"It's Good to Be the Queen" - Queen Emily and National Pro Wrestling

Recommended Posts

February 2006 "You've seen the private investigator reports, Rich... You've seen the three complaints that were submitted by various past women you had working for you, not only as valets, but here in the office as well. Your son's roving hands and eyes have caused a hostile work environment. You know as well as I do that if I was to file a formal sexual harassment complaint, we could take you for millions, if not tens of millions." The woman's voice softened slightly, with a touch of fondness for the spluttering man across the desk from her, that belied the damning information in the folder she had handed him several hours ago. "But the last few years were some of the best of my life. I don't want to bankrupt SWF, not after spending so much time here. So I'll make you an offer, Rich. Cut me a final check, and we'll just tell the dirtsheets and anyone who asks that we weren't able to reach a deal to continue working together, and we both wish each other all the best in our future endeavors. In return, I will sign a contractual obligation to not work for TCW for five years... and will give you what you want, a no-compete for the rest of the year. By the time 2007 comes around, there won't be any furor about why I left." Rich Eisen did like the woman sitting across his desk, but personal feelings NEVER got in the way of doing business. He silently cursed the day that his son Michael had so firmly turned the woman against his company, and wondered if he could get away with sending Mike to train in Rhode Island, and tell the trainers to give him a few old-school lessons on why you didn't upset the applecart. Then again, he grimaced. he'd probably turn out like Eric, and have a knack for the business and that's all we need. A raging womanizer who can't take no for an answer and has the physical ability to back up his demands. But as his mind raced, he saw no way that he could get away from doing the right thing without acceding to her demands, and he shrugged. "Fine, Emily. I agree. You sign an agreement that you will not file the hostile workplace and sexual harassment charges against SWF, and the 5 year no-compete with TCW, and a 2006 No-Compete, in general, and in return you'll get that last check." The settlement was going to cost him almost a million dollars, and he swore that he'd find a way to deduct it from the share of his estate that would go to Michael when he eventually passed on, but the main thing was to keep his company out from underneath the microscope that such a complaint would bring. The media vultures and the lying hypocrites would love to see an opportunity to tear down SWF... Trying to relax, he forced a smile, and asked "So, now that you've got what you want, tell me, between friends.. what are you going to do once you're free of the no-compete at the end of the year? You don't seem to be the type of person who would deal well with those neanderthals at DaVE.. I hear USPW is looking for new blood with the rumors that Strong is going to purchase them... you going to sign on with them?" The woman smiled, this time a genuine one. "I honestly don't know, Rich. I have a few ideas, I definitely want to keep my hand in the business so to speak..."

October 2006: Emily turned on her computer and started scanning the business sites. She had socked nearly three quarters of her settlement with SWF away in a combination of careful investments, which if they grew as expected, would pretty much assure her a comfortable lifestyle going forward. Her IM chimed a waiting message, and her brow furrowed. Since she had unofficially left the business nearly 8 months previously, she had received a lot of IM's asking her why she had left, what was going on, etcetera. She did her best to assuage the curiosity of her fellow co-workers while trying not to cause controversey at her old job. She still received IM's to see how she was doing, but with the company touring overseas in Australia, she wasn't expecting anything at this time of day.. why, it must be the middle of the night over there. She opened her IM program.. EasyEEisen: Em.. you around? QueenofAllSheSurveys: Yeah, just researching some stock stuff. You're up late.. rough show over there? EasyEEisen: You haven't seen this week's Pro Wrestling Flame column, have you? QueenofAllSheSurveys: No.. something wrong? EasyEEisen: Get something strong to drink beforehand. You're not gonna like it. We just got it faxed over to us over here from the office and Dad wanted me to contact you over it. Well.. that was certainly not good news, whatever it was. She opened up another window, and headed to the Pro Wrestling Flame site. It was your typical dirtsheet, it was reliable enough that wrestlers would feed it damaging info from time to time, but still had an annoying tendency to veer into sensationalism. She had an account there, under a friend's name (she wasn't about to let the dirtsheet get any credibilty or consider her accessing their stuff an endorsement of the stuff within) and she logged in.. The story was entitled: The Flame burns away the tissues of Lies regarding Queen Emily's firing.. Firing? She mouthed incredulouly, and shook her head. She certainly hoped that the rest of the story was more accurate then the lead... It wasn't...

