It's the night of Shock to the System, and we have an extra hour and a half to book.. time for some folks who haven't been wrestling in a while to get some time in and see which matchups have that certain something for the future... NPW Weekly Super Show (Attendance after SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM) The opening match saw Trent Shaffer taking on Huey Cannonball. As does most of the roster, they don't click too well (maybe they're all too similar, dunno), but they put on a decent match anyway, and Trent Shaffer came out looking good, not only did he shine in this match, he won at 10:40 after a HEART BURN (D) We signed the brother of the Lone Wolf, Shawn Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez. He's best suited as a heel, but we have a lack of faces in the midcard scene, plus I kinda like his story (he was in prison for five years, and turned to wrestling to keep him off the streets and out of jail). He took on one of the more established wrestlers in Snap Dragon, and wasn't so bad for his first time out, Snap Dragon was the better man tonight, and won the match at 15:08 after a DRAGON'S BREATH Phenomenal E and Nomad haven't had much use in the first few weeks of NPW's life, and maybe that contributed to a not so good match, plus the fact they didn't work too well together, but they did the best they could, and Phenomenal E won the match after a TUMBLEWEED LEGDROP at 13:43 (E+, +Technical for Phenomenal E) In a match that we originally were going to put on Shock to the System, but just ran out of time when booking it, Jerry Martin took on the Arrogant European, Joey Beauchamp, and Jerry definitely felt the breeze, especially when Joey small packaged him and rather BLATANTLY pulled the tights, but referee RM Stones counted the one two, three. But it was a good match, best of the card so far at 13:44 (C-, Joey looked good.) Next up was Ricky Turner and Slick Willie Hayes, and I've come to the decision that should the real world Ric Flair and this worlds Ricky Turner ever come into contact, they will both explode. Why? Because Flair seems to be incapable of having a bad match with anyone, and Turner seems to be incapable of having a good match with anyone. But he tried hard, and Hayes did the best carry job he could (he looked good), and he out-cheated Turner and got the pinfall win at 13:45 In our "main event" (really the final warm up match for Shock to the System), it was the Man from the Mountains, Larry Wood, taking on the Native american Ace Youngblood in a match that was decent, could have been better (Ace was off his game tonight), but still, they had a pretty good fight, and Larry hit the RUNNING BIG FOOT for the three count at 9:36 for the victory (D+) (D-, they wanted more angles/interviews. I was saving them).. It's time for our first big event. NPW is about to give you... A SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM!

I stood at the Gorilla position, going over everything. I smiled at Emily, who had come back stage to get a couple bottles of water before the main show started. Alright. Let's do this. Pre-Show: Mario Heroic and Rolling Johnny Stones had a great match the week before, and I wanted to start this thing off right, so they went out first. And they pretty much tore the house down. They have a great chemistry together. Heroic tried dirty trick after dirty trick, even getting purposely DQ'd to gain an advantage in this 2/3 falls match by smacking Stones with the ring bell! It looked like Stones was out cold, and all that Heroic had to do was to casually pin Stones twice, and it was over, right? But the thirty seconds or so between falls was enough for Stones to recover, with the help of Persephone at ringside, and he took a 9 count before entering the ring.. and then dominated the rest of the way. He hit move after move. A baffled Mario Heroic scrambled outside to regroup, but there was no hiding from the Stone man, and did he get revenge? Did he EVER! After hitting a Short Arm DDT, Stones covered Heroic, and despite the fact he could have gotten the three count normally, Stones put BOTH feet on the top rope to further taunt Heroic! The fans applauded, although they were a bit disturbed to see a good guy cheat, even "if he deserved it" (Winner, Rolling Johnny Stones at 13:54 2 falls to none, C+, great chemistry) The Ultimate No Limits match was next. Remmy Skye, the high flying king of the air versus Rowdy Roderick Remus, and Triple R surely wanted to ground Skye. They battled back and forth, Remus having the upper hand most of the match, but Skye hit some amazing spot, including one where he handwalked out on the wires near the belt, but instead of going for the belt, he started swinging back and forth, like he was a gymnast on the highbar, and on the final up swing, let go, and hit a 720 SPLASH on the downed Remus! With both wrestlers hurting, it came down to one final race for the belt, and the two wrestlers kicked each other, but the heavier Remus's grip gave out first, and Remmy Skye pulled down the belt and REMAINED