jagilki Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Don't know yet. I've got the last six. However this year, there is just nothing that grabs me.
Tyler Gadzinski Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I wont nothing on the card seems outstandish or making it worth the 50 bucks.. I wish WWE could go back to better booking.
AfRoMaN36 Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 Im not sure myself... Im going to let the next RAW, Smackdown and ECW decide for me.
Crychon Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Nope. I'd be hard pressed to pay $20 for a WWE PPV with the current booking, nevermind $50, even if it is Wrestlemania..
mjdgoldeneye Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Naw... I used to watch WWE weekly. Now, I've stopped watching almost completely, except RAW, which I watch when I feel like it. It's terrible... The Money In The Bank will be SWEET though...

TNA though i watch every week and get all the PPVs.
thug saint oga Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 i got no cable, so i only know what's going on from 411wrestling recaps and the random times i see it at a friend's house. my friends and i don't think we'll be ordering it this year, it's just so expensive and the card is not looking as great as i would want a 'mania to look.... however, there's a movie theater/grill place not too far away that showed it last year. it was sweet....it was only four dollars to get in and you could order food and beer and watch the mania on a movie screen!! plus there were a ton of other wrestling nerds there to hoot and hollar along with us. if they are airing it again this year, i'm totally down for that! i would imagine they would as the day of mania last year they had so many people trying to buy tickets they shut down a screening of another movie and showed wrestlemania on a second screen! sweetness.....
Togg Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 With the undertaker and shawn michaels going for gold it has to be 100% yes. Its been way to long since the undertaker won gold at wrestlemania. and it was well over due him winning the royal rumble. i really hope he beats batista's a** and wins the Championship:D
GardnerFTW Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 No, because I was dumb enough to buy tickets :)
Ghetto Anthony Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Nope. It looks like a terrible event this year.
mystic Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 nope...I have not watched much of Raw lately (24 and family guy instead), ECW and Smackdown I watch when I remeber (not often). so I have not kept up with the current storylines, and the current lineup outside of taker vs. batista sucks. (taker better win) Now TNA I watch everyweek.
Astil Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I will because...this is my first year with a job to get money to pay. So it's my first 'Mania.
MightyDavidson Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I won't because the card has absolutely no interest for me, the Battle of the Billionaires in particular. If my interest wasn't piqued already, it certainly wasn't going to be by the fact that Vince gave away the match on free TV this week on RAW. Honestly, if you're going to be that stupid you deserve to have your event tank.
Rocland Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I won't be ordering it, I bought tickets and I'll be there live. Should be a good show.
sirniles2000 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I pretty much always order wrestlemania and the royal rumble, no matter how good or bad the card looks, so yeah, I'll be getting it. This year a group of friends and I are going to order it together.
Dragula Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I'm not buying for the simple fact that wrestling is not that good at the moment. It just seems very bland this year. My mood will probably change and pick up the dvd later this year.:p
CapCee Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I decided before this year started that I would be ordering 2 PPVs; Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. (Maybe a couple TNA events when my 2nd income source kicks in). Mania comes to Detroit and guess who just moved out of Michigan last April after 22 years of living there? I should be there live, dammit! And hey Tyler, I looked your your profile and saw that you're a cook at KFC. I worked in that hell hole for 5 1/2 years so I hope you're set free one day. How long you been there?
Jasx12 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Yep, girlfriend really wants to watch it too. I order Survivor Series, WM, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam every year (well, every year that I actually watch wrestling, since starting again), and now that my girlfriend likes it (well, likes the WWE. TNA is take it or leave it.) I'll probably end up ordering a couple more this year.
djthefunkchris Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Same here, lol... My wife wants to see the Undertaker vs. Batista match.. She used to love HBK, but now that he's going against Cena, I think she's mad about that one, although I'm hoping for an HBK win-funny, its' the first time that she has not rooted for HBK since I been watching, lol. Anyways, I'm not sure if I am or not, but my wife wants to make it happen, so probably will. I haven't seen a live PPV (or watch it as live, like you watch raw live) since wrestlemania #3... Ussually, I just catch bits off the internet to see what happened, or watch my DVD collection of historical match's (not necessarily wrestlemania's).
tristram Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Nothing is grabbing me this year. Previously, I've really got into 'Mania, despite any cr@p WWE were pulling this was like the grand final, the coup de gras and the best of the best would be on display. This one doesn't have a signature moment to me, I know they have MITB, but it's still not TLC, that rocked... There's no Hogan/Warrior or Hogan/Andre storyline spectacular, there's nothing like Benoit/Angle that grabs you and says don't miss that, even Vince's storyline this time around pales in comparison to Shane O'Mac beating him for WCW. There's been a lot of great 'Mania moments, I just don't think this will offer too many.
WrestleManiac Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I'll be ordering it because I won't be paying for it. My brother-in-law is paying for it. I just had to convince him that it wouldn't be worth staying up untill 4/5 in the morning to watch it live so I'm watching the repeat at 10. I can't believe your paying $50 for it. That's about £25 and I'm - sorry my BIL - only paying £15.
keefmoon Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I've watched every Wrestlemania live since 15 (which isn't easy as it usually starts around 1am and finishes about 5 here and I have work in the morning) but I'm having to break the tradition and not this year. It just isn't worth it. No big matches, no potential classics.
sebsy Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I will be, can't not watch Wrestlemania. Disappointed with the lineup though. Only three I'm looking forward to are: HBK vs Cena Taker vs Batista MITB Ladder Match Khali vs Kane has just been thrown together for a generic monster match. As far as I know so far the people who deserve to be at WM but aren't are Carlito, Ric Flair, London & Kendrick, Shelton Benjamin, Nitro and Gregory Helms. No Intercontinental Title, World Tag Team, WWE Tag Team or Cruiserweight Title matches. Very disappointing. Should have built a Benoit vs Regal US Title match, and had some kind of 8 man CW Title elimination match. Also the Womens Title match is Melina vs Ashley. The two proper female wrestlers in the company don't get a match? Mickie and Victoria? Poor :(
panix04 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 i will be watching, just in case they manage to pull something shocking out the bag. But i must admit the card looks a little lightweight! I hope some of the younger/smaller stars get better push's going into next years 'mania.
