praguepride Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 So I recently wrote a huge storyline, and I wondering about what other people think and how I can improve it. So, here goes: Title: Heroes vs. Villians Cast: The Villians: Villian, Henchman #1, Henchman #2 The Heroes: Hero, Good-guy #1, Good-guy #2 (will abbreviate to GG#1 and GG#2) The Neutrals: Outsider, Traitor Synopsis: Villian seizes power and starts harrassing The Heroes. The Heroes form an alliance, and Villian forms The Villians in response. The two sides go back and forth with attacks/saves/arguments for a bit. Then Villian tries to pressure Outsider into joining, Outsider refuses and joins The Heroes. Traitor also joins The Heroes and helps out a bit. Eventually Villian makes a deal with Traitor, and Traitor eliminates Outsider. Hero challenges Villian for his title, Villian rebuttles by making Hero put his job on the line. Meanwhile, the Good-guys are going to fight a handicap vs. the Henchman & Traitor, but before the match, Outsider returns and gets his revenge on Traitor, turning it into a 2 vs. 2 match. --------------------- Prologue: This would be a good storyline to evolve from existing feuds, mainly for the Hero and Villian, but could also be swung for Good-guys vs. Henchmen. You could also evolve this from The Grappling Samaritan, as this is a similar story, just with more plot and characters. --------------------- Plot Summary: (edited to show back-to-back angles/matches) Villian Takes Control (Reveal as new commisioner) Villian Punishes Hero (Books him in 1 vs. 2 against Henchmen) Hero Fights And Loses (Hero loses 1 vs. 2 match) Villian Punishes Good-Guy #1 (Books him in match w/ Henchman #1) Good-Guy #1 Fights And Loses (GG#1 loses match because of Henchman #2's interference) ...But The Hero Saves The Day (Rescue's GG#1 from 2-1 beatdown) The Villian Punishes GG#2 (GG#2 in 1 vs. 2 match against Henchmen) Again, The GG Loses (GG#2 loses match) ...And Again The Heroes Make The Rescue (Hero and GG1 rescue GG2) The Heroes Form An Alliance (3-man alliance formed) The Villians Form A Surprise Alliance (3-man alliance attack formed) A Surprise Attack (Henchman #1 attacks GG #2) The Villians Boast Of Victory (3 man taunt) The Heroes Confront The Villians (Argument leading to5 man pull apart brawl) The Outsider Refuses To Bow To Villians (Outsider rejects Villian's offer) ...And Joins The Heroes (Decision where Outsider joins Heroes) Another Worker Joins The Heroes (Traitor & Hero see Villian as common threat) The Hero Is Led Into A Trap (Trap w/ Villians against Hero) But Is Rescued By His Allies (Rescue w/ GG1 & Traitor) The Injured Hero Returns (Set-up w/ GG 2 in audience) The Villian Attempts A Backstage Deal (Villian offers alliance to Traitor) The Outsider Is Attacked (Myster attack on Outsider) The Traitor Reveals Himself (Traitor reveals he was mystery attacker) Hero Challenges Villian For Power (Challenge) Villian Puts Hero's Job On The Line (Accepted response) Hype For Heroes vs. Villians, 2 vs. 3 (Hype) Villian Declares Victory Before Match (Hype) Outsider Returns For Revenge (I prefer one of the phenom revenges vs. Traitor) The Final Showdown Begins (GG1 & 2 vs. Henchmen 1 & 2, no set outcome) Finally The Epic Match (Hero vs. Villian, no set outcome) --------------------- Aftermath/Lasting Effects: First of all, there are plenty of places for face/heel turns. Besides the Henchmen attacks (to heel potential) and the Hero rescues (to face potential), there is the ability to turn the Outsider face and the Traitor both face AND heel (face turn for the rescue, heel turn for the mystery attack). There is also good groundwork for setting up tag teams (henchmen and good-guys) as well as feuds (primarily for Outsider vs. Traitor, but also for Henchmen vs. Good-guys). --------------------- Anyway, let me know what you think.
Blackman Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Looks pretty good. Let us know how it unfolds. You might test it first, and come up with the win/loss scheme, to ensure momentum that lies close together. But maybe it is indeed best to keep it open for this reason.
praguepride Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I really only play small dinky feds that I start up. Usually don't play long enough to have my workers achieve an overness high enough to deal with all those overness angles. I just thought up the idea so IF I ever get far enough I have it. As for win/loss, there are only 3 matches that i set had a required ending, and that is pretty optional for the purpose of this story. The idea was that Villian would send basicaly to a firing squad. The Villians would get together and turn the match into a beatdown, hence the angles afterwards. So for the purposes of w/l Hero, GG1 and GG2 all lose one match each, Henchman 1 wins 3, Henchman 2 wins 2.