The Flame burns away the tissues of lies regarding Queen Emily's firing By Robert Royster, Flame Chief Correspondent. A source high in SWF's hierarchy has contacted the Flame to provide exclusive information on the departure of Queen Emily from SWF earlier this year. The agreement had been described as a simple contract dispute, that the two sides could not come to an agreement, and decided to come to an amicable departure of Queen Emily from her position as a Color Commentator on SWF events. However, the highly ranked source at SWF's headquarters indicated that the sticking point of the negotiations was that Emily wanted a lot more power with regards to which wrestlers got air time, and wanted a lot bigger say in what the company would be doing, going forward. "She actually was running her mouth off, backstage a couple of shows before she departed, saying that she was going to be running the show and that if they were either with her, or against her." The source claimed. The source added that there was rumors, not confirmed, that she had attempted to demand sexual favors of some of the younger wrestlers, or they would be fired when she took over. "When Rich (Eisen, SWF's owner) told her flatly that she wasn't going to get a place on the booking committee, but he was willing to offer her a generous raise as a color commentator, she flipped out." the source said, "Security had to be called to escort Emily from the building. She was cursing up a storm, said she'd ruin Eisen by any means necessary". The source says that Emily immediately tried to negotiating with Tommy Cornell's TCW, purporting a story that she had been sexually harassed, but that "They saw through it, and realized what a headache she would be.", again according to the source. While not confirmation, the fact that Emily has not signed with any of the big wrestling federations may lend credence to the tale. "Would she be welcomed back to SWF? I guess so. She is one of the best color commentators in the business, but she'd definitely need an attitude change to have any chance with the Powers that Be. Otherwise, she's just an Atom Bomb waiting to destroy any company she worked with."

It took Emily a couple minutes to absorb the article. QueenofAllSheSurveys: I assume because you warned me about it, and you're not waiting for my lawyers to sue your father, that you and your Dad have nothing to do with it? EasyEEisen: Hell no. Dad told me privately with what happened. You should've come to me, Em. I would have knocked Mike's idiot head clean off his shoulders for you. QueenofAllSheSurveys: *sighs* water under the bridge, Eric. What happens next? EasyEEisen: Dad's already gone to the other dirtsheets and told them that if they repeat word 1 of what's in that piece of crap article, then they'll face a dual lawsuit for libel and defamation of character from both you and SWF. Also, any worker who talks to the Flame from now on will be fired on the spot. QueenofAllSheSurveys: That's a decent start. EasyEEisen: Plus.. well.. the one story the Flame WILL get will be that Mike has accepted a job as a combination road agent and trainee down at RIPW. Dad seems to think that a year or two of learning the business, combined with getting stretched and stiffed will teach him a lesson. QueenofAllSheSurveys: Oh.. that ought to be interesting. In the "May you live in Interesting times" kinda way. EasyEEisen: Anyway, have to go and get some sleep. Can't wait to hear what you're gonna do after the first of the year. QueenofAllSheSurveys: Hmm.. can you keep a secret? EasyEEisen: No, but tell me anyway (grin) QueenofAllSheSurveys: You are still a brat! EasyEEisen: Yeah, so? QueenofAllSheSurveys: Incorrigible. That's what you are. Anyway.. I've found some guys who want to run a new Northeast fed, and to be a minority owner and the gal with the power.. I think they just want a tax break, but who knows. Your dad did teach me a lot about the business! EasyEEisen No ****? QueenofAllSheSurveys: No ****. EasyEEisen: Excellent! QueenofAllSheSurveys: It's not gonna start up till the first of the year, so I don't piss off your dad, but I can't wait. EasyEEisen:Awesome. I wish you were coming back, but this is almost as good. Hey, as a friend of the owner, I get free passes whenever I want, right? QueenofAllSheSurveys: Of course. Just check with your dad, I don't want him thinking I'm trying to steal you away from SWF. EasyEEisen: Hah! The day I thought about jumping to another fed, I'd be written out of the will. Night! QueenofAllSheSurveys: Night, Eric!