NPW's No Limits Champion! (Time, 10:43, Remmy really looked good out there, C+) But Remus was NOT happy, and while Skye was celebrating, blasted him with a hard kick to the back of the head, nearly knocking Skye unconscious. A nearly insane with rage and jealousy Rowdy Roderick Remus dragged Skye back to the stage area.. and lifted Remus up for a POWERBOMB off the stage! kye barely caught it at the last moment and hit a huracanrana to get out of the move! But Skye turned to celebrate, thinking Remus was finished, and Remus charged from behind and THREW Skye OFF the stage, and through a table on the floor to the screams of the crowd. Security flooded the area, but the damnage had already been done. (E-) Up next was the four way #1 contender's match for that same title. Remus looked down each man from the stage where he was being watched by security. He made the universal sign of "That's MY belt you're fighting for", and finally allowed himself to be dragged backstage. So how could the four wrestlers in the ring live up to the last two matches? They couldn't. But they damn sure well tried. This was fast paced with tags in and out and in and out and in and out faster then you could blink. A key move was when UK Dragon flew over the bodies of K-Squared and Thomas Morgan IN the ring, over the top rope and onto Tempest Appleby on the floor! But UK Dragon landed wrong, and seemed to knock himself woozy, and Thomas Morgan saw his opportunity. He threw K-Squared out to the floor, dragged UK Dragon into the ring, and locked on the TRADEMARK LOCK, and UK Dragon had no choice but to tap out. So "Trademark" Thomas Morgan was the #1 contender, but did he have a champion to fight? (C-) We decided to give the crowd a slight break, and scheduled an impromptu match between Kashmir Singh and Valentine. It was another small step back, but the two put on a decent match, applying hold, counter hold, and some good moves. Valentine could be one to watch, and got the win at 8:39, after a superkick. (D, Valentine improves in Rumble/Perfomance) Up next was the tag title match, and Fox Mask and Ultimate Phoenix have a common background, both wrestling in CZCW. This was their first time teaming, and they had a few bobbles, but they definitely looked better, and had the best of it against the Golden Boys. Jenny Playmate couldn't watch at ringside, as her boys time and again came close to losing those title belts, only to kick out at the last second, or to have their partner save them. At one point, Ultimate Phoenix went to the top rope, and prepared for the PHOENIX FIREBIRD SPLASH, however, Jenny Playmate slid into the ring and.. um.. low-blowed Phoenix quite blatantly while his back was to the ring. There was no choice but to call for the bell, and The Golden Boys got to keep the titles, but the winners of the match were Fox Mask and Ultimate Phoenix at 12:37 (Rating, D+, Phoenix Looked good) That brought us to our main event.. The cage was set up. Two cages in fact. The first, at ringside, was for Jenny Playmate, and it took four security guards to drag her, kicking and screaming into the cage. Air Attack Weasel and the Golden Boys tried to protest, but they were summarily dismissed to the back. There would be no cheap victory for Douglas tonight! When Jungle Jack was announced, the roof of the Den nearly blew off the place. He strolled over to the cage where Jenny Playmate was locked in, first, smiling as she pressed herself against the other side of the cage, as far away from Jack as possible. Douglas came running out of the cage to try to protect his paramour/manager, and Jack met him halfway, and the fight was on! This was under old-school cage rules, none of this run out of the cage stuff. This cage was to keep people out, and it was to keep Douglas in! Despite the magnitude of the challenge facing Douglas, no one can complain he wasn't willing to fight, and he took it to Jack, throwing him into the cage wall a couple times, busting the Wild Man open, and getting a two count. He went for the DOUGLAS DRIVER, and Jack barely blocked it by grabbing the top rope, and shifting his weight, caused Douglas to fall backwards for.... only a two count! Douglas went for his finisher again, and Jack didn't even let him get him off the ground, using his huge hands like clubs on Douglas's back. Time and Time again, he just ran OVER him, using his size and power to his advantage. Douglas was the next to bleed, and he did so rather spectacularly, as in a great photo shot, Jungle Jack lifted Douglas over his head, and with a running start, LAUNCHED him.. head first, into the cage. As Jenny Playmate, shrieking, tried to pretend this wasn't happening, Jack roared to the crowd.. they all knew what was coming next... JUNGLE... JACK... JAMMER! Cover.... 1... 2... 