I'm angry that "Noah" is too short, but I have some questions.

First of all Adam, I've been waiting for a game like this forever. Awesome idea. Now.. 1) You said you climb up the ladder by winning matches like in the SmackDown! series. What I'm wondering is what, if any, effect will crowd reaction have on the game? 2) For example, Eddie Guerrero got really over as a part of Los Guerreros, and the WWE pushed him because he became an overnight sensation with the fans. If, for instance, you were Hell Monkey and not winning many matches but getting over would the machine give you more difficult opponents or a higher status on the card? 3) In TEW, there were different moveset styles to go along with different fed types. For a real life example, Monty Brown has built up the Pounce (a shoulderblock) as death in NWA:TNA, where in ROH or CZW that generally would do you no good. It seems weird when I say it aloud, but if you were in a sports entertainment federation and hit an extremely built up move like the People's Elbow, would the opponent be forced to sell it more so than he would in a pure federation? Like, he has to skip a turn on the ground because the People's Elbow is supposed to hurt a lot? Thanks, "El" Noah

Your position on the card is decided by your overness levels. The higher it is, the higher up the card you are - same as in TEW. You gain overness through defeating better opponents, or through putting on great matches. You lose overness when you are defeated by weaker opponents. Therefore, just like in reality, you gain fan approval by who you beat, and how you perform. 3 - No, the move database is global - so the power of the move is the same in any federation. However, a "people's elbow" type move is likely to only be part of a custom move set for a sports entertainment style wrestler, so is unlikely to ever get used in a pure promotion anyway.

Maybe a follow up question.. How much control will you have over your outlook.. heel/facewise I mean.. if you're a heel (or a tweener) will you have different moves available for you? (you know, the ones the refs point at you and say "naughty naughty" for? :D also, will the game be customizable for different regions? (say, if you're wrestling in Mexico.. you have a lot of high flying stuff and goofy lucha submissions.. on the flip side.. will you have the stuff like Piledrivers (martinete) being banned in Mexico, or the different styles of wrestling in Japan?

CPU controlled wrestlers have a different move set depending on whether they are a face or heel. The player character can customize his own to match his alignment. There's no penalty for using cheating moves as a babyface, simply because that wouldn't be realistic - some of the biggest babyfaces of all time (Hogan, Austin, Rock) have "illegal" moves in their arsenal, so you can't really penalise someone for using them. The game world is customizable by the player, although there is no direct programming to limit moves. For example, in the default data, 90% of the wrestlers in Mexico have lucha-style move sets because that's the way I set up the database, to be realistic. However, there is nothing stopping you from changing that and giving every Mexican worker a Japanese heavyweight move set if you wanted to....it wouldn't make any sense, but there's nothing to stop you doing it. Likewise, the majority of the Japanese workers have a very eastern style of move set, the Canadian's have a specific bias towards suplexes and ground work, the US heavyweight's favour less spectacular power moves, etc, etc. You can customize it to whatever you want, but the starting default data is pretty realistic in terms of moves IMO. There's no ban on moves, but if you wanted to, you could simply create a new move called Mexican Piledriver, assign that to all the Mexican wrestlers, and increase its stats so that it's an ultra-dangerous move rather than a set-up move as it is in the US.