The WrestleWatch - January 1st, 2007 Queen Emily's Return to the Wrestling Biz... National Pro Wrestling formed The new year brings with it a new federation. Emily Donovan, known worldwide as Queen Emily, SWF's color commentator between 2002 and 2006, announced that she would be the business head of National Pro Wrestling. Donovan seemingly left the business in February of 2006, when she could not come to a renewal of contract terms with SWF, in which other sites attempted to classify as a power struggle, rumors of which were firmly quashed by Rich Eisen as wrong and completely without fact. The fact that NPW is starting on January 1st is leading wrestling industry observers that as part of Donovan's departure from SWF, she had signed a no-compete for 2006, and became free of the no-compete clause with the dawning of the new year. Donovan has announced that NPW would be featuring some of the fastest paced, action packed wrestling around. "There's room for all kinds of wrestling in today's business", she uttered at the NPW press conference, held at the stroke of midnight. "We've contacted several wrestlers, and asked them to be our core of the future. We're waiting to hear back from them, and hope to announce our roster shortly." While they would not set a date for their first show, wrestling industry insiders expect it to be within the month of January. National Pro Wrestling will base itself out of Massachusetts, long known as a wrestling hotbed. It will be interesting to see if SWF considers that a challenge to their developmental federation, Rhode Island Pro Wrestling.

That's where I came in. My name is Todd Garon. I could tell you all about me, but then again, you'd get bored. National Pro Wrestling put out an ad offering a "Mangement Position". Luckily for me, I was perusing the want ads (I was between jobs, and actively looking (having college loans staring you in the face made reading the want ads a must). I managed to make an appointment for the next day. I tell you what, Emily Donovan can be a hard-ass on TV, but don't you let that fool you. She's even scarier in person. She quizzed me about what I would do if she deigned to let me book her new federation. I told her that depends. She wasn't expecting that, I think. "Depends, on what? How much I pay you? What I want you to do?" she asked, with the charactistic sneer that she made famous on TV. "The 2nd part, a bit. But I can't tell you how I would book ANYTHING unless I have more info. For example. Who do we have on the roster. More importantly, who do we have on the roster that we can AFFORD to use? If I have big, muscle bound guys, that's one thing. If I have a bunch of speedsters and aerial experts, then we do it differently." She nodded, and spoke again, "So what you're saying is, until I hire you, you can't tell me what the hell you can do, huh?" I shrugged my shoulders. "You know better then I do, that anyone who think that one size fits all in wrestling is a fool." She smiled, suddenly. I think that was scarier then the sneer. "Good answer. I'll tell you what. I'm gonna give you a pretty open hand with the book. I might put some restrictions on you.. a lot depends on how the discussions go with the sponsors. I'll set clear goals for you to follow, and I expect you to make them. How about the following. I'll pay you a living wage to run the booking side of NPW, and then we'll come to a deal once you make it profitable." Well, it wasn't going to do anything with regards to my college loans any time soon, but who could resist?

The next week was pure hell. We must have tried about 150 phone #'s for various independent wrestlers around the nation, trying to get them on board. In most cases, Emily did the speaking.. in a few cases I did the speaking. She let me know that after this first batch of folks, that her hiring policies were going to be fairly restrictive. She wanted the most athletic wrestlers she could find (B-), and she did not want folks thinking this was a retirement home for wrestlers (None over 42, although I don't think many 42+ year old folks have a B- or better for athleticism) We also had an unspoken agreement that we had a soft cap of $1,000/appearance for our workers to start. We had enough money in the bank to last a while, but it would help keep our losses low to start. In one or two occasions, we went SLIGHTLY over the cap ($1025-$1050 ish), but if someone wanted $1250 to show up, we moved on. But a week later, we had our roster with how their proposed pushes: Main Event: Jungle Jack (Face) Fox Mask (Face) Ultimate Phoenix (Face) Larry Wood (Heel) "Dangerous" Dan Douglas (Heel) Air Attack Weasel (Heel) Upper Midcard Ace Youngblood (Face) Remmy Skye (Face) Frankie Perez (Face) Snap Dragon (Heel) Mario Heroic (Heel) Roderick Remus (Heel) Midcard William Hayes (Heel) Oscar Golden (Heel) Flash Savage (Heel) Harry Wilson (Heel) Ricky Turner (Heel) Jerry Martin (Face) K-Squared (Face) Trent Shaffer (Face) Kashmir Singh (Face) Lower Midcard Valentine (Heel) Thomas Morgan (Heel) Zeus Maximillion (Heel) Rolling Johnny Stones (Face) Phenomenal E (Face) Opener Nomad (Heel) Joey Beauchamp (Heel) UK Dragon (Face) Enhancement Huey Cannonball (Heel) Tempest Appleby (Heel) Managers Karen Killer (of Zeus Maximillion) - Heel Jenny Playmate (of several, she will lead a stable) - Heel Persephone (of Rolling Johnny Stones) - Face Referee: RM Stones Announcer: Marv Earnest Color Commentator: Queen Emily (the Boss) Road Agent: Todd Garon (me)