3!!!!! Your Winner: And NEWWWWWWW NPW World Heavyweight Champion: JUNGLE JACK! And Almost as important.. he now got five minutes of revenge against the source of all his frustration, Jenny Playmate! But it looked like there would BE no revenge, as the Golden Boys and Air Attack Weasel came running down, all with chairs in hand, and smacked Jack again and again wtih the chairs.. staggering him, and finally downing him to the mat. It only took about 30 seconds, but that seemingly was enough. Fox Mask, Ultimate Phoenix and Frankie Perez all came running down to ringside, and with the help of security, pulled Jenny Playmate OUT of her cage, and put the three members of Futureshock IN the cage!. Jenny Playmate was forced in the cage. She looked around for support, but there was none to be found. Douglas was out cold on the outside. Air Attack Weasel, Oscar Golden and Flash Savage were trying to break down the cage doors, but they couldn't get by security and the other wrestlers. But all she had to do was cover Jack for three seconds, and she could flee. She dropped down, covered Jack.. No.. Not Like This.. 1... 2... ..... (E for angle)

Jack kicked out, sending Jenny Playmate high into the air! Jenny Playmate did the best she could. She ran for the door. She pleaded. She offers favors both monetary and personal. She begged her group to come help her. None of her pleas were answered. Instead, Jack lifed Jenny Playmate high into the air. Light as a feather, he carried her upside down to the four corners of the ring. But there's a law of gravity that says what comes up must come down, and there's also a Law of the Jungle. You mess with Jack, you don't come Back. JUNGLE. JACK. JAMMER. Did we even need a 3 count? (D-) D for the show. Attendance:1338

Week 2 February NPW Weekly Show Preview: It's one week since SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM, and we're still discussing the fallout. We'll hear from the new NPW World Heavyweight championm, Jungle Jack! It's a pretty sure thing that Futureshock will not be in a good moodm and they have requested a couple minutes time to get things of their chest. Will Jenny Playmate even be there, after getting JUNGLE JACK-JAMMERED? We do have that thing on the marquee that says wrestling, and we won't disappoint! Rowdy Roderick Remus lost the Ultimate No Limits Battle to Remmy Skye, but with Skye unavailable to wrestle this week after Remus threw him off the stage and through a table, you'd have to consider him the winner of the War. H will take on the Rebel, Carlos Gonzalez! UK Dragon came oh so close to winning the #1 contenders match, but he says he's going to build on that loss and start making his way up the ranks, first off by defeating Joey Beauchamp! The Puerto Rican Sensation, Kashmir Singh will take on Karen Killer's latest find, Zeus Maximillion! And our final match is one that was bumped from Shock to the System, the P-Dawg, Frankie Perez will take on Futureshock's Air Attack Weasel!

NPW Weekly Super Show from the Delaware Auditorium: Attendance 850 Preshow: Snap Dragon defeated Rolling Johnny Stones in 7:48 by pinfall with a Dragon's Breath. (C, Stones +Performance Skills) Mario Heroic defeated Jerry Martin in 7:36 by pinfall with a Hero Attack. (D, Martin tiring, Heroic looked good) Main Show: Futureshock came out first, noting that the Auditorium had been outfitted for a Jungle Jack championship celebration, and needless to say, they weren't happy. Jenny Playmate came out in a neckbrace, and tearfully blamed every fan who cheered for Jungle Jack for her injury. This.. was not met with a lot of sympathy. This OUTRAGED Futureshock, and Dangerous Dan Douglas.. well.. snapped. He bolted out of the ring, grabbed one of NPW's "Superfans" who attend each show, and posts on NPW's message board as "Rob5KC", dragged him into the ring, and gave him a DOUGLAS DRIVER before security, or even the other Futureshock members could react. That's when the near riot started. (E+) Finally, when things got calmed down, we hurriedly threw the next match out there, as UK Dragon and Joey Beauchamp had a really good match, and the fans appreciated seeing guys who were being PAID taking the bumps instead of one of their own. UK Dragon won the match at 10:34, solidifying himself and Joey as two of the guys who can go out there with a lot of different folks and have good matches (C) It was time for the Jungle Jack celebration, and the fans were happy.. they were especially happy when Futureshock was corraled at the entranceway and prevented from attacking Jack! However, the celebration did have one hitch, as Larry Wood came down, and reminded Jack that he wasn't the only big man in town, just the one with the gold belt. Would he mind putting that belt up to see who the real KING of the Jungle was? Jack looked to the crowd, and nodded. It was on! (D, +Performance Skills for Jack) Zeus Maximillion and Kashmir Singh put on a good match, with both wrestlers having impressive strength based moves. Zeus ended up getting the pin at 11:57 after a THUNDERBOLT, but both men came out of this looking decent (C-, Kashmir Singh +Performance) Rowdy Roderick Remus came out, clearly enjoying the hatred of the crowd after he put Remmy Skye out of action. He took on the Rebel, Carlos Gonzales. Gonzales truly is much better as a heel then a