Great Lakes Womens Wrestling (Cverse)

Recommended Posts

I've just turned 40 and I've been fired along with my twenty-one year old girlfriend. Yes, I'm a lucky man. Between us, we have decided to start our own small business here in northern Kentucky. Essentially it will be in Cincinnati, but if the Greater Cincinnati Airport can be in a state other than Ohio, then our business can be considered to be in Kentucky even if we won't be holding shows there. I'm golden on the stick and I've been the emcee/announcer for many a small-time wrestling fed. I've always had a soft spot for the younger ladies who can work a decent match and that usually gets me in trouble. Be it with the father of the wrestler or the boyfriend who also wrestles. It ends up being messy and it's easier to replace me instead of 2 in-ring talents. This latest situation occured when Zoe started working the extremely small feds in southern Kentucky. At first I just enjoyed watching her in the ring. She wasn't really being treated fairly as she was way better looking than the other "ladies" working in the ring. I was an easy shoulder for her to vent on and I started putting her over during the announcing segments that one can do at local shows. We exchanged cell numbers one night and had been talking quite a bit ever since. At first it was pretty innocent, but it quickly turned into something much more. I actually didn't feel guilty because I was having genuine feelings for her instead of just trying to get her in the sack like I usually did. The road isn't the greatest place for building a lasting relationship, so hopping from girl to girl for a distraction was my usual M.O. Zoe changed all that for me. Unfortunately, it led to our being fired and subsequently being blackballed from working. This puts us where we are now today. Great Lakes Womens Wrestling. Zoe is the first hire(obv) and I will be doing the Announcing/Booking(obv once again). If I can get a 21 year old hottie to fall for my 40 year old fat ass, I can work the stick. Now all I have to do is convince others to join the roster AND make it work on a limited budget.

I was greatly surprised at the talent that was available for me to choose from. I really had no trouble getting the workers I wanted to agree to come on board. The initial roster for our first show will be: MAIN EVENT Carol SingerEve GrungeNina The Psycho BallerinaStephanie Wade Upper Midcard Calamity JoanDebbie RoseKate LillyNadia SnowZoe Ammis Midcard & Lower Midcard Ginko KurodaKinuye MushashiboRoz Larren Announcers Gary EldridgeRon Sheridan Ref Jonathan Taylor Road Agent Duncan Kendall The first show will be held January 13th and will be called, GLWW Thrills AND Skills

The whole locker room was surprised that I didn't have Zoe win her first match, so the plan Zoe and I had talked about worked very well. The next show GLWW Bad Intentions would be February 13, 2007. Of course the card was somehow "leaked" to the net. Kinuye Mushashibo VS. Zoe Ammis Qualifying Match for Fatal 4-Way Carol Singer VS. Ginko Kuroda MAIN EVENT Qualifying Match for Fatal 4-Way Kate Lilly VS. Stephanie Wade I'm really hopeful that we can limit costs and make some money quickly as Zoe and I have everything we have invested in the company. OOC:The early shows won't have much detail in the angles/storylines as I need to find out if the company can work and grow. Once it looks like the company will be feasible and that the game won't fizzle, I will be adding depth to the angles/storylines.

February 3, 2007 We have some new competition. Canadian Women's Wrestling Federation was just started today by Fumihiro Ota. They have sent out feelers for a Head Booker. I'm hoping they leave my workers alone as Ota has more pull than I do and if we have any common workers I will have to schedule around CWWF.

Carol Singer's match with Ginko Kuroda was VERY good. I'm happy with this show.

I'm happy with everything so far except for the crowds we've drawn. Yet another "leak" puts our card for GLWW Presents Getting It Done on the net. Ginko Kuroda VS. Kinuye Mushashibo Fatal 4-Way Qualifier Debbie Rose VS. Nina The Psycho Ballerina MAIN EVENT Fatal 4-Way Qualifier Eve Grunge VS. Zoe Ammis We also have a new worker up in a Dark Match. Shhhhh. It's a secret.

E- Ron and I discuss the greatness that is the Fatal 4-Way Match scheduled for GLWW Fatal Attractions between Carol Singer, Eve Grunge, Nina The Psycho Ballerina, and Stephanie Wade. What a match it will be!!! E Show Rating:E- Thoughts:The Dark Match was the best match of the night. I see a fast progression for her. Ginko is intriguing. I'm unsure who should get the strap, maybe Duncan will be allowed to choose.

I apologize to anyone reading this one as I once again fizzle with a diary. I will not be doing another diary until I have a years worth of shows ready to be posted. I have to find something that catches my attention and holds it. I also need to get more INTO the stories so the Diary is worth reading. Thanks for reading.... Please don't kill me......