NPW Weekly Super Show From The Den In Boston, MA: ATT: 1,974 Also available via downloadable video from NatProWrestling.Com Dark Show Matches Mario Heroic defeated Kashmir Singh at 8:25 after a Hero Attack (C-) Larry Wood defeated Fox Mask at 7:38 after a running Big Boot (C-) Main Card: Queen Emily came out and soaked up the cheers, making her triumphant return, just before the cameras went live. She then took her place at the announcing table next to Marv Earnest. The Golden Boys defeated The Graduates at 10:32 when Flash Savage made K-Squared tap out to a Canadian Crab (D) Jenny Playmate came out: She was investing in NPW from the ground floor up, and that meant taking over NOW. She called out Jungle Jack.. who came out to a solid amount of Cheers, and told him "Jack.. you can be the next big thing in this business. You have power, agility, and that certain quality that even makes this Playmate a little weak in the knees. But you see.. if you're not with me, you're against me, and just like I can build you up? I can tear you down. What's it gonna be Jack?" Jungle Jack, thought about it, then just had one simple word for Jenny and her schemes. NO! Having given his answer, Jungle Jack stalked back to the curtain, ignoring Jenny's entreaties to reconsider. She then became VERY angry.. (D for the offer, E+ for Jack's Refusal) Remmy Skye became the first No Limits champion, defeating Roderick Remus at 15:54 when he retreived the item from the ladder. This match was not great, it dragged in the middle, and Remmy was really off his game, which was a shame, as this match was specifically made for him (he's known as the King of the Ladder Match) (D-) Frankie Perez defeated Snap Dragon at 7:01 after a Perfect Parity (C-) In the Semi-Main Event: Ultimate Phoenix defeated Air Attack Weasel after a good match, the end came at 14:39 when Phoenix hit the Phoenix Firebird Splash. After the match, Jenny Playmate came out and spoke urgently into Air Attack Weasel's ear, and he nodded. What is that vixen up to? (C) In the Main Event, Dangerous Dan Douglas came to the ring, and kissed Jenny Playmate on the cheek, and she stayed ion his corner for the match. Apparently since Jack had rejected her, she had signed on for the other team! Jungle Jack came out, and the two had a pretty good match The end came after a Jack Powerbomb, Jenny Playmate went up on the apron to try to distract the ref, and she got a little more then she could handle, as Jack pulled her into the ring! Before Jack could set up for a powerbomb that would break the Playmate in half, he became aware of someone behind him.. and he turned, and as the ref tried to roll a shrieking Jenny Playmate out of the ring, Air Attack Weasel creased Jack's skull with a chairshot that KO'd the big man! Douglas slowly revived as the ref finally got Jenny out of the ring, and hooked Jack's leg... 1...2....3! A moment of indecision had cost Jack the title. (Time 17:58, Dangerous Dan Douglas is the new NPW World Title Holder, Rated C) Jenny Playmate called her boys into the ring, and she spent a couple minutes extoling the virtues of both of them, She ended with a promise that NEXT week, there would be two MORE members of her new group.. The name of the group? Futureshock. (D-) Final Rating: D (More angles/interviews wanted, More storylines wanted)