face, and this match suffered for it, but it wasn't TOO bad, thanks to the commentary team of Downpour, Earnest and Emily spending much of the match talking about Remus's heinous attack. Remus won the match at 10:45 with a Remus clutch. After the match, Remus grabbed a microphone, and dedicated his win to all the folks who wished Remmy Skye well. After all, he was going to go home tonight, and party at the clubs, while "poor lil Remmy Skye is going to have hospital food and jello while the doctors try to put the jigsaw that was his ribs together!". He continued in that manner for a few minutes, but cut it short when he realized that the crowd had already come close to rioting ONCE tonight, and he was dragging them close to the line again... (E) In what would have been the Main Event if it had been a scheduled match, Jungle Jack took on Larry Wood in a battle of NPW's resident big men. The two are both used to manhandling folks smaller then them, and it was kinda bizarre to try to do moves against the folks the same size, but they did a pretty good job, and Jack ducked the RUNNING BIG BOOT, and after kicking Wood in the stomach hit the JUNGLE JACK-JAMMER for the win at 12:51 (C-, they didn't quite click, but Jack gets a bonus to Rumble Skills) However, you know that line about how you can't stop someone, you can only hope to contain them? Futureshock had ENOUGH containment for one night, hopping over the banner and delivering a four on one beatdown of Jungle Jack, until Frankie Perez, Fox Mask and Ultimate Phoenix came down to save Jack! (E Rating) Futureshock bailed to the outside, and inside, Fox Mask grabbed the microphone. "Last week, Golden Boys, that woman of yours saved your butt. But that's ok. She got her payback last week, didn't she?" (Jenny Playmate vocally disagreed with THAT idea) "But you see, you just made us decide that we ARE going to take those titles off you Golden Boys. It's going to be The Golden Boys versus The Panthenon of Fox Mask and Ultimate Phoenix, next week.. and it's going to be a FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE match! (D- Rating) Security kept the two sides apart, but we didn't even need entrance music for the main event, as Air Attack Weasel and Frankie Perez were already in the ring, and ready to fight! With the ringside crowded with folks supporting Perez (Jack, Fox, Phoenix), Air Attack Weasel (The Golden Boys, Douglas and Jenny Playmate), and folks who just wanted to avoid a riot (security and backstage workers), it was a simmering cauldron, ready to bubble over. And they stepped up with a good match, the fans were vocally behind Perez, and it looked at one point where he'd get the win, but Playmate grabbed his leg at ringside, and Perez turned to confront Playmate, and as both sides boiled into the ring, Weasel rolled Perez up, 1..2..3! (11:01, C rated) The end of the show was all 8 members of the two sides in the ring, security trying in vain to keep them apart, and a roaring crowd.

In Front of 1563 people at Pennsylvania Park, it's the weekly super show! Pre-Show: William Hayes defeated K-Squared at 7:45 (Hayes off his game, C) Persephone fires T-Shirts into the crowd (C-) Valentine defeated Phenomenal E in 6:27. (D) Main Show: In a first round match, Jerry Martin (who's known backstage as the five minute wonder, because that seems to be where his cardio goes to die) took on Mario Heroic, and they tied it into the story of the match, where Heroic just waited for Martin to wear himself out, and took advantage, and Martin hit the HERO ATTACK for the win at 7:31 to advance to the 2nd round (D rating, Heroic looked good, Color Commentary gave it a boost, Martin Tired) We immediately went to the next first round match, and UK Dragon and Joey Beauchamp always have a good match out there, despite the fact they don't have any super chemistry (I have to find a way to move them up the card..), but this match was a candidate for match of the night, and it ended at 11:35 with UK Dragon advancing after catching Beauchamp with the DRAGON DROP for the win. Our first semifinal is Mario Heroic vs UK Dragon, two of our better wrestlers. (C rating, announcing wasn't up to it) Roddy Remus continued his winning ways against Ace Youngblood, who despite supposedly being a high card guy, hasn't done real well in his matches, and this one was no different, as Remus dominated and locked in the REMUS CLUTCH for the victory at 9:26. (D Rating, they have great chemistry. Hmmm) The camera followed Remus back stage, and as he went in the lockerroom to get his things, he came FLYING OUT twice as fast, and in hot pursuit, with his ribs taped, but a crowbar in hand was REMMY SKYE! Remus ran as fast as he could, jumped in a waiting car and took off just a second ahead of Skye, but Skye jumped into his car and took after him. Someone warn the Pennsylvania State Police, we got some road rage goin on! (E-) Rolling Johnny Stones took on Zeus Maxmillion in our third ruler of the ring match, and the big man did his best to keep Stones off his feet, but Stones hit some