lovestruck420
This is just a fun post to talk about the differences between our cultures. Can't really think of any right now but I will soon.
darthsiddus2
one obvious difference is language. we speak the same language but we have a hell of a lot of different phrases. for example: us Americans don't say Aye or G'day. we say, how the F*ck are ya :P we also don't call our friends "mates"
Undertaker666
I think the main thing that sets us Englishman apart from the rest is that we're better at everything than everyone else. ;)

Clarity
Yeah but the canadians run rings around the americans when it comes to hockey
Undertaker666
Ice Hockey maybe, but not Hockey. The only reason you're more adept at Ice Hockey is because we're not stupid enough to speed around on ice and avoid a puck that travels at over 100mph! :D

D16NJD16
Being from America, if I personally refered to a guy friend as my "Mate" it would be automatically assumed I was gay.
jagilki
In some cases, language changes even within one country. In my part of the USA (Wyoming) one usualy hears Pepsi, Mt. Dew, ETC refered to as "pop". In other parts of the country they refer to it as "soda" and if I remember correctly from the article I read this in, in the south they refer to all soft drinks as "coke" no matter what brand. Oh, and never mind me, I just took a lot of pain pills and am not quite sure what I'm typing.

lovestruck420
The English cannot play American style football for anything. Always reminds me of the Family guy episode "Patriot games" Where peter joins The Silly Nannys.