"This is a rough time for the wrestling biz, Kid" Emily sighed as she looked over the information she had gathered. "Yeah, I knew we were in a down turn, but this is ridiculous. We're definitely not going to get huge fast." I replied. "Well, all we have to do is keep it on the straight and narrow until this economy gets better and the wrestling biz becomes popular again. So.. what are we going to do next week?" "Well.. what I figured was.." (Sheesh, we have to be near the bottom of this bust cycle, the Economy in the US is E- and falling, the Wrestling Industry is F (and Falling!!!), Canada's right behind us on the slide (E Economy and falling, E+ Industry and falling), and the industry in Mexico is better, even if the economy isn't (E-/Falling and B/Falling). Over in Japan, the good news is the Economy is C+ (even though it's falling), and the industry is B and rising. Maybe I shoulda looked for a job over there...)

NPW Weekly Super Show Week 3 January Look out, Futureshock, Jack's gonna get ya! After the end of last week's debut showm Jenny Playmate showed that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, as her new beau, "Dangerous" Dan Douglas scored a victory over Jungle Jack to win the NPW World Title, but he needed the help of Air Attack Weasel (and more specifically, a steel chair) to do so. Remember that old line from TV, "you wouldn't like me when I'm angry"? Jack's angry. Look out Futureshock. In the Main Event, Dangerous Dan Douglas's title reign may be cut short, as he takes on high-flying Ultimate Phoenix for the NPW World Title! Can the 17 year old phenom keep Ultimate Phoenix grounded? In the Semi-Main event, it's a Jack Attack, as Jungle Jack will take on the man who directly cost him that NPW World Title, as Jungle Jack takes on Air Attack Weasel, in a Falls Count Anywhere match. It's nowhere to run and nowhere to hide for the Loose Cannon! The third of NPW's titles will be decided, as it's a four way Tag Team Match for the NPW Tag gold, as Double Dragon (Snap and UK) will take on the Graduates, the Golden Boys, and the team of Kashmir Singh and Remmy Skye! All this and more, comin your way....
Sounds good, SirFozzie. I'll definitely be reading.
Glad to hear Rob. Better give you something to read then! From the War Memorial Auditorium in the Mid-West Att:1,957 and downloadable from NPW's website! National Pro Wrestling Weekly, Week 3 (Wed), January Pre-Show: Jenny Playmate comes out, and starts bragging about how "her boys in the back took care of that savage Jungle Jack".. Um.. when you're taunting someone, especially someone as big and as angry as Jack, try to do it from somewhere safe. Like behind three inches of armor plating. Jack came running out, and Jenny Playmate ran for her life, Jack pursuing her through the curtain... and then flying back out as Air Attack Weasel and Dangerous Dan Douglas were waiting. They beat down Jack again, and posed, this time with Jenny Playmate STANDING on Jack's back! (E+, both Air and Jack got a bonus to performance skill) Frankie Perez defeated Mario Heroic at 5:52 with a Perfect Parity (C, announcing brought it down, not enough selling, but still a C) Zeus Maximillion (w/Karen Killer) defeated Rolling Johnny Stones (w/Persephone) at 