nice sequences, including SIX Rolling German Suplexes in a row! The sixth was a RELEASED German Suplex, and it was enough to get the win and advance to the semifinals at 11:10 (D+, they didn't click, god my guys have awful chemistry :D) In our final first round match, Kashmir Singh took on Snap Dragon, and this quite possibly be our best match of the round. They had good chemistry, and the match flowed nicely. Snap Dragon had just a bit more in the tank, and won the match after a Dragon's Breath at 10:53 to finish out the first round (C, good chemistry) Dangerous Dan Douglas's forehead still was bandaged from being lawn-darted into the cage wall by Jungle Jack at Shock to the System, but he was a very very VERY angry young man, and Trent Shaffer was the recipient of that anger as Douglas scientifically TOOK HIM APART. He hit the DOUGLAS DRIVER, but refused to pin him, instead locking a Fujiwara Armbar on the semi conscious Shaffer for the tap out at 7:06 (D+) In the Main Event, The Golden Boys and the Panthenon tore the house down, fighting all over Pennsylvania Park, and Fox Mask and Flash Savageactually fought OUTSIDE the building, down an embankment, the two of them landing in a stream, where dripping wet and freezing cold, they continued fighting! Inside, Ultimate Phoenix was going to go up top for a Phoenix Firebird Splash, but saw Douglas on the outside acting like he was going to interfere and instead flew out with a cross body to the floor, but when he got back up, Flash Savage flew out with his own splash! The ref counted 1...2..3! The Golden Boys had stolen another win! (11:24, D rating, Phoenix looked good) (D+ Rating for the card) After the card, four matches were announced for March Mayhem: The March Mayhem tournament semi-finals AND finals, where either Mario Heroic or UK Dragon will take on either Rolling Johnny Stones or Snap Dragon. Remmy Skye vs Trademark Thomas Morgan for the No Limits Title and the Main Event FutureShock (Dangerous Dan Douglas, Air Attack Weasel, Oscar Golden and Flash Savage) vs The Alliance (Jungle Jack, Frankie Perez, Fox Mask and Ultimate Phoenix In CAGE WARS! Not only pride is on the line, but each member of the winning team will get a shot at a NPW title in the next month!

In an attempt to get our wrestlers more action (and more money for us), we will be holding a quick 30 minute show every thursday. Since this for now will be used just to get more wrestlers out there and not to advance storylines, I will do quick posts In the First "First to Fight".. At the Snake Pit, SouthWest (Att:850) Kashmir Singh defeated Nomad (D+) Jungle Jack defeated Joey Beauchamp (C+) Show Rating: C

Hmmm.. change in plans here. I'm not sure if it's because they signed new contracts, if we dropped behind someone in priority, because of a special event, or what, but Trent Shaffer, Jenny Playmate and Zeus Maximillion are not available for our weekly super show. Which.. in two out of three cases, isn't so bad, but the third is the vocal side of our heel stable. I think (and hope!) it's a CGC Special Event, because if not, I forsee a scramble in the very near future to either change our show date, or to find new folks to use. Preview of The Weekly Super Show, Week 1 March 2007 The four remaining contenders in the Ruler of the Ring have two weeks to prepare for March Mayhem, and the road starts tonght in Tag Team action, it's Mario Heroic and Snap Dragon against UK Dragon and Rolling Johnny Stones. An interesting sub plot to this match is that UK and Snap Dragon have worked together in the past, as the team Double Dragon! Slick Willie Hayes is getting close to being in the picture for a title shot down the road, and he will look to take the next step as he takes on Phenomenal E! Remmy Skye is back! He's nowhere near 100% but the No Limits Titleholder told the NPW offices that he wasn't gonna let "That Scum-Sucking Garden Weasel", "Rowdy" Roderick Remus force him out for ONE second more then necessary. He's got a match tonight, against the high flying Huey Cannonball! And speaking of that No Limits Titleholder, Trademark Thomas Morgan wanted a warm up match for March Mayhem, and he got one! The Rebel, Carlos Gonzalez, said he's tired of losing to the bad guys in NPW and promises to turn things around. Can the young man turn it around against Morgan? Or is Gonzalez simply the next man in line to get his butt TRADEMARKED! In the Semi-Main event, Ultimate Phoenix steps AWAY from the tag team scene to take on Larry Wood.. the two men both look like possible top contenders for Jungle Jack's NPW World Heavyweight title, is this a Heavyweight Title Elimination fight? And in the Main Event, Jungle Jack says he's tired of waiting for someone to step up and challenge HIM, so he's doing the challenging! With Jenny Playmate up in Canada seeing a doctor for her neck injury, and Dangerous Dan Douglas recovering at home from last week, he thinks it's about time that he invoked payback on one Air Attack Weasel! Without Futureshock to help, will Air Attack Weasel learn the Law of The Jungle?

