Relasquez for the six man titles. Week 4 - Machine #1 and McFly get another A. - One day later, McFly and Cornell put on another A*. Four out of their five singles matches have now been A* rated. - Texas Pete's contract is up for renewal in TCW, unfortunately they seem to want to keep the big goof. - Apparently Reese Paige and Tank Bradley of DAVE have started dating. Those are going to be some ugly kids if they hook up. - Yoshimi ends the year with an A grade match with Buddy Garner. - 21CW go out of business, as predicted. - Bam Bam's brother Hercules Johansson enters wrestling. - EEWW are back in financial trouble. For the third time. - PGHW end their latest tour. Top 25 Wrestlers Of 2009 1. Tommy Cornell 2. Nobuatsu Tatsuko 3. Shuji Inukai 4. Axxis Jr 5. Mito Miwa 6. Sean McFly 7. Soul Taker 8. January 2010 Week 1 - Well, if you're going to start a new year, do it right; NOTBPW headline their first show with an A, as Dan and Jeremy beat TNT (Chandler and The Insane Heat) - Chris Caulfield starts the year by winning the DAVE Brass Knuckles title, beating JD Morgan and Vin Tanner in a triangle match. - SAISHO rise to Regional size. - Crusher Ichihara beats Alicia Strong to become a nine time 5SSW champion.
