  1. Is there an e-mail setting that will stop auto-advance upon the debut of a brand new company? Nothing I've set to 'Important' has worked so far, including 'Booking Position Opens,' so I end up missing opportunities when I'm looking for a new job. Thanks.
  2. Can we get clarification on this point? Because the manual says that for each minute under the product requirement it caps the maximum score by 10 points (100 drops to 90, etc.), but in practice my 18 minute match with a couple 55 rated workers got a 40-something, and the same match at 20 minutes was around 55?
  3. I got a job booking NYCW in 2027, and their current product is one that penalizes matches under 20 minutes but also wants a whopping 40% of their TV shows to be angles. How the heck do I book an hour of TV with this product and a roster of mostly old guys with terrible stamina? The AI was somehow running four matches per show (and getting great grades for them), I can barely squeeze in two. I'm getting dinged no matter what I do. Should I just jettison all the bad workers and start over?
  4. Rather than restricting players from applying for open booking positions when they own their own company, I think that players should be given the option, if their application is accepted, to then either close or resign from their current company. It's frustrating when I am running my own small company for a few months between booking jobs for fun, but have no way to try for another job without closing my company before applying...only to end up completely unemployed when the AI scoops it up.
  5. Does the AI not take penalties like players do from running the same matches over and over and over again? SWF has run the same tag match literally a dozen times in three months and it scores 80+ every time. Makes the game world feel artificial.
  6. I just suspended one of my major star for getting in a fight. My incidents occur during the taping of my 'B' show, which I have scheduled to happen immediately before my 'A' live show the same night. The worker in question had his suspension begin as soon as the 'B' show was over, and is now unavailable for the 'A' show. I think suspensions should begin the following day, as the incident response text had led me to believe that the worker would be available for all remaining shows that same night.
  7. Is there a way to edit expenses, tv revenue, the economy or wrestling industry or anything else behind the scenes to make the game more difficult for the AI? I want to try playing in a world where even the top companies have to struggle to stay afloat and can't just coast indefinitely on their millions of monthly profits.
  8. Is there any way to affect how the AI decides to utilize call-ups, or any play styles you can recommend that make the experience of watching your big stars get called up and then misused less painful? I'm playing RIPW, SWF has called up six people so far and, in every single case, uses them exclusively as jobbers. I know this is a function of popularity, but they booked my former champ Warwick Good to lose to Hollywood Bret Starr six times in a row in over a three month span. It's hard to stay motivated to give my workers compelling stories when I know their destiny, no matter how strongly I book them, is to be used to get a bunch of old guys over.
  9. I've been running shows with the same announce team for over a year, and my two commentators just spontaneously generated a negative chemistry alert mid-show out of nowhere. Is this a bug? My other thought is that their commentary skills are both roughly the same as the announcer's; is it possible that they just weren't being checked against each other until one or both recently surpassed the announcer by a single point? Does it work like that? This is very frustrating to suddenly have negative chemistry after so long without it.
  10. I think it would be nice if there were an option to prebook a particular wrestler (or tag team) appearing in a match for an upcoming show and having their opponent be undefined until the actual show. You could even set it so that an opponent of insufficient popularity gives a penalty to the segment, or a sufficient surprise (like a popular wrestler making their debut) could generate a bonus. To prevent exploitation you could have diminishing returns on the open challenges; too many in a row could be like having too many face/heel turns too close together. Edit: This could also cover something like the Royal Rumble, where a number of entrants are announced ahead of time but there are also several surprises. Wouldn't even need any bonuses/penalties; could just be a way to pre-book several wrestlers on the show without needing to commit all 30 in advance.
  11. Does the AI ever book lucha de apuesta matches? I'm curious whether anyone has ever encountered a normally masked worker who has already lost their mask in an AI-run fed.
  12. My owner announced a change to our company's product, and I wanted to view what this upcoming change might need in terms of upcoming hiring and booking, but the only way in-game to view the products is to attempt to change them, which my owner blocked me from doing. I was able to view the products in another game, but for the sake of convenience it would be nice if I could view what each one does without attempting to change it, or to have the owner lockout happen when trying to confirm the change rather than when I try to open the list.
  13. I hired a top wrestler who had been out injured for more than a year on an exclusive written deal. He accepted the deal, and then two days later (on his projected recovery date) announced that he was retiring due to injury. Is this working as intended? Is there a way to anticipate that I'm foolishly offering a contract I can't renegotiate to a guy who's about to permanently refuse to actually do what I thought I was paying him to do? Because being on the hook financially now for two years of dead weight (or paying the hefty penalty to release him) when I thought I was scooping up a major star is kind of a bummer. He hadn't even yet appeared at a show. Shouldn't this be some kind of failure to uphold the contract on his end?
  14. Has anyone had issues with television show schedules not working properly? I just created two new weekly shows to be held on the same night (a half hour B-show to be taped and aired on a different day, and an hour-long A-show), ran them on the appropriate day a couple days after they were created as scheduled, and now both are scheduled to run again 13 days later? No matter how I fiddle with the schedule now I can't get my shows to not skip the upcoming week. Any ideas? Edit: I advanced far enough for the taped show to air, and spontaneously the next show is now scheduled for this week. Weird.
