D16NJD16 Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 What difference other then then the result text saying pinfall or submission is there in game between having someone win by a pinfall or submission? Is there any?
James Casey Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 None - other than if you're building up someone as an unstoppable submission machine a la Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit, having someone who won't tap out a la Stone Cold or Undertaker, or have someone who has a 'can't fail' finisher, a la HHH or Yokozuna.
D-Lyrium Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 It makes no difference at all in the actual mechanics of the game. Apart from, of course, you can't win a Submission match via pinfall, and things like that. But losing via submission doesn't make a worker lose more momentum or anything, as far as I know.
D16NJD16 Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 Crap, then I might as well not even bother wasting time setting pinfall or subbmissions then
lovestruck420 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I think possibly that if you give a submission finish to a match with a good technical worker, it ups the ratings a bit, but I'm not sure....
D16NJD16 Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 Wonder if Adam can give a definative answer on this
eayragt Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 No is probably fairly definitive. Pinfall / submission finishes under road agent notes weren't in the first release of TEW2005, but after a clamouring on the boards were added. They weren't originally in because they were (and probably still are) purely cosmetic.