From the Junkyard, in the Mid-West: ATT: 1,000 (SOLD OUT), it's the Weekly Super Show! Pre-Show (IE, the $100 specials ;)) Tempest Appleby defeated Nomad in 7:43 by submission.(D+) Jerry Martin defeated Valentine in 7:52 by submission. (E) Main Show Ruler of the Ring Tag Match! It was Mario Heroic and Snap Dragon taking on UK Dragon and Rolling Johnny Stones.. Stones and (UK) Dragon worked together well, Heroic and Snap Dragon, didn't quite trust each other, as it was quite possible that Mario Heroic and Snap Dragon could be facing each other in the Ruler of the Ring finals! However, the match settled down, and it was a fairly good one, with UK Dragon looking good, but he went for one too many high flying moves, and crashed to the mat, and Heroic is too much a veteran to let that go by, and he immediately set up for, and hit the HERO ATTACK for the three count (Time: 12:48, C- Rating, UK Dragon looked good, Stones + to Technical Skills) Slick Willie vs the Phenomenal One These two put on a good fight. Neither has been really considered a top wrestler as of yet, but if they continue to put on matches like tonight, they'll rise up the ranks quickly! William Hayes's ground style and occasional heal tactics played well against Phenomenal E's high flying, death defying style. This match was back and forth the whole way, and it could have gone either way, but Hayes reversed a Phenomenal E move into the SLICK TRICK and got the three count! (Time: 8:44, C+ rating, these two had great chemistry, Hayes +to Performance Skills) Remmy vs Huey in the battle of "GET A REAL FIRST NAME, PLEASE!" No Limits Champion Remmy Skye was definitely feeling the pain of his rib injuries as he took on Huey Cannonball, but in a weird way it both helped and hurt the match. They really went after each other, and the moves were clean, crisp and just plain great, but the match kinda stalled in the middle as Skye tried to find ways to do his moves without collapsing in pain, and it wasn't as good as it could be. He did hit the Skye Diver, and despite clutching his ribs for a good 15 seconds afterwards, finally crawled over and got the three count. (Time: 7:43, D rating, Skye looked good, great chemistry, but the match had no flow to it) Roderick Remus wasn't too happy that Remmy Skye was back, and he brought a chair to the ring with him, but Skye ducked under the one good swing that Rowdy Roderick produced before security kept the two men apart (E-) Morgan warms up for March Mayhem Trademark Thomas Morgan hasn't lost a match in quite a few weeks, and with Skye possibly overlooking him with all that's going on with Rowdy Roderick Remus, the No Limits Title could well be his at March Mayhem. He took on Carlos Gonzalez, who is trying to get his first win in NPW. It wasn't going to happen tonight, as Morgan looked really good in taking out the Rebel, grounding him, and working on the arm of Gonzalez, setting him up for the TRADEMARK LOCK, and Gonzalez tapped out in sheer frustration before the move was even really fully applied! (Time: 9:43, D+, Morgan looked good) The Champion Is Here! (what, is that under copyright?) Jungle Jack came out, and he noted the various misfortunes that have plagued Futureshock. He wasn't quite symapthetic though, he warned Jenny Playmate when she came back that if she got in his face, he'd do it again.. and told Dangerous Dan Douglas to not let the hospital give his bed out to anyone, he might need it again after March Mayhem. He finished up his rant with a reminder to the Air Attack Weasel, about the Law of The Jungle.. "You Mess With Jack? You WON'T come back." (D, one of our few interview segments to rate that high) Ultimate High Flying, versus Ultimate Size The Semi-Main Event was a contrast in styles, the high flying, aerial, lucha-inspired gracefulness of Ultimate Phoenix, and the sheer size, power and IMPACT that is Larry Wood. both men wanted a win over a fellow Main Eventer to solidify their cause for a NPW World Heavyweight Title match. Wood controlled for most of the match, plowing over Phoenix time and time again, but the change in momentum happened when Wood went for the RUNNING BIG BOOT, and Phoenix dropkicked Wood's plant leg! With only one good wheel, Wood was cut down to size, and easy prey for the American luchadore, who hit