6:37 after a Thunder Bolt. (D, the two just did not click, and the bickering on the outside of the two managers couldn't keep the fans distracted) Main Show: Tag Title Match: The Golden Boys defeated Kashmir Singh and Remmy Skye, Snap Dragon and UK Dragon and The Graduates in 12:45; the order of elimination was Snap Dragon and UK Dragon first, then The Graduates, and finally Kashmir Singh and Remmy Skye. The Golden Boys win the NPW Tag Team titles. (C-, Flash Savage seemed off his game tonight. Oscar Golden was visibly tiring toward the end. The great performance of Remmy Skye really stood out. The performance of UK Dragon stood out as being good. Kashmir Singh is improving in Technical skills. Snap Dragon is improving in Performance skills. K-Squared is improving in Rumble skills. Trent Shaffer is improving in Flying skills. Bonuses all around!) After the match, as the Golden Boys were posing in the ring with their new titles, they waved to the back, and out came Jenny Playmate. "I told you boys that I was going to take over NPW. Let's see.. I have the NPW World Heavyweight Champion.. I have the NPW World Tag Team Titles. I'd say I'm doing pretty good, huh? (E-, Flash Savage is learning to show more charisma. Flash Savage is developing better performance skills. Oscar Golden is developing better performance skills. ) Jungle Jack had a reason to take on Air Attack Weasel, and they Battle up and down the aisleway and all over the building! Jenny Playmate and her tag duo were summarily thrown out of the ring side area when they attempted to distract Jack, and that gave Jack free reign when they got back to the ring to hit his JUNGLE JACK JAMMER, and the power suplexslam did the deed at 14:31 (D-, Jungle Jack and Air Attack Weasel don't seem to click, and it made for an awkward bout. Air Attack Weasel is improving in Rumble skills..) Fox Mask came out and said that last week, on a non-taped bout, Larry Wood, pinned him cleanly. But under the bright lights, he wanted Larry Wood to come out, and see if he could catch this Fox a second time! Larry Wood came out from the back, and we had an impromptu match! (E+) Fox Mask defeated Larry Wood in 9:55 by pinfall with a Fox Flip Off DDT. (D+, The announcing brought it down slightly..) "Trademark" Thomas Morgan took on Jerry Martin, and again, the crowd was seemingly out of it, but it wasn't THAT bad a match, and after a crucifix bomb, Thomas Morgan was triumphant at 7:41. (D-, yet another pairing that didn't click *sighs* although Morgan did look good) After the match, Morgan got the microphone. "Jerry Martin, tonight you were the first of many to get their ass Trademarked! I'm going to the top, and anybody in my way, better look out!" (E-) The Main Event pitted Ultimate Phoenix against Dangerous Dan Douglas, and after all the insanity earlier in the night, everyone was banned from ringside! Apparently, I just hit the jackpot, because yet again, this was a pairing that just doidn't click, but it was a decent match, with Douglas faking injury after a ref bump, only to low-blow Phoenix and hit the DOUGLAS DRIVER to retain the title at 16:49 (D+) D- (the fans want more intensity and want more danger) Not so good. I dreaded the weekend booking meeting with Emily.

