TravisL
Want to ditch a worker but want to possibly re-sign them later without having to wait six months? Here's how! Go into the editor and edit their contract to 28 days remaining, enough time to negotiate a new contract. Then negotiate a short term contract with one appearance. Have them job or something for this appearance, and their gone. Then try to re-sign them. You'll notice a contract negotiation screen. ;)
Grudge
or you could just edit their contract to a lifetime contract and never lose them? but that would be cheating.
TravisL
Not what I was saying, this is a cheat if you need to make budget cuts but wish to resign them later as I know some wanted to.

mitsukaikira
Yeah, it's more an exploit than a cheat.
TravisL
You don't have to use the editor, you can just wait for the negotiation period if you wish. Figured I'd point this out for those interested.
SageFury268
Thanks. that 6 month delay always seemed unnessasary to me.

If you're going to cheat you might as well go for the gusto, I say!
BrokenCycle
Thanks. that 6 month delay always seemed unnessasary to me.
6 months isn't a long time at all, and it's pretty generous. If you're a small promotion, then 6 months should come by rather quickly and if you're a bigger promotion and wanted to keep that guy that you just lost because you didn't re-sign him, then it's your own stupid fault. TravisL
This is also effective for workers you want to send to a development territory.