Wood from every angle possible, and finally picked up the duke after the PHOENIX FIREBIRD SPLASH! (Time:11:43, C+ Rating!) Main Event Time! Jungle Jack and Air Attack Weasel just don't like each other much, and it showed. Every move had that extra impact. Every move was calculated for maximum damage. The title wasn't up for grabs, but that wasn't important. And the thing is, that without Futureshock at his side, Air Attack Weasel is STILL one of the toughest hombres in NPW, and it took every move in Jack's arsenal to put him away, but it eventually DID happen, and Jungle Jack finished him off with the Jungle Jack-Jammer and posed with the belt in the center of the ring. (Time: 14:53, D+ Rating, they didn't click, awkward bout, Air Attack Weasel improved in Technical Skills) Post-Main Jungle Jack then took the microphone and laid the belt down in the middle of the ring. He had three rules for the challengers to this belt. "ANYone..." "ANYwhere..." "ANYTIME!" (D+ Promo, D+ Show)

Aw, DAMNIT. It was because of CGC that all three wrestlers missed the show, and it's because CGC has a new TV show on Wedensdays *grumbles*.. Ok.. So it's switched around, First to Fight on Wedensdays, and The Weekly Super Show on Thursdays. (have to find out if we can put our Big show on Fridays now that we can't use thursdays without having to double book our wrestlers)

To make things worse, we're starting to get raided. WLW wants Frankie Perez to go on tour with them. Jungle Jack and Mario Heroic are being headhunted by CZCW Slick Willie Hayes has an offer by INSPIRE (if it's written, we'll lose him completely) To try to cover the holes in the roster (and provide some new good guys!) , we sign a bunch of wrestlers on cheap PPA contracts: Mark Smart Brendan Idol Des Davids Erik Strong Justin Sensitive (Repackaged as Johnny Sensitive) We're going to look into cutting some dead weight soon, but since no one has downsides, there's no real bad problem to keeping them on, at least till they get angry for not being used.
Dangerous Dan Douglas had a burst Appendix after catching Ultimate Phoenix awkwardly, and rather then try to change the match, we changed the date, we'll give ourselves an extra week, holding March Mayhem on the third week of March.
You know, after what he did to me, I don't have any sympathy for him having a burst appendix. I hope it hurt like hell! :D Tough luck on the talent raids and the new CGC show. I'm sure you'll be able to overcome these though.

NPW Weekly Super Show Preview Week 2, March, 2007 We are just a week away from March Mayhem, and things are getting close to being set. In the Opener, don't blink or you'll miss it! The Mover From Vancouver, Tempest Appleby will take on Huey Cannonball! We have the debut of the man who might have to be classified as a living weapon, as one of the toughest fighters in the Northeast in Mikey James makes his debut! He'll be taking on Kashmir Singh! Can Mikey, The Dragon use his martial arts skills to take down the popular Puerto Rican? We have a lot of debut's going on, as more wrestlers flock to NPW, and we have a special debut attraction. Brendan Idol has captivated Northeast fans for a while now, and he'll make his first full step into the chaos of NPW by taking on the most ANNOYING man in the busines, Mark Smart! Speaking of Dragons earlier, it's a Four Way Singles Match with two Dragons in it! All four men left in the March Mayhem Ruler of the Ring tournament will face each other in a FOUR CORNERS match! UK Dragon, Mario Heroic, Rolling Johnny Stones and Snap Dragon, first fall to a finish! NPW's No Limits Title has been coveted like almost no other title in the wrestling business. The Champion, Remmy Skye, will be teaming up with the Blue Collar superstar, Johnny Sensitve against the man who will try to take it from him at March Mayhem, "Trademark" Thomas Morgan, and the man who apparently not only wants to take the title from him, but to END his career, "Rowdy" Roderick Remus! and in the Main Event.. In a Preview of the CAGE Wars match, Ultimate Phoenix will take on one half of the tag-team champions, Flash Savage! Both Fox Mask and Oscar Golden will be at ringside, but there will BE no interference, because NPW's management has ordered that Fox Mask and Oscar Golden be handcuffed together!

