AZJAZ
I dont want to assume either but when the game is available are we going to get random players or are the in game players going to be modeled after their real life counterparts?
Ragin Cajun
I would think with the college game, the recruiting and the constant turnover that the game will have fictional players. It may be possible based on Arlies past games to do a user mod to have a roster lineup that you could inport. But that would be us to a user to design. Just a guess though. AZJAZ
Arlie could just buy NCAA 2006 and copy the player attributes :). I assume it will be fictional as well but a guy can hope.

AZJAZ
Edit them all by one then :), and if you change the player names whats the big deal? :)
streetballer67
There's around 7,000 D1 football players, no one is going to want to rate them one by one.
chammer39
EA pisses me off.
AZJAZ
I didnt say edit each one. What I meant to say was take EA's ratings and change each number by one. :)
Danny
That's not going to happen.
AZJAZ
I know, it was just an off the cuff suggestion.
Ragin Cajun
On that thought process, will there be any licensing issue that will keep Arlie from having the real conference names and real school names in the game? That would be bad to have to edit every school in-game to match up correctly.
AZJAZ
I am pretty sure all those things will have to be edited. It wont take long to change a few team names however.
Ragin Cajun
It would take a while to change 117 schools, especially if you have to redo the changes every career you start.
Danny
The game will not come with real team names and conferences. However, I am sure there will be a way so that you won't have to edit the names each time.
AZJAZ
I assume you will be able to save it as a new league, or save it in the create file, but I am just guessing.
Erich Ingram
The same issues were there for TDCB as well and if I remember correctly there were 3rd party addons that prevented people from having to rename all 300 teams and all the conferences every time.
