If he won't re-sign at all, you'll have to wait 6 months before you can bring him back. You might want to check your profile to see if it generated a relationship. If he has a 'strong dislike' to you, he may not want to talk to you at all (until he hits the skids and needs to talk to you so he can fill 'is belly on a nightly basis).