Preshow Matches Joey Beauchamp defeated Phenomenal E in 7:37 by pinfall. (C Rating, Joey +Technical K-Squared defeated Valentine in 7:55 by pinfall. (D, Color Commentary boosted it) Main Show Opening with wrestling! Most shows these day have some guy who may or may not be related to the promoter talking for 7 minutes, and putting the crowd to sleep.. Not NPW! We put two wrestlers out there who don't click to spend more time in the air then on the ground, to give the audience motion sickness instead! (Um, can you tell that I'm getting tired of seeing a message that my guys don't click?) It wasn't THAT bad a match, and to the shock and amazement of all, Huey Cannonball rolled through a Appleby flying cross body block, and hooked the tights for a rare victory! (Time 7:53 D-, Huey was tiring, they didn't click, Appleby looked good) Ok, NOW the talking head..er.. mask Fox Mask had a double promise for Flash Savage. "Tonight, my partner Ultimate Phoenix will beat your ass down. And then at March Mayhem, We are going to go into Cage Wars focused on one mission. ELIMINIATING Futureshock! (E+) Four-Way Match The March Mayhem Final Four are all very good wrestlers, and they got a chance to show it. Not surprisingly, the semifinalists ended up facing off against each other (UK Dragon-Mario Heroic, Snap Dragon-Rolling Johnny Stones), but there was some good action here. Heroic seemingly had it won when he hit the HERO ATTACK on Rolling Johnny, but he made the mistake of going to the top rope, where Snap Dragon and UK Dragon came running over, and pulled Heroic's legs out from under him.. (and the way that Mario landed um.. OW.) UK Dragon then surprised Snap Dragon with a punch that sent him flying to the guardrail and the floor, tagged himself in, quickly hit a DRAGON DROP, and got the three count on the stunned Stones. (Time: 12:59, Rating: C) The Golden Response The Tag Champions got equal time, and they told Ultimate Phoenix and Fox Mask that if they were thinking they were going to beat the NPW World Tag Team Champions, tonight, or any other night they were dreaming. Then Jenny Playmate made the announcement that if her team won the CAGE WARS main event at March Mayhem, then she would have ALL four of her team turn in their title shots against Jungle Jack at ONE TIME! So if they win at Cage Wars, it's be a "five way" match that really would be a 4 on 1 beatdown! (E+) Mark Smart? Can we blow up Kayfabe any more? It was a double debut match, well, at least on NPW Full shows, as the teen idol, Brendan Idol took on the most annoying wrestling fan ever (no, not Rob5KC, glad you came back from the Douglas Driver btw ;)), Mark Smart. You do have to give the Obsessive Wrestling Fan some props. He knows a lot of moves. Brendan Idol went to the limit, and got the win after a Fisherman's Buster. (Time:8:35, C Rating, Idol looked good) More debuts.. Enter Mikey The Dragon Mikey "The Dragon" James took on Kashmir Singh, and it wasn't as good as the previous match, but Dragon looked good for a first timer, and defeated Kashmir Singh after a buzzsaw kick at 7:20 (D+, James +Performance) NO Limits Tag Match You kind of tell that Remmy Skye wants to beat "Rowdy" Roderick Remus up at any chance he can get. He teamed up with Johnny Sensitive to take on Remus and the man Skye faces in just over a week at March Mayhem, Trademark Thomas Morgan. This lack of focus cost Skye at the end of a good match, as he had Morgan covered, when Remus came in to break it up, Skye instead got up and started brawling with Remus, and as the ref tried vainly to pull them apart, it gave Morgan time enough to recover, and roll up Skye from behind, and Remus blocked Sensitive from making the save, and Trademark had a win over Skye! (Time: 13:46, Rating: C, Skye looked good, Sensitive +Technical) The Main Event Ultimate Phoenix was introduced first, but he got in the ring, and over the guard rail came the Golden Boys! Since they couldn't do it during the match, they double teamed Phoenix until Fox Mask came out to make the save. (D-, both Golden Boys +Performance) Oscar Golden had a cheeky smile on his face, as he was locked into the handcuffs with Fox Mask, the damage had been done, and Mask could not help his partner! Savage dominated this match, with the advantage he had been given, hitting move after move on the American Luchadroe.. but after each move, Phoenix somehow kicked out. The final insult was when Savage went up to the top rope... he was going to try to win the match with Ultimate Phoenix's own move!. At the very last moment, Phoenix moved out of the way, and Savage had a heaping helping of the French dish "Mat Canvas a la SPLAT" The grin on Golden's face disappeared, and Mask took advantage, pulling on the handcuffs, forcing Golden RIGHT into the ring post! Jenny Playmate was stunned, and she tried crawling into the ring to stop Phoenix as he climbed the turnbuckle, but with Oscar Golden on dreamstreet, Fox Mask grabbed Jenny Playmate by the leg as she tried to get up, and instead, Jenny Playmate had the best view in the house as Phoenix hit a picture perfect PHOENIX FIREBIRD SPLASH for the win! (C-, 15:03, Savage increased Performance Skills) (C- Show, increased popularity)
