theoutlaw321
Update from the game world. Thursday, wk3, Jan 83. Press release. NWA, INC is proud to announce the signing of a contract extension between our company and the present NWA World Hwt Champion, Ric Flair. This will ensure that he will be with us for the foreseeable future. Also, we would like to announce the extension of Jake Roberts’ contract. He is presently the National TV Champion. We are committed to bringing you the best product possible and the before mentioned moves are a sign of our commitment to that goal. Thursday updates. Frank Tunney, called and asked if I could send a few workers to Toronto to work a show for them on Thursday night. He asked about Flair which I declined. Telling him that would put him working 6 days in a row and that we would work something out for a future date. He was also in need of lower mid card guys and asked about the Road Warriors. I sent them (over Animal’s objection.) I also sent Brett Wayne along with them. I need to get him as much in ring work as possible. For the record, Angelo Mosca, Angelo Mosca Jr, and Mark Youngblood all work for Frank also. Ron Fuller called and asked for a few workers for Saturday night. We agreed on Rick McGraw and Assassin #2. We will bring Assassin #2 back for a match on Sunday night at our TV taping. But if McGraw does okay, we may leave him with Ron for awhile. We have plans to use him next Sat, but it’s a dark match and we can always change that one. We need to figure out if we have any plans for him. theoutlaw321
Updat on the update from yesterday. On MLW Ringside last night. Frank made my life a whole lot harder as he pitted RW Animal against Brett Wayne, with Wayne taking the win. I'm am bound to hear about this as Animal was opposed to going in the first place. Also, Angelo Mosca Jr defeated Tom Zenk. Hawk was not used. The South's Gonna Rise Again! is tonight from the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill, NC. Buzz Sawyer v. Larry Zbyszko v. Ole Anderson Match starts hot and heavy, with all four men going at it. You then see Zbyszko kind of staying back out of the action(at times even being on the floor outside of the ring.) The first to be eliminated is Afa as Ole delivers a big running knee and Sawyer makes the cover for the pin at the 6:23 mark. Then you see Sawyer and Anderson pairing off with Zbyszko still avoiding most of the action. Anderson weakens Sawyer down enough to get him to submit to the step over arm bar at the 10:45 mark. Now it's just Larry and Ole left. Larry can't avoid the action now if he wants that title shot. The two men put on one heck of a show, but eventually, Ole pays for the early action as he just tires down allowing Zbyszko to catch him in the sleeper and secure the win at the 15:56 mark. Zbyszko gets his shot at the title. B+Both Afa and Ole were visibly tiring by the end. Announcement of Tommy Rich© v. Paul Orndorff for the National Hwt Title. B Interview with Paul Orndorff. B+ While Orndorff is perched up on the turnbuckle holding the championship belt up high. Sawyer slips in the ring and attacks Rich. B Orndorff notices the attack and jumps down and starts hammering on Sawyer, thus saving the fallen Rich. B While Orndorff was fighting with Sawyer, Zbyszko slides into the ring. Money 484510(+58260) Notes:The AWA received their second straight warning about their ratings. Things don't look good for their TV contract. And I need to go on record and apologize to 'Fred' as I screwed him up last night. I messed up on entering my PPV into the booking screen therefore; he was unable to use NBockwinkel, GGagne, JBrunzell, and VGagne on his show. We had previously agreed that I could have Hogan for use on the PPV. I made a mistake and cost him in the ratings, as he had advanced booked all the wrestlers I mentioned before. It was unintentional and I vowed to never let it happen again. I hope that we can continue to work together on our plans for the future but I could understand if he doesn't want to. lowki02
A few updates from the game world. On Tuesday Wk 3. We releashed Bruno Sammartino Jr. and Johnny Rich. We wish them well in their furture endeavors. Also, on Tuesday we signed Announcer Gordon Solie to a contract extension. His deal was up next month. We are glad to keep our voice with the company. On Tuesday we okayed Ric Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, and Don Kernodle to return to Fla to work CWF's Tuesday night show. Odd thing happened again as given the freedom to have Flair defend the title against anyone of their choosing. They again chose to have him defend it against one of our workers. As he successfully defended the title against Sgt. Slaughter. They chose not to use Kernodle even after they asked for him. Go figure. Also, Mr. Wrestling signed on as a road agent with the AWA. We are pleased that worked out. When you say promoters are asking for specific workers, is that just part of the story you're writing or is it a feature in the game that takes place randomly? I haven't played the game enough to find out. Also, I'm loving the diary. Keep up the good work.

I haven't played the game enough to find out. Also, I'm loving the diary. Keep up the good work. It's part of the story I'm writing. I've modified the database to make it possible to send workers to different places. I just have no control over what they do with them once they get there. Thanks, I'm having a blast writing it. Stay tune. There are interesting things planned.
theoutlaw321
Just finished running everything thru the end of January in 2005. I will spend the next couple of days getting everything updated and changed over to 2007. I will pick up at the beginning of Feb 83(moving the start time on DOTT2007 up from April.) I will edit the rosters and promtions to reflect the events as of the end of January 83. This will also give me a little of time to more familiarize myself with not only the great new mod by DBG, but also TEW 2007 which I just downloaded this morning(was waiting on DOTT to come out.) I understand that the new version is a little more agressive when it comes to stealing workers. Good, that will fit nicely into the storyline I have planned for this diary. Stay tuned. If you have liked any part about it so far, I feel like you will enjoy the unfolding story lines both in the game and in the backstory.

theoutlaw321
Thanks. And thanks again for this great mod. I only purchased TEW05 just to play DOTT. And again I waited till DOTT2007 was releashed before I purchased TEW07. (To be honest, only last week did I start my first game in CV.) And like I said before, I think you all will enjoy the story as it unfolds.