Well, the good news, is I survived the weekend meeting. Queen Emily was as surprised as I was about the amount of matchups that just plain didn't work out there. We did have a downer of a conversation, however. "I like Marv.. he's a great guy. But listen to the fans. He's flubbing moves, he's not familiar with the wrestlers.. I think we really have to replace him.." I said, sadly. Emily shook her head. "I know, but there's maybe one or two guys better then him available, how much can we afford to pay,," "The thing is, the announcer is one of the only folks who affects EVERY match. maybe we can keep him on as a Personality, or an interviewer.." I muttered.. "Yeah, I don't like it, but.. hell, we got enough going against us as is. Go ahead, start looking for a new announcer. I'll let Marv know if and when we find somebody." "There's one thing I'm glad for, at least. I'm glad it's you and not me that's telling him..." "Kid, I lost my first two jobs in this business within six weeks of each other. Marv understands the business, and if we can keep him around doing SOMETHING, he'll appreciate it."

Week 4 January Weekly Super Show: Attendance: 2,000 (SELL OUT), At Pennsylvania Park in Tri-State. Also downloadable from NPW's Website: Dark Match: Ace Youngblood defeated Valentine at 7:36 (E+, Emily did her best to bring this up) Dark Match: Snap Dragon defeated Phenomenal E at 7:49 (D+, Announcing brought it DOWN.. we really need to find a new announcer) Main Show: Remmy Skye made a successful defense of his NO LIMITS title by defeating Ricky Turner at 11:38 with a SKYE DIVER (D-, lack of flow... COME ON Remmy..., although when he was involved he looked good, Skye gets a + to technical and performance) "Rowdy" Roderick Remus beat down Skye to the mat, and held the No Limits title up.. he's gotta EARN that title, however.. (E-) Kashmir Singh defeated Roderick Remus at 13:08 after Skye distracted Remus at ringside. (D+, announcing brought it down.. *sighs*) UK Dragon defeated the Mover from Vancouver, Tempest Appleby, in the best match so far tonight, at 8:57 after a DRAGON DROP (C-, announcing brought it down, Bonus to performance skills for Appleby) Fox Mask came down and announced he was accepting Dangerous Dan Douglas's open challenge tonight. "This fox doesn't run, Douglas!" (E+) The Golden Boys defeated Jerry Martin and Rolling Johnny Stones in 7:29 to retain the tag titles. Savage hit Stones with brass knuckles (supplied by Jenny Playmate at ringside) when the ref wasn't looking and then locked a sleeper on, and Stones did not respond. (D-, boost from Queen Emily, who's working her butt off despite sitting on it. Johnny Stones looked good, and Flash Savage got a bonus to technical skills) However, the joy for Futureshock was VERY short lived, as Jungle Jack came roaring out of the back and just destroyed the Golden Boys. First Flash Savage got kicked into next week, and then Oscar Golden got JUNGLE JACK JAMMERed. Jack roared at ringside.. and then he saw his prey. Jenny Playmate had tried to hide at ringside, and she took off once she saw Jack grinning at her. Jenny hid in a broom closet backstage, and only the fact that Jack was in the next match kept Jack from ripping the door off the hinges! (E- for the destruction of the Golden Boys, E for the chase scene) Jungle Jack came back to the ring, and took out his wrath on Joey Beauchamp, hitting the Jungle Jack-Jammer at 4:55 to end the one sided match (D+, announcing brought it down) Dangerous Dan Douglas made security kept Jungle Jack FAR away from him and Jenny as he came to ringside, and he was on the run for most of the match, as Fox Mask had the best of most of the match, but Fox Mask missed a Flying Leg Drop from the top, and a tired, sore Douglas hit the DOUGLAS DRIVER at 17:47 for the win to retain the title. (D+, announcing down again) (D rating)

The good news is that we sign Rock Downpour to be our new play by Play Guym and Marv Earnest agrees to work as the third man in the booth with Queen Emily. That's a relief. We're gonna run a 2nd show on the 2nd Wed of February. We'll have a shorter, 1 hour Weekly Super Show beforehand, but then an hour and a half event called SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM. The matches signed so far: UK Dragon, Tempest Appleby, "Trademark" Thomas Morgan and K-Squared will face off in a Four Way #1 contender's match. The winner will get a guaranteed shot at the No Limits Champion Remmy Skye will take on Rowdy Roderick Remus in a Ultimate No Limits Match. With the title suspended in the air across a series of wires, anything is possible, and anything goes! Fox Mask has asked Ultimate Phoenix to be his tag team partner, as they go hunting for the Golden Boys and the NPW World Tag Team Championship. Air Attack Weasel will take on the P-Dawg himself, Frankie Perez! In The Main Event.. Dangerous Dan Douglas will take on Jungle Jack for the NPW World Heavyweight Championship... in the confines of a 15 foot high steel cage. Jenny Playmate will be at ringside for her man.. in fact, she'll have the best seat in the house. That's because she'll be inside a small cage at ringside! If Dangerous Dan Douglas wins, Jenny Playmate will get control of Jack's NPW contract. If Jungle Jack wins? He gets the one thing he wants more then anything. A chance to get revenge on Jenny Playmate for five whole minutes, inside the steel cage.

It's one week before the SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM, and we already have 5 matches signed for our show tonight. Frankie Perez will warm up for his Shock to the System Match against Air Attack Weasel by taking on Harry Wilson. Does the Brother of the Dark Angel have some dark magic up his sleeves? All Four wrestlers in the #1 contenders four-way match will be fighting each other, but tonight it's two separate matches, UK Dragon will take on Tempest Appleby, and K-Squared will take on Trademark Thomas Morgan. Mario Heroic takes on Rolling Johnny Stones. In the Main Event, Fox Mask and Ultimate Phoenix will team with Jungle Jack to take on the team they will be facing at Shock to the System, The Golden Boys, and their tag team partner, Air Attack Weasel. We're sure Dangerous Dan Douglas will be at ringside. No doubt that he'll want to see Jack get a beating before their steel cage match at Shock to the System!
